Iconic German Club Berghain Set To Reopen in October

The iconic German techno club Berghain is finally reopening its doors this October, the first time since March 2020 due to the pandemic.

Scheduled to reopen Saturday, October 2nd, the first party will feature back to back sets from Tama Sumo and Lakuti, Massimiliano Pagliara and nd_baumecker, and Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann. There are also slots for DJ Stingray, Electric Indigo, rRoxymore, Gabrielle Kwarteng and Cormac.

A rare inside look of Berghain during a party

During the pandemic, Berghain hosted weekend garden parties and midweek events, and this is the first time since the start of the pandemic that the main hall will be opened for full on party action.

Berghain opened during the pandemic for art shows and limited listening parties.

Berghain is infamous for some of the strictest security policies on earth. One nod or head-shaking “no” from the bouncers will result in rejection from entry and you will have to try your luck another day. In addition, Berghain has a strict no photos or videos policy once inside, hence the reason there are not many pictures or videos of this legendary club.
