This place has the best BBQ in town. I hope this place survives in Santa Ana. I've been to Beale's Texas BBQ three times already and will be going again soon.
The service is very good, the people are so nice, the environment is not bad at all, and the price is reasonable. But I don't know what's wrong, the horrible music effects that suddenly appear beyond human endurance, makes every second is like torturing me, and no one likes it, I really don't know why.But I know I must escape from this place.
Live music plays at this retro bar opened in 1972 with red velvet wallpaper & pin-up art.
The live bands are fun but they are too loud for such a small place. The other problem is that it is small. Not much room to sit or walk around once it gets full. Drinks are normal, staff are friendly, but the bands need to turn the volume down a but. The crowd is older couples that just sit and watch.
Im surprised I hadn’t reviewed it before. I absolutely love this place! I love the bands and the bartenders. Drinks are stiff, the crowd is great and it’s always clean. Been coming here for many years

This is my favorite beer bar in Orange County! The team is personable and friendly. The craft beer selection is amazing, and they always have Pliny the Elder on tap! Julian is super welcoming and is a perfect bartender for any situation or occasion. Definitely worth visiting and grabbing a beer.
I can only say it again and again, this bar is the place in Santa Ana. We come here once a year for a convention and usually spend some nights at Mission Bar. The beer selection is unmatched. The bartender is a sweetheart who always makes sure you‘re happy and is always down for a chat. Also pool and good music. Nice people all around, even if you come here as a foreigner, everyone‘s welcoming. Will definitely be back!

I was at the door and heard someone talking about their lost phone. I checked the reviews and saw that, people’s phones get stolen here a lot. I had to leave immediately. My phone was once stolen in London and after getting fully involved in the case. Me and my team found out that the pick pocketer worked in conjunction with the establishment… Any establishment that allows pick pocketing deserves 0 stars because someone in the management is always involved
Autumn: After consideration of reading all previous reviews. I decided to go out on May 24th, 2025, & give it a change to The Copper Door. I can say that I had a great experience starting with thanks to Ms. Autumn. Including from the bouncers at front door that greeted us, waitresses (Autumn) & the bartender that attended us two. I’m from out of state and I was given the chance to experience a great place to go and have fun with friends. A table for a bottle service is great. All depends on what You’re willing to pay. Definitely looking forward to attend once more in the future specially since I’m planing to move to the area. I literally thought I had to go to LA, to have a great tike. But The Copper Door in Santa Ana, is a place to go. Check it out. Give your review & let others hear you out. ✌️

The bartenders were top-notch — fast, friendly, and really knew how to make a drink and keep the vibe going. They made us feel welcome the moment we walked in. The food was way better than your typical bar menu — fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. On top of that, the people here had such a good energy. It’s the kind of spot where you come for a drink and end up staying all night. Highly recommend! I’m so happy I came to this establishment and I will definitely be back!
