We had an impromptu happy hour with the team at Cahoot and decided to try out Berlinetta as it was local and we knew their beers were good. What a find! Great ambience, excellent beer and delicious pizza and pretzels! To top it off, it has a record store as well as bocci courts and provided us with the balls etc. we had a blast and it was great to bond and blow off steam outside of work. Definitely adding them to our list of hang out spots!

Hipster hipster hipster and I love every minute of it. Lovely beer, nothing crazy or experimental but firmly competent and absurdly drinkable. You know, how beer should be. Lbgtq white guys spinning reggae and pulling pints. It's a new world. Really nice place.

This is my second time coming here. The first time I came, I had a great time. But this second time was terrible. My friends and I were standing at the bar, trying to order drinks. I couldn’t help but notice a very oversized man that kept bumping into us. Didn’t say “excuse me” or anything. Come to find out, he was the owner! I overheard him using STRONG profanities to one of his employees about how my friends and I need to move. I didn’t understand why we needed to move, if we were at the bar…….ordering and paying for drinks…… AT THE BAR. Finally, he opened his mouth and actually asked us to move, with an attitude though, of course. Once we got our drinks, we moved away from the bar and tried to enjoy our time somewhere else in the establishment. But I couldn’t help but notice that once we moved, there were a bunch of people (of lighter complexion) standing at the bar in the SAME spot that we were in, and the rude owner said NOTHING to them. Very Strange….. Also, the women’s bathroom didn’t have anymore tissue, so I asked the rude owner if he can restock the women’s bathroom with tissue. He immediately complained about how this would be his fourth time that night restocking the women’s bathroom with tissue. When he finally got the tissue, he slammed the rolls on top of the water fountain outside the bathrooms and walked away. Very rude. That man’s customer service needs serious work. I notice he was drinking alcohol as well. So I’m not sure if he doesn’t know how to handle his liquor or what, but he definitely needs to read a few chapters in Restaurant Customer Service 101 book. Not to throw them under the bus, but even one of the employees agreed with me and said that man is very rude all the time to customers.

Ok, let's do it. The service was phenomenal. The bartenders are very attentive and friendly. It was Latin night. The music was good it was supposed to be a kick-off to the Puerto Rican parade. While I was there, it was just a few people. I had a mojito, which was good, and we ordered the wings and the veggie rolls. I enjoyed it. Nice vibe. I would definitely go again.

I don't typically write reviews, but my experience at this establishment was so peculiar that I felt compelled to share. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere was off-putting. The music was excessively loud, and we had trouble hearing the server. Not sure what her name was. All I remember was she was very petite. She spoke to us from the far side of the room, so we made our way over to her just to understand what she said. After she told us we could sit anywhere, which we did. After assisting other customers, the server finally returned and abruptly asked, “What do you want?” I politely asked if they had a menu, to which she scrambled to find one. As I reviewed the menu, I noticed something seemed off with the server’s behavior. She appeared distracted and disoriented—pausing to stare at the ceiling and then the floor while intermittently typing on the computer. It was clear that she was struggling with multitasking, as simple tasks were left incomplete. At one point, customers approached the bar to settle their bills because she had forgotten to attend to them. Another time, she swiped someone’s card and walked away without offering any explanation, leaving the customer confused. When questioned, she nonchalantly mentioned she was “looking for a pen,” but didn’t communicate that to the guest, further adding to the sense of disorganization. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty—perhaps 10 people total—the level of service was shockingly poor. We ended up requesting the bill as soon as our food arrived, as it became clear that the service was too chaotic to continue enjoying our meal. As for the food, it was a major disappointment. I ordered the veggie flatbread pizza with garlic bread, while my sister got the BLT sandwich and fries. Her fries were still frozen in the middle, and the BLT was just as bad—rubbery bacon and wilted, rotten lettuce. My flatbread had a strange, off-putting taste that I couldn’t quite pinpoint, but it was certainly unpleasant. And the garlic bread? It was nothing more than bland naan bread with a sprinkle of garlic powder—definitely not what I was expecting When we asked for the bill as soon as our food arrived, the server ran our card but seemed completely flustered trying to find a pen. She returned with two pens in hand, stared at them as if she’d never seen a pen before, and then awkwardly looked between them before finally handing one over. It was a bafflingly slow and unprofessional exchange that only added to the frustration of the already disappointing experience. It’s unclear why we even stayed as long as we did, given the disarray of the entire experience.

It’s a casual eatery with great food and reasonable Menu that offers plenty from burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and Seafood including shellfish. Atmosphere is great with scenic views of Oceanfront. It’s a nice place for the family to spend a day outside with plenty of seating. Highly recommend.

Sultan NYC52 months ago

I visited Captain’s Cove Seaport recently and honestly, I didn’t expect it to be this beautiful and relaxing. It’s not just a marina—it’s a full experience. The place has a warm, small-town coastal vibe with an amazing view of the boats docked along the harbor, people enjoying fresh seafood, and live music playing softly in the background. Walking along the wooden boardwalk feels like stepping into a postcard. The area is clean, well-maintained, and has that calming scent of the sea. It’s family-friendly, yet also perfect for a chill solo trip or even a romantic evening stroll. There are little souvenir shops, casual restaurants, and spots where you can just sit, breathe, and watch the boats. I went around sunset and the lighting over the water was just magical. I highly recommend timing your visit during the golden hour—it completely transforms the place. If you’re into photography, you’ll love it here. The only thing I found slightly disappointing was the price—some of the food and drinks felt a bit overpriced for what you get. But overall, the atmosphere and experience made up for it. What stood out most to me was how peaceful and safe the place felt, even with other visitors around. It’s the kind of hidden gem that makes you want to come back again. Don’t skip it if you’re anywhere near Fairfield

DJ’s need to talk less and let the music play so people can dance. It was empty on Sunday dead central. I think it had something to do with the DJ. I was so disappointed and embarrassed because I took someone new there and they had a horrible time. Security is great. The atmosphere is good when there’s plenty of people there hanging out and having fun so let’s step it up the way it used to be.

My family and I went to Rum & Tequila for brunch at a friend's recommendation! What a treat!!! We arrived about 5 minutes before opening and were greeted by Carla whom graciously opened the doors. She indicated that we would be served Brunch drinks by Kay shortly after set up was completed. While waiting, Carol went over the menu items and then Kay informed us about the brunch flights that were offered. We weren't expecting too much but when Kay arrived with our fights....BOY OH BOY! What an experience! My family member had the margarita flights and I had the summer flight (which was a collaboration of beverages mixed with top shelf drinks). We placed our food orders and were even more pleased with our selections of chicken and waffles, red snapper and a vegetarian dish. As we were eating, the DJ arrived and began playing music to further enhance an already stupendous experience. This place is quite a Bridgeport treasure and we look forward to returning!!☺️💛

Happy hour at Rum and Tequila was an absolute hit thanks to Lani! From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, quick, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every time we had a question about the menu or a specific food item, she gave honest, helpful feedback that made our choices even better. Her drink-making skills were unmatched—each cocktail was crafted perfectly. Most of all, Lani’s authentic personality and warm energy made the experience memorable. Her service was truly top tier. We’ll definitely be back—and asking for Lani!

For years I've driven past Brewport and wondered what it was like, and today, we finally made it in! Cool industrial vibe with a simple menu of pizzas, salad, and drinks. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and we appreciated that she informed us the individual sized antipasto would be plenty for the four of us to share. Our pizzas arrived, and we were impressed at the thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of char. However, we all agreed that the sauce was pretty lacking in flavor, and we just really wanted more from it. They weren't bad pizzas by any means, but they could've been excellent had they just been more flavorful. The toppings definitely helped, but if I were to come back, I probably wouldn't order a standard cheese, or maybe I would add garlic on. Glad we finally checked it out and definitely a cool spot to hang out while in Bridgeport.

We decided to go here before seeing a show at the Bijou theater downtown. It’s been a very long time since my last visit. We ordered a large pizza with sausage and mushroom. It had very good flavor, but it was also very strange looking. I’ve never seen this anywhere else and I would’ve remembered this from the last time I was there. The cheese was placed on the crust before the sauce and when the pizza came out it almost looked like there was no cheese on it. It had good flavor but there was no caramelization on the cheese.

This place has a good vibe... my husband and I last min decided to visit one Sat night. Upon entering I was pleasantly greeted by one patron leaving. Let me begin by saying, as a chef I am very hard to please when it comes to food. Now let me tell you about this beautiful place that has everything MICHELIN stars look for when it comes to dining. The atmosphere is as if you're sitting amongst family, the service is thee best I have had, now the food... If this was the last meal I was ever to eat, I would be buried with a smile that could never be erased. The food was prepared with such love and flavor that I have never experienced. Every bite felt like a new experience and pleased my taste buds beyond anything I could ever imagine. Whatever troubles life throws at you or bad day you're having will be forgotten the moment you step foot in this paradise. Not only will I continue to go back but I will always find a way to tell someone that they need experience this for their self. Words can not express the joy and happiness you feel once you try this place out for yourself. Chef Pierre, Francisco, Eva, and everyone else who is apart of this dynamic team thank you so much for treating me like family and feeding me the best food I have ate. Much respect, "The Dishwasher from the Bronx"
