I feel like our experience could have been much better. My friend booked everything and there were no prices online, and we arrived & discovered why. The terrariums are expensive, the plants are very overpriced--$10 to start for tiny ones--and then the environment wasn't super positive. I wish I could say that it was a really amazing experience, and spending time with one's friends is, but it didn't feel very welcoming. I found out my friend had to pay a deposit just to reserve a table. We were immediately told to put our drinks away or have them put behind the bar (a closed non-alcoholic drink and a water bottle) because of the liquor license & its strictness (?). There were people having fun, & making cute stuff. The actual place is beautiful. The owner was good at explaining how to position the plants for the right water balance, but... It fell flat. $70 for a terrarium, drink, 2 plants? I would rather just go try it on my own.

My daughter and I made an impromptu visit to this place back in November, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The two women working that day- one of whom I believe was the owner - were absolutely amazing. They guided us through every step of the process with enthusiasm, making us feel truly welcomed. Their passion for what they do was contagious, and it made the entire experience even more special. While the prices are on the higher side, I completely understand why. The level of service they provide is exceptional, taking the time to explain not just the steps, but also the reasoning behind each one. They carefully source all their plants to ensure they thrive in a terrarium setting, categorizing them and helping you understand what works best. I’ll be sharing photos from the day of our visit, as well as an update on my terrarium - it’s still thriving! I can confidently say I got my money’s worth. This is the perfect spot for a date night, girls’ night out, mother-daughter bonding, or any gathering with like-minded people. Plus, they serve wine and other spirits, adding to the fun atmosphere. We will absolutely be back! Highly recommend.

No frying here! Amazing food and drinks! If you love pickleball, this is the place for you!

The Kitchen has never disappointed! From eating between pickle games or bringing the fam to eat on a Friday night, we have loved our entire experience and meal every time. My family has tried just about everything on the menu and Gabe and his team knocks it out of the park every time. Close your eyes and pick something off the menu and you won’t be disappointed!

If you’re looking for a drink after 10 pm, this is a great place to go in downtown Meridian. The area is quaint with plenty of parking nearby. The interior has a cozy, rustic feel which gives it character, somewhat like the set on the old sitcom “Cheers” where you meet friends and want to stay awhile. The drink menu was vast with offering well drinks, local beer and craft cocktails. I didn’t see a food menu so I cannot comment on that. For the warmer nights an outdoor/patio seating was available. It was busy when we arrived at 11:00 pm but immediate seating was available. Service was prompt and the overall pricing was great.

every time i have occasioned the roosevelt, alex has made me feel more than welcome. he is a kind soul and one can tell that he cares not only about his work but his patrons. i’m a high maintenance gay & want all my drinks skinny. alex still manages to put up with my requests & make delicious cocktails, all whilst serving up kindness—the most important ingredient, especially in this socio-political eviron we live in. i live in star but am willing to make the trek because i feel at home here, on account of alex and trevor (& i think travis?)…isn’t bad either 😉 long live the roosevelt! jhm

This place defines cozy and welcoming — featuring 54 rotating craft beers, a great selection of wine, and a menu of American-style favorites that never disappoints. Opened in April 2024, they’ve perfected the balance of quality, community, and comfort — you instantly feel at home the moment you walk in. I was there for John Schied’s Finally Friday meetup and had an incredible time with Danny Smith and Teresa Copeland. The vibe was amazing, the drinks were top-notch, and the food was spot on. If you haven’t been to Dusty Rose Reserve yet, you’re seriously missing out! Do yourself a favor and check them out — you’ll thank me later! 🍻🔥

Good news ... HUGE wall of draft beers. The sandwiches and wraps come with a side even though not listed on their menu. . Bad news ... if you don't pick which side, they're going to choose for you! . Great news ... they were able to swap out the side quickly, and I got a beautiful side salad! Only Rosie working up front, but she was able to handle my situation with a smile and still stay on top of her game with all the other customers. . So-so news ... sodas are served in a can for take-out, no cups and lids. . Final news ... located on the end of a shopping plaza with plenty of close, free parking. I would return when I had more time to stay, and try more of the menu.

Sat outside on the patio and had Christina as our server! We come here a lot and she recognized us and gave us a ton of refills and stuff 😆 I loved her! She was very attentive and nice and great at her job! Like I would literally be thinking “oh I need to get a refill” and she would be there with it. The food was AMAZING—it’s very rare that we get “just okay” food here. Perfect temperature, not too loud, good atmosphere. The happy hour pricing is a GREAT deal—half off select apps and all pizzas I believe. We love it here!!!! Been coming for years. Thanks Yard House!!!

We ordered Spicy Jambalaya in linguini, Poke Nachos, Whiskey Glazed Salmon and Lobster Garlic Noodles. My personal favourite is the Poke Nachos. Scorched Melon, not so much, it tastes like spicy lemonade and you can’t taste the melon flavour at all. All the served food was very flavourful and portions are just right it can actually be shareable. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Our server Emma and Tania are fantastic! They are both very attentive to our needs, and even anticipated our requests before we had to ask. Outdoor patio sitting is just perfect for the weather.

What a fun experience. We went after work, so too early for the exciting younger crowd fun, but my husband and I had a nice time. We split an order of the chicken wings and the loaded fries. He has a Coors light while I had the skinny marg. Every single thing was OUTSTANDING! The food was hands down extraordinary! I am not sure who our waiter/tender was, but he was great also! We will be back!!

Been here twice now. First time had a couple beers. Average. Second time just came in for a cocktail. Ordered 2 Segrams 7 and 7’s. Had to double check with the bartender that they were doubles. So watered down, could faintly taste the alcohol. Never coming back. Do not recommend. A waste of $25.

I recently visited The Curb Bar and Grill and found it to be a solid dining spot. The atmosphere was clean and artistically designed, creating a welcoming environment. The waitstaff provided excellent service, contributing to an overall positive experience. I ordered the brisket quesadilla, which was enjoyable but didn’t quite meet my expectations in terms of flavor, preventing me from giving a full five-star rating. Nonetheless, it's a good place to visit, and I’d consider returning to try other menu items.

Every meal I've ever had here was excellent. People are great. Vibe is perfect for a young-at-heart crowd. Ideal for 25-50.

I enjoyed playing pool but the night bartenders and ladies seemed to be disgusted by people from out of town. Great for locals but if youre not stay away. I was kind, tipped $5 a drink and treated like trash after spending over $100. Never going to see me again, not that they care.

Hello, my name is Jamie Murray from Ireland. There's security member came up to me telling me that am I closed out? Because of my accents that I should be not drinking anymore. When I tried to talk to them civilly they made roundabout accusations and when I asked for their age they were only 21 and had no idea about any other place, country, or any type of understanding about accents. And so I was told to leave from the establishments when I was trying to educate said individual as I am a 32 year old and ex-military individual from an establishment that I have lived in Ireland for over 16 years and told because I sound difference and or drunk because of how I sound Is ethnist. I strongly recommend yes if you might be a younger person looking to dance. Go for it, but if you're looking for actual professionalism and good drink, don't go here. They are xenophobic and or uneducated and potentially racist/ ethnist people.

The bartender on Tuesdays, Teree, is fabulous! Funny, personable and witty, she makes a dining experience great! It’s her birthday tonight and we loved celebrating her.

2 bad drinks in a row. Unbalanced and undrinkable. Super cute place. Maybe new bartenders or training? So much potential but when only serving drinks they should be drinkable.

This is a nice place; know what to expect when you go and it'll be a fantastic trip for you. The table my group was at (6 of us at a rectangular table) was really big and very difficult to hear each other, especially when the live band outside began. The food was delicious but very pricey (that's on me for not checking first, to level my expectations). I had the Angry Dog burger and it was super yummy but I'm not sure $18 worth. The fries were cooked perfectly and very flavorful and crisp. I got their Berry Rebellious cocktail ($16!!!) and it was so good, though probably because it tasted like there was barely any alcohol in it. It tasted more like a soda than a vodka drink. And it was in a short glass with a huge cube of ice in it. So for the cost of that drink, you didn't get very much liquid.

Can’t say enough great things!! I chose Maddie’s for my wedding reception and everything was perfect! The vibe was amazing, there was tons of space, the food (especially the Mac and cheese) was delicious, but what made it an even better experience was the staff! Shandi and Michael (event coordinators) were superstars! They went above and beyond to help me and my family get set up and make sure we were 100% happy with everything. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, it was all 100% smooth sailing. The venue itself is so beautiful and I highly recommend it for a special event. You won’t be disappointed!
