Super place, loved the marshmallow coffee and the food was good. I got the sausage rolls which I think was only missing a side of sausage gravy to dip Them in. Loved the atmosphere with the theme being around the dog that hangs out. He is so well behaved though and impressively cute. Would recommend for a quick bite.
Welcoming atmosphere. The coffee we order was really good after a long day of wine tastings. There was great live music and out door seating. This place is centrally located, the perfect place to chill for a bit and people watch. I will be back!
🍻 Five Stars for Hop Creek — Pub of Champions and Pickle Wizards 🥒 If pub food had a hall of fame, Hop Creek would be inducted with a standing ovation and a deep-fried dill pickle tossed into the crowd. Those crispy little brined beauties were so good we briefly debated switching careers to full-time pickle critics. The Brewsed Black and Bleu burger? A glorious tower of bold flavor, beefy bravado, and bleu cheese sass. It punched our tastebuds in the best possible way and left us emotionally bonded to our napkins. And let’s talk about the Classic Reuben on marble rye. If sandwiches could write poetry, this one would’ve penned a heartfelt sonnet about melted Swiss and sauerkraut destiny. Rich, tangy, toasted perfection. Atmosphere was laid-back and lively—the kind of place where you feel equally at home sipping a local brew or making loud declarations about your new sandwich-based religion. We’ll be back. Probably wearing shirts that say “Team Pickle.” No regrets.
Touring Napa and stopped in for a quick bite. We were pleasantly surprised. Good food and service at an extremely affordable price. We had the tuna Poke and meat lovers flatbread. Both were good. Parking was a little difficult but worth it.
Very cute small bar, roasted chicken sandwich and spinach and artichoke dip was amazing. Frosè was great, momandpops seasonal spritz was also very tasty! The star of the show was our bartender Lauren. She was extremely nice, she answered all of our touristy questions with great recommendations. She was also extremely nice to my sister with special needs, who does not drink but was treated as she were a high spending customer. Thanks Lauren!!
Bar Lucia swept me into its lively rhythm the moment I sat down—noisy, yes, but in that way that makes you feel like you’re part of something fun and spontaneous. I was tucked into a corner of the bar, sipping a well-balanced cocktail. The small bites were exactly what I needed: flavorful, unfussy, and perfect for grazing while people-watching.
My favorite Napa Valley bar, and not just because it shares my last name! Second time there, just as awesome as the first. Judd and his crew are the BEST! Drinks are superb, food very tasty, decor is entertaining, and the service is excellent. Please go, you won't regret it!
Really fun cocktail bar with a very cool vibe on the inside. A little dark but really interesting decorations. The menu was very comprehensive, almost a little overwhelming, but everything you ordered with our table was delicious. Snackies look great but we were just there for cocktails. Service was attentive and really nice people. One thing I really appreciated was that there was a nice volume of music playing so we could hear it and it was lively, but I could still hear everyone at my table.
Highbrow jazz club & music venue in historic digs, with a classy New American eatery downstairs.
Great live music venue in downtown Napa! We got floor seats reserved here & it was well worth the great music, drinks & food! The venue is intimate & beautiful. There’s a bar & the service was excellent. We can’t wait to come back!
A very clean secure venue. Sound systems are outstanding. Even sitting in the lawn section...not one bad seat in the house.
Love the atmosphere of this place and the server was nice, but the oysters on the half shell were very bland even with citrus and warm ( not served over ice ) and we ask for a med rare filet mingon but it came out well done. We didn't want to wait for another so we ended up just eating it, but I bet it would have been way better med rare. Would love to come back and try the food again because maybe it was just an off night, but besides that the restaurant was comfy and affordable.
1st time in. Came for a cocktail, as we're going on to another spot for dinner. Will definitely be back to try the chef's faves. Nice spot for sure. NO karaoke. 🙏🏿🙏🏼🙏
Cool place with serve yourself tasting of balsamic vinegar and olive oils infused with a variety of different things. Espresso is bitter/sour so can’t recommend the coffee but the wine tasting is a nice feature.
First time here, they were helpful and patient with our indecisiveness while choosing our coffees. My husband tried something new but just for him, he wasn't a fan. Lo graciously let him choose another one and he loved it!! I got a good old iced latte and it was fantastic. Will def return another time to explore more of what they have to offer
Cozy, modern spot offering craft beer & California & international wines, plus cheese plates.
Great wine selection. Pretty good bartenders. There’s a very nice outdoor section. I’d probably rate higher if there’re was more non wine selection.
Cadet is a gem in downtown Napa. Great vibes, great staff, and an unbelievable power hour. $4 for a draft beer in CA is unheard of. The staff were very attentive and personable. I would highly recommend stopping in if you’re a local or just passing through. Not sure what’s up with old negative reviews, but they do not reflect Cadet currently.
Gastropub & brewery with rustic, Americana vibe for original beers plus wine & casual bar bites.
We ended up here on accident, but so happy we stopped by! Rebecca was a sensational waitress, she answered all our questions and checked on us, and all her tables frequently. She is also quite funny, which was the cherry on top of our fun evening. Even when she went on break, her co-workers didn’t leave us hanging out to dry. Now the food, phenomenal. I was impressed with everything we ordered, even the pickled egg. My salmon was 👨🏻🍳💋, moist, and perfectly seasoned. From the ambiance, the employees, to the food, 10/10.
A Hidden Gem! This place is truly amazing. The cleanliness stands out immediately, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The food is absolutely delicious, each dish is thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The service is exceptional; the staff are warm, friendly, and attentive, making you feel right at home. Pair that with a great selection of wine and a cozy, relaxing atmosphere, and you've got the perfect dining experience. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!
Great mood! The music was really cool for Napa, the lighting and design was sick too. Connor the bartender was friendly, explained the menu well and made us great drinks! Will definitely be returning. . . Many times !
I highly recommend 1331cocktails. I’ve been there three times & each time I’ve had a blast. They had a DJ each time with great music. I totally recommend going if you like to dance. We were greeted by Lupe, she made us feel very welcomed and was on top of making sure our cup was always full. I was completely impressed by her work ethic. She stayed busy picking up glasses & cleaning when she wasn’t attending to the customers . Her service was top notch & I will definitely be coming back .. oh and did I mention the bubble drink!!??? It was fabulous
Casual, brick-walled establishment offering BBQ classics, craft brews & a sizable wine selection.
The picture doesn’t do it justice - the half chicken was huge! The skin so crispy and the meat so tender. Bread & butter pickles are just as advertised - the best pickles I’ve ever had. The corn bread is the BEST corn bread ever - too good to even get a picture. The slider trio was wonderful and the meat just melts in your mouth. The restaurant is super nice and even the ceiling tiles have engraved patterns. The staff is just wonderful.
Bounty Hunters in Napa is a great spot for a casual and satisfying meal. The smoked meats are flavorful and tender, and the sandwiches are packed with generous portions. The house-made chips are crisp and pair perfectly with the tangy coleslaw and crunchy pickle. The sliders are a fun way to sample different flavors. They also have an impressive whiskey collection and great wine options. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it an easy choice for a laid-back lunch or dinner. Pro-tip: Check the special board outside. We scored $3 beers.
I love it here! One of my favorite go-to places. It’s good for a party night, or just a relaxing chill time during the week. Laurra and Delilah are my favs but everyone there always provides excellent customer service. Their cute drinks and apparel are top tier! And if you haven’t had a Chambong, then this is the place to try it at!
This place is amazing. We had Yuliana Ixtzel serve us and they were so sweet and accommodating. They have the best Froze and the watermelon Mimosa is out of this world! I think this would be the perfect place for birthdays, bachelorette parties and dates (I’m here with my husband). Treat yourself ! Worth a visit!
Classy lounge on Andaz Hotel's terrace serves small plates, boutique wines, craft cocktails & beer.
Located on the second floor of the Andaz hotel, had an after dinner drink at Mercantile Social. This lounge is outdoors and very classy. If you get a nice weather day, this establishment is definitely the place to be for a discreet outdoor glass of wine!
After experiencing the Napa Wine Train, we walked to the downtown area to sightsee and then stumbled on this spot in our search for drinks and easy bites. Great service, good food and drinks! 10/10
This long-running, casual spot for house-brewed beers & burgers features patio seats & water views.
An unassuming dive bar favored by the locals, with an interesting sports bar/old time saloon thing going. Doesn't loom like much on the outside, compared to its glitzy neighbors. But the food is great! We had the chicken skewers and the beet salad with grilled salmon, and both were finger-licking good!
Got there at happy hour. Hubby enjoyed the House Taster Set. Tried the Mexican Corn Riblets, which were tasty... not sure worth $7.95. He lived the High Five Virtue and the beer fries that came with them were yummy! I enjoyed the Spicy Cajun Penne Pasta very much and recommend!
Just visiting Napa with my lady. We wanted to check out the local bars. Super grateful we chose Stones. Sara was our bartender and was very pleasant and quick to make sure we were taking care of! If you’re passing through Napa and want to have a few drinks with an easy going crowd, this is the place to go. Thank you Sara for the great service!
It’s a dive bar with two pool tables. Bring cash, although there is an ATM. Chips is the only food available, but they usually will let you bring in your Togo food from neighboring restaurants. Sometimes they have comp food for NFL games, but that is only once a week. Karaoke is Wednesday nights and features some great local singers!!
After having a less than thrilling experience at Armistice Brewing, we decided to come to The Garden. We aren’t local. Just in town for a wedding. Couldn’t have had a more different experience between the two places. Everything was perfect at The Garden.
A large and open setting with high quality bar food and a big selection of craft beers. A full bar backed up by abundant tables with pleasant staff to keep you eating or drinking.
Neighborhood pub with a cool vibe boasting American eats & microbrews in modern-rustic surrounds.
Norman Rose Tavern is one of our regular stomping grounds because the food is consistently good and the environment is comfortable. My husband and I went there for a late lunch and sat in a booth by the window to people watch the passersby on the street. We enjoyed our server’s mellow nature and smooth service. I was thirsty from being out in the sun and both server and busser kept my iced tea and water full. Seriously, I must have a hollow leg to store it all! Here’s what we enjoyed: The Wedge Salad is big enough to share. Crispy, fresh, and tasty! My husband was craving a BLT. It was not on the menu but they had all of the ingredients so the server made it possible. He thought it was perfect. The bread and bacon were proportioned evenly making each bite delicious. Their lamb burger is always good. I love how the cheese and greens dance with the flavors of the lamb. What blew us away this time though were the Sweet Potato Fries. Seriously? It is a mystery what made them stand out for us?? They were the best we have ever had. My husband does not like sweet potato fries and he thought they were great. They were cooked to perfection. Nice crusty outside and a tasty inside. We will be back Norman Rose!
I had the fish and chips which i drove around looking for and the rest had what they had. It was very good food. The service was good. Definately a tavern i would visit again and again!
I highly recommend this place, the best skinny fries i've ever had. Lovely atmosphere. Great choice of cocktails and the cocktails we had were really nice. The person who served us was friendly, professional, and just a nice guy
Fantastic atmosphere, dog friendly, great booze and a friendly staff. The drinks take longer to arrive if you get a cocktail, but you shouldn't rush art. The complimentary cocktail if you're a club member was disappointing, since it was just a daiquiri. But it was a tasty daiquiri. I forgot what the drinks in the picture are, but every one we had was delicious.
Long-running spot for farm-to-table Californian fare set in sprawling acreage with mountain views.
Wow! Now this is what I expect from a higher-priced restaurant. Our service is exceptional, the food is amazing, and the ambiance is spectacular. The fried green beans were so tasty, but the mustard sauce was exceptionally delicious. The fried chicken was so crunchy! It was cooked perfectly and was so juicy and bursting with flavors. The mashed potato side just matched perfectly with the chicken. The flat iron steak was very tender and flavorful and was placed on a beautifully tasting chard with mushrooms and onions. The dessert was a peach and blueberry cobbler. Everything we ate tasted so fresh and delicious. We will definitely be returning in the near future.
Having reserved a patio table, we were seated promptly, but at a small table for 2. Then we asked to be moved to a table with a nicer view, which they did. Once we were comfortably seated we noticed that almost every other couple was seated at 4-person tables, and thought it odd that this wasn’t offered to us especially given that we were celebrating a birthday and there were several such tables unoccupied for the entire evening. It was quite breezy, and as the sun began to set it started to cool down quite rapidly. We saw the hostess offer blankets to a few female guests, but didn’t offer one to my wife, who by this time had donned her light jacket. So, we had to ask our server if she could have one - which he did eventually provide. Our server was very good, friendly, and attentive. He was available whenever we needed him, and periodically checked to see if we needed anything. The food was excellent, especially my asparagus salad appetizer, which I would highly recommend. My wife also loved her crab cakes. We both had the filet, which was very good, but not great - mostly because they were just slightly warm when delivered. The views of the vineyards are unbeatable, so definitely recommend patio seating. It’s also much quieter than inside. Overall, a lot of hits, and a couple of misses.
Family-friendly outpost offering 90 craft beers on tap alongside billiard tables & dart boards.
Nice pool bar with over 60 tap beers! Place of meet up of almost all the city! Enjoy it
My first time, pricey to play don’t linger cuz you’re not paying per game. Hourly rate per player ten bucks an hour. I will say this is a clean establishment and the regulars were friendly. I would definitely return. Did not eat or have drinks. Appreciated the water available and the sound system. Fun time at Billco’s playing pool. Thank you.
A basic spot for BBQ and other classic Southern dishes, this kid-friendly spot offers patio seating.
My family and I are visiting for a family reunion. We actually was trying to go to another restaurant across the street but they were closing. So we crossed the street and tried Q Restaurant & Bar. We were really pleased and happy that we ended up there. The service was great and the food also. I had the fried chicken dinner. The chicken was seasoned just right and the mashed potatoes and gravy was decent. It also came with a side of greens. They were good but I would have wanted them to be a little more tender. My husband had the same but with a side of mac and cheese which was amazing. I definitely forgot to take pictures. The best part was the music that was played. We sang the entire time. Just a great time spent with family.
My wife and I had a fantastic experience here. The space is beautiful, and the food was top-notch. I had the brisket — tender, smoky, and perfectly cooked. My wife had the smoked chicken sandwich, which was packed with flavor, and the mac and cheese was excellent. As a restaurant owner and chef, I know good food — and this was the perfect combination of quality, technique, and soul. Our server, Eric, was friendly and attentive, and the owner/manager on duty was incredibly pleasant — they genuinely listened to feedback we shared on the coleslaw and appreciated the input. That kind of hospitality makes a lasting impression. We’ll definitely be back.
Green Door is one of the only true bars in Napa city. It's a decent little dive bar but, It's falls short in a few areas: 1) the bar stools have no back rest, So they do not have very comfortable seating. 2) they don't have a domestic beer in draft. Kinda pathetic really. Every dive bar should offer at least 1 domestic beer on tap. It is cash only so they are authentic, and green door is probably the only bar open until 2am in napa city limits. They don't have food, but they offer free pizza from time to time, and it's decent pizza. Overall it's worth a drop in and grab a beer
8-29-25 My first time coming here and it was ok , the bartender a girlSuper rude and honestly if u can’t handle people that comes to drink and have fun you need to get another Job . We Went there with my friends and she came to me to tell me to shut up. Mind me i was dancing and signing and once in a while a would scream not a crazy scream more like a wooow happy scream . And she just went to me and said, “Can you just shut up , u been screaming and is annoying “ i just look at her surprised and didn’t said shit mind me a i was drunk but i dont like to argue when im drinking cause im in my happy mood. Anyways very rude girl cause she could have chose her words different with someone who was speding money in there . Having fun and drinking.
Expansive rooftop bar & full-service restaurant with fire pits, outdoor games & sweeping views.
Made a reservation for our party to enjoy after dinner drinks and catch the views. The hostess was less than thrilled to help us. Felt like we were bothering her. Told we needed to wait about 20min for a table eventhough we had reservations and tables were open. Ordered a few drinks, nothing special. Did order their cookie assortment and loved them. Our waitress was great but the hostess put a damper on the night. Will give it another try on our next visit as the views were pretty awesome
Didn’t order any food here because my mom’s bday reservations were already made elsewhere but they were great! She got her 50th bday dessert on the house and we had some amazing drinks! Their cocktails are to DIE FOR and the mojito was great! Will be coming back ASAP!
The Hubby and I dined in I believe an hour and a half before closing. We had the restaurant to ourselves. (kitchen closes 30 mins before scheduled closing but I think bar stays open) Hubby ordered 2 house margaritas. I’m assuming they were good since he had a second. We got a couple apps the ceviche was my favorite out of the 2. The other one was a little more bland in flavor. I ordered the steak and fries. Steak was cooked perfectly and we both enjoyed the flavors. Fries were OK I would have preferred a veggie or rice with it. Fries didn’t really complement or elevate the dish in my opinion. Hubby ordered the pork tacos no complaint they were generous on the meat and taste great. We finished off with the chorros for dessert. Warm and doughy and paired with natella. We cleaned the plate! Side note a lot of the photos on Google and yelp are outdated, they have since change the menu! I’d recommend giving them a try even if only for a drink and light bite!
Loved discovering Chispa. We came for happy hour (the $2 oysters deal was extremely worth it). Food was good, they had some fun and creative spins on dishes that worked well. Oysters were extremely fresh and tasty, as were the sauces. We got the chicken with mole verde that was great but a little pricy for the portion size in my opinion (that is Napa though). The tostada was delicious and salmon crudo was alright, a little too much black garlic which overpowered the dish a little. We also ordered the esquites which we loved, the flavors were incredible. The environment was lovely, people were super friendly (staff and patrons alike) and we had a great time overall. Will definitely be back !
Casual hangout at The Meritage Resort & Spa offering craft cocktails, bar bites & 6 bowling lanes.
Nice enough place as far as the food and service. You don’t go there for ambience and quiet. It’s a family place and there’s lots of noise from the little bowling alley.
Solid spot that serves Vino Bello and Meritage Resort & Spa. We stopped in for a quick drink and weren’t disappointed, very tasty. The American-style nachos (picture not shown due to hunger!) were also tasty.
