Dear San Francisco at Club Fugazi is just an amazing must see show. The acrobatics that these highly trained people perform is just so mesmerizing and well thought out. The whole performance is mesmerizing and at times jaw dropping. I recommend seeing this show for a memorable night in San Francisco.

It was such an amazing experience at this speakeasy bar. Password is required! The bartender Andrew was spectacular! We asked for drink recommendations and he made this drink that me and my friend loved based on our preference. I got the Pig got my purple corn and I love it!

The cocktails here are really made with TLC. At $18 a pop, you'll probably want to take a few pictures and just enjoy the vibe. To get in, you need to follow them on Instagram and see their latest post to get a door code password. Drinks might take some time, but it's worth it.

Relaxed tavern pouring classic cocktails & craft beers in a rustic space with religious decor.

A favorite always! I used to live in the neighborhood but will always come back and hang at Holy Water. They put so much thought into their cocktails, tap list, decor, menus, glassware — it’s just a whole moody vibe and they continue to get better as time goes on.

A.C. Antonelli59 months ago

Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices! Or, you know, pull up a stool and order a drink. An exceptional cocktail can feel like a religious experience, and you will certainly have one here. Phenomenal cocktails, great craft beer selection, highly skilled and friendly staff, and just a casual amount of religious decor. Holy Water is up there with the best.

Red's Place 4.6 (201)

Chinatown's oldest bar, offering beer on draft, by the pitcher & in bottles, in low-key surrounds.

This bar has a real classic, down-to-earth vibe. From the outside, the neon signs are super inviting—Coors Light and Tsingtao beer glowing in the window like a beacon for anyone looking for a good time. It’s got that old-school feel, especially with the “Red’s Place Cocktails” sign. You can just tell this is a spot where the regulars know each other by name, and they’ve probably been coming here for years. Inside, it’s cozy and a little worn-in, but that just adds to the charm. The bar itself is well-stocked, and they’ve got a decent selection of beers on tap. The decor is simple, with a few Asian-inspired touches, like that cool red frame around the mirror. It’s not trying to be anything it’s not—just a good place to grab a drink and relax. The seating is pretty basic—small tables and stools that probably get packed during happy hour. It’s not the kind of place you go for fancy cocktails or a gourmet meal, but if you’re looking for a laid-back spot to watch a game, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a cheap beer, this place seems perfect. You can almost hear the chatter and laughter from the regulars, making it feel like a second home for some.

Worth dropping by for a drink, although not really designed to hang out. Strong drinks and limited seating kind of make you feel like you’re intended to move along. Cute spot for great views, excellent service, and delicious food. We all got the clam chowder in the bread bowl and gobbled up the whole thing. This Bar is really nice . Cocktails are good . I ‘ m not drinking alcohol at moment and the bartender made me his favorite drink , a mohito without alcohol . The bartender who helped me , I can tell that he love what he does. Looking at him making drinks it could be almost hypnotic. The perfect timing , the way he poor and pick items , herbs and etc He know what he does . They host meet ups a few times a month Wich is fun. Lots of Gay people and the location is good.

wuyeegenerals12 weeks ago

I wish I could say this bar felt like a safe, inclusive space, but my experience here was the opposite. Blackbird may market itself as a gay-friendly bar, but that doesn’t prevent discrimination in other ways. While participating in a bartending apprenticeship program (called The Cocktail Camp) hosted at Blackbird, I was openly talked about and mocked by the lead bartender while I was working behind the bar within earshot. The instructor and bar staff laughed and made comments about me instead of creating a professional learning environment. As someone navigating homelessness at the time, I was already in a vulnerable position, and their behavior only added humiliation to what was supposed to be an educational setting. A bar that prides itself on being inclusive should not foster an environment where staff and program leaders talk down to participants, discriminate based on circumstance, and eject people without cause. For me, Blackbird was not a safe or professional space.

I went there on a week day night. The bar wasn’t very crowded and it was open seating. I definitely felt like the view was a lot better than the one in the view lounge. There are a lot more seating that can see the view. The waiter was super nice. He gave us good recommendation on the cocktails and he also helped us take picture. We ate a little bit before we came so we didn’t get to order the food . But it seems like they have a good selection. The cocktail was really good. I really like the vibe there and I will definitely come back!

If you're looking for a fun, immersive experience that transports you straight back to the 1920s Prohibition era, this speakeasy-style bar is a must-visit. From the moment you arrive, it feels like you are stepping into a secret world. There's no sign - just a mysterious door and a doorbell. Ring it, give the password, and you're in. Reservations are required, and the exclusivity adds to the charm. Once inside, you're seated at a cozy table and handed an impressively large cocktail and spirits menu. My friend and I went on a Saturday night around 9:30pm and were surprised by how relaxed and uncrowded it was. The seasonal drink menu is incredibly creative, ad the staff were fantastic - patient, knowledgeable, and happy to walk us through the options. The service was top-notch, and the ambiance was spot-on for the era. Dim lighting, vintage decor, and a vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I tried a few cocktails, but the standout for me was the Heavy Artillery - bold, balanced, and unforgettable. There are a few house rules that help preserve the experience: 1. Be discreet with cell phone usage 2. No flash photography and 3. Remain seated and enjoy the era. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely go back. It's not just a bar - it's an experience!

The entrance can be tricky — it’s not where the map shows. You’ll need to go around the corner near address 480, where a doorman will check your reservation password before letting you in. Inside, the atmosphere is fantastic with an extensive cocktail menu and a true hidden-bar vibe. We really enjoyed the experience, and it feels like a perfect spot for a date night. One thing to note: the area right outside has quite a few homeless people, as others have mentioned. Just be aware when arriving and leaving.

Pleasantly surprised. I thought this bar would be loud and packed to the gills but it was chill, delicious, and comfortable. We arrived around 5:30p on a Friday and were offered a seat in the back area. We ordered the shishito peppers, spinach dip, and mozzarella balls to share- all of which were delicious. My friends had a couple drinks and loved them! Overall, would recommend and will be back!

Best cocktails on Valencia Street 🍸🍹✨ They always serve a special slushy here and I’m a slushy girl so today I got the “Miami Nice”. It was pure rum deliciousness wrapped in tropical vibes and perfect in warm weather. Also had their signature Beehive cocktail, which wasn’t my favorite but husband liked it. We sat outside in the parklet and enjoyed some apps, along with all the friendly dogs walking by. Decent ice program - I think they get theirs from Blind Tiger. Service was lovely & very attentive.

Very interesting decor. Waitstaff was slim. Not very attentive. Admittedly I'm not a fan of gin so not their target audience for sure. Happy hour food selection was decent but the chicken wings though tasty, was a bit dry. The flat bread was definitely too dry from being over cooked in the oven as evidenced by the crispy burnt salami "chips". The octopus was so so with some generic flavored taco chips. The most delicious thing was actually the veggie slider. The sauce in that patty bun concoction was quite delicious. All in all a pleasant experience. It might be more interesting if your a gin aficionado. Cool decor nonetheless.

A proper london gin bar in SF with british flavored food to pair. We has the burger and fish and chips, and both were reminiscent of pubs we had eaten at in the UK. Cocktails were great, we don't normally like gin hut the Casablanca was great, and the Reaper was an interesting take on an old fashioned. Recommend makeing reservations on weekends, place is really packed.

This dive bar is peak San Francisco. One night it’s German house, the next it’s funk, then suddenly it’s Britney. Total chaos—in a good way. There’s karaoke, an upstairs bar with some seating, but I recommend grabbing a stool at the ground floor bar. Great people-watching and a wildly mixed crowd. It’s not polished, not trying to be, and perfect for a late-night drink in the Tenderloin. You’ll either stay for one or accidentally shut the place down. No two visits are ever the same.

I’ll say up front that the atmosphere might not be for everyone but it is for me. The music is loud and hard, it dimly lit and filled with beer memorabilia from floorboards to ceiling. It’s awesome. The beer selection is awesome. Not a single big brewery on tap. I love it. If you want to introduce yourself to a very large variety of the best regional brews around, this is your place. I love it.

It's been a minute since I last called in here, and it's lost none of its charm despite a recent change in ownership. Superb beers, a great atmosphere (whether there's a game on or not), a jukebox with a decent record selection and surly bar staff. But hey... be efficient and precise with your order, pay cash, and tip them. That's all they want. You don't have to try and make friends with them and that works for me. HOWEVER... the overpowering smell of vomit on this particular Sunday afternoon was almost unbearable. Even after a few beers, there was no pretending that the smell of butyric acid wasn't going to go away. Was I going to raise this matter with the bar staff? No way. Another beer please. Unfortunately, two stars deducted on this occasion.

If you like dive bars, this is the one. Small dive bar in north beach with old sports decor. The bartender was fun, fast and made great drinks. I really liked the raised seating along the windows. Great central location with lots to do around. Easy to see why this bar has been around for so many decades, very welcoming.

Chill place, very cool. Maybe a little too chill - there was a big ol dog sitting on the upholstered bench (why do people think dogs' feet aren't covered in as much sidewalk fecal matter as humans' are?) but other than that it's a great place and I'd go back. My Bloody Mary was very good. Loved the quiet and chill music.

We was driving around trying to find a place to watch football before we head back home to San Diego as we first arrived we wasn't to sure how the atmosphere would be since we're not from San Francisco and that there were all white people inside and we was the only out ball at the moment but these people were really nice and welcoming we ordered drinks, had onion rings that wasn't frozen or caked up in batter, mozzarella sticks that also wasn't caked up in batter and had cheese melting out of it when you took a bite we also ordered hot wings l didn't get to try any of that but im pretty sure they was good as well we arrived around 11am and stayed until 1:30pm we will definitely be back if we're in San Francisco again thanks EVERYONE for the positive attitudes and being apart of our San Francisco experience.

This isn't just a bar; it's a buffalo wing institution! The wings at Connecticut Yankee are a masterpiece—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly tossed in a classic, perfectly spun buffalo sauce. But the flavor journey doesn't stop there. I also had the salt and vinegar fries, and they were the perfect tangy, salty complement to the wings. The whole experience was elevated by the bartender, who was fast, friendly, and smooth—a true pro. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it the kind of spot you want to settle into for a while. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the menu and, of course, get another round of those incredible wings. This place is a must-visit!

I recently visited Elixir in San Francisco, and I must say, it’s a gem for cocktail lovers. I tried their Sazerac, Manhattan, and a mezcal cocktail, and each one was absolutely top-notch. The balance of flavors, quality of spirits, and skill of the bartenders really stood out — truly some of the best cocktails I’ve had in the city. The atmosphere is equally impressive — a warm, inviting space with a classic, old-school charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a great spot to unwind, Elixir hits all the right notes. Highly recommend stopping by for expertly crafted drinks and a fantastic vibe!

Elixir is a super cool bar with an impressive selection of older Scotch bottlings. Their pricing is very reasonable, but the real gems are the lesser-known independent bottlings—you can discover some truly unique pours here. The only minor downside is that some bottles are stored high up and require a ladder to access, but if you visit on a quiet day, you’ll have the chance to sample a bunch of really interesting Scotches at surprisingly affordable prices.

Fireside Bar is a friendly neighborhood spot that makes for a nice place to hang out and chat with locals. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, dogs are allowed inside, and there’s a solid selection of beers to choose from. I did try the Moscow Mule, and it was pretty average—not really close to a traditional Mule in terms of ingredients or balance. I’d rate it about a 4 out of 10. That said, this feels more like a place to enjoy beers, dogs, and good company rather than cocktails. Overall, a laid-back bar with a great vibe, friendly crowd, and dog-friendly policy—worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Unfortunately, had quite bad service on a recent visit. Have been here many times before and usually love it. Came in for happy hour, asked a couple clarifying questions about the happy hour deal and attempted to make friendly conversation; terse and unfriendly responses to everything. (Mind you there are 3-4 people in the bar--these are not peak hours.) Quite the opposite of the desired outcome when you visit a neighborhood joint at the end of a long day (in otherwise good spirits). I understand that everyone's entitled to their day--even a bad one--but feels a little silly to spend money in a bar that draws the service line at pouring you a beer. Hoping for a better experience next time!

Hi Dive Bar: A Cozy Spot in San Francisco Hi Dive is a bar located at Pier 28 1/2 in San Francisco. It's a great place to meet friends for a beer, especially on sunny days when you can sit outside. Hi Dive has been around since 1935. It started as a small wood-framed bar and restaurant and was once called Boondocks. It was popular with locals and tourists. As the area around it changed, so did Hi Dive. Now, it's a bright and cozy spot with a relaxed feel and great views of the San Francisco Bay and the Bay Bridge. It's also close to Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, making it a popular stop during baseball season. Many people visit for its affordable menu. Though I haven't had a full meal there, I can say their garlic and potato fries are delicious! On the day my friend visited, we met at Hi Dive for a beer and shared some garlic fries. The two ladies serving outside were very professional and friendly. We had a great time. Hi Dive also has a small indoor space with a long bar that seats about eight to ten people and a dozen tables. Hi Dive offers stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and the Bay Bridge. It has a good wine list and serves basic bar food and more. Outdoor seating is available, which lets guests enjoy their meals and drinks while taking in the beautiful scenery.

Omfg... I had wanted to go nextdoor to red's (has been wanting to for a long time) but I looked at the Hi Dive Bar menu and the fish tacos grabbed me so I had to eat here. Honestly... Best fish tacos I've ever had! They were spectacular!

Stumbled upon this place while walking around Pacific Heights. Great cocktail bar in a nice location / neighbourhood. The cocktails were interesting and unique, a great place to have a few drinks before heading for dinner. The decor is great and the staff friendly and attentive; such a fun place in San Francisco.

I did not like this place lol. Drinks are interesting but not good and the bartender wasn’t very helpful (asked for sweet drink suggestions and she seemed a little confused lol). ambiance was interesting but demographic is def older. also drinks overpriced for what you’re getting 90% ice and 10% drink. wouldn’t go again tbh

If you're in the mood for a center-city view from a great vantage point and great cocktails, The View is the perfect lounge to go to. The bar, while not the biggest, has a great selection of spirits and the bartenders are quite talented. The drinks here are a but pricey, but you're paying for the view. They do have food that is great, but I personally wouldn't come here for dinner, but instead to relax and hang out with friends for a couple drinks and overlook the city. The atmosphere is upbeat and the service was pretty good for how busy it can get.

Camila Vilela54 months ago

The food was really tasty — truly excellent in terms of flavor. However, we found it quite pricey for the portion sizes, which were very small despite being delicious. Service was good. The view is beautiful. We went around sunset and sat on the side with a view toward the bay — it was lovely, but for sunset, we’d recommend the opposite side of the building, where you can actually watch the sun go down. That view is even more special. To eat, we ordered the chips, which came out hot, crispy, and not greasy at all. They were served with hummus, which was light and fresh. We also had two mini burger pairs — absolutely delicious! The doneness of the meat, the goat cheese, and the sauce made for a perfect combination. Lastly, we ordered the scallops (you get two), which were outstanding, with a sauce that really complemented the dish. Highly recommend those! To drink, we had just a glass of wine and tap water.

The games were really old and there were very few up to date games to play. It was fun playing classics like Skee Ball,Ms.Pac Man, Galaga, Time Crisis, Tekken, Mortal Kombat and pin ball machines. There were multiple pool tables and the bar had friendly and fast service. It would have been nice to have more mocktails available and food for people who don't drink. Make sure you come with friends to play with or it's boring. Almost every game costs a dollar to play so it gets pretty expensive.

Emporium Arcade Bar is an absolute must-visit if you’re looking for nostalgic fun mixed with a modern, energetic vibe. Spread across three massive levels, this place is more than just an arcade — it’s a full-blown entertainment experience. From the moment you enter, you can tell this place is well-run. Security is tight and professional — they check IDs at the entrance, which adds a sense of safety. The venue itself is impressively clean, which is not always the case with arcade-style venues. That immediately made the experience more enjoyable. Now let’s talk games — there are over 20 to 30 machines, including everything from classic pinball, basketball shootouts, Mario Kart, DDR, Fruit Ninja, and so much more. Whether you’re into rhythm games, racing, sports, or nostalgic button-mashers, you’ll find something that brings out your inner child. There’s even a pool table, vending machines, and a photo booth for extra fun moments with friends. What really surprised me was the value: you can exchange $10 for 40 tokens, and most games cost just 4–8 credits per player — super reasonable for hours of entertainment. It’s not overly expensive considering the quality of the space and variety of options. Aside from games, there’s a great selection of bar bites and drinks, plus free plain water, which is such a thoughtful touch when you’re staying for a while or moving between games. The bar staff are quick, friendly, and the vibe is upbeat without being too chaotic. And don’t miss the huge stage area that hosts events and live music — the energy really shifts on performance nights, turning the place into a mini concert venue. In short, Emporium Arcade Bar hits the sweet spot: ✅ Clean & secure ✅ Packed with entertainment ✅ Reasonable pricing ✅ Good food & drinks ✅ Great layout across 3 levels Whether you’re with friends, on a date, or just feeling nostalgic for the games you grew up with — this place delivers. 💯 🔥 Best place ever, I'll certainly come back many times again!

Li Po Cocktail Lounge is exactly what you would expect from a dive bar in Chinatown, and that is part of its charm. The interior is a little worn but it works perfectly for a casual, laid back drink with friends. The Chinese Mai Tai is the signature drink here and definitely worth ordering. It is popular for a reason, with a smooth and tasty flavor, though for me personally it was not too strong as some other reviews mentioned. Service was quick and the atmosphere was easygoing. It is a fun stop if you are in the area and want something low key.

Ben Park32 months ago

The Chinese Mai Tai is as potent as advertised. Whether it’s a good cocktail or not is questionable. You can probably make a better drink by mixing some liquor and liqueurs at home. This place has a unique vibe though. It’s worth visiting at least once for the experience.

What a great place to hang! I felt welcome from the moment I walked in. Turns out they only use premium liquors and make all of their own mixes in house - none of that fake sugary crap most bars use. This is apparently one of the oldest bars in SF but it has a warm new feel and none of that dive-bar grunge. Met some really awesome people and had a blast. New fav bar 💗

I visited this bar when I first got into the city, and the atmosphere was amazing and great vibe, friendly staff, and incredible drinks. I happened to lose my wallet here and was sure it was gone for good, but the staff went above and beyond to track me down on Facebook and return it all the way to New Mexico. I like this place. It's comfortable and a great place to relax. There is the main floor with a long well stocked bar, jukebox, great sound system, microwave for the customers (plates and utensils I think?), and a loft with additional seating. The place is ultra clean. Don't expect to be dazzled by flashing lights or disco balls although I am impressed that the few times I've been in there the regulars have bought a round for the house. Yesterday I walked in to meet some friends and there were quite a few people there watching baseball games and doing what people do in bars. Even though it had been well over a year since my last visit the bartender greeted me right away by my first name and ask how I've been. He also asked about some small detail in my life which at first I didn't recall, but apparently he remembered more vividly. The fact that an employee of a place that I'd only visited a couple of times remembered my name, small details about me, and who I was with that day is indicative of someone who cares about his customers. I'm still relatively new to San Francisco and its great that someone has made the effort to remember my name. I don't need a place with a hundred stale beers on tap or 50 hanging TVs, pool tables or dart boards. Sometimes that stuff is nice, but not as nice as going to a place where you know you're welcome.

A true Hidden jam in downtown San Francisco This themed bar had everything that I could’ve ever hoped for! With a great selection of drink menus, I scurried in just after happy hour to sit down and enjoy quite a few drink drinks by the expert bartender Gerson My waitress, Cindy took care of every single need that I had with such urgency. It was incredible to walk into the spot and it not be very busy. Normally the spot is absolutely jumping because it’s so close to the baseball field. Go check out the wings. They beat out every national chain that I’ve ever had.

Further, I saw his DJ playing in NYC the day before weekend. What a music he took ! Had no words which I explain. He made the 2nd magic here. So impressed. Excited. I never forget the memory in Public Works.

Y’all, I have a few of problems with this spot. Please read them and make sure that you check your credit card statement and the credit card that is returned to you. I visited with 4 friends and we each got a drink. Very easy, very basic. I’m not drinking right now but my wife had a white wine. I checked my credit card statements and saw that $14 white wine showed up as $26. My other friends were less fortunate because the bartender gave their card to the wrong group. So not only did they charge the wrong amount to the wrong card. They also lost their card. Lastly, we all witnessed the bartender take shots from behind the bar while working. While I can imagine they have a healthy tolerance I have to assume this was one of the many reasons our group had these major issues with a simple order.

The lesbian parade on the Friday of Pride weekend is what brought us here, to hopefully grab a birds eye view of it while having a few beers. Believe it or not, it worked! We ended up with choice seats at the corner outdoor lanai. ATMOSPHERE: The bar takes up the entire second floor of a two level building at the corner of 16th & Market, right where the parade passes. Plus, they have a cool but skinny outdoor lanai with a railing counter and bar stools that is excellent for people-watching. The inside has some good square footage but it still can get cramped. The crowd was a mix. We met all walks of life while here, including a gay-friendly drunk straight girl traveling nurse that wanted to take my gay friend and possibly me home. :-O Thanks anyway, sister lol. They have a full service bar and great music. SERVICE: Though I didn't experience it because all of my beers were purchased for me, my friends returned fairly quickly from the bar, so service was fast despite the busyness. FUN TIP: Something that kept me entertained were the ding dong drivers at the intersection of Market, Noe & 16th. Some drivers on Noe that were headed north would stop for some reason in the middle of Market, thus blocking traffic headed east on Market. HONNNNNNNK and me SMH all afternoon long, lol! OVERALL: Cool vibe & views, great prices, free street entertainment.

Brickhouse is the perfect combo of vibe, ambiance, good food, great beer selection, and rustic charm. The building itself is made of brick and you can almost taste the history of the space walking inside. We came in tonight and ordered their Tuesday Pozole; they took our food orders around 9:15 or so, and we got our food quickly. The pork pozole is full of flavor, packed with a tomatoey kick that got my saliva flowing. It comes with a mix of sides— red pepper flakes, crunchy salty tortilla bits, fresh chopped cabbage and cilantro, raw white onions, perfectly ripe avocado, sliced radish and a squeeze of lime. My gringa mouth needed to mellow the spice a bit so I ordered some sour cream to go with it, mixed it in thoroughly, and it was stunningly ideal. We each got a bowl of that, and started with their fresh rosemary chips and a side of ranch. Delicious. Impressed. The wait staff were all lovely humans, and super helpful. We will return.

We stopped by here for a quick snack and to kill some time before our next reservation. The place is much bigger than I expected, especially when looking from the outside. This is a spacious sports bar with games to keep you occupied. We had some carne asada fries and a pepperoni pizza. The carne asada fries were a good appetizer. The pizza was decent but smaller than I expected. The staff was friendly and made sure we had what we needed.

We came to F8 on a Thursday night and it was surprisingly busy — great vibe and energy. The music was on point, and I really appreciated that they sell 0% alcohol beers so I could still blend in and enjoy the night without drinking. The venue feels well-managed overall. Big shoutout to the lady working the door — she was super pretty and her warm smile honestly made my night. That kind of positive energy at the entrance sets the tone. Give her a raise! Only downside was the bouncer — he made me feel a bit unwelcome, not sure if it’s because I’m not local or what, but it left a weird impression. Thankfully the door lady turned it around and kept the experience solid. Would still recommend checking it out!

I think the best time to go to the great northern is for a block party. They know how to do it and it’s fun! It extends the space and they have it pretty dialed at this point. Beware that party will end promptly at 9pm because of noise ordinance. But they generally have an after party inside.

I booked the Hawthorn for a private event for about 100 people, and the whole experience was excellent. The manager I worked with, Chadwick, was incredibly responsive and helpful. The bartenders they scheduled for my event, Zach and Gigi, were fast, friendly, and talented. Our DJ said their AV setup is one of the best he’s ever encountered. The space is beautiful. Everyone loved it, and we will be back, probably for more private events as well as their regular club activities.

SC Arborist53 months ago

I came to Hawthorn last weekend for my buddy’s bachelor party— he booked a table for bottle service, and honestly it was the best decision we could have made. A few of us arrived earlier than the bachelor (whose name the table reservation was under) but a guy came upstairs was super cool and walked us to our table right away. Our server was amazing — attentive without hovering. The DJ was on point, mixing a solid range of hip hop and house that kept the whole dance floor hyped up until closing. The club itself is really cool — it’s got that underground speakeasy vibe but still feels upscale and lively definitely not dead. Plenty of space to dance or just chill at our table. If you’re planning a special night out, especially with a group, I’d 100% recommend doing bottle service here. It’s worth it simply for the experience and the way they treat you. Not to mention the prices here are way better than other nightclubs I’ve popped bottles at in the past. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

I’ve been going here for years with friends and supporting our djs. I can say I’ve never had a bad time here. The atmosphere is always great, the security is chill and are easy going. The whole vibe is awesome, there are two rooms for dancing with two bars. They allow people to go in and out which is very convenient. After dancing a drinking there is food right below on the first floor to grab a bite to eat. In the 8 plus years I’ve always had a good time.

Not the worst club I’ve ever been to but it wasn’t as cool as I expected lol The first room upstairs with a dance floor was entirely empty, and then there was another room next to that with a dj and a third room with a dj downstairs. The crowd was kind of weird and it seemed a bit dead? Not a lot of people and the people that were there were all older. I went with a friend and we’re both 28 and it seemed like we were the youngest people there. Overall ok but I don’t think I’d go back. Cover was $10 and they have a free Photo Booth. Also the area/neighborhood it’s in is very bad. There are a lot of homeless people outside and standing near the entrance.

Caroline H52 months ago

This dance club is fun from beginning to end. There are multiple ways to enter. I recommend entering from the Pawn Shop. There are multiple rooms, each with their own unique design and vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful. Watch your step when coming and going through rooms! The larger dance floor is super loud, which is great for dancing. But get this - near the dance floor there are velvety padded enclaves behind the speakers so that you can rest and talk to your new love interest without screaming at eachother. What a bonus! The neighborhood is sketchy though. (No comment on the adjoining restaurant because I didn't eat there.)

Maybe it was just the night when I went, but definitely nothing special about this spot. The bouncers were a bit nasty for no reason. $10 cover fee for whaaaaaaa? that’s why you’re empty They had 1 choice for sake, which was lukewarm and tasted horrible. Music was 11/10, bunch of weirdos present when I was there (perhaps I came too late). I will only come again if my friends force me to lol

Great local bar with affordable drinks! We came on a cold Wednesday and it wasn’t busy at all but it was still a great place to watch a game. This place does get extremely popular and busy when it’s warm outside or there’s something big going on! They have mostly indoor seating but also outdoor. There’s no food menu but you can bring food from outside, like Za Pizza. With the photos on the walls, this place is a blast from the past and honors the history of San Francisco.

Went a few times at this club because of the danceable music 90’s 2000’s top 50 type. It appears they know what music to play as it was crowed which is not too bad just means people want to be there. Environment was nice. TV screens playing music videos of the songs being played. Only issues are the drink prices is a bit pricey and witness security / bouncers being rough with the guests.

Splash is such a fun spot in SF! This place is packed on Warriors game days, but if you come when they’re not playing and get here early, there’s plenty of space to grab drinks and food. We stopped in before a Giants game and everything we ordered was great. The Teive City nachos were loaded, calamari was delicious, garlic fries are a must, and the Korean Gochujang wings with the five-spice dip were full of flavor. Even the sushi rolls weren’t bad for a sports bar. The huge wall displays are perfect for watching sports, and they’ve got tons of fun extras like pool, foosball, and even a green screen golf game. The place is big with multiple bars, lots of seating, and heated outdoor spots with fire pits. Definitely a great place for parties, pregame hangs, or just watching the game with good food and drinks

If you’re a sports fan, Splash at Thrive City is an absolute dream! Located just outside the Chase Center, this 30,000-square-foot sports bar is next-level when it comes to watching the game, grabbing great food, and enjoying top-tier drinks. The two-level setup ensures that every seat is a good seat, and the massive TV screens make you feel like you’re right in the action—whether it’s basketball, football, or tennis, you won’t miss a moment. The atmosphere is electric, especially on game days, making it the perfect place to cheer on your team. The food was surprisingly good for a sports bar, and the drink menu had a great selection to keep the energy going. The service was friendly and efficient, even with a packed house. If you’re heading to the Chase Center or just looking for a great spot to watch the game, Splash is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back! Pro Tip: Get there early on game days—this place fills up fast!

One of the worst clubs I’ve ever been too. A shot of Jameson is 16$ out of a plastic cup. The music choices were beyond trash , the crowd looks like they are all like 18 to 21 years old , they actually have the nerve to charge a 20$ cover Charge per dance room if want to go to both you will have to pay 40$ and the club overall is trash. You should definitely save your money and go somewhere else hands down. Anybody that gave this place a good rating had to be like 21 and there first time to any club or bar because anybody else would tell you what I am right now 🤷‍♂️ just saying.

Didn’t get a chance to create a review earlier, but on November 9 2024 a few of us went to try out this club, since none of us never been there. I guess it depends on the music as we were expecting EDM, top 50, old school, hip hop or anything that was danceable. So we went to the smaller floor, the DJ played undanceable hardcore rap NOT hip hop but hardcore rap. I guess the DJ didn’t get the hint when only a few people were dancing and everyone was just standing there. It was so bad they closed the floor and moved every one to the main floor which played straight Mexican music and when I mean Mexican music I meant mariachi band with the trumpets. I could have sworn when I reviewed the event for that date it was house music and hip hop. Oh well. Overall very spacious since there was hardly people there, the event was laughable because the main floor with mariachi music, not sure if the people were seriously dancing because of the music or just drunk dancing to any music and the drink prices are a bit insane.

Saw the sold out Pauly D show last night and had a great time. Entire staff was super friendly and the bouncers minded their own business and only got involved when needed. I felt bad for some of the ladies in line as the club has had to ban sandals due to a lawsuit or something so ladies be sure to wear heals or shoes, they won’t let you in in sandals.
