High-energy, late-night gathering place featuring guest DJs, dance parties & live bands.
Tried the new MJQ location for the first time last night. I freakin’ loved it! The layout of the place is so cool. Multiple rooms and levels to dance in with different music. So many bars to get drinks. I didn’t have to wait for anything. They decorated the place great. Parking was super easy in the parking deck for $15 then just follow the signs. Purchase tickets days in advance or you will have to stand in a long line. I purchased mine on a Monday for a Saturday visit. Coat check is available for $5. Staff was very friendly and pointed me in the right direction for everything. I can’t wait to go back! Recommended!!
This new location is really nice, the air feels better here than the old MJQ! I love the set up and design, the bars everywhere, the way the bathrooms are set up. A huge upgrade, cheers to many more years of MJQ!! I don’t come here often but it is an Atlanta staple and I hope it gets its flowers for keeping its doors open for so long!! And i hope the workers make lots of money cuz running a place that big cannot be easy 😭🙏
A lot of the staff are RUDE!!! They ruin the experience with their ATTITUDES! The security lady at the entrance YELLS at people for NO REASON! The security inside is constantly looking for something to complain to you about! The bartenders are stressed out because they do not have barbacks to help them:(
First time going and I will for sure be back. Great atmosphere, music and vibes. They say clubs are dead and people don’t dance but I can’t say the same for here. On a Wednesday it was lit so I can only imagine how it is on the weekend!
Club culture is dying and MJQ is a great example of that. First, the atmosphere is unenjoyable and sleazy with the overwhelming amount of single men. I’ve never been to a club where the amount of men outweighed the amount of women. Second, security was awful. They had me wait by myself away from my friends outside the small, narrow bar area located upstairs. Mind you, no one else was around to occupy bar space/order drinks but my group. They also made inappropriate comments towards my friends and I upon first entering. Lastly, again, the amount of clearly single men that have nothing better to do than to harass women that were loitering right outside the exit made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Comments and physical motions were made at us as we left. The only good thing were the cheap drinks and the aesthetic. My last statement to MJQ: if you want to remain open, you need to prioritize the safety of the women that come to your club. Women are the reason clubs are what they are- we bring the vibe and the money and you need to cater to us so that everyone (yes that includes men!) can have a great time. What’s a club without that? Men won’t show up otherwise if women stop going. My friends and I won’t be back.
