About Soundgarden
Soundgarden is an iconic American rock band formed in Seattle in 1984. They are considered one of the pioneers of the grunge movement, alongside bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Led by the powerful vocals of Chris Cornell, the band gained widespread recognition with their 1994 hit 'Black Hole Sun', which showcased their unique blend of heavy metal and melodic rock. Their album 'Superunknown' debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and included other hits like 'Spoonman' and 'Fell on Black Days'. After disbanding in 1997, Soundgarden reunited in 2010, continuing to influence new generations of rock musicians until the tragic passing of Cornell in 2017.
