First time in town. First place we went after checking into hotel. Great bar. Great bartender (Maggie?)! Had a few beers. Watched some baseball. Good time! Proper Guiness pours. Other good beers on draft. Decent liquor choices.

Went on a Saturday early afternoon with a few people and the bartender was the best. No food but we ordered a pizza from around the corner. Great local Irish bar, perfectly poured Guinness. When ever down in Stamford it's a must.

This place is great for gatherings birthday parties etc... Also the service offered by the staff I amazing and it has 2 VIP lounges that are comfortable and also 2 pool tables where you may play. My advice is to visit this location and enjoy your night and have a whole lot of fun.

The only reason I am giving it four stars is because my food came out about 5 mins before my husband's and it wasn't busy....Other than that....I got the BEC and it was hot and delicious...my hubby got the chicken sandwich and he enjoyed it. Having the ability to try different beers(with a large selection)is great! The atmosphere was mellow but it was on a Sunday and they do offer a brunch menu. Definitely a place to try

Had an amazing time at Hop & Vine despite not being a beer drinker. Loved the pour-your-own tap experience and enjoyed the cider and hard lemonade. The vibes were fun and relaxed with plenty of comfortable seating. Service was excellent! Shout-out to Paige who offered complimentary shots when she found out it was my birthday. Definitely will be back!

Found this place browsing for "pool table bar". Found this little gem. Has a nice pool table and other games. It is located on a quiet street in downtown stamford. Medium size and has an open area patio in the back. Overall a nice quiet bar. Ordered food which was way better than what I had expected, actually very good. Will go back for the calamaris and freshly cut homemade french fries.

Fantastic wait-service, laid back clientele and convenient patio space make this a must stop for neighborhood patrons.

Stopped in for drinks. I wouldn't call this place an Irish bar, more like a restaurant/bar decorated like an Irish bar. The place was clean and nice enough. Four of us sat at the bar. Bartender was nice, but not particularly friendly. The two wives had the French onion soup and said it was pretty good. Guinness wasn't cold enough and felt like maybe the nitrogen wasn't properly setup (not very creamy at all).

Great bar to have a good time. Michael is a great bartender and would highly recommend if you want a fun night

Nice, comfortable Irish bar/restaurant. Very inviting with indoor and outdoor seating. Four of us stopped in for drinks. Sat at a bar table. Bartender was super. Quite friendly and helpful. Beer was good and cold. Drinks served quickly. The pretzel sounded good, so we ordered one to share. It was BIG but not good. Not warm. Unpleasant texture (seemed a little stale). Not a fan of either dipping sauce.

The seasonal cocktails here are amazing. The London Fog Old fashioned is *chefs kiss*. My favorite app here is def the fish tacos. The fish is always crunchy, yet flaky on the inside. Not too spicy, which is always great for me. And the salmon bites add a fresh touch to the menu. We had a question about a charge on our bill for a drink. A manager was able to explain the difference between a short and tall drink and was very helpful. Def a great place to come and have a few drinks on the patio!

We stopped here for drinks and appetizers and we sat at the bar. This was a very popular and loud place. On this night, they had karaoke. For as busy as this place was, we were served pretty quickly and our waiter was always available. They had many selections of beers. We ordered potato skins for appetizers and it was probably the best I ever had. This place was mostly young people and it appeared to be a local happening bar. This was a fun stop but too loud for us to enjoy.

Cool local bar, super cool decor, service is slow and it's more of a dive bar atmosphere. Worth checking out 😉

Nice gentleman’s club. A bunch of beautiful girls and hot barmaids. The atmosphere is crazy :) Harley and Jasmine are special favorites. Girls you are the best! I will definitely look again!

As a gay man this place is awesome. The ladies are super respectful of the fact that you are there for a dance. If you want to watch sports they have great TV coverage. Also the DJ has a great playlist going, and the acoustics are great like your ears won't bleed. The bathroom is antique. Generally they are not pushy. This is not the strip club to avoid but the club to support as they have some respect.

Excellent location for Salsa Thursday night. FREE salsa class and social dancing. They offer happy hour. Great people and an awesome dance community.

Hey everyone, this is the best place to celebrate a private party or birthday party. The service is amazing. The staff is excellent special Security near above beyond daycare. Safety is really really high Tare security every single one of them from bartending to the waitress to the security staff member there the owner is on top every single thing he care about his customer and his staff. Please try to go there and see with your eyes from the beginning of the end how they care about people I travel all over our place in Connecticut is no one he has a nightclub to how it is. I’ve been in too many nightclub there and with the fight or the way through someone drunk on the street, they don’t care about it, which is wrong completely every honored or every Security he should care about these people that’s a part of his job to support them. Thank you.

Great bar with great outdoor area with heat lamps. For the most part friendly staff. Went to use the restroom and locked the door… Seconds later was accosted by security banging on the door. Apparently they don’t allow you to lock the bathroom door? Gotta be one of the weirdest experiences I’ve ever been through. Very odd security personnel be weary.

This brought me back to my college days-damaged and sticky restroom, overpriced beverages in a loud atmosphere and readily available food choices that leave alot to be desired (the desired grows when the food actually arrives unfortunately). The bartender was lovely, but seemed to have limited resources to support a positive adult guest experience. Avoid unless you want to spend your evening with 19 and 20 year old.

I came here with a friend and we had the steak and the salmon both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The drinks were amazing, and we enjoyed them just as much as the food. Our server, Alexa, was wonderful always checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The food also came out quickly, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was relaxing, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a great meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I have to start with the renovation, the place is looking gorgeous. The food was top! The bread that comes with humus is delicious, the humus is also amazing. I got the stake and fries, medium rare to the perfection, juicy, really good. My wife went with the short rib, so soft, like butter and everything so tasteful. Its great to see places like this where food is treated with passion. Well done!

I recently visited Sign of the Whale in Stamford for my birthday brunch🥳, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. This is my third time coming here. It’s always a great place to come anytime of the day. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the music by DJ KC kept the energy high with a great mix of Spanish, Caribbean, and in between. The food was absolutely delicious a 10/10. Our server, Taj, was exceptional 🥰. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our celebration special, even bringing around complimentary shots every hour. I had unlimited mimosas & she always came around to refill my glass. We also received a complimentary drink from the manager, which was very thoughtful 😇. Overall, the service, music, and food exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and lively brunch spot!

We sat on the rooftop and it was a relaxing and fun atmosphere with a nice view. The food was delicious. My favorite was the tuna pokè bowl. Everything was fresh and incredibly flavorful. The flavors compliment each other so well! The only thing is I wish the salad had more goat cheese and strawberries on it.

looks like something straight out of Vegas.. The went BIG. No expense Was spared. High End Decor.. Every Sport was on a screen up front, Food was Delicious & the Staff was very accomodating. A Sports minded person would feel like they found a Second Home.

We had a group of 6 and it was easy to get a table. Very clean and comfortable. Each person enjoyed their food. My nachos were basic but very tasty. Only downside was the wine is expensive.

Avoid delivery. Ordered on seamless, called after 1 1/2 hr and they said they had no idea where the driver was, and had an attitude of "oh well". No initiate at all to solve my problem. Food arrived after two hours - cold.

Terrible place and very unsafe! First time I went, there was fights, low class people both men and women fighting. I will never return here ever! This place needs to be closed down for the type of people that go here and for not respecting anyone. Bouncers do not do their jobs and let fights happen. Owner is careless about everyone's safety. First and last time to this place.
