Roomy hot spot popular for live music, country dancing & events such as the Redneck Olympics.
I didn’t try the food there so I cannot tell you if it was good or not. The bartender was great (black lady -can’t recall her name). She makes good drinks. Drinks are cheap before 8pm. Offers country music, line dancing, and dance lessons. DJ sucked when I went there (young man) but once the older man took over the music got better. All the songs was all the songs were lovey-dovey (old ones). I don’t mind preferably some newer country music that you can dance to or more up beat. I just think music selection can be better.. Overall great place! 😁
Only place like it in the area. Get there before 8 for free cover and to get a good sitting spot. It gets pretty crowded after 9. Love the cheap drink specials. Wish they played more line dancing songs or had a line dancing only night (Thursdays?). Wish they had line dancing lessons. Wish they would play more line dancing earlier in the night as well. This area has a ton of active living resort communities that have hundreds of line dancers. I know they would appreciate coming here and getting to show off what they have learned. They would come early too. Wish they would let you keep a tab open at the bar and be able to order from any bartender at that bar. If you have an open tab, you have to order from your same bartender even if there's another one standing nearby with no line and doing nothing. Maybe that's on purpose so it encourages you to close out every time you order.
Alissa is hands down the best bartender at Denim and Diamonds! Every time I come in, she remembers my order, makes the drinks perfectly, and does it all with the biggest smile. She’s super friendly, fast, and makes the whole experience even more fun. If you go to Denim, definitely grab a seat at her bar — you won’t regret it!
Lots of fun! Old & young! Great variety of current country music! Put your boots on and come out dancing!
Great local country bar. Excellent stage lighting and sound set up. Aaron Watson sounded much better here than when I saw him at a similar size bar in CA years ago. The staff was great and managed the acts and the crowd well. Air Conditioning was flowing good too. The overall layout of this club is great because there are roll up doors that seperate the general admission crowd from the dance floors. They could use a few more bar tenders when it get busy but still not bad.
