if you’re looking for the perfect evening, i cannot recommend bygones enough! from the moment you walk through the door, you’re treated like a longtime friend. the entire staff clearly loves what they do, and it shows in every detail-from the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the quality of the drinks and service. the service was genuinely outstanding. our cocktails were made and delivered quickly, but without ever feeling rushed. every drink we had was thoughtfully crafted and absolutely worth it. the decor was so cozy and inviting, we honestly didn’t want to leave. the owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great time, and it made the entire night feel special. bygones is a gem and i am already looking forward to coming back!

Didn't know what to expect as we walked in. Meal after Sunday message was the goal. Small but invitingly interesting. The menu consisted of sandwiches, soup, and tuna salad. The place is actually more of a pub as it had a vast beer selection. I had the Fritz, which was delicious and HUGE!! Enjoyed the meal and the experience.

Decent sandwiches, nothing super special from what my wife and I had. Courtyard is nice and relaxing. Good beer selection. Definitely not worth the 1 hour wait for food.

I think This is a drinks only bar. We went and throughly enjoyed the visit. They have a great happy hour and either live music or a DJ frequently. Bree was our server and she was friendly and knowledgeable. Bar service was quick and drinks were fabulous. Fresh fruit mixers and great selection of tequila and mezcal. Super laid back atmosphere and plenty of comfortable booths and couches for relaxing. Well appointed and spotlessly clean it was a pleasure. I think this may be my favorite cocktail bar in Birmingham. I have only been twice so far but both times I was blown away by the drinks we ordered. The service both times was perfect. The atmosphere is so calming. We even brought our books oneday and it was nice just drinking and reading a bit.

Monday Night Brewing - Social Club is an awesome spot with a great vibe and an impressive lineup of beers. We stopped in and had the Jurassic Nachos, and they were absolutely loaded with flavor. The portion was huge, the toppings were fresh, and every bite had the perfect balance of spice and crunch. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, happy to walk us through the beer options and help us find something we’d both enjoy. It’s a fun, laid-back place to hang out, grab some great food, and enjoy quality craft beer. We’ll definitely be back!

What a cool place! Monday Night Brewery + Kitchen hit the spot. The beers were delicious and the nachos were spectacular. I got chicken on the nachos and the entire dish was delicious!!

The cocktails were out of this world, the vibe was one-of-a-kind, and the staff Kat & Amy made it all feel effortless and welcoming. The CUTEST bar in downtown! The vibe is so perfect for date night or casual drinking with friends. They have the coolest decorations and video booth area. The drinks are cheaper and smaller, but they’re strong and delicious!

First time at The Margaret and I was blown away. The vibe is super cool — kind of this purple, New Orleans feel — but what really stood out was Lauren behind the bar. She was so friendly and welcoming, made great drink recommendations, and just made the whole experience better. You can tell she actually enjoys what she’s doing. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Fantastic bar. The staff is incredible and they really do their best to stay on top of everyone. They have all manner of fun events. They also stuck up for the other patrons and excercised their right to refuse service to some jackhole who kept shouting and hassling everyone. Very safe and welcoming environment truly.

Had a gr8 thyme at mom’s bae-s-mint tonight. We were on the patty-o the whole Time. Only 1 person in the bathroom at a time! Probably a good policy. Gr8 vibe. Super cool atmosphere but the “security” and bar tender need to chill out a little bit. These guys are always in your business and threatening. Kind of ruins the vibe. Bathroom situation is terrible and the staff will yell at you for knocking or walking out of there thinking you weren’t alone. Super cool place but the staff is ruining the vibe there lately. When asked , they said they have to keep the “hooligans” under control. Our party of mostly 30+ was a little offended and asked if we were being hooligans and they said no, but still treated us with this awful power trip. Better ways to handle it. Don’t let the staff ruin this place, because it is a great spot. It was almost as if the staffs guard was up and on the look out for something. Regardless, you can maintain professionalism and manage your facility still. Oh and $5 cover because there is a DJ? He played old school vinyl for 45 minutes and then played music through a phone. Again, don’t let this place slip from the stupid little things.

Dive Bar with great music and hold your breath bathrooms. If you like music and good times and a good dive this is it. We had a great experience with the band HiDaze and Chris our most awesome bar tender. Thank you!

I didn't know I didn't know nothing, until I realized that I knew onlly a literal handful of bands form all the wall art. This place is like finding a sequel after you finish the first part. Great atmosphere.

Very cool bar, interesting atmosphere and awesome decor. Had amazing cocktails, and snacked on boiled peanuts. Super friendly staff, and bartenders had a comprehensive knowledge of their craft. A must-try place!

A hidden gem in Birmingham. I like to challenge a bartenders skills to see if they will attempt to make a drink that is not common but you cannot do that here. Every drink is customized based off what you tell them you like. However, you do have the option of order basics. The food was unexpectedly fantastic but yet simple. Nice vibe and atmosphere as well. Great for a date night or being out with friends. My group came in around 11:30pm and the kitchens closes at 1am.

Used to be pretty decent but recently went back and lots of the staff that used to be there are no longer there. The vibe changed and not for the better. When I came back it was also pretty dead.

Perfect for couples, they rent the venue for parties. They have attentive and friendly staff. they serve the best chicken wings in the city.

What I like about this bar the most, you are welcome to be yourself! If you feel like busting out your best moves, the dance floor is waiting for you! The bartenders and nice Carlos,Rasheed,&Sydney will definitely take care of your needs. Hookah and food in the back. Good Food, Nice Vibe, Great People!

Nice place for parties good DJ enjoyed myself no drama efficient staff

Went to an all white party. The partied was catered. Food was good. DJ Jimmie was off the chain. It was so nice to see everyone dress in all white dancing eating drinking and socializing. Best part to me was line dances we all did. Atmosphere was incredible. My mom and friends went. It was great. Oh I forgot it was a country cowboy themed.

We had an amazing night with the Blues Singer 'YoungGuy' who did an Awesome Job! We had so much fun!! Visited for the 1st time with a friend that had been before. Staff were all great from the doorman to the bartenders. Especially the female bartender with long brown hair, she was so nice & accommodating. For two females we felt safe & parking was easy even with the area being crowded.

Jordan is by far the most attentive hostess/bartender that I’ve ever encountered. I cannot recommend enough coming here and asking for her. She will take care of you, maintain whatever it is that you have on the table, and make sure that you feel special and incredibly important. There will never be another bartender quite like her. If I could recommend any location, it would be this Birmingham location just to see her. The new food is great!!!!!!!

Came for just a drink and ended up eating from their newly updated menu and stayed all evening. First time visit but we were made to feel like regulars. Jordan openly chatted like we had known each other forever. Definitely a stop Everytime we visit from now on!!

Went to the plat last night for my alumni week. My class had a section so I had the waitress get my drink. I had to throw it away because I order patron and got some bottom shelf tequila. I will never buy a drink out of this establishment again unless it’s a bottle or I see exactly what they are pouring. The drinks cost too much to be getting something you didn’t ask for.

I loved the vibes here the only thing is the entry fee was $20 and it was so packed in that place you can barely move. Everyone is really nice though! Great music! Great bar service and fun drink choices! I recommend the liquid marijuana bucket( comes with a cute keep sake Malibu bucket),and the adult capri sun both are so good! 😋 🥰
