About
Indie Holiday Bash: Fox Walker, Shore Pines & Keep GoingNotes on Seating: Open seating, may be limited or standing room only. First come, first seated. Open dance floor may obscure sightlines.FOX WALKERFox Walker is a large R&B/Neo-Soul band from Portland, OR, bringing the message of community, authenticity and self- confidence through music.Fox Walker brings together an inclusive community that blurs the lines between audience and performer, where each concert is one of a kind. They work to emulate the stage shows of DAngelo and Vulfpeck, where the crowd can expect a large cast of rotating characters performing at a high level. They also keep BobbyCaldwell, Sade, Jill Scott, Raphael Saddiq and Anderson Paak on shuffle when driving to shows. In 2022, Fox Walker danced into the Portland music scene by attending shows at every opportunity. There they were enveloped in a warm, soulful, active community and have since enjoyed the fruits of its appreciation. They push each other and their friends to grow on and off stage, welcoming collaborators they meet along the way. Fox Walker has had the chance to play opening spots on legendary Portland stages such as Mississippi Studios, Holocene, Jack London Revue and festival stages at Shady Pines and City Fair. They look forward headlining these venues in the future and offering support to bigger touring bands on par with Dana and Alden, The Free Nationals and Remi Wolf. In 2024 Fox Walker was awarded the Echo Fund Grant, presented by a board of prominent figures in the music community through Music Oregon. This afforded Fox Walker the ability to collaborate with a collection of twenty-one Portland artists theyve rallied over the years. After months of planning, they recorded a live-in-studio music video for their song, Lets Vibe, at Page Street Sound Labs.SHORE PINESShore Pines takes a glitchy, jazz-inflected approach to aughts-era indie rock. Their songs feature twinning guitar and trumpet riffs, warm synths, and whirling female vocals. Having spent the last two years in a flow of indie nostalgia and galactic sounds, the band released their debut album, Loom, on May 2nd, 2025.KEEP GOINGBased in Portland, Oregon, Keep Going draws on influences from indie rock, prog rock, and dream pop to create an atmospheric and deeply personal sound. The groups name is drawn from the members guiding belief that we resist through each other. Through building community, creating and sharing our joy, and holding space for one another, we keep going.Keep Goings songs began as electronic bedroom pop written by founding members Erin Nelson (vocals and keys) and Ricardo Osuna (bass and production) during thepandemic. In 2024, Keep Going was formed as a five-piece band, adding friends andcreative collaborators Alex Babcock (guitars and synth), Lea Weber (drums andpercussion), and Daniel Neumeyer (lead guitar) giving the projects songs the shapethey were always meant to take.
