I’ve been coming to Jimmy Johnson’s Big Chill for years, and it never disappoints! Stopped in recently for happy hour while in the Keys, and the experience was fantastic. The Mahi sandwich was perfectly cooked, and the conch fritters were some of the best I’ve had—crispy on the outside and tender inside. The waterfront setting adds to the relaxed, tropical vibe, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Great food, great atmosphere, and consistently excellent service keep me coming back.
We stopped on the way down the Florida keys ,celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. The food was pretty good , fresh , my favorite was the conch fritters, we ordered them twice. The waiter Carlos was great, he and the team went above and beyond to give my bf a birthday treat ; a house-made flan pie, really yummy ! They even sang happy Birthday! :) We will definitely be back.

Best Sunset Views. They had a live band playing rock hits. I highly recommend the Tuna Nachos and Peel Shrimp appetizers and Shrimp Pesto Pizza. For dessert we had key lime pie. The portions are very generous and filling enough for three people. The staff is super friendly and attentive, good vibes. You can enjoy yourself without being rushed. There’s plenty of outdoor seating.
Atmosphere is lively with either indoor or outdoor options. We sat outside right by the water. Fans were blowing keeping the table comfortable in the heat. Food was great and portions were generous. She got the lobster sandwich and I got the mahi tacos. Service was excellent - always someone walking around making sure you are taken care of.
