Cool place plus while here I got to learn about Alexa and her story. I’ll attach in my photos to explain more about that. They carry Belvedere my favorite vodka so that is a plus. These adorable booths are personable and just screaming to meet the guy or girl of your dreams at.

We've been enjoying the drinks at Kin since it opened. The owner and all the bartenders are always super friendly. The drinks are simply unmatched. They are well balanced, tasty, and unique. They are always coming up with new daring combinations but I have to say I've never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

CLEANEST BAR IN GAINESVILLE (having a bathroom attendant is the best idea ever). Great staff, immaculate vibes, best music. So excited to keep the party going and stoked they're finally open!!!!

L. I got charged double for my shots. I usually never complain but I really got took to the shed at this place bc I had bought 6 shots and gave 2 of those free shot cards the chick outside gives you. Then the sign I pointed to said $5 per shot. Should be roughly ohh $20 I got a check for $39. Cooked me. Also the cover had a 35% fee to use the tap to pay.

Overview: 5/5 I’m always up for a good micro brewery. We had not made it to Blackadder until now. Great experience at this place. Ambiance : 5 I love the layout. Spacious with tables and a long bar that can accommodate large and small groups. They played great music and had games available. Food/Drink 5/5 Only did drinks and some pretzel snacks. The beer selection was awesome. I am a Belgian beer snob. A SUPERIOR selection of this variety. I tried four that were all great. Service : 5/5 Ashley our bar tender was great. She was knowledgeable and attentive to servicing us during our stay. A great conversationalist and perfectly suited for the job. Conclusion : Loved this place and we will be back!!!

Beer was awesome, talked with the owner/brewer and you can tell he really cares about the beer he makes. Great atmosphere and really good beer. I had the Queenie, James Brown, Peppered Porter, the Golden Ale and the Bat Adder Helles. Each were unique in their flavors. Many breweries get stuck on the same flavor profile, you won't find that here. I will definitely be back.

Relaxed atmosphere with a variety of drink options including non alcoholic options. A wonderful venue to watch live, local talent.

Such a great place to stop in! Drinks are on point for sure, absolutely great beer selection. If you are down, always grab an underberg. Great atmosphere and bartenders!!!

Cool spot, good beer selection, with open air seating as well dining rooms, right at Depot Park. The surrounding area has good food options. Was pleased to see that they had Viking’s Blood available.

I can't say enough good things about The Traveler. If you are in Gainesville or visiting and love cocktails, this is the spot to check out. Nice cozy cocktail bar to either chill at the bar or a few tables and sip on some amazing concoctions. The liquor and mixes they use are obscure and blend beautifully. Their wine selection is always great as well. They do different events to check out too. The menu does change based on the season and they work really hard at making sure the drinks fit well and perfect each and every time. Highly recommend The Traveler!!!

Bartender Jonah was a cool guy. He made us some fun cocktails and told us about the various wines. The place is pretty small with not much capacity but if you get there early like we did it's not an issue. They do wine tastings on Thursdays which I would love to go back and try.

Friendly neighborhood bar. Some of the best and up kept arcade machines (silver strike bowling especially), super clean, pool tables. Ice cold drafts in frosty mason jars. Visited for the first time in almost two years and the bartender was just as friendly and remembered that I had been in before. I don't believe Bobby's most recent review as the regulars have also always been warm and welcoming and eager to strike up a conversation. Just snacks and sodas as far as food goes, and smoking inside if that's a worry for you.

Old lady bartender who makes it clear she is only there for the regulars . I base this on 2 separate outings there . Service with a smile to the ones she knows . A scowl and glare as if your bothering her trying to order a beer . Never a thank you or have a nice day .

Absolutely loved it! From the moment we walked in till the moment we left, one of the best dining experiences we've had. The host greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in and took us to a table. Spencer came almost immediately. He had a great personality. I told him this was our first time and he offered us suggestions and was very accommodating. We both ordered the Highway 101 (I believe it was called) with fries and the mushroom burger with sweet potato tots. I had mentioned to Spencer we were going to be sharing and he made sure to bring us an extra plate without us having to ask. Not a huge deal when you have to ask, but I really like when they are one step ahead. The burgers were outstanding, cooked perfectly, juicy and had great flavor as were the sweet potato tots 😋 Spencer came back to check on us regularly Kept our drinks full And made sure We were pleased. The atmosphere was outstanding Enjoyed walking around and looking at it all. We will definitely be back. Have already told several people They have to check out Fords 😊 Huge plus The bathrooms were exceptionally clean.

The great food and atmosphere you expect from foods garage. We also hade above average service which made the whole meal 5 stars. My last visit to another fords on Vineland road had horrible service. So we were all the more thankful.

I used to enjoy this place, but I haven't visited in a few years. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The bartender, both the girl and the guy, didn’t pay attention when I approached the bar, even with only a few customers around. They didn’t even let us request our preferred liquor, resulting in a poorly made drink. This was not due to shift change. The bartenders didn’t pay attention and was to busy chatting even thought they saw us approaching the bar.

Great pool hall with no cover charge and reasonable prices on drinks. A little loud on a Saturday night, but a great place to unwind and recharge.

We went here after visiting an art gallery and loved the atmosphere. The owner was there and really kind, the food was tasty too! Being and to sit and visit with friends while we eat and have a drink was great, being able to play board games made it even better - and it's in a good location. Definitely give this spot a try! Where we parked was paid parking but it was a reasonable price!

It was after ten and we wanted something fun to do and something to eat. The Midnight Underground was the perfect choice! There were many games to choose from for a chill night out. We ended up distracted by the food that was better than we were expecting! The chili was so good that we all had it in some form! The chili cheese dog, and the nachos were the group favorite

Food - 5 Stars! Atmosphere - 5 Stars! Service (this has nothing to do with the restaurant, it's one person) - ONE STAR. This server named "Brooke" was RUDE to my mother and mocked her for speaking Spanish? I was dumbfounded at the whole ordeal. She even livestreamed herself insulting my mom? Surely this isn't acceptable behavior? I'll still frequent the establishment, but I hope I don't run into this server again.

This place is a good spot to stop by and grab a cigar. I brought a buddy of mine from Oregon and he was pretty impressed with the ambiance and aesthetic of the entire facility. Staff is nice and the place is tidy. Great place to light up before an evening walk around the town.

This is a fancy restaurant in Gainesville. Staffs are well-trained, very professional. Steaks are great. I had a grilled fish, but when I return next time, I'll go for the steak. The steak, my wife ordered, wad so good. She got the ribeye, and you never fail with that. I was happy that she said she wall full quite early, so I was able to finish the rest of it. I'm happy that she eats little portion of foods (just joking). Anyway, when you are in a steak-mood, come check this place out. It's worth it.

The service was incredible! We had Steve and he was really kind and helpful. Walked us through everything and quick to fix any problems we had. Steve also brought over a Somme to help select our desert wine course, I believe Jerry was his name, also really great and attentive. We would come back to sit with them any day. The wine selection is incredible here as well. Thanks so much for a great time Steve and Jerry! Before dinner we sat at the bar for a cocktail and the bartender there was really kind and helpful, honestly the whole place does service very well. We’re really grateful

Food was incredible and the service was even better! Erin and Sylvia were super attentive without hovering. Loved dining outside on their patio - such a great vibe! I had the steak frites with some roasted Brussels sprouts. Highly recommend!! Thank you for such a good experience:)

Omg $10 burger night. And these are great burgers. Love the servers, love the mock tails, love the fries. Fun to sit outside with friends. Highly recommend.

Don’t go here unless you want your real ID to get snapped in half. The incompetent bouncer (wears glasses with curly hair) snapped my friend’s real ID in half right away without even a second opinion, scanning it, etc. then laughed about it. It took her pulling out her military ID and talking to the manager for them to realize it’s real. She’s also from out of town so now she has to travel hours and go through the process of getting it replaced. The bartender was also very rude, chiming into a conversation she wasn’t a part of saying “well if they snapped it, it must be fake” which is extremely embarrassing for her and ignorant when she didn’t even know the extent of the situation. The manager was accommodating, but I suggest getting new bouncers or training them to be less dense and idiotic.

Great atmosphere very nice bartender and some of the best food I have eaten at a place like that will definitely be back this is our go to place for playing pool and eating and drinking while playing in gainsville

It's an arcade bar, exactly what you want for a fun night. Spacious and lots of spots you can post up and enjoy a chat and drink. Played some games, they all worked. Bartenders were quick and good. All mix of people

Been to 2 concerts here. It's small, but the acoustics inside are great. Tickets to both shows were cheap and worth every penny. Drinks are reasonably priced. They have multiple concerts and other events every month. I will definitely be returning.

Solid place to catch a show! Went to see Magic City Hippies at this place for the first time and I enjoyed the experience. Outside bartender was chill and got our drinks out fast. Would come back here.

I had a last minute location change for baby shower. I was in a panic. I called Monday hoping for a small miracle to host 15ppl on Wednesday. Matt, took my call and said I got you covered. What a relief. I called on Tuesday- Quade took my call, l asked if I could give the order ahead of time and have it start cooking before we get there. He said absolutely. I asked if he needed a credit card and said no. I was shocked with the trust they had. We arrived at lunch. Table set up, food came out perfectly and on time. We were in and out as we planned. I can't believe it. The baby shower was a success. About the place... Most make it a point to come here for "Live Events" because of the atmosphere. Wall to Wall giant TV's. Plenty of parking... but the food...mmm the food is what you remember. Omg. I had the Birria Style Quesadillas...freaking delicious, the juice you dunk the quesadillas in, is a mouth druel like Homer Simpson moment . I'm not kidding so good! Epic place. A bucket list for Gainesville when you visit.

Went specifically for the gator. Unfortunately the place was quite overpriced for the quantity. We first received gator bites shown in the photo, and they wanted $15 for those few crumbs of gator. We then ordered gator burgers and although they tasted great, the quantity was very underwhelming and the patties were flat as paper. We’re regular 180lb guys and ended up leaving the restaurant hungry and unsatisfied after spending $30 per person. Loved the atmosphere in there for game day though, and the waiter was friendly and understanding.

Previously been to this place a few times . This time was on Saturday during Latin Night. Atmosphere was great. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Visited during comedy/burlesque show night before.

This review is solely about this spot as a venue for shows (from the fest!) Heck yeah it’s a great small venue. Bathrooms are nice, sound was tight, and the bar is big. The staff is friendly and they made sure to have tons of free water out.

Awesome spot I hung out with the dudes sitting outside sippin on moonshine and a great gin & tonic! Highly recommend if you wanna place to hang out and smoke/meet n chat with locals. Great spirit all around this place!

I went in tonight and had the best experience. The bartender (blonde hair and tiny rimmed glasses) was amazing. I ordered a vodka grapefruit and my friend ordered a drink from the menu. A vodka grapefruit is my drink of choice and this was by far the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!!

If you want some of the best cocktails you've ever tried, this is the place. The bartenders are always on point, even when super busy. Get a cocktail, a beer or even do an Underberg shot. Well worth it each and every time we stop in. Highly recommended!!!

A nice place to grab a few drinks and some bar food with friends. Thursday night is definitely loud from the live music, but that's what you can expect from a live music night. 😅 I have tried several items on the menu and you can't really go wrong. From burgers to shrimp to their fried chicken mashed potato bowls. The corn nuggets are one of the best appetizers in my opinion. And their beer selection never fails to excite the beer drinkers of our group. There really is something for everyone.

The ratings look low, but I really liked this place. We went later in the evening, after a UF baseball game, and the place was mostly empty, with closing time approaching. There was a live musical act and he was pretty good. Posters on the wall show him to be a regular performer there and I enjoyed his performance. The server was excellent - very friendly and naturally easy going, but he kept on top of our needs. There is barely seating and table seating - the bar occupied by seemingly regular customers. The vibe was a little bit dive-bar style, but a comfortable and friendly place. The beer cheese was okay - not the best I've ever had. It wasn't incorporated well, rather than being creamy and smooth, but tasty enough. The accompanying pretzel sticks were divine. My hubs had a dozen wings - the jerk ones were amazing (I did snitch a nibble). Parking was very easy, as was access in and around the place. Pricing was good. This was a good choice on the occasion, and we'll surely go back.

Love this place! I bring friends almost every Wednesday for their $4/hour special and we always stay until closing. Awesome rooms and a nice bar !!!

The rooms are great very spacious yet comfortable and cozy in a way felt like ya was at a friend's the sound proofing was amazing you would have thought your the only ppl there and then when they were closing and we were leaving turned out there were like 12 or 13 other ppl in the back and I woulda had no clue prices were fair and everything was easy to youse gr8 place friendly staff 10 outta 10 would go again

TLDR: mediocre service and cold food. Good drinks, and good environment, but skip the food. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because I heard such raving reviews about it. The environment is FANTASTIC — it is so cutely decorated and the ambiance is divine. But, although the server was very sweet, she seemed very scatterbrained and rarely checked up on us. I understand that the environment may be less attentive, but our food took an extremely long time to come out, and it was cold. She did provide us with 20% off our bill (I assume to compensate for the long wait times), but I feel like proper communication could have prevented this issue altogether. Not only that, but I ordered fries and a Caesar salad, which don’t exactly take a long time, and neither should be soggy (although I was happy with the salad being cold). The food was just sub par, and it could’ve been avoided! The drinks, however, were super yummy, and I’d come back for those. But, I’d probably eat at home. Or do take out from somewhere else.

this bar is totally awesome! It’s the spot to just chill and hang out even if you are by yourself! If you like good sandwiches you should totally come here! The bar staff are all amazing and they will take care of you and I love everyone’s personality!! The drinks are good! The music is good!! Just come hang out here!!

Baby J's is such an incredibly special space, we can't speak highly enough about it and their incredible team. If you're looking for sophisticated ambiance, and immaculate vibes, this is the spot. Designed by local interior design geniuses, Chinotto House, the bar is filled with gorgeous details that make you want to stay all night. Live music, incredible cocktails, delicious bites, what more could you ask for? A true gem in the heart of Downtown Gainesville.

We recently hosted a private event and it was wonderful. The whole team was really easy to work with during the planning process and very communicative. The actual night went perfectly as well they were able to adjust plans as the night went on to ensure it flowed smoothly. The drinks and food were delicious as well. I wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Definitely one of the better chains around this area. My husband and I always enjoy our meals and the service is good. The food is a little pricey for what you get but it’s better quality than some other chains. They have a gluten free menu and their options are pretty good. I’ve enjoyed their pizzas, bowls, and salads. The gluten free crust is amazing. Their cheese is just ok. Better cheese would make the pizza incredible.

The food was delicious, the waitress was great, but the front seating staff acted so lost ... they were just talking amongst themselves more than wanting to help. I got up from our booth and asked to pay for our food and get some to go boxes because our waitress was so busy and we were done eating they told me to go to the take out counter then the take out counter didn't know what to do either but atleast he tried to find out waitress for us. I don't understand why they didn't understand I just wanted to pay for our food and get to go boxes because we didn't finish our food? There were 3 people at the counter and they didn't understand that?!! Our poor waitress was running around everywhere finally the take out order guy flagged her down. Like they all work there. They should know what to do...

Return visit, 👍 House cheese burger w/ Sweet potato fries. Sausage and peppers w/ sweet potato fries. 👎 Fries were room temp. No cheese came on burger, burger was med rare, NOT Med well. Taking away one star from Kitchen. Shrimp poboy, classic Rubin 👍 Clean, friendly,meals are well prepared, staff attentive, multiple screens for game watching. 👎 shrimp poboy, "6-8" popcorn size shrimp. Menu limited. Never seems to change. Bar food done well.

Everything was great! Especially the bar tender! Drinks were never empty! Double shots of Angels Envy were a nice way to end the nights! We ate here both nights we stayed at the Best Western because it was within a few steps of the hotel! It was nice not having to go anywhere. The food was good! The boys loved the ice cream sandwich dessert!

First time eating here. Service was excellent (Jared). Food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. Will be back for sure. We forgot to take pictures of our food until we ate half of it already. Hubby got the Cuban with fries. Delicious. I got the caprese grilled cheese with the garlic green beans. Very good as well. The place appeared clean and staff was very attentive. Apparently they have a new menu as of one week ago. Give it try.

Came here for dinner last night (03/12/25). Our server was great, we got two drinks (strawberry lemonade+bramble) both drinks were pretty good, we also got the fried pickles which were just downright amazing!, not soggy, crispy, and well seasoned. We also each got a burger with fries, mine had bacon and caramelized onions on it, hers was a cheeseburger with avocado and we both absolutely loved it. My burger every single bite was absolutely flavorful. The fries were great pub fries that reminded me of five guys but less greasy. For $8 each. I would come back every week if I could. Highly highly highly recommend.

Shawna is the BEST Bartender we have ever encountered. I did it for two years and I know I was good, but Shawna is the Queen! Not only did she have a conversation with everyone at the bar area, she kept your drink full and a smile on your face. Thank you Shawna and the DJ from Saturday night. We don’t go out too much, as hubby works tremendous hours, but this was an awesome night! I sang, line danced, laughed, played pool, and enjoyed good conversations with every walk of life. My husband tipped Shawna OVER 100%! That right there is proof in the pudding! We talked about Shawna all day Sunday and decided we are going to stop in with some of our biker friends and let them experience Shawna’s awesome service ! Can’t wait to see you again beautiful lady! There is no food in the bar, but they might have a food truck at times. They had some pizza and hot dogs one day we went there. That is the only food that I know of. They have chips also. Not really a big selection. I'm really not 100 percent sure. Service is excellent! Missy was a great bartender!

We came here for a birthday party Saturday and the food, service and drinks were all excellent! I got the "dangerous waters" drink and it was great!! It's a bit noisy and easy to get overwhelmed by the cacophony of the atmosphere. The kids enjoyed themselves, and the girl working the human Crane was exceptional! Little did she know she had 3 neurodivergent children come through the line with me and she explained everything very well to them and was gentle and asked them if they could move their hair, or she could move it for them...etc. She kept the kids safe and has great attention to detail. She impressed me the most! This is a better D&B than the jacksonville one.

Went for my granddaughter’s birthday, she was turning 5. She and her 13 year old brother loved the games. The food was good as well. It was quite busy on a Sunday night, but our server was phenomenal! Very attentive and friendly. It is a loud atmosphere with the TV’s, games, and people talking, and kids running around. She had a great birthday, so that’s what counts!

We've been coming to Swamp since it was in the original location. The food has always been good. We came twice during our visit this time, and dinner and lunch were both delicious. I'm so glad they now have the beyond burger! For dinner I had the southwest salad, which was amazing, and for lunch I had the beyond burger. They have quite a varied menu, so there's something for everyone. Lauren and Trinity helped us at the bar and we're wonderful! The atmosphere is great for families and students alike.

This spot is serving up some good bar food and is perfect for game-nights. However, coming here to catch up with a friend was a bit difficult in the loud setting inside. My power wrap was great with the seasoned soy protein and hummus to moisten things up. I was happy to see some vegan options on the menu. Be careful with the sides though as the seasonal vegetable may come with bacon!

We had a great meal with good service by Haley. The shrimp dish was excellent. The atmosphere was sporty and we could watch Sunday Night Football. The option to purchase a bottle of wine was convenient.

Garlic dipping sauce for the zingers was not what I was expecting, (it has an odd texture), and I had ordered an extra sause, side of broccoli, and ranch and Bleu cheese, none of which was included in my order. That's kind of a lot to miss, if someone was trying to do their job. But the ribs were the best I've had in a very long time.. excellent job to the chef. but .. you can just fire everyone else.

The wait staff are very friendly. The food is very salty and not plated well. The black plates show the oily finger prints that come from the cook to the waiter (They should always hold plates from the bottom to avoid fingerprints and smears on the top near the food.). The califlower appetizer is very good, the mashed potatoes are soooo salty I couldnt eat them, the small steak was disappointing. It sat on a small bed of lettuce that makes it hard to cut the steak into pieces. Its not very ideal at all. The au jus cheesesteak had legaments and fat and tasted very gamey, so the prep work was most likely minimal. I used the mashed potatoes and au jus cheese steak as compost (at home) since I didnt want to eat it. I was disappointed in the food due to the excessive amount of saltiness, plating, and flavor. In the photos you can see the oily fingerprints on the top of the plates. Thats a big no-no, and is also typically why most places serve with white plates to hide any finger smears.

We visited around 12:15pm on Tuesday since all the other Gainesville steakhouses open in the evening. Parking is valet only since the restaurant is inside the Eleo hotel, or you can walk from the free parking garage down the block to the restaurant. Restrooms were clean and 100% automated. The decor around the hotel is a minimalist nouveau style so very plain colors and barely any decorations. Carpet in the dining area was a questionable choice since anyone could see remnants of past stains on it. The restaurant was semi-busy for lunch and we landed a table near the kitchen. Electronic menu was interesting - low key minimal lunch menu. My husband and I ordered 2 hot teas, the 6 Oz. flank steak (well-done), crispy cauliflower appetizer, french onion dip sandwich with a side of boursin garlic whipped potatoes, and grilled salmon also with the whipped potatoes. The food arrived about 15 minutes after our order. Crispy cauliflower was spicy and excellent with the dipping sauce. Perfect for sharing. This was the best part of the meal. The steak, salmon, and sandwich arrived soon after. Oily fingerprints on the black plates were mildly unappealing so I wiped them off with the table napkin. We also found it odd the steak was placed on top of a bed of lettuce since that made it difficult to cut, but at least it was tender and tasted ok. The salmon was cooked well and did not have any fishy flavor at all (which is good). We finished the steak and salmon. However, the side of boursin garlic whipped potatoes was extremely salty, a heart-palpitating amount of salt, so after realizing the entire side tasted like this, it was inedible. My husband then tried the French onion dip sandwich and encountered a tough fatty ligament on the 2nd or 3rd bite so he decided to stop eating and we asked for the check and to go containers. We wouldn't be eating our leftovers, but the garden compost would certainly enjoy it. Total was $110 with appropriate tip. Customer service was excellent and the waitstaff are friendly, professional, and very accommodating. But after being disappointed in our lunch, first and last time we're eating here.

Loved the prices of the drinkz. Other than that, I came here while exploring the area on an overnight w/ my CA n FO. The bar was quiet other than us 3, there were 2 male customers and the 2 guyz behind the bar. At one point, I and one other female customer were the only femalez. There's an updated jukebox that worx through an app or right there n person. Keep in mind that one song is worth 2 credits/ aka $1. If you open a tab, you must put a card on file. If you're like me and pay cash, then you will b expected to pay after each drink before you can order another. The drinx I got were good and under $5 each. I definitely recommend getn a drink here if anything. I didn't have n e food so I can't comment about food, and to be honest, I don't know if they offer food.

You don't have to make someone feel like a leper because they're not college aged. Not everyone is out to harm someone because they are an older male. I was there just to enjoy the atmosphere and a drink but did not feel welcome with weird looks. Was kind of ripped off with the shot sizes and the price for a pint of beer. The second round of shot was larger because they could see my original frustration LOL so I thank him for that. Not too warm though.

A great discovery. We spotted it when my GPS sent us on a new way to Oaks Mall. We stopped on our way home after shopping. It's a neighborhood sports bar and grill, the kind we really like. There was football on TV and a congenial crowd with a few open tables when we arrived. Despite the crowd the service was friendly and fast. The food was great with large portions. Ordered food for my wife and I at 7pm on a Sunday and unfortunately had a very poor experience. Her chicken sandwich was so salty it was inedible, and the fries were clearly old, dry, tough, and tasted like they had been refried multiple times. The only item that was decent were the wings I ordered. When we called, the server told us we had to request a refund through Olo, even though we ordered directly from the restaurant’s website. Olo’s site then redirected us back to the restaurant, saying they are just the intermediary. When we called again, the server said the GM would reach out. I’m typing this same day so will see what they say when they reach back out.

This is a college town and this is a place for college students to hang out. Wasn’t to crowded when we were there mid afternoon in the middle of the week. I think school semester had just ended so most students and teachers were gone. Food was good, all the fixings on my burger were fresh. Mushroom burger was covered with shrooms. Music playing was not to my taste and a bit loud. Burger did not look like pictures in advertising that drew me there to try this place.

had toilet paper and soap! couldn’t ask for more! i love the graffiti art on the walls of the bathroom. drinks could be better but honestly would recommend to a friend.

First time to one of these franchises - and didn’t know what to expect. Service was standard, but not exceptional, the food was excellent, the beer selection was good, and it had a pretty cool vibe. If we ever come back, it would definitely be for the food. We usually steer toward independent operations - but we were curious about the brand. Certainly a solid choice if you are unsure about what to expect.

At 08/23/2025 6:00pm We went as a group of seven for my husband's birthday, but she said they didn't have a table for us, and instead seated a white family of seven who arrived 20 minutes after us. When I asked her why she let a group that arrived after us first, she gave me some nonsensical excuse: "There are only two servers on duty right now, so we can't seat you." (From what I could see, there were at least six servers.) We continued to wait, but someone else asked, "Have you checked in yet?" I explained the situation and he let us in right away. I never expected to experience such blatant racism. I love BWW, so this is a huge shock. *The person who seated us, the chef, and the waiter were all fantastic. Thank you.

Ordered through GrubHub and was delivered by DoorDash. But that doesn’t mean anything lol. I got a chicken Philly and it had plenty of stuff in it, but I needed some more flavor! I’ll start with 3 stars, friends who’ve eaten there before I have always told me good things! SoI’m gonna order again and definitely give them another shot!

Yesterday’s experience was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a very long time at this place. New crowd, great people and better music. Bartenders were quick and efficient compared to these other bars in Gainesville and the DJ had way more musical energy than any others I’ve seen in town. Really can’t wait to see how the grand opening goes.

I absolutely hate this place. You need to do better. There are very few people there that show they actually care about your business. And I can understand why. You don't respect your employees so of course they don't respect you and your business. There are a few. You'd better figure out which ones they are and hang on to them. Treat them right. I'm hearing about lot of great things about your bathroom attendant. Just letting you know.

The flavors were well-balanced, and the dishes were prepared with care and attention to detail. However, my enthusiasm dampened when I realized the in-house dining fee. Paying over $7 just to dine within the restaurant seemed exorbitant and left a sour taste in my mouth. This unexpected cost was disappointing and took away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. It's important for restaurants to be transparent about additional charges, as it can significantly impact a customer's perception. While the food deserves praise, I must admit that the in-house dining fee has made me hesitant about returning. It's disheartening when a hidden charge leaves you questioning the value of the overall dining experience. I hope the management takes into consideration the impact such fees can have on customer satisfaction. Without this fee I would recommend the social to others solely for the delicious food and impressive flavors. However, I would advise potential diners to be aware of the additional cost associated with dining in-house. If you're not bothered by such fees, then this restaurant might still be worth a visit for its delectable offerings.

I have none yet. I just came across it on a search. Planning to visit tonight. Good drinks and lot's of good latin music especially the classics, and I am a happy man. Not young but not old.

We went for the Latin night, and the music was pretty good. I will say it can get VERY loud, so if you are sensitive, earplugs can be helpful. Pretty spacious dance floor. I didn't love the drinks. We got cranberry vodca, and it felt like just cranberry juice. I think overall a good place for dancing if you go on theme specific nights.

Simon's is LEGENDARY! This historic venue is one of the first electronic music venues in the State of Florida and has played host to the WORLD'S TOP ELECTRONIC MUSIC PRODUCERS and DJs over the years. If you are a fan of underground electronic music, especially House, Tech House, Jungle, Drum and Bass, and Techno, this is the place to go. The vibe is very undergroundish and reminds me of the golden days of the L.A. Underground and Rave scene. If you go here, ALWAYS check to see who is performing. Often you will be blessed with some of the best DJs in the world. I have seen so many amazing DJs over the years Josh Wink, Danny Tenaglia, Green Velvet, Claude VonStroke, LTJ Bukem, Evil Eddie Richards, DJ SS, AK1200, Dieselboy, John Summit, Dillon Francis, Dombresky, Sasha & Digweed, and so many, many more. Honestly, if you are here for the music and want to dance in one of the most legendary nightclubs in Florida, check out Simon's! It's iconic and has had such amazing talent perform there. It is honestly a very magical venue!
