Cool spot, older crowd. Drinks are reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. Dj was a little too loud. Def need some live music. As a musician, I’m interested!
I keep arriving after the food truck has already left. I like this place a lot. The drink prices are pretty much what I would expect, and the liquor and beer selection is right on track with what I like. It's not crowded or awkward or stuffy. I like this place.
You got to come here. Young people beware, you might find good vibes and people not looking at their phone all the time lol. Please come support this amazing bar and the incredible bartenders.
I love this place! Music is good, they make really good drinks, the owners and staff are very friendly and personable, and you can tell they are very passionate about their business. The bathrooms are nice and clean and the bar overall has a very comfy and beautiful vibe. I Love the exposed brick and wood features. The lighting is perfect too!
We celebrated a friends birthday here with a cocktail class with Nate and it was above and beyond! He took time to answer our questions, chat with the group and personalize the experience. Recommend to everyone!!
My girlfriend and I came here for dinner after a day at the Nemours estate. This place was amazing. Great ambience to just chill. They had live music for entertainment. Staff were all super nice, and helpful with menu. Loved all the food and drinks we got. Probably the best brussel sprouts I've ever had. I'm also pretty particular about cleanliness, and was really impressed with the open kitchen and seeing the food being handled. Chefs wearing gloves and changing them when they needed to. All in all, a really good experience, and would def go back whenever in the area. Highly recommend.
1st off I want to say, this place has the kind of food you could smell from outside on the way into the restaurant. The prices was reasonable, the music was great, the food was awesome and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend people to dine in here.
My family and I are on a road trip from NYC to Virginia this long Memorial Day weekend. We stopped by Delaware for lunch and discovered this hidden gem!!! K&R International Restaurant is by far the BEST Jamaican food we have ever had. As a family we ordered: Curry Goat, Curry Chicken, Jerk Chicken, and Pepper Steak. They give you a generous portion of food, especially the meat. Everything was seasoned to perfection and extremely flavorful (however, the curry dishes were on the saltier side). The chicken was incredibly tender and the mac n cheese was rich and creamy. They give you a choice of sides, including: cabbage, mac n cheese, and plantains. Our experience at the restaurant was very nice. We did have to wait ~30 minutes for our food, but once we tried their food- the wait was WORTH IT! Our faces quite literally lit up as soon as we took our first bites. Kevin, our waiter and chef, was also very friendly! Turns out he’s also a fellow New Yorker from the same neighborhood as us, Jamaica, Queens. This was a first for us as a family. We’ve met plenty of New Yorkers while traveling but Kevin is the first to be from Jamaica too. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you love Jamaican food and supporting small businesses, please check this place out 😊
Bustling venue featuring a wide variety of local, live metal & rock bands also houses a large bar.
I recently visited Bar XIII at 1706 Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington, and it was an amazing experience! This place has a unique atmosphere with a mix of live music and exciting events that really set the mood. The vibe is energetic and welcoming, making it a great spot for a fun night out. The drink menu is fantastic, offering a wide range of craft beers, ciders, and cocktails. Whether you’re into classic drinks or trying something new, there’s something for everyone. The cocktails were well-made, and the beer selection was impressive. The highlight of the evening was the event I attended, which was full of high energy and a great crowd. The music was lively, and the overall ambiance was vibrant and laid-back, making it easy to enjoy a night out with friends. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure everything was perfect throughout the night. It’s always a plus when the service matches the great atmosphere. The menu also offers a variety of snacks and bites, which were perfect for a quick bite while enjoying the night. If you’re looking for a place with great drinks, live music, and a fun atmosphere, Bar XIII is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back to check out more events and enjoy their excellent offerings!
Not your average bar. They host all kinds of sub culture events from D&D table nights to kink positive . Always have a good time whenever I go. The staff is amazing and very friendly.
This is a really nice place for a date night. The atmosphere is unique, the food and drinks were really good and there was live entertainment. It started getting a little crowded, so the drinks took a while to make, but it's understandable. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the drinks and food. Get the hummus!
Of course! Here’s a polished review you can use for Hummingbird to Mars: ⸻ Hummingbird to Mars is such a hidden gem in Trolley Square! It’s a really cool speakeasy with an awesome, laid-back vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another era. The bartender was fantastic—super friendly and clearly passionate about his craft. He knew everything about the drinks and made some amazing recommendations. I also tried the hummus plate and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Between the atmosphere, great cocktails, and tasty food, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be back for sure!
Offbeat beer pub with funky decor, regular live music & theme nights for bingo & more.
We went there in a slower day. The bartender was really friendly, and made some amazing drinks.
Went for an evening where some gentlemen were charging a cover fee for a deejay. Cover fee was not advertised so that put me off. Service was great but the gentlemen ruined the experience.
Very clean & upscale venue, my brother Paid in Full 40th was a blast. Owner Vic was very accomadating pleasant and considerate of the needs for this party. If ur lookn for a hidden gem to have an event this is the place, lil small with both lounge areas if wanted to add 360 booth person it would be tight, other than that 9mile galleria in De was very nice.thanks Agn Vik for making my brother Kyle 40th a success & to allow him to stay lil later. 😊
Hello there, if you are looking for an amazing just right space, for your next event, please check the 9th Mile Galleria out, you will not be disappointed, from the time I reached out to the owner Victor, I have only received professionalism from him, as soon as I step in his venue, I Was Sold... Beautifully kept very clean, the bar tender, excellent she was offering to help me set, because I was overwhelmed, she's priceless, just perfect for a small gathering. Thanks again Vic🤗
I had such a great experience at Merengue House! I tried the empanadas, the Karol G sushi, and the pepper steak with yellow rice everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Rubia took such great care of us, she was friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit even better. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Jasmine was our waitress, very helpful explaining the menu to us. Atmosphere was pleasant and music had me dancing in my seat. I most definitely will be back for the Mofongo.
Craft beer is paired with eclectic comfort food in this airy, industrial pub with a sidewalk patio.
Our server and his service were great! We ordered a beer and cider and both were very good. My wife ordered the red white and green salad which she says was pretty good, though I feel she was just being nice. She added the steak to the salad and I decided to order the steak as my meal. I have never seen a steak cut in this way and hopefully never will again. I asked for Medium and it looked Rare but I still tried a bite. It wasn’t even warm. We asked them to cook it longer. Same steak was brought back and it was barely warmer. The server was so nice and removed her steak from our check without us having to ask. Hers looked equally unappetizing. I decided not to eat another bite. Nobody that cooks a steak this way should be in a kitchen. The fries were also lukewarm. I hope this was a one off but I won’t be back to check.
Your local bar that has amazing nights with a great college vibe, has other connecting restaurants and speakeasy on certain days and nights. The food is always very surprising with great vegan options.
Big selection of craft beers & pub fare with a twist served at a warm tavern with fireplace & deck.
I ordered by phone and asked for Cajun shrimp pasta and didn’t receive the what I asked and the chicken tenders tasted as if they were cooked in old burnt oil. I work at the hospital so I didn’t have time to bring back. I’ve heard pretty good things about the place I’m sorry my first experience wasn’t as great and I treated my colleague.
On a Sunday afternoon with the hotel restaurant closed due to pipe bursts and most other restaurants also closed, i found this place open. I must say the service was a little slow due to the fact of only 2 people working and it bcoming fairly busy. The food is great, though. I had the flank steak, which was cooked MR perfectly, and the sauce was very tasty.
Relaxed bar with an Oval Office theme features American cuisine & daily happy-hour specials.
This was a nice little place. We went in the afternoon and the food was good, prices were decent, service was amazing. The one thing I'd say is a little upkeep wouldn't hurt. The bathroom (shared) blew my mind. The toilet literally moved. The interior architecture was beautiful but slowly dissolving into the dust. Service was out of this world. Everything with a smile, prompt, and correct. We'll go again.
We absolutely love this place. The food is great and the service is wonderful. It's just fun to sit back, relax and watch a game on one of many televisions and have a great meal.
Storied 1864 tavern with an outdoor patio offering varied American fare & regular live music.
This place is awesome... great bar tenders specially Daniel!!! Me and my friend went on karaoke night, it's every sunday 3:30pm-8pm.. a must visit place, its amazing, crowd is very welcoming and everyone is very friendly.... Genesis is hosting the kareoke, fun fun fun experience... we will definitely be back and this time, with my girls...
Kelly’s Logan House is hands down one of the best spots in Wilmington. The food is great, especially the wings — they’re honestly incredible, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The rest of the menu is solid too, with plenty of good options beyond typical bar food. What really makes it stand out is the late-night scene. Whether it’s live music, DJs, or just the energy of the crowd, it’s always a fun vibe without feeling overwhelming. It’s the perfect mix of lively and laid-back. I also really appreciate that it feels safe. The staff do a good job of keeping things comfortable, and it’s the kind of place you can go with friends and just enjoy yourself without worry. If you’re in Wilmington and looking for good food, great wings, and a fun night out, Kelly’s Logan House is a must.
Boisterous gay bar & nightclub with DJs, theme nights, drag shows & drink specials.
Pretty chill place with a comfortable atmosphere. Visited in karaoke night and enjoyed myself, drinks were really good as well. Will definitely be back
Dark walls, neon underglow, and bottles stacked like a skyline—Crimson Moon leans into its aesthetic and doesn't apologize for it. The vibe here is unmistakably deliberate: moody lighting, Pride-forward messaging at the bar, and a steady rotation of music videos projected behind the liquor wall. It's not just a bar—it's a statement. Phillip, the bartender on shift, is what sets the place apart. Attentive without hovering, fast without fumbling, and clearly knows his way around a shaker. It’s rare to find someone who can balance drink speed with drink quality, but he pulled it off. I watched him build layered cocktails like it was second nature. Didn't miss a pour. Atmosphere: welcoming, edgy, comfortably loud. Service: elevated by someone who gives a damn. I walked in expecting another dim bar with cheap LEDs. I walked out reminded that when service and space align, it actually feels like a night out. Extremely pleased. Would return.
Relaxed venue with a large waterside deck offering comfort food, cocktails, happy hour & live music.
Great food and atmosphere. We celebrated my granddaughter's 15 birthday We had a party of 8. A good time was had by all.
We chose Docklands for my husband's birthday to try something different. The evening started off well—our waitress was friendly and helpful with menu questions, and my entrée, though complicated, was prepared perfectly and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. We asked for ketchup with our appetizers, but it never arrived, and the server didn’t check back. My husband’s seafood tacos were mostly lettuce and lacked moisture or flavor. The loud music from the bar area made conversation nearly impossible—definitely not ideal for a celebratory dinner. The biggest letdown came with dessert. We ordered peach cobbler to go, expecting a sweet finish to the night. Instead, we were met with a mess. The kitchen had placed the ice cream directly on top of the hot cobbler before boxing it. By the time we got home, it was a melted disaster—sloppy, soggy, and completely unenjoyable. Any reputable restaurant should know better: ice cream belongs in a separate container. If they didn’t have proper to-go cups, they should’ve said so. A promising evening soured by poor execution and a ruined dessert.
Host was priceless and family oriented. Kept the vibes flowing. Food was great. Will be coming back again. She made us feel right at home. I know we had a blast and will say if you read this post lol don’t hesitate and come support em! Came all the way from Florida just for the host and our first experience with em. Never had a dull experience. Anyhow until next time. woot woot!! Biggups to the Chef’s daughter that made our food. Ace in the pocket coming from a LeCordon Bleu graduate!!
The bartender AB makes the best drinks!!! 10/10 every time and she’s quick not too heavy handed but you still feel that liqqqq!!
If I could give a half star I would. Was looking for GOOD soul food, so I remembered a friend told me about this place, it was the worse. If I could of taken the food back and asked for my money back I would. I spent $22.00 on butterfly shrimp, Mac-n-cheese, and collard greens. So let me tell you how this went, shrimp were not real shrimp they were frozen, Mac-n-cheese tasted like it was old, and this is the best part the collard greens were can Glory greens. This has to be a joke, I just dropped $22.00 in the trash. Run, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED, EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Best takeout soul food anywhere I've been
