Very excellent! The bartenders are professional and friendly. These are some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. Top notch ingredients and crafted with care. The space is welcoming too.

The Narrows is exactly the kind of place you hope to find in a city like Juneau—tucked-away, relaxed, and genuinely focused on great drinks. The bartenders here are friendly, attentive, and seem to enjoy talking about what they’re pouring. On both of our visits, we tried something different and were glad we did—the Falkor and Rattlesnake were standouts, each with their own creative twist but balanced and never overdone. The space itself is cozy, with a bit of buzz but never overwhelming. Worth a stop if you care about cocktails or just want a welcoming spot to unwind.

Wonderful brews!! They had a great sour. I had the flight. All nice brews!! The spruce tips was my favorite!! They definitely captured that lemon flavor from fresh spruce tips. The pretzel bites were too done on the bottom, but the cheese sauce was spot on. Great service. Several locals recommended this place, and they were definitely right about it! You'll have a helluva good time!!

Best local Brewery in Juneau. Brews, food, and atmosphere are top notch. They have n/an options on draft and plenty of options for kids. The food is always great. It’s not a huge space but, I’ve never had an issue finding seating. They have a bigger selection of Saisons If that’s your preference. Pop by for a beer and a snack when in town or just running errands downtown.

Small cozy cafe. Relaxing atmosphere - seating inside and porch with a fantastic view. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. There were snacks, drinks, and a handful of other items. They offered some gift souvenirs items as well. We enjoyed a short visit, browsed a bit, and then headed on the trail. It’s a little pop in and out shop.

So you’re telling me there is an ale house in the woods? How does everyone not know about this you say? Because it’s the coolest thing you’ve ever run into. Yes the beers are $10 billion each, but did I mention it’s a ale house in the middle of the woods? All kidding aside it’s a really cool place. Definitely check out. The trails up here are phenomenal. You take the gold belt tram to get up to the – well worth your time even if you’re just in for a cruise ship visit.

Stopped here on our way back to the cruise ship. Had the famous duck fart and they didn’t disappoint. Husband got fish and chips. He enjoyed very much. I had chowder and it was good with oyster crackers. Such a fun experience and great music!

Robert Degnan53 months ago

The Red Dog was highly recommended to us. We took a cruise to Alaska and the fish place we went. Not disappointed at all. The chowder was worth it alone. We got the "DUCK FART" shot. I got the Red Dog Beer and was very smooth. My wife got the Alaskan Kölsch Ale. I highly recommend this place. It's eclectic with live music that was amazing.

While we passed by several other pubs in downtown Juneau that was more crowded and offered food...we stopped here. Seemed to be quite a favorite for the locals as we chatted with a few of them. The beer brewed locally was good, the locals friendly, and the bartender attentive. Pool table at the rear was popular. Not too crowded to enjoy a draught in downtown Juneau.

Very cool chill bar in Juneau Alaska. The bartender was very helpful with picking local beers. Pool table and a jukebox. Loved the different vibe from the rest of the local tourists spots

Excellent pizza. The sauce was fantastic. 8.9 overall on the pizza scale. Great place for vegans, vegetarians, meat lovers, and gluten free people. Truly a must stop if you are coming for a tour or off the cruise. Let's not mention a live band, loads of drink options, and a friendly staff.

Karaoke night. The locals were on point singing and it was such a fun environment. Only got a beer to chill and listen to music. There is also an arcade bar connected. So cool. Pinball games, darts, pool tables, old school arcade games and good beer selection.

Located in the heart of Juneau, next to port where usually Quantam of the seas docks in the blue colored building next to it. This is a busy place and usually there is a wait about 20 mins. We ordered lazy suzy, king crab, fettuccine and the soup. The soup was delicious and savory. The highlight is the crab meat, very fresh. Visit if you can and support local business

Such an amazing experience! After so many days of cruise buffet food and tourist traps, this place was legit. Everything is homemade. The portions are perfect, above average. The quality is very high. It's a very convenient walk from the cruise ports. It's in a building with other businesses, it seemed a little odd getting there. But once you're there, it is beautiful, great experience and pictures. The food though, amazing! I got a burger and the shrimp and washed down with the grasshopper mint chocolate chip pie, which I can't explain how good it was. The decor, was all of aviation and so many plane tanking from the ceiling. The view was breathtaking as you get to see all the mountains right out the big windows. The Hanger is a must, you'll be happy that you did.

Awesome dive that’s an easy walk from the cruise port. The sign out front says it all. Great place to grab a beer, and both servers were super nice. Had 4 Alaskan beers on draft.

The absolute greatest halibut you will ever eat (juicy, tender, meaty, everything) and that's not all - their fries are killer. I visited a friend of mine for a few days. This was the first and last place I ate at and I ordered the fish and chips (halibut) both times. Staff is cool, typical pool table/bar with a restaurant if you dont like the bar. Whatever you do in Juneau, you must come here and get the fish and chips.

Love this place. Yes it's kind of a dive bar, but really nice staff, 2 pool tables and shuffle board. The fish and chips were excellent, fresh fish and $15 less than downtown for more fish. Thank you.

Six of us for lunch. Attentive service, great food and beer. Amazing crabs legs! Best I’ve ever had! Expensive and worth it. Fish and chips were also excellent. The burnt ends were not good - should be removed from the menu - go back to the kitchen and try again. The beer was also really excellent. All the beers were great. People always get down on Alaskan Amber, but it’s still a great beer. The Smoked Porter is also great. All-in-all, five stars, three $$$.

Great beer, food and gift shop. The staff was super accommodating to our group. We had one wheelchair user so this was a huge help. Very friendly, helpful navigating the menu and we enjoyed trying flights of their beers and some nibbles. Everything in town is a bit chaotic given the numerous cruise ships, but this team has figured out how to manage people and make it a good experience. Five minutes from the boat (depending on which sequence of the dock you are on) and highly recommend. Look forward to finding a couple of the beers back home.
