The name describes it, it's a very Chill experience. Had a chance to grab some drinks and play some easy bar games on a date night. :) Did not get a chance to grab noms here but maybe next time. It was just a nice chill kava bar. Glad we were able to grab the limited couches and just relax for a couple hours. It's nice to have an alternative experience to going out for alcohol :) Definitely give this place a shot if you're on the fence! Attentive bar staff, huge menu of drinks - kava, kratom, Mocktails and more. ⭐✨ Thanks to Jace who took good care of us!
This was a nice place to come to after going to a concert from the Nile, but a nice place in general to go to for late night hangs. I was very hungry. They have mocktails, not just alcohol and I liked their Mule drink. Their food is also comfort food and pairs well. You can catch some live music here or you can just hangout. They have a pool table and another room, where you can find some board games to borrow to play with people at. It’s definitely Chill.
A great place to have fun or relax! Service is great, tons of tvs for watching sports, and lots of great events every month! They offer Exotic sodas and snacks for sale, definitely worth a try. The only "gardening" friendly lounge around, they've outlasted everyone else because of their hard work and dedication. Not to mention the owner, Jason, takes time to show up at the lounge and hangs out with everyone! 💯🔥Worth a visit for sure! -Nitemaretrooper
Man, I’m so glad I found this place. It’s hard to be a tourist and be able to indulge in recreational things. This place was very mellow. The music was amazing. Very low-key and chill.
This working brewery also features a sizable eatery with patio seating & a menu of burgers & pizza.
A fantastic spot to kick back and chill with friends, offering a lively atmosphere and lovely hospitality. The service is top-notch, making you feel right at home. Their pepperoni pizza is an absolute standout—bursting with flavor! With a solid selection of brews, there’s something for every beer lover. Plenty of street parking and indoor seating make it super convenient, and with screens everywhere, it’s a prime spot to catch the game. Highly recommend!
I'm so glad I came here today. I'm a huge pumpkin beer fan, and I just had the best one! I enjoyed the Double Pumpkin Barrel Aged Porter. Had a very deep porter flavor, with slight sweetness of pumpkin and whiskey. I also had the fish and sweet potato fries. They were excellent. My server Delaney was fantastic. Very good attitude and just wonderful service. I'm so glad that I stopped by here.
Neighborhood hangout showcasing nightly live music, a large beer & whiskey selection, plus bar food.
Total thumbs up if you are looking for a great dive bar open since 1974. Messer Chumps played here and also Agent Orange. It’s in a strip mall parallel configuration with half dedicated to art installations. They don’t have Heineken. The Bat Cave is attached with amazing collection of pinball machines plus another lounge to the other side. Crowd has lots of energy. Bands are great. PA system is old but adequate. World Class Dive Bar!
Yucca Tap Room is the perfect mix of great live music, solid drinks, and laid-back digs in Tempe. The intimate stage keeps you close to the performers, and they rotate bands every night, punk, rock, local acts, all with no cover or small fees. With 29 beers on tap, cocktail options, and a kitchen serving burgers, nachos, breakfast burritos, and more late-night, it’s got everything you need in one place. The staff are friendly and the arcade adds a fun twist. Great spot to catch music, hang out with friends, or even drop in for early morning drinks. A true Tempe classic!
$75 for 2 people. We each got 1 beer. My buddy got a burger and I got the fish and chips. The fish was a mushy mess and I'm pretty sure everything was frozen when I ordered it. My buddy said his burger was good. The guy next to us got the wings and he said they were really good. The mushy fish and high prices just ruined it for me. If the rest of the food is good they should just take the fish and chips off the menue. I definitely don't need to go back here for anything.
Food: AMAZING! We had the jumbo dock wings, buffalo hot. They were perfectly cooked and sauced. Carne asada wrap: YUM Macaroni and cheese w/ steak: we ordered more to go, Garlic fries: ate when full. Pazookie: literally the best we’ve had. Fun atmosphere, pool tables, darts and vibes. Patio is cool and fun. Jodis was our server, she killed it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
International eats dished up in a casual, retro-inspired destination with a covered terrace, happy-hour specials, and games.
We had lunch at The Porch in Tempe and absolutely loved it! This place is such a fun and lively spot – perfect for anyone who enjoys outdoor vibes and games. If we lived closer, we’d definitely be here more often. The setting is casual and energetic, with plenty of space to relax, play, and enjoy the sunshine. The food was delicious, the drinks were spot-on, and our server was both friendly and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you're looking for a fun hangout with friends or a laid-back lunch spot, The Porch hits the mark. We’ll definitely be back!
I had such a wonderful experience at this place! The vibe is so cool and welcoming. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, which made our visit even better. And the food? Absolutely excellent! Highly recommend.
This rustic-style watering hole in a 1918 dairy barn features a classic pub menu & sports on TV.
I had a great time at this chill local bar that's perfect for adults looking to relax and try something new. The vibe was super nostalgic, the service was friendly, and everything from the creative drinks to the tasty hotdog totally hit the spot.
It's a cute dive. Good service, decent bar food. The layout is unique and interesting inside. I genuinely would have loved to make it my after-work hang out. But while sitting at the bar after eating some delicious bottle caps and on my second beer from a dirty glass, two different cockroaches came and chilled at the bar on the back bar rail with me and my friend.
Spacious bar with sidewalk patio serving New Orleans-style food in a Mardi Gras-themed space.
Food was great and service was great. Prices just a little high considering it was supposed to be happy hour. A $6 12oz beer is just not that happy to me. The $10 frozen 20 Oz drink i can almost swallow since it's a specialty. Overall except for all the construction being done in the front, I would go again and recommend at least one visit.
My first meal in Arizona since 1995 started here. I used to live in the Mesa area while going to school back in the 90's. We had an overnight layover after vacationing in Mexico and decided to stop in Phoenix instead of Dallas. And when there is free time, it's all about the food! As I searched the Tempe area on Yelp, Fat Tuesday popped up. Looked at the menu and was sold as I love Southern food. Plus, they're located on infamous Mill Avenue, an area I wanted to show my spouse. ATMOSPHERE: ID was required to enter at dinner time. I thought they were a restaurant but they're more of a bar, so the absence of little ones was nice. Inside lighting was dim, with a mix of bar seats, low and high tops. Covered front patio seating looked onto Mill Ave. while rear patio seating sported backyard-style furniture and tables under colorful string lights. Daiquiri machines lined the back of bar. A live DJ spun and music pumped throughout the eatery. The vibe is young and fun. MENU: Southern-influenced bar-style apps, pasta, sandwiches, wraps, salads, burgers, desserts, daiquiris, beer, wine, sangria. BEVERAGE: Creamsicle Daiquiri OMG, this was absolutely delish! After ordering my boring white wine, my spouse said to take a sip of the daiquiri. I immediately canceled the wine. I guess they're known for their cornucopia of flavors, apparent from the lengthy menu. The daiquiri was thick and icy, and tasted just like a creamsicle popsicle. Being dubbed with their 190 Octane moniker, it also included a bit of Everclear, oh yeah. Because we were having dinner elsewhere, I sadly only had one. FOOD: Alligator Nugs Yup, this was real alligator meat inside and it was really good. The texture was just as the server described - a mix between chicken and fish. The "nugs" were breaded, deep-fried and were insanely moist and tender. We opted for Cajun fries which had a nice kick to them. I preferred ranch dressing to their remoulade sauce for dipping. Highly recommended! Wings (10 pcs.) The Cajun dry rub had a spice level of 3 on a 5-scale. While mostly savory, there was a bit of sweetness in the rub that I wish wasn't there, but, I finished all of it. The wings were cooked perfectly crispy with fairly juicy insides. A seriously great deal for normally pricey wings. Ranch and blue cheese dressings were tasty accompaniments. SERVICE: The bouncer checking ID's was friendly. It's seat yourself so we chose a table in the rear patio. Lexi was our server and greeted us shortly after sitting. I thought we wouldn't receive good service due to her young age but she was great. She answered all of our questions, checked on us often and was very professional. OVERALL: What a great find! Fun vibe, tasty daiquiris, good food.
Slick saloon featuring games, TV sports & creative cocktails, plus familiar eats like wraps & wings.
This was our first time at this location. The customer service was ok. The service to receive food ordered was slow. We ordered the chicken strips. It was one of the worst chicken strips we ever had. It had a crumble bread coating that was not fried but appeared to be baked. It was not good. It was not worth the price. I do not recommend this location.
The food, service and atmosphere are incredible here. The perfect pool hall, and so much more. Arcade games, pinball, darts...even a punching bag machine! Plenty of free parking. Modern Social is the perfect blend of young and old coming together for the love of the game! Kudos to the new owners...well done! 👊🎱🤌🔥👍🍕🍔🍸🍾💎🙌
Upbeat grill chain with American grub, martinis & microbrews, plus happy-hour deals.
We stopped for lunch and to watch a game. Food was good, we got the calamari, Everything Burger and the Rueban. Our Bartender was Nevada, he was very nice and attentive. Would recommend for a quick lunch.
We had brunch there. It was our first time visiting the restaurant. The food and drinks are really good! We sat outside and it was nice out. The atmosphere was really comfortable and chill. Service was a bit slow but they were all really nice. We'll be back!
Easiest the favorite part of my trip, so good it was the only place i went to twice because i had to go back. Didn't eat but just the views were different,by far the best of any high rise in the area.
The view is truly breathtaking, good music, but poor organization, you have to go to the bar to order what you want, the waiters are there, but they sit comfortably at the bar, they only come to bring the orders. few tables and placed a bit randomly, many sofas that face the pool and not the view. Too bad, because a better service would have led to a much higher rating.
Absolutely loved this place! The staff were super friendly and had that perfect blink-in-the-eye charm that made us feel right at home. The cocktails were amazing—creative, well-balanced, and just really well made. Also loved the atmosphere; cozy and inviting both inside and out, with plenty of space to relax without feeling crowded. Only had drinks (not food) but for sure a spot I'd want to come back to. Highly recommend! 🍸✨
Has everything! Long bar, nice outside area, more intimate sitting areas, a pool table, food... even a speak ez in the back- Idle Hands. The speak ez makes all around some of the best cocktails I've had. Definetly a top 3 expresso martini... and their #180 is one of my favorites.
Boisterous hangout with a big burger menu & lots of games, plus an extended happy hour.
Most awesome place for karaoke I've ever been to in Arizona (if you don't count Mooney's in Sedona). The food is super tasty. I got the monkey club sandwich. Yummy. Jacob is the best bartender/ waiter I've ever had. This guy came by to check on me every 10 minutes without fail. This place was standing room only and he still had the time. I told him I don't know how he does it. Saturday nights seem to be karaoke nights. By the way, I love the shower curtain in the restroom. Nice.
We came in we were greeted by workers welcoming I got the chicken tenders and tots that was fire The hot chips were pretty good too. My wife chicken cheesesteak was fire. They have a karaoke in the back they have two pool tables and a dart machine and a photo booth and a patio. Lots of parking definitely. Very colorful and bright. The atmosphere from the customers it's for very welcoming. They definitely have a wall of champions from events that happened it's pretty neat.
DJs pump a mix of music through this trendy pool hall with dancing & drink specials.
Let's start with the good. Before 7pm pool is $5 an hour. After 7pm it's $13 an hour. Now that that's out of the way let's be honest. This place is a dump. The tables have not been kept up in 20 yrs with rips in the felt and tons of dust bunnies. Furniture is all ripped, cracked, and gross. TV's are 10-15 yrs old and the main projector has so many dead pixels it's hilarious. It's obvious the owners just don't care about this place anymore. It's a bit of a bummer.
Got there a bit early on a Thursday. Can't speak of the nightlife but the accommodations were comfortable, clean and wide open. Plenty of tables, so certainly worth a look if you want to chalk up your stick.
Bustling venue with a roomy patio bar & deck featuring Mexican eats & cocktails.
I can’t say much about Casa. I didn’t make it. My passenger front tire on my 2011 Mazda 3 had gotten slashed somehow on the way to Casa on the highway. Just word of advice, make sure to drive safely and anything odd on the road, keep an eye out. And no texting and driving. I wasn’t texting and driving but I’m pretty sure it’s my front axle. I’ve already replaced both front tires, about 2 months ago and have uneven wear n tear and my steering wheel jerks. Especially over the millions of potholes out here. But still be cautious and drive safe 🙏 I won’t rate Casa because it’s been a couple years since I’ve been there and I’ve had nothing but good times and no drama and everyone literally having a fun time 💙 so will rate it overall 5 stars. From my past encounters (at least about 10 encounters at Casa. P.S. don’t forget! Uber/Lyft/ DD’s
Absolutely unacceptable experience. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this place runs on chaos and corner-cutting. The staff—especially security—seemed undertrained, underpaid, and overwhelmed. I’ve had smoother experiences at government clinics, and that’s saying something. If you’re considering this business, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I wouldn’t return if they paid me.
Lively bar & nightclub featuring a mechanical bull, live DJ, dancing, games, beers & bottle service.
Security try to be bullies as you enter and walk around like they are looking for a fight it is a good place to have fun but it's hard to have fun if the security walking around dogging people having to keep looking over your shoulder especially after buying $20 drinks been here 2 times my first time I got kicked out after finishing 1 drink made way to the dance floor and that's when one told me I had to go. He walked me out like I was being arrested I see why this place gets negative reviews the security walk around and try to size everyone up
Be careful going here. If security decides they don't like you, they will start a fight and then lie to police. Special shout out to security guard Luis Alas for shoving a guy who gently touched your arm and security guard Austin Garrett for choking out an old man during the fight Luis started. Real cool tough guys.
I really don’t know how people leave 1 star reviews here. Bring money, don’t stink, brush your teeth, and be polite. Every time in the 10years I been coming here it’s been an excellent time. Every girl does a good job consistently. Some are better than others and they get more money but all of them do a good job.
It's good place, beautiful girls. The girls are pretty chill. Staff is pretty cool. I would not waste money on the private room dance is basically the equivalent of couch dance. Maybe I got the wrong dancer she sold it well or I bought it poorly.
Nice club atmospheres on Friday and Saturday for music . The drinks are for kids. They don’t put any alcohol in there so if you want alcohol, please go to fat Tuesday this way way better do not buy drinks as a fake also Their Photo Booth is fake it’s 7 dollars no picture comes out they take your money and when I asked to speak to someone about that no one could help or even give me the 7 dollars back definitely won’t be back go to Fat Tuesday please don’t buy a drink there and the drinks are high and they don’t even put alcohol in there
They have amazing service and the strippers were awesome/so much fun! We went there for a friends bachelorette party and they gave us a free bottle of tequila! Great DJ as well. I would 100% recommend going there! No intake charge either.
Friendly bartender and it feels like a large space. We went on a Friday night and it felt very empty though even though it was already like 11pm so that should have been a red flag. They have two main areas. The drinks were terrible so we left after just one drink. I probably would not come back to this bar. I had a redbull vodka and it was bad and my friends couldn’t even finish their margaritas from how bad they were. They were playing good music though and had large seating areas for bigger groups but wouldn’t come back since we didn’t like the drinks.
Wasted money twice now on shows here because the security at the door is a power hungry little boy, denying access to anyone and everyone he can. Don't waste your time or money. Every review says the same thing here. Your security is trash all around! If you're an artist, please consider playing at any other venue. Your fans want to see you and aren't able to because they are being denied access or kicked out for ridiculous reasons. 🙄 terrible experience not once, but twice now.
