Stopped here for a late lunch with my husband and daughter while traveling. I had the turkey burger with sweet potato fries. My daughter had a burger with French fries. And my husband had the smoked salmon BLT with tater tots. The turkey burger was average but the sweet potato fries were probably the best I ever had. My daughter's burger was very good but her fries were cold. My husband's sandwich was good but his tater tots had a very odd flavor. He sent the tater tots back thinking there was something wrong with them, but the fresh batch tasted strange also. The service and atmosphere was decent which increased the rating. The kitchen closes from 2p-3p so they can prepare for the transition from lunch to dinner.
Yes, this is a college bar, but the food is absolutely stellar! The service was quick and on point. You will have to listen to loud music no matter where you are in the bar. We had the potstickers, the Berry Salad, and the Braised short rib with garlic potatoes and asparagus. Prices are fair and park8ng is free. The best part? There was everyone from freshman students to elderly couples, and the staff took great care of everyone. We will definitely be coming back.
It’s a great place with good food. But the best part is that it’s right by the frat houses so a lot of times u can watch the hot guys jogging shirtless as ur eating outside. Some good food and some good eye candy is always nice!!
Food is awesome! Atmosphere even better but the service, outstanding! Especially one particular server Julia! She was a terrific server, super friendly and very helpful. This restaurant isn’t just for college students either. Family’s come here, older and younger people. A must try restaurant! Definitely recommend you coming here!
I'd like to start off by saying our waitress was awesome, the food tasted great, and the atmosphere was as I remember it - typical old time bar type. I've gotta say, though, it puts a bad taste in my mouth when an establishment charges $1.00 for cheese? Did I read the menu correctly? For real? My gut tells me most people want cheese on their burgers and you'd come off as less petty if you just included the cheese in the price you charge. It kind of overshadowed the rest of the food. The pretzels were excellent and the mustard awesome. The burgers were good, as were the French fries. The French onion soup was good. Would I go back? Maybe sometime.
