No-nonsense watering hole with games on TV, weekend live bands & basic pub grub in a laid-back site.
We just visited this bar and grill with our baby, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When we walked in, we were hardly greeted at all. My husband simply asked if they were showing his game, and the worker’s response was shockingly rude “nah, not this year,” in a very dismissive and standoffish tone. I understand that sports bars may have their own team loyalties, but that’s no excuse for treating guests poorly. A friendly, professional attitude should always come first, regardless of which game someone is asking about. We walked in quietly, asked one simple question, and were met with unnecessary rudeness. It’s really disheartening to be treated that way by a business. Based on this experience, it doesn’t feel like they care much about being welcoming to all customers.
The bar tender and waiter, Shelby, was EXTREMELY nice and he served us quickly and has an amazing attitude. I could tell the regulars at the bar loved him and my boys and I had a great experience. His shift was over before we left and he made sure we were ok prior to leaving and his sister took over and she was be polite.
An older sports bar with plenty of seating and a big projector. I was surprised at how good the food is, and I would definitely go again. I got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was juicy and flavorful.
Heard this was a perfect restaurant to try out some good catfish so I ordered the combo I upgraded the fries from regular to the beer battered fries and I was not disappointed it was very delicious. I chased it down with a Kentucky mule... I must’ve come at the right time because it was not too busy and there was projector with a main screen and multiple flat screens to watch all the good sports games that were being played... The menu has a lot of food choices it was hard to make a decision but I went with my priority choice because it was recommended to me word-of-mouth... The gentleman next to me was kind enough to let me take a picture of his food that he ordered since it was taco Tuesday...
Very pleasant sports bar, generous portions of food and friendly staff. Enjoyed our lunch a lot, definitely going back.
