Simple watering hole inside Whole Foods offering craft beer on tap, wine & casual pub grub.
Foods organic and fresh. They have everything from bison burgers to sushi and everything in between. Staff is great. Beer selection is top notch as well. They have tap takeovers every so often from well known breweries.
Love how you can buy food from Whole Foods salad bar and come in and enjoy it at Shuffle Bar. It's connected to Whole Foods, so it makes sense. It's never crowded, and there's a decent size t.v where you can watch sports games and get a cold adult beverage. You can order food from the Shuffle Bar menu as well. It might be a better option, especially for hot items. It will be served warm and fresh.
Came here on a Sunday. Ordered the Atlantic Salmon with brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes. Overcooked was the overall theme. The brussel sprouts looked and tasted charred rather than roasted. Same with potatoes and salmon making them really dry. I'm pretty sure they're using good ingredients but they need to get a better chef here!
Happy hour Mon-Fri 4pm-6pm: $5 wines, $2 off all beers, and $5-$7 food includes poutine, nacho, quesadilla, cheese plate, charcuterie. Thursday daily special is a house burger with beer. Includes fries and select draft beer. Awesome deal! Two choices of burgers - pub burger or vegan beast burger. Gluten free beer is bottled blue label Omission? Then they have a 99% gluten removed draft beer called Stone Delicious IPA from Escondido 7.7% $6.
It's a very chill/hangout friendly spot. There are outlets under each table along each side of the restaurant and outlets on the floor for the large long table in the middle. Baby chairs are available, too. You can have an open tab or a closed one, and you order at the counter as opposed to having a server at your table. I came in, had a seat and waited to be served, but this is different from what I'm used to with the other whole foods I've been to. You can also eat the food from whole foods on their tables. The people here are friendly, there is plenty of parking, restrooms are easily accessible in the market and you can study here. The internet is considerably fast, it's free and easy to connect to. This place would be like a mid-day place to dine. While others are more into the brunch and lunch, this is more like a light pre-dinner snack or a late lunch venue. They have a plethora of drinks. No mixed drinks though. Of you can't find what you want on tap or in their menu, you will find it on their board also written in very bright in. You can't miss it. If whole foods sells it on their shelf, they most likely have it here, too.
