The Appalachian Equality Chorus invites you to kick off the holiday season with Spirits & Sparkle?a dazzling celebration filled with heart, humor, and harmony. Experience the many spirits of the season as we explore holiday memories, joys, and traditions through music. From timeless classics like White Christmas and It?s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year to festive favorites like Last Christmas and All I Want for Christmas Is You, this concert promises something for everyone. And keep your eyes open?you may even encounter a surprise spirit you wouldn?t normally expect this time of year. This season, the Chorus takes the stage with more than 150 voices under the direction of Dr. Alan Stevens, with Dr. Lindsey Cope as Assistant Director and Bleu Copas as Executive Director. Together, they create a sound as rich and varied as the community they represent. The State Street, Market Square, Dwight Kessel, and Locust Street garages are free after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.
