WOW!!!! I’ve been so excited to try the Rose Room and finally my schedule aligned so I could do so. As soon as I walked in I knew it’d be an awesome experience!!! All the drinks I had were delicious, & the bartenders so obviously have a passion for drink making. This isn’t your average cocktail bar, it’s a MUST TRY when in Macon!! Definitely try the “bloom” drink with bell peppers—i didn’t think a savory cocktail would be my thing, but it turned out to be my favorite of the night!!!
If you’re looking for a relaxing place to hang out, catch up with friends, and enjoy delicious cocktails then this is the best bar to visit in town! There’s a drink on the menu for everyone and I’ve tried most of them. They’re all amazing! My personal favorite is their signature—The Tequila Rose. It’s so yummy! They have seasonal cocktails too, which is something to look forward to when you stop by. John, one of the owners, is incredibly kind and super talented at what he does. You’ll have a great time.
unique spot with great, handcrafted drinks! Perfect for a date night- fancy but chill at the same time. Would recommend the Drs Orders drink & the Copacetic. Delicious! The owners are lovely people, very funny & kind.
Drinks were inventive and well executed. Bartenders were super friendly and willing to chat about cocktails all night. The space is small and intimate with a selection of vinyl to play in the corner. I definitely recommend this spot if you are in the area. I hope to be back soon.
I came out to support a friend who was performing stand up comedy. I have not been here since this location was JBA. It was not a particularly crowded evening but the people I met were nice. It has a very local and chill vibe. We had a table close to the stage and we had a good time. I ordered a Corona and was highly disappointed it came in a can. Definitely does not taste better than in a glass bottle. Throwing my lime in the can just felt wrong so I didn't. Maybe cans are a more affordable approach or I think it's better for the environment. This was my first time having a can of Corona, definitely not for me. The bar was not packed and the person behind the bar was too busy on their phone to see me there. I got my beer eventually since I made sure he heard me. I guess that's how things work there. I came out, supported my friend and got a few laughs.
We love coming here when we get a night away from the kids. Perfect drinks, friendly bar tenders that remembers us every time we’ve come in, darts, and great atmosphere.
Love the bartender she’s the best always brings the vibes. It makes me feel welcome whether I’m the only person here or not. Love this place 10 out of 10. Food busssssinnn
Hoops is an awesome place. It has the best hookah in Macon and a really cool vibe. Every time I come I enjoy myself. I’ve even seen people just stop by to get some good food.
Sometimes there's a fee to enter and sometimes it's free. The lady that cooks really be cooking food good in southern old school style. The drinks are always strong the place is clean. The restroom is always clean. they have great bands and performers. There's a lot of history in the building and pictures. Definitely a Macon staple in history. Would definitely recommend and return.
Really fun time with friends! Music was great and vibes were good. There was a cover for the live band but besides that, it was pretty cool.
My favorite part of my visit to Macon! I was intrigued by the reviews so I made a reservation, they are required and an hour long. Tony is great, the drinks are excellent, the atmosphere is great. The best drink was their version of something like a White Russian (no dairy!) but much better!
My friends and I had a great experience here for a girls day! The drinks were THE BEST I ever had mainly bc I could barely taste the alcohol (I guess that could be a good or bad thing 😂) the atmosphere was warm and inviting. You felt truly transported to some bar in Hawaii. The staff were kind and attentive to everyone’s needs. Btw they no longer serve food! And you MUST have a reservation to get in. Overall 10/10 100 percent would do it again.
Great bar in Macon & would recommend booking the lounge for small private events. I booked the lounge for my bachelorette party, and it was fantastic. The space is gorgeous for photos, and we made us of the AV system, using it to display a PowerPoint, play our own music, and even hook up a video gaming system at one point in the night. The space also has its own bathroom which is a plus. Brandon was great to work with, and I hope more people make use of the Lounge for their small events! I would absolutely recommend.
I was recommended this place from a local restaurant. They have 3 pool tables in the back bar area along with darts. They had a show happening the evening I went so there was a $10 cover to get in. The drinks were good. The back bar with the pool tables was not crowded at all. It was fun.
Very friendly staff and customers, great pool tables, good drinks at good prices. We've been a few times and always have a great time.
Clean, neat, friendly, and highly appreciated location! If you're looking to enjoy a jukebox, socialize, a Great drink selection, and plenty of pool tables this is it!
Very nice outdoor experience! 🍸 🍹 The Mimosas were fresh and citrussy! 😊 We had brunch prior to our arrival. No food was purchased at the event.
Great for families with kids. Lots of them here. Good beer selection and good food. Lots of space for people. I personally like a more adult experience so I doubt I'll be back. Had to come back for a birthday party. Earlier in the day was much better with less drunk folks not paying attention to their kids or dogs.
I was super excited to check out Quill while in town! It was the vibe I was looking for! Small and quaint and dark with an almost speakeasy vibe. The two lady bartenders were not the most friendly. We were unsure if we should sit or order from the bar. Communication was definitely lacking. We were finally told to sit. A bartender came over eventually and took our order. No friendliness or chatting... We ordered and she walked away. My martini was ok. I ordered it filthy. It def was not. BUT... the atmosphere was wonderful and we met some fun folks.
We stayed at the Woodward one night and after walking through a bunch of bars, we stayed here the ambience was nice, and the cocktail and coffee martini at that point!! The rooftop is a nice touch, even the bouncer/security was cool and approachable. We were two ladies having a few drinks and in a nice environment. Thanks, if I have another event in Macon I'll stop by.
I stumbled upon this bar while in Macon. There were mixed reviews posted about the food. Our tacos were great. (I would pass again on the guac). I'm picky about margaritas so I will say they were decent; other straight pour drinks were great. It was a Tuesday night so it was not packed but Rudi made sure it was a great vibe. I enjoyed so much I plan to come back and bring my husband.
Walk by this place and was like I need to come in! Great specials!! Great music!! Great drinks! I had the Daisy Margarita it was tasty! I did not eat, but the tacos that they had here smelled and looked really good
Gastropub serving tap brews over the counter & bottles from the shelves, plus hearty bar grub.
Doughknot bites were good, pizzas were excellent! Raspberry special pizza and bbq chicken pizza were cooked well and presented nicely. Appetizer oven was down, so menu was limited, would've liked to try the quesadilla. Dog friendly.
Such a cool place!!!! Great pizza and beer selection. Friendly staff and iirc it was dog friendly. Limited seating inside, but we sat outside because the weather was perfect.
Exquisite! Heard about this place a couple of months ago and been wanting to try it. Went on Father’s Day weekend with a 6pm reservation. There wasn’t a big crowd when we arrived and we got seated right away. Wasn’t expecting all the stairs to walk up though. Chef Gerard was in town and did the meal Selections for the special weekend. Everything was top tier; the decor, the service, the food. The food was to die for…we could not stop raving about how good our food tasted and the flavors were chefs kiss! I got sautéed Grouper with some delicious Parmesan grits and spinach with a lemon butter sauce and my spouse got the rib eye. He ate more of my grits than I did and he don’t really like grits lol. We could not stop eating it was so good. We ordered the peach cobbler for dessert and it was good and I don’t eat cobbler. Chef Gerard came out and spoke to us and we were able to brag on how good his food was. It was just an amazing experience from start to finish. We can’t wait to go back and try other things on the menu.
If you're looking for a nice evening on the town—whether it's date night or a girls' night out—look no further! My first visit was amazing. We were warmly greeted by Nikki, who was super attentive as we sat at the bar. Then Genesis, another bartender, arrived with an incredible personality—so fun and welcoming! I ordered two strawberry lemonade drops, and they were absolutely delicious. We tried the lobster and salmon bites, and I also had the glazed salmon with fried rice and a crab cake—everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My mother had the jerk chicken, and it was sooo good—I’ll definitely be coming back for that! After dinner, we purchased cigars, and a nice young man helped us pick them out. I must say, this place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is intimate, and even the bathrooms were really clean. Solid 10 out of 10! Timing: We arrived at 4 pm there was know wait for out party of 3. We sat at the bar. The music was at the perfect volume. I could hear the song and also converse with my girls without talk loud. So put on some cute and enjoy!
We celebrated my mother’s birthday today at Social Duck in Macon, Georgia, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! From the first phone call, Will, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and made reserving lanes for our group of 10, including two toddlers, an absolute breeze. When we arrived, Will greeted us warmly and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. The place is very clean and well-kept, and the setup is perfect for families. The balls are small, so even the toddlers had no issues bowling, and you don’t have to worry about putting on bowling shoes or anything. It’s a very safe and relaxed environment. The food service was impressively fast, and everything we ordered was delicious. If you go, I highly recommend the lemon pepper wings, chicken fingers, and the fries—the fries are honestly some of the best I’ve had at a bowling alley. For anyone planning a visit, I recommend calling ahead to reserve your lanes and going earlier in the day if you’re bringing children. Thank you, Will, for making my mother’s birthday celebration so special. We’re all still very impressed with how fast you recovered from that slip (sorry again) I’m already looking forward to coming back for a date night soon! 🤗
We had so much fun and the drinks were excellent. The best part was that our arms wasn't sore the next day after bowling 2 games! 🤣 Will definitely be back soon!
Hosting regular tournaments, this bar is lined with classic video game cabinets & pinball machines.
My absolute favorite bar in town. Very diverse and inclusive where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. They have gaming tournaments, drag shows, comedy shows, and weekly trivia. I love getting off work and relaxing with a cold drink and some pinball paired with good conversation. All the employees are attentive and kind and will answer any questions you may have about the drink menus or arcade machines. An absolute blast everytime I visit and, in my opinion, the best local haunt.
I love Reboot. The staff and bartenders are so cool, welcoming and inviting. They host some of the most fun events in Macon!! If you’re looking for a place to have a good time, go to Reboot.
Low-key eatery with TVs offering ample pub grub & comfort cuisine plus wine, beer & cocktails.
Piedmont Brewery & Kitchen is the perfect college-town spot — whether you’re a visitor, local, or Mercer student. It’s got that ideal mix of great atmosphere, great food, and plenty of space (even for large parties). I’m very particular about brisket, but I have to say — this was probably one of the best I’ve had in Georgia. Perfect balance of juiciness, fat ratio, and tenderness. I paired it with their potato salad, which tasted fresh, homemade, and creamy without being too heavy. My group also tried the crunchy turkey sandwich — just the right amount of spice, fresh, and delicious. Every single plate at our table was excellent. Our bill for four people was about $70 with tip — very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The vibe is unique: upstairs feels like a lively pub and kitchen, and downstairs you can check out the brewery itself, plus there’s an arcade that adds a fun touch. Between the atmosphere, service, and food, Piedmont Brewery & Kitchen is an absolute win for Macon. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere. And the food was amazing. I'm very particular about BBQ and the brisket and turkey was perfect. The pork belly appetizer was really good. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and was familiar with the menu and restaurant. His recommendation for dessert was on point.**If they offer the Tiramisu Tres Leches Chocolate Cheesecake, get it!** Fair price point and some great shirts and stickers.
If you're looking for incredible wings and fries in Middle Georgia, look no further! The customer service was outstanding, and they got my to-go order out to me in record time. I can't recommend this place enough!
The food was Amazing! Better hamburger steak than Texas Roadhouse and probably the best collards I've had in my life and the fries were perfect. $2 bottles of beer was an added bonus💯🇺🇸 The sign said Happy Hour from 11a - 8p and all day on Sunday with more drink specials than I can remember. Will definitely be back for .99c Wing Wednesday !!!
I visited a couple of times on Friday night since I saw free entry and karaoke on Friday nights.the location has plenty of free parking my drinks are always made properly the bartenders know their stuff and all have a perfect pour the dj that does the karaoke is very charismatic and outgoing I felt safe hanging out here alone on a Friday night. The reason for my low score is the hamburgers sliders I ordered 🤢 were not burgers but ground beef cooked up sloppy Joe style with minced onion and spooned on slider buns it was unseasoned and very greasy also my cheese wasn't melted I wanted to play pool however they charge by the amount of time you play and they write it up (maybe this is the norm here, however in Florida they only charge that way at pool halls not bars) there was a little girls who looked to be around 10 years old in there every time I've gone I understand that some people don't see any issues with it but I find it off-putting especially after midnight. They have a sign that says that after a certain hour kids aren't allowed be however none of the employees seemed to care they even let her sing karaoke this leaves me in total shock. Like why have that little girl up there singing and dancing entertaining adults one time there was a drunk woman singing and dancing with her. It was so tasteless and it was the last time I went and I vowed to never go back. I don't want to hang out drinking and partying with a child. Which was a bomber because I was looking for a local weekly hangout spot to get away from the kids
Came for karaoke and also had sone food the Philly Cheese steak was delicious and the Kareoke DJ was Awesome
National & local bands perform at this lively watering hole also offering a patio, darts & karaoke.
Whenever I enter The Hummingbird I feel welcomed and at home. The service is wonderful and the vibe is definitely there! I'm always ready for karaoke night with Canipe and Lana !! Jamie the back bartender is handsome and gives you a great laugh! Highly recommended !
Justice is awesome! Great drinks, great attitude, and always a fun time at the bar. I hope she comes back. Couldn’t ask for better service.
Three strikes and you are out. I really wanted to like this place but after 3 visits I will not be back and would not recommend. First time was an awkward experience but I really enjoyed the Philly cheese steak egg rolls. I work really close by so I thought I pass by and get an order on my break. Upon entrance I'm carded. I told the lady I'm not getting a drink just ordering food she said I still had to show ID. I've never been IDed at a restaurant. I look nothing remotely close to 20 nothing. I just took my business somewhere else. Today trying again to get these egg rolls. Figured I'll get a drink while I wait. NO BARTENDER in sight. There's 4 of us at the bar just waiting. I've never been to a bar and no bartender. At least 10mins just waiting. At this point I didn't even want the egg roll anymore, I wish I did just leave, we'll come back to the eggrolls. One of the ladies come to me and ask me if everything is OK. I ask where is the bartender, she trys justifying...it's been really busy, she's in the restroom...blah blah blah. Your bar should never be unmanned. Communication is everything, someone should have been there to replace her. Employees walking back and forth but the bar is unmanned. I have never seen this ANYWHERE!!! Now the egg rolls, definitely not the ones I had the first time. This was SALTY, soggy and greasy. The ground beef is like Walmart quality. I paid $13 for crap. I couldn't even eat but a few bites and had to dump it. Worst heartburn I've had in a while. Worst part, while I was there I voiced my upset to 3 employees only got gaslighted and excuses zero solution to make me a happy customer who may have given them a chance.
I've been here twice and had the same server. When you have her attention she is very personable, but the problem is getting her attention. I got there very late and was seated right away by the hostess. She was nice. I waited a little before my server came. She offered water and a menu, which I appreciated. However, she didn't come back for 45 minutes. Thank goodness she gave me water to sip. I literally had to get someone to bring her to me. I wanted appetizers and a drink. She says What do you want because the kitchen is about to close. Welll it wasn't about to close when I arrived an hour ago! Someone else brought me my food because why? She was inattentive. I had to ask another customer to get her attention so I could pay my bill and get out of there. I won't be back. Sorry.
The vibes here are amazing! But to make it even better are Casey and Andrea, they are the perfect duo to be behind the bar! Always have a drink in my hands! 10 out of 10.
Literally my 1st time contacting this location for food. I saw a review on social media and wanted to try it out and place an order over the phone. The lady who answered the call hung up in my face as I was still speaking. Unnecessarily rude and lost my business. As an event planner I love to order food locally but will never recommend or use this location.
My twin and I went there late Saturday night to finally celebrate our birthday.... their busy part of the night was over......11:30ish when we got there....no problem getting a pool table to rent for a couple of hours.... enjoyed the atmosphere... bartender was really nice
Walked in here at 10:00 p.m. kitchen completely closed! BOO! No music BOO! It's 12:24 a.m Google maps says it's still open and the kitchen is open but it is not! This used to be a popping place but now all they're worried about is the pool tables
This place is fantastic. Great drinks friendly bartenders and a nice vibe going on. Please stop by and show them some love. It will definitely be worth the trip.
Placed an online order because my husband was told the wings were the best. Had to wait 45 minutes only to be missing half of my order. Not to mention the food was just plain awful for the price. Dry dry dry. And no flavor!!!! Didn’t know you could kill a bird twice. Will not come back
The fish plates are amazing! The bartenders are awesome! Saturday night w/DJ BlakJak is always a good time. I really just enjoy the vibe here... its very laid back.
Chill spot. Food has went up tremendously tho. I got 2 piece fish and 6 shrimp for $15.00, food was delicious, but pricey. Good vibe, not crowded and music was on point. If u don't want a big crowd, go when they first open.
We were visiting from Savannah where we appreciate the outstanding bar scene in our historic district. We had read about the hotel and bar and wanted to give support. The drinks were OK, considering they were at Brooklyn prices. The view was good. That’s where the Brooklyn comparison ends. The service was like a poorly run McDonald’s at lunch hour. No one ever said welcome, no one asked if they could help us, no one said thank you. It was uncomfortably chaotic. Eventually, someone bothered to make a drink. They had beautiful bar mats, but our drinks were plunked on a dirty bar top with no comment. I picked up a handful of bar mats so that when we carried our drinks out on the terrace - there was no wait staff - we could at least pretend we were in the nice bar that High Tops is pretending to be? We won’t be back.
This place was so great! We walked into the hotel 45, and we were led up a small staircase to an elevator that took us up a few floors to the Hightales Rooftop bar. Service was a little slow, but fit a fine dining bar experience. The menu was exotic and exquisite, offering blue crab cakes, a delicious soup of the day, and high selections of meats and sides. Our lemon drop martini was flavorful and strong. The views were AMAZING. You are able to see beautiful downtown Macon, GA and seeing it at night is a great experience.
Cool spot! Nice bartenders. The best wings and burgers, I’ve never tried anything else in 25 years. Don’t like the smokiness, but it reminds of days past.
For a bar experience, yes. If you're gonna get food, no. Menu said "piled high" In what universe is this "piled high". And basically tasteless...not worth $24.99 for the 2 dishes. Utterly disappointed I waited 30 mins and spent that much on this...just go to Wendy's
So I did not want to post on here.....sent an email to the company email online but that was 7 days ago and havent gotten a response so I guess this review is my only option to get a reply. So my best friend and I have been coming to your restaurant for about 2 months now. We come on Mondays for Half price salads but sometimes we do come in the week too. It was pretty good when we first started coming but here recently has been a terrible experience. We get the same thing everytime we come.....salads! Service has gotten terrible and also quality of food. We have been getting salads with big hard chunks.....and barely anything on it. My salad today had maybe like 1 chicken tender cut up.....2 sliced strawberry and maybe like 3 little mandarin oranges. We are debating if we want to continue coming back. Something needs to change. People taking shots with people. We have to continue to keep asking someone for something and still have to wait long periods of times. I attached pictures of salads when we would get them and then the last 2 pics is my salad from today......I didnt get a pic last time. The 1st 2 are the times when we first started and how great they looked. Also each time they never have any regular silverware. I dont want plastic silverware. We ask and he says I am not sure if I can find any. Like what? Ridiculous.
I went to eat with my mom and dad. They live in Macon Ga. They picked here after a doctor's appointment. It was good I could tell they were more of a bar atmosphere. It was lunch times. The front door would not stay closed. Every time someone left the door would not close back. I closed the door a lot. My parents were so cold. It felt like they didn't have any heat on. The burger was good. I love pimento cheese on my burgers recently. The fries were ok. I love homemade fries not out of a bag. Our waitress was wonderful. They do have specials throughout the week. They also have a bingo night and different activities throughout the week.
Went with some friends and family to catch up and watch a football game, they were playing UM and FSU. We were greeted instantly and they sat us in the back. Our server was Ana, she did a great job in taking our order in less than 5 minutes (it was 12 of us) and food came out perfect! She constantly made her presence known and was very funny!! The manager which was a young girl also came by and was visible all night as well, thank you guys for a great night! Definitely visiting again. BTW they do auto gratuity over 6/7 people but it is very much worth it for the vibes offered and service 🙌
Great place for food and drink. They’ve got a good selection of beer and these chicken wings are where it’s at. I get them every time I go.
Familiar pub plates served in roomy, laid-back surrounds with a full bar & outdoor seating.
Wings tasted good but were small. Fish was good and hot. Hush puppies were great. Fries were a little too salty for my palate. Cole slaw was excellent.
The food was Subpar at best. I ordered the whiting and shrimp basket and the fish looked good when it arrived at my table, but I came to find that it was very overcooked and not even chewable. It must’ve been sitting under a hot light for most of the day. Very disappointing. Our server barely checked on us throughout our meal and spent her time socializing with her friends at the next table. We had to ask her “friends“ to get her attention just so that we could request extra condiments. It also took us forever to get our cocktails as well as the bill. The high notes are plenty of TVs if you like sports and a decent DJ set. There’s also a $10 cover charge cash only… Mind you this is a sports bar, not a lounge or club warranting the entry fee. That may explain why they didn’t have many guests in there at the time I arrived. Laughable to say the least.
Stopped in late night for a bite to eat since everything else was closed in Macon. It worked out good because we have been wanting to try this place. They had a shortened menu since it was late night so we ordered a calzone and started with the order of fries. Both came out hot fresh. They seem to have a decent beer selection. Our waitress was very friendly. We would go back.
Stopped here on our way from Jacksonville to Chattanooga- loved our experience! Jessica M. Was such a great server- she made for a very homey experience, even for us travelers!
I had such a great time here the other night! The venue itself is gorgeous. Beautiful lighting, sleek design, and just the right vibe for a ladies night out. The DJ was awesome and had me and my girlfriends up and dancing on the dance floor (even Alina who never dances!) We picked the perfect bar in there because Coral was incredible. She was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made our ladies night even more enjoyable with her yummy shots (I've forgotten the name of them) and welcoming demenaor. She really stood out in the best way and made us feel welcome the entire time. Between the atmosphere, the music, and the service, this place is absolutely worth visiting for our new monthly mom's night out. Can’t wait to come back.
Coral was amazing.. when the bar was super packed she found a way to make sure we got our drinks in a timely manner. I had a complex drink order that she remembered and executed flawlessly!!
Well, honestly they have LOTS of room for improvement. I was visiting from Atlanta with some friends. The place was recommended by a co-worker. My wings came out damn near raw, my wife’s sweet potato fries came out burnt & hard as a rock. The server wasn’t really familiar with the liquor or drinks they could provide with their happy hour selection. I would come back but just for the drinks. Appetizers were really good! I really liked the atmosphere it’s a good vibe but I recommend you know maybe don’t serve raw food?
The server was friendly and welcoming. However, the beer list is only available through an app—which I’m not a fan of—and to make matters worse, it wasn’t even up to date. The salad with chicken and feta is generally good, but the way they prepare the chicken seems inconsistent. I’d much prefer fresh, grilled chicken every time. On my last visit, I was served a pale, under-seasoned shredded version that didn’t do the dish any favors. That said, it’s still not a bad place. There's just room for improvement.
