Longtime, family-owned pub with TVs & a patio that pours suds & dishes familiar bar food till late.
This spot was a great find in a condo highrise next to the Marriott Key Biscayne . After eating at the Marriott more than several times , l spotted this little gem from my room . I thought it was a private restaurant and was happy to find out that it was open to the public . The bartender was very helpful, she walked us out to the table got our orders and gave suggestions. Since we weren’t too hungry , we just had appetizers. I had a beer 🍺 and potato skins that were delicious. My friend had the coconut shrimp . She said it was very good . The crust was crispy and the shrimp was delicious… perfectly cooked . We sat outside with a fantastic view . I will say that there is some type of construction going on , so don’t be surprised that there is a little work zone . Just look past the roped off area and up at the view and stars .
Truly a gem in Miami. My husband brought me home dinner after discovering this place and i literally crave the tomato basil soup and the country fried chicken every week. The tomato soup is honestly the best I’ve ever had, very creamy and rich in flavor and the country chicken you can’t go wrong if you need a good meal. Highly recommend!
Staying at the Marriott Biscayne and needed some food within walking distance. This place showed up on Google Maps. It’s on the 9th floor of an adjacent building. The outside is currently under construction. Food and time to receive food was dismal. Can’t speak on the atmosphere because we were there on 10/11/24 at around 5pm. Small crowd, but I can imagine on weekends it could have potential. Again, food quality and time to get food, not great, staff was friendly. May be better options in the area. We ordered Zingers, a pizza, half and full rack ribs, and a salad.
While visiting Miami, Mike's was recommended. we went on a Friday around 6pm...sat at the bar. The place was nearly empty with 3 or 4 patrons, also sitting at the bar. There were 3 bar tenders. To say the service was poor is a huge understatement. The bar tenders, all female, were busy flirting with 2 other patrons and couldn't be bothered with us. We asked for a menu and eventually a single piece of paper with a few options was given to us. We thought this was pub food and the paper we held had not a thing we desired. We were going to pay for our one drink and leave when we asked one of the bar tenders where me might get a hamburger. She mentioned a fast food place. After about 5 minutes she said "Oh, you know we have hamburgers." She had given us the specials of the day only on that single piece of paper. They had a separate menu with many options. The woman working in the kitchen (possibly an owner?) was quite nice. The food was just OK. BUT...those bar tenders were the worst. Had a very hard time getting a drink at all and not because they were busy. They were VERY loud to the point that I couldn't really talk to my husband at all (one almost cackled). We felt that we were a huge inconvenience to them. We finished up and got out of there as quickly as possible.
genuine and welcoming bar located on the 9th floor, offering stunning views of downtown. An excellent spot for watching sports, complemented by quality food and exceptionally friendly service.
