My friends and I walked in from off the street to get out of the heat, and the staff welcomed us in like family. We picked a seat at the bar and started taking in the atmosphere. There are so many awesome things to look at with a nice and calming playlist in the background that was set at a good volume level to be able to talk to each other without yelling. We quickly got to ordering, and I couldn't be happier with my food. The portions were great for the Caprese salad. The tomatoes were super fresh, and the cheese melted in my mouth like butter in your car on a really hot day. I ordered a bloody marry to go with my food, and it was simple and perfect, just like how I like to think I am on most days (well, at least my mom tells me this.) The staff was super tentative and quick on there feet. Thank you for making my night smooth and wonderful. Keep on kicking you all are awesome.

This was my favorite place while visiting Tampa. The interior design was absolutely epic and the food and service, the same. My bartender was very nice and she recommended a wine I ended up loving. They offer a free shot in exchange for a review here, but I didn’t have one and am writing this review because I genuinely loved my experience. Great music selection too. Played the Cure, one of my favs. Got the Bruschetta (pronounced Brus-K-etta by Italians) which was delicious. I even bought some of their awesome shirts. I’ve included some pics. An absolute hidden gem in Tampa! ✨ La Setima Club blew us away with its cozy vibe, thoughtful plant-based menu, and seriously excellent wine list. Every dish was vibrant and flavorful—elevated without being fussy. Special shoutout to Nikki for the incredible service—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made the whole experience feel extra special. If you’re looking for a spot that pairs natural wines with creative, delicious eats, this place is it. We’ll definitely be back! 🍷🌱

The vibes are immaculate! First time trying this spot and i’m kicking myself for not coming sooner! Food Staff Drinks AMAZING! Love to support smaller spots like this, it felt so comfortable and everything/everyone rocked! Tried some sliders and loaded fries… can’t wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu

We had a wonderful experience at Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux – Tampa (Midtown). The young lady at the front was very friendly and attentive, which set a great tone for our visit. The food was excellent — I highly recommend the Lemon Butter Chicken. I swapped the cheese grits for garlic mashed potatoes, and it was a perfect choice. Overall, everything was delicious, and the service was great. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

This is a regular ol’ lively chain sports bar that throws a little cajun here & a little étouffée there to give the impression it’s New Orleans style food. Food is mid & servers seem overwhelmed on busy nights, but it’s definitely a fun, casual atmosphere with a dog-friendly outside patio to enjoy, and unlike a lot of sports bars, it’s spacious, bright & clean (except the bathrooms). Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Mozzarella logs were quite good & portion was big; hush puppies were awful—over doughy & over cooked; ribeye sliders were good although presentation was not; wings were just ok—I thought they would be out of this world here but they were very much in this world; beer selection basic; very tasty signature cocktails! Prices are fair-ish considering there’s an upcharge for anything in Midtown. Mayyybe go back if I find myself in this plaza looking for a quick, no-frills beer & cheese in log form.

The University Club hosted an outstanding professional awards banquet for the Business Brokers of Florida Tampa Bay District. Georgie was a pleasure to work with—attentive and accommodating, even down to the last-minute details. Nearly every guest ordered steak, and impressively, each one was cooked to perfection and served consistently. It’s no small feat to execute that level of precision at a large event, and the kitchen staff truly delivered.

The views are amazing! Having been a guest in this room as part of a bridal party, I knew mostly what I was expecting. This time, I was there as part of a professional business lunch and had a great time getting to enjoy the views and networking. Highly recommend checking it out! It is especially great if you are local to Tampa as there are many fantastic perks to being a member of their club.

We were absolutely bewitched by the ambiance and atmosphere! Kat and the crew were so warm and welcoming — which is saying something in a place with such a strong spiritual presence. 👻✨ Now, let’s talk about the eats — we kept it classic with chicken fingers, a Cuban, and fries. Even though it was mostly fried food, it wasn’t greasy at all (no ghostly regrets here!). The drink menu has something for every spirit — and those skull glasses? Perfection. 💀🍹 The décor was spooky in all the right ways — eerie, stylish, and totally on theme. Spookeasy definitely lives up to its name. We’ll be haunting this place again soon!

Oh my God! Are you kidding me?! How amazing is this place?! I have never been to a more interesting fun dance lounge. Everything I saw here was just such an art that the only thing you can do is admire and enjoy the atmosphere. They have the coolest installations ever and the music was spot on. Anime playing on the TVs and super nice bartenders. The doorman was super polite and welcoming. I loved this place!

Great spot!! We chanced upon Friendly tavern on a Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed the vibes! The staff was great! And so were the patrons! Lively & fun conversations, nice live music. We enjoyed yummy beers and the Cajun boiled peanuts! They have a pool table & other games. The weather was beautiful too, perfect to sit under the beautiful trees in their outdoor seating area. Fun!!

Came here after an event with a group of friends because it seemed like a chill spot. As I was leaving, a man yelled out in front of everybody a disparaging remark to me. I had been minding my own business with my friends, so I was pretty shocked. Turns out, it was a regular. Not that cool of a spot if women can’t hang out without having to worry about getting made fun of. Super weird.

I couldn’t love this place anymore than I do! The food is incredible but most of all, you’re greeted with an instant friend with Jenny. I HIGHLY recommend Corner Club any time of day.

Jeni makes such good breads. Every visit, I'm as enriched by the conversation and good vibes as I am the coffee and food. She's cultivated an incredibly wholesome environment that does a lot to support the community, and I'm forever grateful that she and the Corner Club exist.

This establishment was quite enjoyable for our first time, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our bartender, Brie, was exceptionally attentive, ensuring our drinks were always full and on spot the whole night. We will return again... Tony N Patty

I was invited to this influencer event by a friend and had an absolute blast! I’ve visited their original location in Wesley Chapel once but it was a far drive after enjoying some drinks. This location is right in Downtown Tampa, so much closer to home! I had no idea their chicken wings won #1 in Tampa Bay and after trying them I know why 🍗🙌 Once inside it’s pretty spacious and vibrant with TVs playing a variety of sports. They have a ton of fun cocktails to choose from, but if you’re looking for something different the bartender can whip up a drink to your preferred taste - thanks Mario!!

Went for brunch with a group of about 40. Yes, we reserved the date for us to be in the outside dining area. They allowed us to have our DJ, dancing, etc. The food was awesome... especially the Avocado Toast. They had a good variety of brunch items, as well as allowing us to bring in desserts. The staff were very attentive and were quick to address anything we needed. Although it was very hot outside, there were ample fans to cool down the covered court. Highly recommend their brunch, inside or out.

Hyde Cabaret absolutely exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was top-notch — classy, energetic, and perfect for a night out. The staff was professional and attentive without being overbearing, and the service was quick even when it got busy. The drinks were crafted perfectly, and the music set the perfect vibe all night. Whether you’re going out with friends or looking for a more upscale spot to unwind, Hyde Cabaret delivers. I’ll definitely be coming back — easily one of the best nightlife spots in the area!

Hands down one of the classiest gentleman’s clubs in town. The atmosphere is upscale, the staff are professional, and everything feels well-managed. Whether you’re here for a night out with friends or entertaining clients, this is the spot. Definitely a standout compared to other clubs in the area.

Jason and Tj are hands down the best. We found this great spot a couple of months ago and it’s our new go to spot for drinks before and after dinner. We walk In they know us by name and know exactly what we’re drinking and make it perfect every time. If you haven’t been here…. Well you need to give it a try. I promise you won’t be Disappointed.

Love this place any day ! After work, or on a day off . The drinks and the vibe is great at the bar, The bartenders are great. I always end up having the bartender with blond and dark hair (Mike maybe?) when I come. Super chill, knows his stuff inside and out, and makes everyone feel welcome the second they sit down or even if it’s busy always at least acknowledged which is nice. I tend to stop in for a quick drink and end up staying way longer to watch him make different drinks and chat with people. The cocktails are always great, his recommendations were on point, and he made it all look effortless. Total pro with zero ego—respect. Would recommend !!

I finally had the opportunity to visit this place on July 4th and had a wonderful time. Met some great new friends, and I drank some fantastic drinks along with the Jolly shots that are presented to you in a Christmas ornament. Drinks were flowing at a fantastic low price and were delicious. Will definitely return with friends very soon.

Best divebar in Tampa! Bartenders I interacted with were amazing. Prices are great and stay with the divebar theme. Met lots of chil and interesting people every visit. Did I mention the whiskey selection? Trey is killing it here.

This place is a hidden gem. Step through the door and be amazed. Seriously fantastic food, great cocktails, awesome atmosphere. It’s your new hangout spot in Ybor, you just don’t know it yet. Had the salmon skewers, the venison skewers, the spicy tuna bowl, all of them just amazing.

This is such a classy joint. In a classy neighborhood. Ybor is like stepping back in time with lots of beautifully restored red brick buildings. Stepping into The Copper Shaker is also a step back in time with a sumptuously designed interior. You know you’re in a great cocktail bar when theres a ladder behind the bar! The selection of spirits is top drawer and in every category there’s something for everyone, and at every price point. The cocktails are fantastic and take pride of place on a chalkboard on the back bar. I didn’t get to eat anything while there but everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious.

I love the history there. It's probably more affordable than most venues and locals should book their event there as there are signs of aging and hurricane damage behind the scenes. It is still absolutely beautiful! They include bar service and the entire event team is great. The manager Tiffany is absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Book this space and ask for Tiffany!

Wmnf is really the' Best little radio station on the planet " and their annual event at the Historically famous Cuban Club and is one for music lovers of all genres.

Henderson’s has a great atmosphere and is a really great bar! I love coming here. I got to meet the owner, Matt, and he was super cool. You can tell everyone loves coming here. Gianna is the best bartender! She was the best. Definitely coming back again and again!! Trivia on Tuesday’s

Great place to eat and drink Great service good prices!! This was just half the size of the monstrosity of my Caesar chicken wrap!!! Onion rings were amazing!!! Owner came out to also greet us great atmosphere definitely felt welcomed. Map to the owner and thank you so much for having the cowboy game on for us. I really appreciate it. Look forward to the rest of the season there.!!!

This bar is great for friends hanging out during the day or night time. The bartenders were attentive and we enjoyed playing shuffleboard, which was only $2 for 15 minutes. They also have pool tables and multiple steel tip dartboards. I would definitely go back!

Cool in the Abstract. If you want a proper cocktail in a proper pub, this place is it. Somehow they mix the feeling of a place for locals only that is glad to have non-locals show up. Great cocktails with better bartenders. The seating is comfy casual, the music inviting, and the bar games well maintained. This is a GO TO place epitomizes when in Tampa.

Definitely a historic landmark in Tampa. Living in Tampa, for the past 32 years, I was able to visit the original location quite a bit through the mid to late ‘90s. It still has the same gritty feel, colorful, but friendly bartenders, and eclectic patrons. Drinks start out strong and only get stronger the better you tip. Be aware, it is cash only.

If you're looking for a classic dive bar, look no further. Cash only. Stiff drinks. Great service. The place is definitely dated but it was not dirty like a lot of other divey spots. The only thing missing that I expected to find was a cigarette machine.

Customers are so fun and the atmosphere is energetic. I did not order food, so I can't comment on that. Music is mainstream, but upbeat. Service could use some improvement. Not sure why, but the evening shift bartenders seemed to be more on the ball. Probably why they are on shift when the place is busier. Expect to give your cc to the bartender for the duration of toy want to open a tab. Personally, I chose to pay cash. Seriously, keeping credit cards / debit cards behind the bar is asinine. But if you have no problem with strangers "holding on to" your cards that's on you. Bad Monkey, think about reforming your tab policy. Good God, Europe has respected its consumer's financial integrity by using handheld wireless kiosks for the past decade, along with most Tampa establishments. Not blaming the bartenders, it's totally a management problem. Just a suggestion...If you wouldn't give your card to a stranger on the street... Why would you trust the people behind the bar? Seriously, the staff are probably honest and respectful, but why take the chance? Bathrooms have disgusting air dryers... iykyk.

Spent the afternoon walking around Ybor City and stopped in to have a beer and chat with the bartender. It was on a Monday so the place was empty but it was still a very nice experience. The bar tender was extremely nice and the beer was served ice cold. This place has a cool atmosphere and and even cooler story of hot it started. Be sure to make a stop here on your trip out here

Morgan’s Cove is a hidden gem that is right in Downtown Tampa. This pirate themed speakeasy has a cool theme with real pirate artifacts. They offer many drink options and even mocktails. There are a few food options, as well. Service was great and attentive. There’s street parking available. I would recommend going on a weekday or going early once they open. I’ve seen the line for this place wrap around the building.

A great authentic tiki bar. Entering through a nondescript door and through a hidden bookshelf, you enter into a pirate ships galley with a great bar. They served all of the tiki classics and riffs. Their rum barrel was excellent as well as the serpent's fangs. Their pandan killer is great if you want something on the sweeter side, and their Saturn is good for a lighter cocktail. Drinks easily 8.5-9/10 Ambiance - 10/10 The only small knock was the limited rum list but overall a fabulous experience as far as tiki bar is go. A must stop tiki spot on the Gulf coast. 5/5 will be back again next time I'm in town.

Such a vibe!! Tampa was missing an actual nightclub that plays club music that you can dance & vibe too. It has two floors that alternate music genres throughout the weekend. they also host various events- literally a day/night for everyone. 10/10 place to be at in tampa

Honestly, this place is always a good time. Staff is super friendly and energetic, music is great, and there’s different floors with different vibes if you want some variety. The best bottle service in downtown and overall a great spot to end the night.

Stopped in for lunch before our hotel room was ready. The food was amazing and the service was great. Cheese Curds and the sauces were very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The pork burger was an interesting blend. I was not sure what to expect, but it works perfectly together. Well worth the stop.

Fantastic sports bar! Tons of tables and TVs. Perfect spot for picking up some good bar food and watching the game with friends or family. Everything on the menu is just as described. We had wings, spinach artichoke dip and even tried their filet. Fried calamari and house made onion rings were awesome! Everything was served hot and tasted great. Reasonable prices and good portions. Friendly servers. Don't forget to order an IPA in a half yard glass!!

The Blind Goat – Great Spot for Food, Drinks & Fun! The Blind Goat is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a good time. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great value whether you're grabbing a meal or just some drinks. They also have pool tables and other entertainment options, which add to the fun vibe. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a casual spot to eat, hang out, and unwind.

The Blind Goat is a fun local FSU bar. They host fun weekly events like bingo and trivia. The food is incredible! Pizzas are delicious and the apps are all fantastic. Be sure to check the drink special and food special of the day. The bartenders and servers are friendly and attentive. A great place to hangout in South Tampa!

Excelent place to have a couple of cocktails well made and delicious. The place has a very good vibe with great songs played and delight decoration. YOU MUST STOP THERE AND HAVE A DRINK.

This place is a true gem in the Seminole Heights area. The craft cocktails are truly special & the bartenders are great! You cannot beat the $8 espresso martinis on Sundays & Wednesday happy hour. The atmosphere is hip & fun with a nice outdoor seating area. If you haven't yet been, treat yourself to Mandarin Heights!

Wow! That bar got tagged! Bar games, value priced drinks, a seasoned bouncer, a men's room without a door, and a crowd that doesn't give a hoot. Yep, you will spend whatever end at the deep end ..

Went in there for a good time, there was a bartender. Tall, with white hair. He clearly hates women since he treated me like absolute trash when all I wanted was a drink. Very poor attitude and clearly should not be working behind a bar. If youre looking to have a good time I would not recommend this bar at all.

Small place. I would call it a sports bar but I could never understand what the theme was for this place since original visit in 2016. Unusual menu that is not printed you have scan a QR code. Full liquor bar. Duck wings? The food is a little higher end than you would expect.

Ordered the steak tips (you get to pick how you want them cooked) so good! Blue cheese was throwing me off but it actually blended so well. Ordered the short rib flatbread and would recommend that also! Extra cheesy. I’m confused about the “backyard” though bc there’s barely any outside space. Yeoman's is a fun place to stop in for any occasion. They have a nice selection of cocktails, wines, and beer. I ordered the fish n' chips, and my wife ordered the stuffed Englishman. Both were excellent. The biggest surprise was the appetizer; the Cambridge Wings in coconut curry sauce. They were moist and juicy and some of the best wings I have ever tried.

I had the best experience in the Tampa location. Food was AMAZING. The atmosphere was really fun and inviting, and the golf was really fun. Many options of games. Shuffle board was great. Wings tasted so good and the seafood mac n cheese was amazing. Will be back. The manager was also very friendly and welcoming while we visited.

Wow! What a great restaurant. We love pub grub anyway, but World of Beer absolutely knocked it out of the park. The Blueberry IPA draught was fantastic. The fish and chips was scrumptious. The fish was battered light and flaky, the fish itself was very flavorful, and the side of pickles was icing on the cake. The sweet and hot pepperoni flatbread was to die for. The perfect blend of sweet and hot. The crust was crunchy, but not overdone at all - it was perfect. Honestly the best meal we've had at any brew pub ever, hands down. The menu is very diverse and I believe there is something on there for everyone. World of Beer is an easy 5 star rating! Oh yeah, the service? Impeccable!

My boyfriend loves this place! On game day they had $3 chicken/burger sliders. The pretzel was amazing with the mustard and cheese. Lots of good beers to choose from, especially a local wheat beer with blueberries in it. Ladies there are ciders and $8 house cocktails 😉The staff was very friendly and seated us quickly :)

I saw an image of the garlic wings and knew I had to get them. They were cooked well and had a very good flavor! I also got the Grouper Nuggets and they were super tasty! 10/10 would go again for sure! The sports bar has a ton of tvs and many tables but with it being in downtown, there is the possibility for it to be packed! I would love to come here to watch a game, im sure the atmosphere would be insane on game days! The service was awesome, my waitress was Michala and she was amazing. Very attentive and made sure to check on me even with a packed house.

Visiting Tampa during the American Legion Convention. Decided to try Hattricks. Our server Marissa was great. Drinks and food came out really fast and well prepared. Only reason for 4 stars on food was they use frozen fries. It was very busy, about 25 minute wait. But very nice we definitely recommend this place

Tried the Anchor Grilled Chicken sandwich, added bacon...if they only had Bleu cheese crumbles it would have definitely been one of the beat sandwiches I've had in a long time!!!!!!

The service was great! Our Hot flavored bone in wings didn’t have much flavor. I do recommend getting the Cajun fries. The small side of fries is good for two people.

Had a great time watching the NBA playoffs. The waiter was knowledgeable & friendly. The burger, ribs & wings were all fantastic. Drink specials also were on point. I will definitely return.

First time there for the Giants Gane and had a great experience with the Giants Fan Club. However the server that I had from UPSTATE New York started with a K was a little sarcastic for her own good. Amazing place to eat and watch sports! Beautiful outdoor seating with fans (and heaters in the 'winter') plenty of TVs to watch sports and super clean! The inside is also super clean with plenty of TVs, a bar you can sit at, and everyone is super friendly! All of the food we have had is amazing and comes out quickly!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stopped by Miller’s Ale House on West Columbus Dr. and had an awesome experience. I ordered the broiled salmon with fries and cheesy broccoli, and everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The salmon was cooked perfectly — tender and well-seasoned — and the cheesy broccoli was honestly the star of the plate. Comfort food done right. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed but upbeat. Great spot to grab a solid meal whether you’re flying solo or out with friends. I’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend this location!

Service was outstanding. Kristin was friendly and everything you hoped to have in a bartender/server. Food was very good, onion rings crunchy, and ribs fantastic. Cheese steak sandwich could have more cheese but still very tasty. We will definitely be back.

We came from out of town to Flex, and let me tell you — Ladia did NOT disappoint! Sis was professional, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the jump. Her energy was everything — warm, real, and on point. You can tell she knows her stuff and actually cares about the people she’s working with. If you’re in town and looking for someone who’s gonna treat you right and keep it 100, go see Ladia. She’s THAT girl. 💯👏🏾

1st time here; the place was so much bigger than we anticipated. Lots of TVs, games and space to entertain. I’m positive this place is happening during football! The food was very good! Portions were on point! Wings ordered were medium, a little hotter than expected but so yummy we were told. The burger was cooked perfectly. The salad was a very good size. Only downside was we weren’t checked on at all until after the meals were half eaten to being completely finished, we all had to wait on drink refills.

This was my first time here. A local bar that’s open late. Drinks that are cheep and it looks like they have specials all the time. Will be stopping by more often.

This club was a whole vibe no lie…. BUT BE VERY VERY VERY ALERT! The bartenders will slip something in your drink! In the process now of getting with the owner because it’s been going on far to long and in spoken of! My Drink got spiked and had me out of it! I only had 3 drinks the whole night and ended up in the hospital. I’m 300 pounds and a drinker. The Bartender is a brown skin handsome guy with golds be very very very cautious and always have a friend. Someone took my friends car keys and cost us $600 for a new one. They wouldn’t let us back in the club to even look for them. Very shady I wondered why it wasn’t as many people there. And the way they are super friendly I would’ve never expected something so bad to happen to me! I’m not letting this rest!

This spot was lit from the moment I walked in! Wall-to-wall energy, awesome crowd, and management that knows how to keep the vibes high. Drinks hit just right—strong, smooth, and priced so good you’ll want another round. In Tampa, this is the place to turn up—why go anywhere else?

We went to Brick House Tavern + Tap for happy hour and ordered just about every appetizer—and it was so worth it! The fried deviled eggs were awesome, but the knockout shrimp is a must-try. Don’t come here and skip it. We also tried the deer wings (unique and tasty), the meatballs (incredible—highly recommend), and the queso dip. The queso was good and nice and thick, though it cooled off pretty quickly. For drinks, I had the green tea cocktail (an alcoholic drink) and it was great—smooth and refreshing. We had a large table, and our waitress was very attentive, making sure we were all taken care of. Overall, a fantastic happy hour spot with great food, great drinks, and great service. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Tampa. Check it out!

Looking for somewhere different, kid friendly while in town. Glad we stopped here! Food was absolutely delicious. Burgers were amazing! Whatever their sauce is, it's fantastic! Service was great, friendly, and fast. Fried devil eggs and mozzarella bricks were great.

Kay is the most amazing and fun bartender in all of Tampa. This place has a great vibe and the rooftop view is beautiful.

Very great place to hangout, drink and dance to good music. This place had great drinks wait staff were really good the music selection was really good as well. If your looking for a place with great drinks and very good music keep you moving all night visit here you'll thank me later.

I can’t say enough good things about The Ritz Ybor! From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make sure our experience was smooth, stress free, and enjoyable. What really stood out to me is how accommodating they were with my 1-year-old. Instead of turning us away, they welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable and safe in the VIP section in case the GA area got too crowded. That level of kindness and flexibility is rare, and it made the night so much more special. The atmosphere was incredible, the venue was beautiful, and the staff showed true professionalism mixed with genuine care. Use false advertisement to sell tickets and rushed the show due to double booking shows. Never had a bad experience here till the Freddie Gibbs tour that they said The Alchemist joined. They announced on all socials and updated tour posters. As it got closer to the show i noticed they removed The Alchemists name from the posters yet didnt address him not performing. At show time Freddie Gibbs says hes not here. Had the venue been honest over selling tickets i would have gone to the Orlando show where he did infact perform. Not only this, but they had a show at 10pm so we got a 30 minute rushed set from Gibbs where he kept saying we dont have much time. What a dissapointment. Will start just going to Janus Live, Orpheum, or Orlando and never support this one.

If you are not a regular, I would steer clear from this bar. As a dive bar connoisseur, I can say that this is one of those places where you walk in and people aren't very friendly. Sure, the wait staff is fine enough for a hospitality industry, but it's quite apparent that they favor the local regulars. The place has all the makings of a good dive bar, but you end up feeling like a burden instead of a welcomed customer. Bottled beer only. Smoking outside only. Tourists beware.

Vonnie was my bartender and she made the whole experience. Friendly, quick with the beers, and just the right attitude to make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. If you're in Tampa and want a real bar with real people, The Hole in the Wall is the spot.

We were introduced to this place by our friend who comes here every weekend and we are so happy we got to experience this place! We drove over 3 hours and we got to party at the best goth club I’ve ever been to. The music and vibes here are awesome and there are so many cool people to meet and dance with. There is even a whipping station as well as two bars.

I went here with some friends as the DD person. This is a very popular location, so prepare for it to be very busy and packed all night. It's definitely an alt club- with adult entertainment, especially upstairs. A lot of people enjoyed that as a feature. There were a ton of different kinds of people there with a lot of different outfits and styles. Very diverse which was great to see. There was a great energy and vibe there. To get inside, it is *cash only*- so be prepared to pay the cover charge in cash, and have your ID ready. I brought soft earplugs- because it was very loud- id recommend this if you have sensitivity to loud noises like I do. There are 3 different bars inside- but I'm not sure of the prices or the kind of drinks they have, and I don't know the prices. They did have bottled water. I did see an atm on the second floor but it was out of service. Upstairs was playing EDM/Techno, and downstairs was playing more mainstream clubbing music. Each floor had places to sit and rest or placs to put your drink. It also had some really interesting erotic style artwork as well. I think the first floor was smoking friendly. The staff was great at keeping people moving so that walkways didn't get crowded. I never felt unsafe while I was there. Parking was rough- but that's not something I'd knock stars off of the club for. It gets really busy in that area- and there are a lot of bars, restaurants and night clubs, so be prepared to spend 10-20 minutes finding a spot.

Great vibe and upscale environment. Drinks were excellent however not a lot of punch options if you have coconut allergies. Still, servers were attentive with recommendations. I would definitely go back. I would recommend that you eat before you go as they do not serve food/snacks.

I want to start off by saying that the Punch Room is an acquired taste. Yes, this is the only one in North America and the other would be in London. With that being said, I feel like you need to know what you are getting into. I personally did not exactly enjoy the different punches they offered, but the welcome punch of the evening happened to be my favorite. I personally am more of a whiskey or bourbon neat kinda guy, but figured I should try the punch anyway... Guess that might have been my fault 🤷🏻‍♂️ Now, they do have a very extensive selection of top shelf spirits and are more than willing to make you whatever you want. The ambiance and decor make it a relaxing environment to enjoy a good drink. It's a very low key vibe but you can definitely dress to impress. They do not serve food here at all, but I would say this is a great place for an after dinner drink... Like, when you want to wind down.

20yrs ago I used to say their wings were the best and their potato skins too. Our first visit in 15yrs and the quality has gone WAY down. It might be another 15 until we come back. Sad when this used to be my Monday night football hangout from 1997-2001 when I was stationed at MacDill. Maybe coming here around 3 on a non-game Sunday had them off THEIR game. SERVICE was good but I think they stopped putting green onions on the skins like 15yrs ago because of an ecoli scare in Arizona and they STILL haven't put them back on the skins. Time to start bringing them back guys.

Great rooftop bar in the heart of Tampa, great view and even better drinks. It wasn't crowded when we went and the weather was perfect. The bartender was a nice fellow who taught me about some cocktails. I recommend the Old Fashioned with Woodward Reserve Kentucky Bourbon. Best I've ever had!

Great atmosphere and a nice place for a small party. Not much of a beer selection but my New York Sour was delicious. Must walk all the way through the hotel lobby, past the downstairs bar, down the long hall and around the corner to find the elevator in the back that will take you to the 4th floor rooftop bar

went in with a girlfriend of mine, sat at the bar, & got ignored for almost 5 minutes (while the bartenders were AT the bar) as some guy who was also there proceeded to tell us we should probably leave because there’s no real liquor here. we were gonna drinks beers anyway but the combination of being ignored, being told that everything is wine based & we “won’t want it”, plus the putrid smell of cigarettes that stained our clothes and left me coughing like a cat with a hairball - it was way past time to go. of course, as we left the bartenders then and only then spoke. but honey, it was too late at that point! steer clear fam.

Fantastic pub with friendly staff very close to Tampa airport. They have karaoke on Fridays and painting nights on Saturdays, and offer snacks and frozen food in addition to drinks. It is a smoking bar, so keep that in mind. Highly recommend overall.

Johnson’s is one of my favorite places to go. It a place like no other. The staff are so welcoming as soon as you enter the door. The dancers you have so many great dancers and bartenders. My favorite bartender is Juan. No matter if we were there last week or a month ago Juan knows your order and is such a professional in his job. He will keep your drinks coming all night long and is a great conversationalist. All around a great guy. If you have not met Juan go meet him at Johnson’s and tell him I said hello.

Johnsons has the hottest Stripper guys in Tampa. They don't serve food, but the drinks are great and reasonably priced. The bartender Juan is very friendly and nice to look at. There are around 15 different stripper guys every time I go. They are friendly and will talk to you. There is no pressure to give them money, but usually I tip them $1.00. I love it there and the guys are to drool for! Some nights there is a cover charge.

Such a fun spot! Had a great experience during the Cinco De Mayo bar crawl this past Friday! Great live music and awesome atmosphere. Will definitely check out again next time I’m in Tampa!

I am an old schooler and there are not many bars like this left in Tampa the best prices hands down for beers wine and seltzer, unfortunately if you know this place they have two pool tables,the bartenders are always very accommodating I believe ones name is Mike, Pool prices are very good the only thing I think they should allow smoking inside but that's me I am a cigar smoker the parking can be a little challenging at times but good for them and they have a good food truck outside that is reasonably priced and good service me and my friends have been going here for years and will continue

Kasey at Tiny Tap was completely out of line. The second I walked in, she shouted across the bar demanding my ID for everyone to hear — zero respect, zero professionalism. When I handed her my 100% valid ID, she looked at it and decided it wasn’t real, then kicked me out based on nothing but her judgment. To top it off, I had just ordered tacos from the food truck outside. They told me I could eat them inside, but Kasey still refused to let me in. I don’t know if I was profiled because I’m a young Arab man. Profiling isn’t okay, and if that’s how Tiny Tap chooses to treat people, it says a lot about the place in my opinion

Found this little gem after a day at Busch Gardens and couldn’t be happier! Friendly staff, affordable, beers, pool tables, and other sports bar games. Lots of TVs to watch live sports and great music. My only complaint is that it’s not in Saint Pete.🤪 We will definitely be back to watch the lightning, the Bucks, play some trivia and just hang out with really awesome people.

The atmosphere was great. Our waitress Makkaylah was very nice and attentive. The food was really good. My husband has the Cuban minus the salami and I had the Cobb Salad with Honey Mustard dressing and grilled blackened chicken. The items were made very well and very tasty!! This is a great place to eat at.

Stopped by Tampa Joe’s hoping for a late night vibe, but it didn’t live up to the hype. The place looks like it should be solid — plenty of TVs, decent space — but the experience fell short. Service was slow even though the place wasn’t packed. Took almost 15 minutes just to get waters, and food took over 40 minutes to arrive. When it did, the burgers were lukewarm and soggy, not robust like you’d expect from a place that advertises itself as a go-to for sports fans. Just was passable but nothing special. Drinks were fine, but nothing stood out — standard drafts, overpriced cocktails that didn’t taste like much. Quiet enough to make conversation awkward , but somehow the game audio was barely audible. Kind of defeats the purpose of a sports bar. There might be a good night to catch this place on, but based on my visit, it felt like they were coasting on the fact that they’re one of the few options in the area. Not a total disaster, but definitely not in a rush to go back.

Go when they have the DJ there the music is definitely dance worthy and the vibes were so good. Servers are quick with taking orders and checking in. Drinks are pretty good as well we had the adult capri sun and the pop rocks drink

What a great find! After going to the bar a few doors up selling many different beer options we sat there for ages being ignored at the bar and decided to leave! Then found Gen X tavern! Wish we had found it earlier as we then spent the next two nights of what was left of our holiday from the UK in there, great food and a good choice of drinks, the barman was top notch and on the ball the minute you walk in.

Well thought this was gonna be a fun place for my girl and I to grab a drink. Immediately while the bouncer was checking our ID's a guy at the bar tried to pull my girl into the bar. That was very strange and she didn't like that. So we grabbed a drink and ignored that strange situation that just took place. Also tried to hop on the pool tables and was given the run around that's normal for bars but not in that unfriendly way. Hope we just chose the wrong night to go here.

First visit our waiter was great, we enjoyed our passionfruit margaritas, plenty of delicious food. We will return.

Great atmosphere and a true Colombian-style club. Great drinks and gorgeous bartenders. It gets very crowded after 11 pm, so arrive early. The entrance fee is $10 for men and women. Overall, we had a great time, and everyone was very respectful; security doesn't play around and will remove anyone disrespecting women or causing problems.

I came into this bar with a group of friends to play darts and support a local spot, but we were met with unnecessary hostility from the bartender, Jeremy. My friend had just turned 21 a week ago and brought his valid ID, which Jeremy questioned and then demanded a second form of ID with both name and date of birth. Despite showing credit cards, a student ID, and even offering a photo of his passport, Jeremy rudely dismissed everything, insisting on a physical copy of a passport, which is unrealistic to carry on a night out. While we understand the importance of verifying age, there’s a respectful way to do it — and Jeremy made it clear he didn’t want us there from the start. He was unprofessional, condescending, and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for no reason. We weren’t being loud or rowdy — just wanted to play darts and enjoy the night. It’s disappointing to be treated so poorly at what’s supposed to be a welcoming neighborhood dive bar. We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back and respectful environment

Sad happy hour but great deals on solid bar food with decent beer lineup. BYOA. Bring your own atmosphere. 3.5 stars ✨ Came here for happy hour on a weekday. Sat at the bar. Love that they have an opened up storefront with comfortable inside & outside seating. Not much going on. Music was tuned to snooze FM unfortunately, which would explain why other establishments with “a vibe” had more life. Bartender with um “interesting haircut” & shorts offered attentive, friendly service although he struggled to describe some menu items. Great deals for happy hour. Beer was almost cold enough. Sliders & chip dip trio were delicious actually. Buffalo chicken flatbread was awful! We were thinking buffalo chicken on a normal flatbread with a little dressing drizzle. It’s more of a flatbread with buffalo sauce topped with plain chicken & way too much dressing. We tasted one square & could not bear to eat any of the rest. Sticky menus & silverware could use a little cleaning & polishing. Really good value overall. Would go back for happy hour to try some of the many other options.

So this review is a mixed bag. The place is nice, the food was REALLY good. The service is a joke. Bartender wasn’t exactly warm which would be fine, if I didn’t have to ask for everything like water, another drink, to put in a food order, etc. It’d be nice if she didn’t disappear at times. It also would’ve been nice to not blatantly try to rob me. I ask how much is a double of your well vodka, apparently they don’t sell well vodka doubles 🙄 so they only sell the more expensive brand Deep Eddy, and it’s $9 a double. Except on my bill they’re $12. Great. I order the $12.99 lunch that has a tomato basil soup, hot honey chicken sandwich and fries, and you get an order of mini doughnuts for dessert. Except she decides instead of ringing up the lunch, she’ll ring it up as a $7.75 soup, and a $15.75 hot honey sandwich, and not even ring up the doughnuts. Then I ask her why my bill is $50 when it should be like $31 and apparently $9 was for a single even though I asked about a double, and then she just blatantly tried to rob me on the other stuff because I specifically asked “does the $12.99 lunch special come with fries” she says yes then suddenly thinks I want to pay double for less food. Never got my doughnuts. This woman is straight up robbing people because she did that thing guilty people do when you stop talking after catching them, and they just keep talking, and adding more BS to try and drown out the silence. WILL NEVER BE BACK and it’s a damn shame cuz that hot honey sandwich was FIRE, the fries were great, and the tomato soup is bangin too. Damn shame.

Went to Vixen Friday Nov. 15. We had been there before and with no charge for the booths for us as a couple. On this night we went in and went to the booths and while we were entering one, the guy who was on duty came back and said out loud and rudely, that we needed to pay $20 in order to enter that part of the store. We mentioned that we had never paid before and he said we had to pay. I told my partner that I had never heard of that and that Fantasyland on Lois ave. doesn't charge for couples. So we left without any further words and so did two other guys. And by the way, we had one of the guys offer to pay our $20 but we refused. I will not pay when we are the attraction. We won't be back unless there is a change in policy for couples. Could this be the reason the place was so empty on a Friday night? Russ Last night. After learning that they charge for couples I have been in their establishment for the last time. There are too many places in town that don't require an entrance fee for couples. We left there and went to three places that allow couples in at no charge. HEY VIXEN, COUPLES ARE YOUR DRAW. My husband and I like going here for salsa dancing. There is comfortable seating, good, and appetizer options. It is geared to a more mature crowd. The music is excellent. We barely go dancing anymore because of the DJs lack of knowledge of what good salsa for dancing is. Not all salsa has the right rhythm for good dancing. Some is just for listening while hanging out and not good for dancing. Not the case here. They play salsa classics that salseros love to dance to. We always have fun here.

How do you charge customers entrance when there is no one in your nightclub at 11:30pm and you no longer have the kitchen open. This place use to be so much fun. Time to close shop guys.

The view was the main reason we went eat here. It was a beautiful view. The food is why we would go back. Fish was delicious. The beer batter was done just right. The tartar sauce tasted as if it was made in house. The shrimp and scallops were fried great as well. The waitress did a good job and kept checking in. Definitely worth stopping in and trying.

This is one of the absolute most fun restaurants we visited on our trip to Tampa! A really nice, sit down restaurant with good food and good vibes. It was the only place we went back to for seconds! It was quite busy both times we went, so be sure to make a reservation and plan ahead for valet parking. With those taken care of, however, we were seated immediately! The service is great and the view is spectacular! As far as the food is concerned, highly recommend the gator bites as an appetizer! After that, the fish and chips was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the sandwiches are top notch! Big portions and reasonable prices, especially for such a nice restaurant! The only thing that we felt was over-priced were the cocktails. For $10 - $15 each, they tasted like Smirnoff iced and buzz ball. Good, but expensive for what it was. Overall, a wonderful experience and will keep an eye out anytime I'm in Florida to see if one is nearby!

First time going for my 40th birthday, Plies all white 40 and up day party. Everything was ok, it was the misunderstanding about the VIP tickets and wondering why our party kept having to move as if we paid regular prices! It was embarrassing and had my party ready to leave early. We stayed because that was the agenda to celebrate my sister and I for our birthday. One of the bouncers was sooo rude when they made us move for the third time, when we only simply asked why all the movement when we've paid for VIP tickets, not knowing we had to buy a section to be seated with a bottle.

Was a 10 min wait to get in at the rope. No cover charge. A single tequila pineapple cocktail was $18. First and second floor were cool. Third was VIP. Fourth was shoulder to shoulder packed. 5th floor was nothing but people smoking blunts on the roof to reggaeton! Vibe was hype! Loved the giant cages for dancers. The chandeliers are so pretty too! Was my first time there and I will def. Be back!

I went on a Friday night with my husband they had a bachata class that we took. I liked the crowd, the people were about 30 years old and older with no drama. The music was great playing mostly bachata and salsa. I will definitely be going back.

SUCH A FUN SPOT! I can’t rave enough about Alter Ego. The short wait to get in is more than worth it. The vibes are immaculate, the drinks are on point, and the whole place just feels good. Inside, it’s dimly lit with a cozy, mid-century modern vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The music set the mood perfectly — a mix of early 2000s classics and fresh favorites that kept the energy high without being overbearing. We kicked things off with the espresso martini shot — honestly, genius. It’s the perfect way to start the night, smooth and delicious. After that came the Gucci Mane Lemonade — loved it. The fact that all the drinks are named after artists makes you want to try the whole menu. My favorite though? The Drake Passionfruit with tequila. Hands down my go-to moving forward. Refreshing, balanced, and exactly what I want in a cocktail. If you’re looking for somewhere fun, clean, modern, trendy, and just all-around amazing in Tampa, you have to check this place out. And do yourself a favor: grab dinner next door at Ash first — that spot is a 10/10 too.

I love the vibes here set not only by the decor and drink menu, but also by the DJ and amazing staff. The bartenders were all so quick and friendly, Daniel the manager was super friendly, helpful, and approachable I personally loved the Lemonade by Gucci Mane. My partner loved the passionfruit tequila drink. I was enjoying every second of my experience here. Well worth the wait. Will definitely be back asap. This bar is PERFECT for Ybor! Southern Nights Tampa closed a couple months and this is a much larger and elevated version of it. It's two stories with two large dance floors. The music depends on the night and DJ, but they play hip-hop, electronic, or circuit music. The decor is nice too. What makes a bar a good bar is the staff and management. I've known most of them for years and they're always great. I'm sure it'll be my new home. Check it out!

Came back out here to see Velvet’s feature show. I hadn’t been back since the renovations. Was not disappointed one bit! The place looks like a whole vibe!

Dan with security is the best person you could ask for to not only great you but keep everyone safe. Not only is the management fantastic but the girls are fantastic and the atmosphere is perfect. Had an amazing experience here during my night out in Tampa. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between classy and lively. Great music, friendly staff, and dancers who were not only stunning but genuinely engaging. The service was smooth, the drinks were strong, and the whole place had an easy, welcoming vibe. Every quarter, I take a group of friends and visit this club to have a nice dinner. They have always been spot on with their burgers, steaks and sides. However this time, the food was definitely not up to par like it was in the past. They must have changed chefs. The meal this time was disappointing! The 20 ounce steak was more like 12 ounces. The steak also came out like warm. The seasoning was nothing special to write home about. The sides were small and bland, definitely not worth the price. Overall, they need to step up with the food and also improve on the value for the price that you pay. I don’t think I will come back until there is something special that would make me want to come back. I really hope they do improve as I always enjoy the place to visit.

Do not use a credit card at the VIP room, they pull out all of the scams. I was told my credit card got declined and so they asked for a different card and so I gave it to them. Now 3 days later I am officially charged on both cards (both transactions officially posted) and they added tip money on both. Never again

Great vibe! DJ played hits all night. Cheap drinks but good quality! Friendly staff! Made my last night in Tampa worth it!!

A Tampa staple, one of the best clubs there. One the the bartenders, Lauren, is always friendly and attentive. The ladies there are also best of Tampa, particularly Pamela, she’s one of the best around. I’ve never had a bad time there.

This club is all style, zero substance. The lights? Perfect. The music? On point. The ambiance? Couldn’t ask for better. But the dancers? They must’ve missed the memo that couples are also paying customers. We sat there and watched, table after table, as they bounced from guy to guy like it was speed dating—skipping us every single time. Honestly, if we wanted to feel invisible, we could’ve stayed home and argued with our Wi-Fi router. It’s almost impressive how consistently we were ignored, like they were running some kind of “no couples allowed” experiment. Newsflash: couples usually spend double, but this crew couldn’t care less. Bottom line? Great venue wasted on dancers who treat couples like decorations.

Came here for Techno Night in June and will never come back to this venue. 1. There was an 18% gratuity added to drinks that I was only notified about until AFTER selecting a tip amount on the handheld POS. I don’t mind an automatic gratuity for a special event night, but it’s SCUMMY to not clearly notify customers about it before ordering. 2. I ordered a vodka & cranberry which came in a small cup that could probably only hold 7 ounces total. The drink was extremely weak, couldn’t event taste the liquor. For a cup that small, if the pour was standard (~1.5 ounces liquor) I should be able to taste the vodka easily. 3. The men’s room had no soap and no doors on the stalls. Absolutely disgusting. I asked staff if there was another bathroom with stalls and he just shrugged. So if if a male needed a private stall, what are they supposed to do? Go in the women’s room which already had a line? I get that this a college bar but this place is just screams scams and poor business.

I just LOVE coming here!! The vibes are always high and the music is always so fun. I love all the bartenders they are so nice!! Especially Reese! And Jordan is the best bottle girl ever, I always have so much fun on the tables!!! Super cheap drinks and the best shots ever! Love me a loopy shot.

Good music. BUT they charged 40 dollars to get in. The entertainment supposed to start at midnight then told not until 2am. AND then no seating unless you reserved a table. So you lost 40 dollars. AND the drinks 🍸 are to high. I will not recommend this place.

paid a reasonable $40 cover to see Dej Loaf perform and went with the standard $250 bottle in our section. The club has clearly been renovated recently—it has a nice vibe with character, and the VIP sections are spacious and comfortable. Navigating the club floor can be a hassle when the place is packed, but that’s to be expected on a big night. Parking isn’t bad either—you can find spots across the street and walk over, or pay $10–$20 to park right next to or behind the club. Bartenders were on point all night, and the drinks at the bar were well-made. Solid experience overall.

If I could give zero stars, I would. It is not a safe place at all, I do not recommend going here at all. My daughter was choked and dragged out of the establishment by a bottle girl named Shelby. My daughter is a university student who was there with her friends, the bottle girl was aggressive, assuming my daughter picked up money from the floor that was thrown around by other patrons (this place resembles a raunchy strip club). My daughter came home with bruises and scratches on her neck. When we asked to see the video footage, the club said "there are too many people in the club to see anything." Therefore, you are not safe here, they will not protect you, nor will they even try to protect you. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS CLUB.

Great place to hang out with friends for a social night. They continued coming back to our table to ensure we had enough drinks, bottles, ice, and mixers. Was very pleasant here. Would go again.

First visit will definitely be back get time bartender very friendly out going and helpful and got a couple of dances they were both amazing. Low pressure and all the women are gorgeous came in the day time. Can't say enough good thing about this place.

I would like to say thank you to the gentleman at the front door, and the ladies ,we took a group of men individuals with disabilities to this establishment for one of the guys birthday. Myself and 2 other female staff. They were very welcoming, helped us tremendously. Gave a birthday shout out several times over the big speaker to our special guy on his birthday. We all enjoy a nice meal it too was very good the drinks we had were non alcoholic. The ladies acknowledged our individuals, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The music was great, and so were the ladies dancing. Our waiter was very helpful also. I would like to thank you for hospitality it made our individuals day very happy.
