This excellent Irish Pub is in the heart of Little Italy, Chicago. It was delicious snacks a great atmosphere and excellent service
We had a fantastic time here. I tried several new ciders that I enjoyed, as well as excellent conversation with our bartender Colm. We plan to come here again many times in the future!
Landed in Chicago last night and came to Gus Sip & Dip bc of a recommendation of a friend- this place delivered beyond my expectations. $12 for ea perfectly curated & beautiful cocktail- fries are so good you can't believe they're just handcut fries, Wagyu Sandwich & the cheeseDog! Service was top tier ! The Sip & Dip Coaster was so beautiful & one of my favorite elements of the experience. We will definitely be back!
Well done Lettuce!! Gus’ Sip & Dip is Chicago’s new gem. The atmosphere is incredible and the food, the food is even better. Continuing a tradition borrowed from McSorley’s in NYC, you get a choice of light or dark beer, for which you receive 2 beer mugs per order. We ordered the French Wagyu Dip which was the best I’ve ever had; simply melts in your mouth. We also had the Shrimp cocktail which was super cold and delicious, as well as the Schnitzel. If you can find a resi, run don’t walk.
This cozy, cash-only bar, a neighborhood fixture since 1980, serves a wide variety of bottled beers.
We came here on a bar crawl to celebrate our friend’s birthday and we came in with 20 people and the owner was so attentive to all of us, and she even sent somebody out to get a cake for us to celebrate and she made the night so special. This bar is a classic Chicago spot, so welcoming and amazing. Great vibes for a Blackhawks game. If you’re in the neighborhood you have to come by!!
Incredibly welcoming neighborhood bar. Very fair prices and kind people.
Laid-back place with updated pub eats, frozen cocktails & beer in a space with a lake-house vibe.
Took all my daughters for lunch and one thing was better than the next. Super fresh food and great friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Came for brunch and shared the mimosa kit with a friend. $25 between two people and roughly getting 3 drinks each is great. Came with orange, strawberry and mango juice. I loved the flavors of the chicken and waffles. Sweet, savory and a slight spice to it. Absolutely recommend it!
Bar with more than 300 varieties of whiskey plus movie nights & DJs spinning punk/rock/ska music.
The best place to sit and enjoy a whiskey from Portland Maine to Portland Oregon is right here at 2771 N Lincoln. Go early right when they open and sit in quiet contemplation of a gorgeous dram of Speyside single malt whilst listening to old Delta blues or perhaps some Benny Goodman with the bartender, or show up late on a Monday night to play free pool, drink an exquisite bourbon paired with a cheap domestic beer in a can while your ears are left ringing from Bad Brains playing at the correct volume… or at literally any other time your whistle is crying out for moisture, because Delilah’s is open every day of the year. You’ll be back.
We hosted a post wedding event at Delilah’s in their upstairs room. Not only was it affordable, the staff was so incredible. They ensured our guests had a great time and even helped us set food up. We were allowed to play our own music and even had a pool game going. I would 100% recommend anyone looking for a private event space to book with Delilah’s, they’re the best!
Honestly appetizers were amazing cocktails were great and above all the customer service really is what made it for us. Kostis was an amazing server and great conversation!
Our late-night dinner at No Vacancy Chicago was nothing short of exceptional! The **NV Burger** with an egg was an absolute standout—cooked to a perfect medium, with the patty juicy and flavorful, and the egg adding a rich, indulgent touch. Every bite was a delightful mix of savory goodness that truly satisfied. The **curly fries** were insanely good—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and seriously addictive. We loved them so much that we couldn't help but order a second basket at **11 PM**—hands down, some of the **best fries I've ever had in Chicago**. The **grilled chicken** was equally impressive—tender, moist, and packed with a deliciously smoky flavor. But what truly made the night memorable was **Kostas, the bartender**. He was an absolute **sweetheart**—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great experience. His warm hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. **No Vacancy** truly delivers on quality food, great vibes, and top-notch service. We can’t wait to come back for more!
Gin-centric cocktails, craft beers & pub grub served in a relaxed urban-rustic bar with cozy nooks.
It’s such a cozy and intimate environment. It’s nice with the dimmed lighting. The cocktails are all so delicious, and third burger is one of a kind. It’s so flavorful and with the cheese and onions. It reminds me of In-N-Out in the best way but way more premium than In-N-Out. Their fries are crispy and I love the garlic aïoli it comes with our table got the charcuterie and for $55. It was on the expensive side, but the cheeses and meats were great quality. It is very easy to rack up a bill here with your friends, but it was worth it for the great service, food, and drinks. We had a group of 10 and we had a great spot with couches and benches with a table.
Amazing selection of gin cocktails! Scofflaw is very welcoming and the staff/bartenders were all great. Location is convenient and the place is very lively. We got a few drinks and apps and everything was great. Excellent experience overall.
Low-key neighborhood watering hole with wood paneling, pinball, karaoke & quirky theme nights.
Reeds Local is the best bar period. Great place to meet interesting people in a safe and fun environment. Amazing local music shows, karaoke, and Food pop ups. Always something awesome going on and the owners make you feel like family.
My favorite bar in Chicagoland. Great music, great karaoke, friendly owners, friendly clientele. Altogether great vibes, and “the special” can’t be beat for best bang for your buck. Stop by, make a friend…. or two…. or with everyone there.
Well-worn, cash-only corner bar, dating to 1897, with vintage decor, neon beer signs & a pool table.
The hidden gem of all dive bars, full of history and character. Highly recommended. Cheap beer and great company. It's okay to bring in your own food, pizza or other take out options. Come one and come all... Chipp Inn is your spot.
Love Chipp Inn! It’s divey but it’s also one of the oldest bars in the city. Bartenders are friendly and the patrons are usually friendly as well. Only one pool table so it can be tough to play. Cash only!
Went here on a Sunday based on TikTok reviews for brunch. It wasn’t as lively as the videos make it seem however with a good group, it can be good. It was pretty dead when I went in there. However, the food and mimosas were OK as well. I tried the river north location before I will return.
Madi was amazing. Best server we’ve had in a long time. Food (pizza) was off the charts good. Recommend the buffalo chicken pizza was incredible. One complaint ……. Music too loud. (Maybe I’m old). We will be back.
Relaxed bar & coffeehouse with a large, rotating list of beers, a photo booth & a back patio.
If you want to sit at a restored super cool old bar, this is it. Beautiful wood work, fun lighting in cased within the bar, and to pair with that is their wonderful bar staff. Kind and welcoming, not to mention quite knowledgeable on spirits and craft cocktails. I'd for sure come back here again. I did a classic espresso martini but subbed in a decent tequila in place of the vodka. It was smooth, fluffy, and fresh. YUMMY! Parking on street was fairly easy (we were here during day on a week day though).
Highlights: Uniquely shaped bar as the name suggests, attentive speedy and friendly bartenders, creative and tasty cocktails, fun pop up food offerings. We specifically came because we wanted to support a friend’s pop-up. We ordered one of everything from Milo’s Market. It was delish!! Our fave was the Quesabeeria, we ended up ordering a second round. But don’t sleep on the salsa it was bomb. The quesadilla was fun as it was topped with a jalapeño honey. Really good! Drink-wise we had a Smoke & Crystal and a Raviol. I’d give the Smoke & Crystal a 3 out of 5 stars. It wasn’t what I was expecting based off the description but it was good. I was anticipating more of the mezcal flavor to come through. One was plenty. The Raviol was the winner and a fun way to enjoy a cocktail. Def taking the inspiration home! The space is cool, I especially love bars with dark lighting, and the patio looked like a nice place to chill. We came here around 6:30 on a Friday evening and found seats at the bar easily but most of the tables were taken by groups 4-8 people in size. It wasn’t crowded to the degree that it felt uncomfortable or too loud. Cool place! Excited to come back.
Classic tropical cocktails, rums & house daiquiris in a retro Polynesian-style setting.
Came here with some friends & the vibes are fun! Lexy was awesome, great service & super friendly. I would recommend making reservations if you’re coming during their peak hours as standing around the bar can be difficult to order. We stood near the bar & had a great time with our group. We did mainly drinks & grabbed some waffle fries! Our most ordered drink of the night was the Coffee Grog, it is one of the best espresso martinis we’ve had. But the group drinks were always fun for show!
Lexy is THE BEST! I was visiting town and she gave me recommendations where to go. What to see. Now the spot itself. There is a reason this a storied bar. The drinks are built well. The garnish game: another level. The ambiance: perfect. ( the 'secret' entrance really leads to another world, a tropical one) Then she made me two drinks off menu. The best Jungle Bird of my life. The thing is she makes every drink with love and flair. And the menu slaps, classics done right. Period. Then she recognized my special occasion and lit my drink on fire in honor of my party. This is service.
Refined watering hole serving diverse beers & cocktails in laid-back digs with a patio.
This bar has such a cool vibe. My bartender was super friendly and informative about all their drink options. I ended up getting a pickle beer because of him and it was definitely an experience. The place was packed early on a Saturday afternoon, and based on my time there, I can totally see why.
Simple no frills burger and drinks. The smash burger was delicious. It was a little loud and crowded, however that is expected on Friday evening. Service was great and the communal seating makes for an interesting experience on the patio.
This no-frills, stalwart bottle shop & liquor store features an unpretentious on-site bar.
Great downtown dive bar! I have a strong affinity for dive bars and this one did not disappoint. I’m only upset that it took me this many years to find this place. With a huge selection of beers, ciders and seltzers including a large selection of imports in a cooler with 4 different doors for access. The uniqueness of this bar is that you grab what you like, DO NOT OPEN IT and bring to the bar. The tender will open it and charge you. Don’t grab that credit card because they only take cold, hard, cash! The Cubs game was playing on the tubes and it was busy with a fun crowd and standing room only. Walking in made me reminiscent of my college days with the smell and feel of many patrons drinking on a warm summer’s day. Not off-putting, just a noticeable “feel.”
The bar tender was super cool! I got the Chicago handshake and it was delicious! Everyone there was pretty friendly. For a drive, nobody treated you like an outsider. Would definitely go back!
Sophisticated spot with Cuban flair serving rum cocktails & craft beer in a 1927 art deco building.
Easily the best cocktail bar in the area and one of the top 3 in the entire city. They really know their stuff and they have a massive selection of Rum but also a ton of whiskeys. We tried quite a few cocktails and weren't disappointed in any. We were able to talk shop with our bartender and will be back soon. It's surprisingly spacious on the inside but it does fill up quickly, we walked in at 4p on a Sunday with no problems but have tried to come on a Friday or Sat and the line was long. Looking forward to coming back and trying different cocktails we wouldn't normally order.
Absolutely loved this Bar! Great cocktails and a lovely surprise to find Brugal 1888, exquisite Dominican Rum. The place is cozy, small but filled with surprisingly interesting decor, like the “call your mother phone” and the hotel’s keys. You have to wait a bit in line but the door guy is super cool. The bartender made me a Daiquiri with the Brugal 1888, I was in Heaven!!! Staff is friendly, professional and experienced. Can’t wait to go back! Thank your for a wonderful night!
Hip corner bar in a vintage building serving premium cocktails in a narrow, intimate space.
Came here for a nightcap. Loved the vibe in there, everyone seemed to be ya ing a good time. They have a great variety of cocktails 🍹- we had their boulebardier and I personally wanted something that was not sweet and asked for a Tequila Martini 🍸 and it did not disappoint. I asked for “La Gritona” Tequila and it was dirty and perfect 👌 The place is narrow but nothing uncomfortable - a place I will keep tagged on my maps in case I’m ever o. This side of town again. Parking 🅿️ was a hit difficult but manageable. Restroom were clean and we had great customer service.
Visiting town for a wedding and was looking for good cocktails, found this bar on Google Maps and it did NOT disappoint! I really liked the lowkey vibe and eclectic music selection. I ordered a pisco sour, then another pisco sour because it was so tasty! And very reasonably priced. The staff is really personable, too. Would definitely return next time I'm in Chicago!
Classic blues club with up-and-coming & famous acts 7 nights a week plus New-Orleans-inspired grub.
This was one of the best nights of my LIFE! We were in Chicago on a work trip and just so happened to ask the concierge from the hotel what there was to do in town. He immediately suggested trying out the legends assuring us. It’s not very often that Buddy Guy actually shows up, but you never know. Well tonight he showed up and he was amazing❣️We experienced a living legend who has perfected the art of BLUES music. I sincerely apologize to the band that performed with Mr. Guy because I don’t remember their name and they were awesome. If you live in Chicago, but I’ve never been to the legends I recommend it highly. If you’re visiting Chicago, definitely put this on your list of places you must see.
Great blues club in downtown Chicago behind the Hilton. Live blues performed by outstanding blues musicians. Do not expect to see Buddy Guy, he usually plays in January only. Check the lineup on the club's website. I never miss to visit when in Chicago.
Solid dive bar with great atmosphere and eclectic art. Fun place to go with some quiet music and a photo booth. Make sure to bring cash!
Mike was the bartender and he took such good care of us!! Made us tourists feel very welcome. It was by far our favorite bar we’ve gone to!!
Cash-only bar with craft beer, pub food & live music amid retro rec-room decor with a photo booth.
The BEST BEAN BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD. Seriously. I am pleasantly surprised everytime! Also. The staff and tats and beers are delicious.
This bar is the epitome of a hot & cold toxic relationship. The door man was one of the friendliest people I've ever encountered, a welcoming presence who offered up his favorites on the food menu. The rest of the staff could learn a thing or two from him. I wasn't expecting the greatest hospitality of all time from a cash only beer bar known for its urinals, so it was no surprise when the bartenders couldn't be bothered to move 10 steps from the center of the bar to take a drink order, or when they acted like it was common knowledge that food orders can only be placed with a server while sitting at a table. Things really took a turn when we followed instruction and sat at a table, trying at least 10-12 times to flag down the supposed server, who would make eye contact from a distance, then proceed to walk right past us to wait on every other table besides ours. This was when I discovered that the urinals not only had incredible physical stability, having endured for 100+years, but that they also possessed more emotional stability than our server. I've never experienced such horrible service in my entire life. We've all dealt with understaffed restaurants and first time servers, but never have I been intentionally ignored by a server on a power trip with behavioral issues, it almost felt like a bit. Read some other reviews about the difference in treatment for regulars vs non-regulars, which certainly factored in. The art on the walls and the bouncer were cool enough to give this spot 2 stars, but don't expect your server to have more personality than a doorknob, that's asking far too much
Laid-back dive bar near Second City with a storied past, old-school jukebox & funky art.
Enjoyable, laid back dive with classic jukebox tunes and cash only bar. The decor/artwork is certainly something to experience. It's a small joint but certainly manages to cater, at least when we were there, the turnover is regular so people were getting seats and filling the place up with good atmosphere. The malort is expertly poured here, 5/5 would malort again.
This place is great, like an iconic dive bar. I have so many fond memories of hanging out here with fellow improv people after jams and shows. The decor is, um, interesting, the beer is cold, and they don't like pump super-loud music in so you can hear each other speak. I only gave "food" a 3 because they don't to my knowledge have a kitchen. That said if you're around late at night and the Tamale Guy comes around, make sure you have a couple extra bucks...
Stylish, modern take on an old-school beer-&-a-shot bar featuring craft brews & a jukebox.
Cozy, good drinks, good prices. Was a bit thrown off when they sprayed orange scented cologne on my Negroni, different, but no complaints. Really good drink, good staff, and vibes.
We came to EZ Inn for my friends Austin Powers themed baby shower lol it was amazing - atmosphere was incredible, bartenders were great, they let us grill outside. Loved it. Will definitely be back!
Really chill vibe upon walking in this spot about 8pm on a Monday. The bar is very dark on the inside. I guess that's where the name comes from, lol. There were 3 of us. 1 friend's bill was about $25 for 2 drinks. The other bill for 2 of us was about $50 for 4 drinks. The drinks were decent. I did get a nice buzz. I think it's worth mentioning that I was on an empty stomach. There was a female bartender. She was nice. I'd go back for their happy hour when everything is half off. I can see parking being an issue during busier times.
Walked in at 5:20pm, saw a big sign on the wall saying Happy Hour. Ordered a beer — cost me $8.82. I asked about the Happy Hour pricing, and the bartender casually said it ended at 5pm. No explanation, no apology — just zero concern. Either update your signage or honor what you advertise. Not a good look. Tried to order Negroni - we don't make cocktails now.
Meadowlark Bar is such a creative and memorable spot in Chicago! The drink menu is wild—in the best way. Each page is themed around school life, and the cocktail ingredients play right into that concept. Super unique and well thought out. I tried some bar bites too, and they were just as inventive—especially the peanut butter & jelly-inspired dish and the pepperoni pizza puff. Both were surprisingly good and definitely not your typical bar food. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking for something offbeat and different. Loved the concept and the overall vibe
After entering the unassuming side door to Meadowlark we were greeted by a very friendly hostess. We were actually there to buy a gift card but decided to stay and check it out. The waiting area is separated from the main room and is quite small. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated. We loved the atmosphere right away. It was dimly lit with lots of dark wood and exposed brick walls. We were sat at a little settee with a small coffee table in front of it. We were greeting within a couple minutes and given drink menus. All of the cocktails are craft and very interesting. Our server explained that the menu rotates on a weekly basis. It was a space themed menu when we were there. Our drinks were delicious and very pretty in the individually curated glasses. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our drinks arrived. We chose a mixed olive dish and deviled eggs for small bites. We loved both. Especially the deviled eggs! We loved Meadowlark! The space is well thought out and cozy. The drinks were delicious and innovative and the service was outstanding. Come early because the wait can get long. You won’t be disappointed.
Local bar featuring pool tables, darts & 75-inch TVs, as well as an outdoor patio.
Had my 30th birthday party in the back room here and it was perfect! No room fee, no bar minimums, and we could bring in our own food and decorations. Also had access to the outdoor space which was awesome! Everyone in my group commented on how nice the bartenders were and drinks were pretty cheap. Would absolutely recommend!!
This place is a fun and spacious bar that offers pool and other games to play. The crowd is a mixed age atmosphere with everyone being respectful of each other. Shoutout to Addie, the nicest and realest bartender who can always accommodate with drinks and splitting our group’s tab for our party whenever we come in! Thanks to everyone at ten cat for always giving us a good time!
Chill neighborhood bar with brews, pool & event nights in a convivial locale with eclectic decor.
I lived around the corner from Inner Town in the mid 90's. It was not a fancy uptown bar but a place to chill out and relax - with a great jukebox. I went there nightly and eventually met my wife there. We've been married 25 years and we still go back once in awhile. It's not changed at all! Now my daughter hangs out there. I'm a huge fan of Inner Town and I hope it continues to serve us cool kids, who are maybe a little awkward, forever.
Neighborhood dive bar, cash only. The bartenders were pretty quick and attentive on a busy Saturday night. Lively atmosphere but not too crowded or wild
Brian with Surreal Nightlife set us up perfect!! We had a table share and had an awesome time. He followed up to make sure all went well. 100% recommend using him for all your Vegas experiences.
Brian shall take care of you. Excellent service. This man always delivers and makes sure you’re happy. Will definitely recommend. He is kind and communicates and always knows a good party. Vegas or Chicago he doesn’t disappoint.
I will absolutely never do business in this building again. The valet staff were rude and lied to me. If other staff within the building are this rude, I would not want to work or be a customer there. I would rather leave this complaint with the valet management directly, but this is the only means of contact I’ve found. I will gladly call valet management if I find their information. Explanation: Valet staff were incredibly rude and forced us out of public parking. We have a clearly posted disability parking placard. After pulling into a metered parking spot, valet staff immediately came to my window. They asked what I was doing, to which I replied “parking”. Their demeanor was unnecessarily rude, as if we had read the signs incorrectly. They told us that this was valet parking only. However, we had clearly parked within metered parking signs. The valet parking signs were in front of us with plenty of space for valet. The valet staff repeatedly told us that we needed to have business within the building to park here. This was a lie, as there are clearly posted metered parking signs. This forced us to park further and walk 2 additional blocks (while struggling with a disability). We passed the building as we walked and saw that they had allowed someone else to park in the spot.
The Chicago club experience for my friend and I was absolutely wonderful! My son took us there for lunch when she was visiting from Champaign Urbana. The Terrace is absolutely beautiful and the view is fantastic. The inside dining room was also beautiful with a spectacular view of the lakefront. We got excellent critiques on the food for lunch that day from both the waiter and the maitre’d. The food was excellent. It was my first experience at the Chicago club, and it was thoroughly enjoyable!
Had a decent experience here overall. The bar is inside a store called, “Moon Palace Express”. When we came in, we asked if this was Nine Bar and got a bit of attitude from the guy at the front. The place has a decent amount of seating. The tables along the wall aren’t really appropriately sized cos you can’t put your legs under them, so they should be a bit taller. The cocktails were on the sweeter side. Tried the cold noodles and they were decent. I liked the crispiness of the grilled chicken.
Located inside "moon palace" this speak easy esq bar features a very good selection of Asian inspired cocktails, some small bites, and a wonderful atmosphere. Decor is great, noise level is about perfect for this kind of space, and staff were very friendly. Y'all need to let Tim moonlight as a bartender more often 😉
Laid-back watering hole with sports on TV, dart boards & drink specials in a dog-friendly space.
We came to check it out. We are always open to exploring dog friendly places. The service was OK. The space is nice. It has a pool table and darts to play. Great place to bring your four-legged friend.
Place is great. Pool, darts, video golf, and a pop a shot basketball game. Staff is welcoming and accommodating. My favorite bar in Chicago!
Neighborhood pub & sports bar with European soccer on TV, a jumbo beer list & British fare.
Had a delicious traditional English breakfast there Sunday morning. Service was great. Closest thing you will get to the real deal in Chicago.
You want to like this place. But the bartenders refuse to look at you. It must be a “European” thing. We were looking forward to the food, told the bartender we wanted to look at the menu and then never came back. And we sat at the bar and I finished my beer, in a glass, that was clearly empty. Went 15 minutes without a glance. The bar back finally said something but I just closed out. Did t get to try the food. Update. They never put my CC with the receipt. Went back 30 minutes later and my wife’s empty beer can and the two empty beer cans from before were still there.
I had a great time at this bar! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with good music and a nice crowd. Our server, Angelo, made the experience even better—he was attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations on drinks. Everything came out quickly, and he checked on us just the right amount without being pushy. Thanks to Angelo, the night felt smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
I had an amazing time with Toni. She happened to come up and made me feel amazing and made feel the same as every one else and I’m gay. She is an absolute amazingly sexy tattooed Asian. She also gave me a better massage than the spa around my hotel. She was super sweet. Cheers Chicago!!!
Restaurant/lounge featuring creative American food & craft cocktails in space with a speakeasy vibe.
We had such a great time here! The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the whole atmosphere made our visit really enjoyable. We came to celebrate my birthday, and everything was perfect. A special thanks to Andy, the manager. he was fantastic and made the night extra special. Highly recommend this place!
What an experience! When entering and heading downstairs, it's like walking into a swanky whole new world. Awesome jazzy vibe. Delicious food. Amazing whiskey. Fabulous service. Incredible venue for upscale business dinner or a super romantic night out.
This upscale sports bar offers an eclectic menu in a slick, loungey space with plentiful plasma TVs.
Probably the best sports bar I have ever been to! They are open and ready for any and all sports, including early F1 starts! I had heard about an F1 bar in Chicago and as I was staying nearby I decided to check it out for qualifying. I ended up being the only one there for the start of it, and that gave me the chance to talk to the owner and the staff. They were all super friendly and they all gave me the vibe that it’s a great place to work and love the high energy environment that game day brings. They were gearing up for the Iowa game that day and you could feel the anticipation as the bar began to fill up as qualifying ended. Came back in for the race on Sunday and it was incredible to be in a place where everyone was locked into an F1 race! The atmosphere here is the best of any sports bar I’ve been to, hands down! I haven’t even mentioned the food & drink yet. The brunch options are short & sweet. All the classics including eggs, bacon, and baked goods. The Chilaquiles I got on Saturday tasted so fresh. They might actually make their own salsa verde because it was one of the best I’ve ever had. For the race they had French toast which was phenomenal; homemade batter and caked with cinnamon, every bite was a crunchy & sweet delight! Onto the drinks. The prices are pretty in line with other bars in the area. Drafts are $7 and house cocktails are $10. They definitely give you your moneys worth with the cocktails and don’t skimp on the liquor. Overall, absolutely fantastic experience. From the energy of the patrons to the staff, the food, and drinks. Put theory at the top of your list of places to visit in River North and if you’re into F1 and able to get to Chicago for race days, absolutely do not miss out on this! I will be coming back here any time I’m in Chicago and there’s a race on!
First time at Theory. Known for streaming sports and now gaining attention for Love Island USA watch parties. The place was packed for the finale, full of fans and energy. They are TVs everywhere so every seat is good. The small bites were good for a watch party vibe. Our server was doing her best despite the crowd, but it was definitely a bit hard to track her down. The drinks were not that great unfortunately. For a place like this I would focus on the quality of drinks that are served. Overall, it’s a fun spot with a lively atmosphere for both sports and reality TV fans.
Long-running watering hole featuring American fare in a comfy, vintage setting.
Had a drink. Awesome old school Speakeasy. The dark wood walls and decor look original. A lot of history here to admire while you sip your drink. Go past restrooms down stairs to Speakeasy The Drifter. Will need to get added to waiting list to get in.
Great atmosphere and food. This is a great tavern, spur of the moment, we stopped for a bite to eat. It was pretty busy, so we sat at bar. The friendly bartender recommended the devil eggs, and they did not disappoint! The burger and fries were delicious!
Stylish bar inside The Hoxton offering craft cocktails & live music amid prohibition-chic decor.
Nice cocktail bar with an interesting menu, plenty of seating, and speakeasy vibes. Didn't adore the cocktail I received, but would try more options next time we're in Chicago.
Very cool concept bar , downstairs within the Hoxton Hotel. Nice rotating special cocktail menu with very intricate cocktails ! Waitress was helpful in guiding me through their extensive menu of >50 cocktails (which can easily overwhelm any body). Very limited bites (steak or fries) but the steak skewers were delicious !!! Definitely more of a drinks place - don’t come here hungry. The vibes were lively and enjoyable.
Po' boys, gumbo & jambalaya, plus cocktails, in a hip venue with red leather booths & chandeliers.
They allowed my fiancé and I to come in a little early to the speakeasy for our engagement photo shoot. The staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating and we truly appreciated them for letting us do this. The speakeasy is the perfect vibe that we were hoping for, dark and moody with some older charm. Drinks were also fantastic!
Happy Hour is a must!!! You definitely bang for your buck with good portions. I enjoyed the okra and savory beignets. Red beans and rice were a nice comfort food. It’s not a dish I would get each time, but worth trying if you want some warm goodness. I highly recommend the frozen hurricane!
Super Cool vibe here! They play great music! Lighting's great the music is at the perfect level to enjoy it but not be overwhelmed by it. Bartenders Rock! We were there for about 40 minutes and it went from four people to about 30 people very quickly. We will be back!
The name says it all. Definitely the best (and one of the only if you want to avoid karaoke) bar in Chinatown. The location is a short walk from the main square in Chinatown and around a lot of the good restaurants. It’s also a short walk from a the L station. Stopped in between meals and shopping to grab a beer. Both servers were really nice and able to chat a bit since it was early and not busy yet.
Dark. Brooding. Cash only. During the daylight hours you can often hear a pin drop among the silent patrons and the absence of any background music. Enough light gets in through the front windows to read at tables, making this a perfect place to finish a work day or read alone. None of this is to suggest the patrons or staff are unfriendly, I’ve had plenty of lengthy conversations with a stranger in hushed tones and enjoyed jeopardy with the barkeep. The occult enthusiasts will also love to know the bar is widely spoken of as haunted? Google it, not my bag. If you love a dim narrow dive on a cloudy day, you can’t do better then this
The vibe in here is fun and energetic, despite not being a huge place. There are lots of drink options in the cooler, and the bartender was super friendly. Definitely a great place.
Tin-ceiling bar with budget beers, hard-boiled eggs & a jukebox filled with rat-pack classics.
The vibe here is incredible. If you’re lucky you’ll catch Tony behind the bar. A friend told me about this place when I was coming to town, and I’m so glad I stopped in because I had one of the best nights out. This bar feels like it carries so much character and culture. A great mix of locals and folks passing through. Incredible music and patrons who appreciate good music. The bartender Tony is outstanding at his job, it was a treat to meet him and watch him interact with people throughout the night. He introduced me to folks & made me feel so welcome & is just an interesting dude in general. Plus the smoking part is a huge sell for me and something you don’t experience often. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!
This place is not a dive bar by any stretch. It’s a time capsule to 1955 and looks like it belongs in a Mad Men episode. the bartenders look like they would have reached retirement age 65 years ago. Don’t look for friendly and invite- although no one was rude - but they aren’t Sam Malones either. But that’s ok. Enjoy the original peephole doors, the ancient photos and the nicotine painted menu board with plastic moveable numbers and letters. Soak it all in.
Watering hole featuring games, a jukebox & TV sports in rustic cabinlike digs since 1957.
Great place...it's the history of Chicago wrapped up in a bar. Servers were great..really nice. Patrons were fun. We had a great time!
Margarita was AMAZING! Every time I’m here she makes us feel at home! Love herrr! Definitely check this place out!
Went at 11am for a Saturday brunch and it was a decent crowd. Definitely recommend making reservations beforehand. The DJ was great. They had football and baseball playing on the televisions. The food was absolutely delicious! However, the bartender was horrible. She wasn’t even bartending, the barback was making all the drinks that came in. She didn’t speak to us until we had to flag her down to order. Also, she got my drink order wrong, then served me a drink that had been returned by a table. As if I wasn’t sitting at the bar and could see. Then the bill included a gratuity for just me, after such horrible service. My 4 stars are solely based on the tastiness of the food and the amazing DJ.
Parlay is a fantastic spot if you're looking for a fun atmosphere and great food! It's become a go-to for birthday celebrations, and for good reason. The music always sets a lively mood, and the service is top-notch. Definitely a place to check out if you want a memorable night out.
Rock- & blues-themed restaurant & bar serving Southern-inspired dishes, plus live music.
Massively oversold for the show, so crowded it felt dangerous to be in there, VIP options were exorbitant, drink prices were about average for music venues, which is to say, totally overpriced and unreasonable. 30 minutes after doors, and 30 minutes before the show started, the bathrooms were clean and basically empty, the bar close to the entrance was already very crowded and never seemed to stop being crowded. The venue itself was beautiful architecturally and had really interesting art and design elements. The sound was better than the lighting, but both were fine.
Went to a DJ dance event that was held in the magnificent place. I was only on the 4th floor and it was beautiful so I can only imagine what the other floors look like. There is a public restaurant on ground level where you can enjoy a nice time dining. No parking and if there is your paying downtown garage rates by the hour which could possibly cost you about 45-60.00 depending on where you park.
Bar staff shared their knowledge and really highlighted what made their specially cocktails special. We tried about 8 different cocktails, all delicious with plenty of depth. The food menu is small but is executed at a high level. Can’t go wrong with hot and crispy fries. The duck wings were moist on the inside and perfectly cooked on the outside with a sticky sauce glaze. The chicken buns were soft and a great treat that balanced out my Tripe Coconut Old Fashioned at the end of my meal. I recommend getting here just before 9pm as it filled up pretty quickly after.
I was truly impressed by the decor and the serene, spotless ambiance of this place. The bartender was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I absolutely loved the cocktails perfectly balanced and crafted with care and the caviar was exceptionally flavorful. Everything felt thoughtfully curated and harmoniously put together. I'm genuinely happy for anyone who gets to enjoy this experience. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
Pub with TVs, billiards & a large menu of bar food, with daily food & drink specials.
My daughter and I were in Chicago for The Mayhem Ball. O'Tooles was only two blocks from our hotel so we decided to eat there our first night, a Wednesday. I loved the fact that it's underground! We came in just before 7pm, there were no kids, so I asked the hostess if my under 21 date was ok to come in, she said "yes, you're fine since it's before 7." We were seated immediately. It was quiet for a bar/grill atmosphere, lots of TVs but no volume up on them. Several diners around us, some alone, a couple pairs, and one group of 6 people in our area. It was steady but not bustling. After traveling all day, we were grateful for a chill vibe. Our server was Liam. He was sweet and pleasant. Mostly quiet, but, if I remember right, he did engage us in conversation about Smashing Pumpkins (my daughter had on a shirt). My daughter ordered the cobb salad with ranch. It was loaded with all the goods and was very fresh and delicious. I got the reuben with fries and I ordered an old fashioned. The sandwich was tasty. The marble rye was grilled to golden perfection and they didn't skimp on the corned beef. The fries were really good for being plain fries, but would have been terrific with a special seasoning as optional or a shaker on the table. The old fashioned was delicious. I hope we can come back to Chicago again because I'd absolutely come back to O'Tooles to try something else. I highly recommend!
This is my favorite bar in Chicago. The food is absolutely delicious and always fresh, and the atmosphere is great whether you come by yourself to watch sports or with a group of friends. This place has never let me down.
Easygoing game-day choice with a long bar featuring American grub & a large array of draft beers.
I been starting to come to place and I always live by it. Let me just say wow! This place is great, food is tasty, service is great and fast. Music is good too! Shout out to Kim the bartender who is always making me feel welcome.
Purchased two Lagunitas IPAs at the bar for $10 a piece and tipped $5 on them, all in cash. This was before I scanned the QR code (which is on the bar) and discovered they’re priced on their website at $7 a piece. When I asked the bartender about the higher difference in price, the response I received was something about how she “just works here” and that I payed the “at the bar” price. When I asked how I could pay the “online price” I was told she doesn’t know.
Bourbon, craft beer & pub snacks offered in chill, traditional digs with shuffleboard & video games.
This is my after work go-to! Between the pleasant bouncer, D to the Amazon bartenders Sophie, Rodney, Kevin, Hannah, and Chris. I am always please with the energy, mercy and service. It’s a good go-to for our tourists as well. I’ve had some great connection from our out of townerssss.
Stunned by the quality of there burger. The quality of meat, the caramelized onions, the butter toated bun... very good. Large pretzel was not warm only semi-negative for myself. The bartender was excellent, good quality and range of bourbon and whiskey options. Excellent old fashion...I asked for Basil Hayden.
Hip, stylish rooftop bar/eatery at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel with choice seasonal fare.
Delicious food and generous portions — we tried the salmon, meat, and a roasted carrot starter, all outstanding. The atmosphere is great, and the rooftop view over Millennium Park is spectacular. You can grab a drink without a reservation, but I recommend booking ahead for the restaurant. Definitely worth the visit!
Our favorite thing was the garlic bread, best one we’ve ever had! The scallops were good too. The tuna was different but good. My boyfriend also loved the oysters. Very nice view of Chicago
High-energy regular live music shows in a popular bar chain featuring novelty bucket drinks.
I got happy hour party reservation here. Me and my friends all had a good time. One of my friends requested their favourite song to be played as well. Service was fast initially, the place started getting packed up real quick and a little slower with service later. The quantity of individual drink is on the lesser side. I got nachos, they were good, pretzel was okayish, too salty, fries were good, my friend got wings, she liked it.
Excellent place to spend a Friday night, especially if you want to get started at an early hour. 3 different pianists took turns on the keys, drums, and even bass and guitar. Music ranged from Classic rock of the 60s to modern pop tunes that had everyone on the dance floor.
Lively sports bar with a wide range of bar food from salads to steaks, plus a patio & roof-deck.
My husband and I stopped in for a snack. We shared a burger. It was delicious. I ordered a margarita. It was not good at all. I don’t know if they make these at the bar if they use a premix, but it tasted like pre-mixed base.
WHAT WE ORDERED ✨ Drinks 🍸 - Lychee for Me-chee! - Lemon drop martini Apps 🍴 - Tokyo Fries - Duck empanadas *Not pictured* 😭 - The comeback burger - Skillet cookie 🍪✨ My favorite?? The lychee martini and the fries!!!!! You have to get them!!! We walked in on a Sunday evening no reservations needed as it wasn’t packed😊
Neighborhood bar & grill offering craft beers, classic pub grub served late & soccer on TV.
I’ve been dropping into Cleo’s for over 10 years. The food is excellent and the beer is fresh - I’ve never once been disappointed. Great Handshake deals, too.
The food was delicious especially the first night we were in Chicago it was super late around 930/10p we got there pretty late and our firs time in Chicago well we couldnt find much open serving food till I found this spot and let me tell you this place doesn't disappoint. We went there had burgers pretzels and beer cheese the first night than we decided to Uber there sat night also after the Ateez concert and the nachos and quesdillas were delicious 😋
Creative craft cocktails made with interesting ingredients & diverse eats in a hip space.
This was our favourite cocktail spot in Chicago. It’s casual, with an excellent vibe. The bartenders were all very friendly and made excellent recommendations. The service was fast. But, the cocktails were all a solid 10/10. A bonus 10/10 for the excellent music.
The atmosphere in the lobby was 10/10! Open bar experience. Went here for the first time to perform for Breaking Sound and was amazed by the ambience of the lobby. Def open to going back or recommend for visitors to stay.
Swanky cocktail lounge with intricate drinks in super creative presentations & clever small bites.
We went to The Aviary..it was my first time at the most iconic cocktail spot in Chicago..and let me tell you, I was so excited, and it did not disappoint! Every drink was delicious, rich in flavor, and beautifully crafted. They were paired with tiny bites that matched each one perfectly. We ended the night with an ice cream dessert and a coffee liqueur drink… pure perfection! The service was amazing! The staff were so attentive, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Highly recommend!! 👍🏻
Went for our 10 year anniversary- Such a unique experience for those who appreciate cocktail culture and bartenders alike. Nothing about this place radiated pretentious or stuck up. The vibes were amazing, art deco inspired decor with some low key hip hop playing on the speakers. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable, and didn’t mind my slow pace or try to rush us! The cocktails were boozy and portioned well along with the small bites. We expressed to our server we based our trip to Chicago around our love for the books and coming to The Aviary, so she offered to have someone give us a tour of the establishment. It was pretty dope, got to see behind the bar and kitchen counter, the basement/prep areas, a few other spots, and ended in the speakeasy. Honorable mention to the wonderful Host who gave us a list of food and cocktail recommendations in the city. Thank you for the awesome hospitality! We will be back :)
Upgraded bar-food classics pair with craft beer & signature cocktails in a rustic-chic space.
We loved everything about this place. Quick service. Friendly very knowledgeable bartender. Baby I can tell when he was making my drink ( the only drink I drink) that it was gonna be perfect. Amazing well executed. Seemingly a lot of locals. Vibes. Music not too loud. A good mix. Reasonable. In and outdoor seating along with some classic games. Highly recommend.
The Rabbit Hole never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, there's an undeniable vibe — welcoming, eclectic, and just the right amount of fun. The staff is a huge part of what makes this place special. Chris brings energy and charm, Ebony always makes sure you're taken care of with a smile, and Colin keeps things smooth and professional behind the bar. But let’s talk about Maya. Simply put, she’s in a league of her own. Maya isn’t just the best bartender at The Rabbit Hole — she’s the best on Wells Street, hands down. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time through the door, she remembers your name, your drink, and somehow still manages to make every guest feel like the most important person in the room. Her cocktails are consistently on point, and her vibe sets the tone for an unforgettable night. The Rabbit Hole is lucky to have this crew, but Maya? She is the magic behind the bar.
Bi-level bar serving pub/comfort food & beer specials amid industrial tavern decor & TVs.
Definitely a great place to watch the game or just to grab a drink and/or dinner on any night. The large open atmosphere makes you feel like you can actually breath and relax at a bar. The food was awesome! Not to mention they don’t skimp on portions. Great specials and the bartender on Wednesday evenings is kick ass!
I went to watch an NBA finals game last week. Food: I had BBQ Wings. The ranch on the side was average. The wings were eh. I truly felt like the chicken wasn't seasoned at all and it was just cooked and the sauce was added at the end. Respectfully speaking, a load of seasoning isn't needed, just add seasonings before cooking. The taste was bland. The wings have potential. You got this Chef! Drinks: I had an Old Fashioned made by Hannah and WHEW! (In a good way) Service: It started going up (in a good way) once Hannah took over. She provided good service! Atmosphere: Average sports bar noise. Not too loud to where you had to yell. Final Thoughts: It was ok. It was standard (no pun intended lol). Hannah was great though!
Soaring, glamorous venue featuring high-end Asian cuisine & cocktails, plus a posh nightclub.
Sunday brunch buffet. Good experience, took us early for our reservation and great service. Cool vibe and large selection of food. Enjoyed the nigiri - very fresh and high quality. The shrimp shumai was my favorite out of the dumplings. The bao buns were soft and flavorful. The salmon was excellent. The dessert station had a nice variety with the standouts the raspberry macarons and the chocolate fountain. It’s quite expensive, which may keep me from returning - but overall a positive experience for something new to try!
Food was alright for pan Asian style. It is definitely westernized Asian food, which my palate is not used to when eating dim sum. Not great but not bad either. I did enjoy the shucked oysters and nigiri though! Cocktails are also fantastic.
Inventive cuisine & crafted cocktails are served at this industrial chic hangout with brick walls.
Love this place. Me and my partner always come here for the wings and the southwestern salad. All the servers here are super friendly and nice. Great bar food.
Nice apps, pet friendly bar, waitress was really nice, served ice cold water and pup cup to puppy, outdoor patio was warm due to weather but both indoor and outdoor tables were full to watch NBA finals!
Retro-chic lounge offering classic cocktails & finger foods, plus bocce, pool, cards & foosball.
Game Room inside the Chicago Athletic Association hotel delivers an exceptional dining experience with perfectly crafted cocktails and satisfying food in a stunning historic setting. The combination of quality drinks, delicious burgers, and unique atmosphere makes this spot a must-visit when in the area (especially if you're staying at the hotel). The Old Fashioned here is truly outstanding. According to the bartender, they batch make it with what he believes is Eagle Rare bourbon (though they've been experimenting with different options). Whatever their formula, it results in a perfectly balanced cocktail that highlights the quality of the spirits they're using. For food, I went with the Double Smashburger with Cheese, which was impressively juicy and flavorful. The real standout companions were the fries, which came cooked to exactly the right level of crispiness; not too soft, not too crunchy, but just perfect. If you've read my other reviews, you know I'm particular about fry texture, and these hit the mark perfectly. The atmosphere might be the most distinctive aspect of Game Room. The preserved historic architecture of the Chicago Athletic Association creates a unique ambiance that you simply can't find in newer establishments. The space maintains its old-world charm while functioning as a modern dining venue and true to its name, game room (although I was only here for the food and drinks). Should you visit Game Room inside the Chicago Athletic Association hotel, I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I did!
The Game Room is such a fun and lively spot! The food was delicious, with plenty of options to share and enjoy – everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff making the experience even better. The atmosphere is vibrant and casual, perfect for a night out with friends or family. I especially enjoyed the unique vibe of the space and the fun activities available while dining. Highly recommend checking this place out for a laid-back and enjoyable evening!
Laid-back sports bar & grill with burgers, wings & other pub fare plus craft beers on tap.
The quintessential neighborhood bar in the loop no others compare. If you have the pleasure to sit in front of Matt at the bar you will barely wait for a drink and if you're not sure of the craft beer you'd like off the menu trust his suggestions after you advise what you like. If you sit at a table, rest assured, any and all of your severs do not walk to get you your drinks they run... if they can, sometimes there's the after work crowd for them to navigate, but since they know most of them, the regulars always make room.
Stopped by Stocks & Blondes after work, classic Loop dive under the 'L'. Grabbed the "Stocks" Burger and a Fat Tire draft. Burger was solid, nothing fancy, but hit the spot. Beer was cold and cheap. Place gets packed around 5pm, so snag a seat early. Service was friendly, though a bit slow when it's busy. Good spot for a no-frills bite and a brew downtown.
Wood-paneled watering hole with daily drink specials & games such as Ping-Pong & foosball.
It’s a dive bar in every sense of the term. Which is not a bad thing. I did however get racist micro aggressions from staff . It’s a mostly white crowd. Again not a problem. I actually prefer that lol My main complaint is with the bartender with the man bun/ponytail. He basically tried to accuse me of IDENTITY THEFT bc I was using my husbands card and he tried to act as if giving me MY CARD(it’s only the husbands by name. It’s literally my card) back was some hassle. The implication from a WHITE MAN to a black woman that he didn’t want to give me my card back bc how does he know it’s mine. Mind you as this accusation is happening I am literally on the phone with my husband like I had been the last hour of my visit. Sir, I’m Also a bartender. I have never once in 12 years of doing this given much thought about someone’s name and the card as long as they know the name. At the end of the day if I was using someone’s card unauthorized I Would be in trouble not him or the bar. How many rich men come in and their escorts use their cards lol. There is also company cards. When I came back again he unfortunately was working. Admittedly I was a bit sassy. More in a playful way bc this Time I was using my own debit card so I Joked with him to ease the tension. I guess he is not used to someone matching his energy and got in his feelings so he stopped serving me which truthfully I was ok with bc the other bartender actually was good. But I never have been more offended in my life and that says a lot. The bar itself is fine for what Is but the micro aggression and Implications rubbed me the wrong way.
The bar was great! The guy bartender with long curly hair was awful and ruined our experience. Felt like our party was bothering him every time we needed a round of drink or shots and we were lie maintance. The only time we got quick attention was when we paid the tab and he seen my message about how his service was and then finally got his attention and he got mad about it. I’ve owned bars and would never want him anywhere near my staff. Besides him everything was great.
Had the Chicken wings with Fries ..A shot of Crown Royal on the rocks and A Miller lite ....every thing was good ... OQ
Sooooo it’s my birthday and coming out Friday 8/22 just making sure you still have the mechanical bull for some sexy ladies to ride 🥳
Hip indoor/outdoor hotel lounge featuring craft cocktails, small plates & a deck with skyline views.
Such a great spot for cocktails with a view! 🍸 We stopped by for a few drinks and a bite, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, with stunning views of the Chicago skyline all around. Perfect place to unwind, enjoy well-crafted cocktails, and share some delicious bites. The food was surprisingly good for a rooftop bar, flavorful and nicely presented. Highly recommend for date nights, out-of-town guests or just treating yourself ❤️
Nice vibes + good food and drinks = a great birthday celebration. When our party of 8 arrived there was a long wait for the outdoor terrace so we opted for a cozy section near the bar. We had a great time.
Trendy hot spot with marble-topped bars, elevated DJ booth & a vibrant, trendy crowd.
I came here for a 2000s party and I liked the scene very cool and such a vibe. The issue I had was with the bartender it was a white man that told a bunch of my friends and me that the bar was only cash but it’s funny cause my other friend was able to use card and buy a drink which makes no sense. I came back around and somebody else was there with him who actually said yes we take card and I was able to get a drink. Please have respectful bartenders because why is he lying to people’s faces. Other than that I had a great night and I definitely will come back.
I came from DC to enjoy one night at this place. The entrance fees were $40 per person which was okay. The music started okay (Ukrainian I guess) and then we expected some English music but non of that was played unfortunately. I was disappointed unfortunately. I don’t recommend it
A summer hotspot on the 27th floor of theWit Hotel, with skyline views & upmarket cocktails.
Came here to enjoy an after work happy hour and loved it! We were a pretty big group but we were able to be seated fairly easily which was much appreciated. The drinks were really great! Had a wide variety and you’ll instantly earn cool points for having a Penicillin on the menu. Service was good too and this spot is absolutely beautiful - I walked in and was so amazed. I can’t speak to the food as we only tried the pizza which was good. Overall I’d definitely come back for drinks if I lived in the area.
This is a cool rooftop bar with a lively party vibe in the heart of Chicago. The drinks are excellent, and the service is outstanding. The bartenders and servers are super friendly. The music is loud and energizing, so if you're looking to stay hyped, this is the place to be. In addition to the main bar area with a retractable roof, there's also a lounge-style section where you can relax and enjoy your food and drinks. This area also offers better views. Highly recommend for a fun night out!
Sports bar with second floor batting cages, skeeball & other games, along with a dueling piano bar.
A fun sports bar for drinks, food, and entertainment. Its actually a really big place with two floors. They have dueling pianos, batting cages, and other games. The have a stage for live music as well. Service was quick and the staff was very nice. I would definitely go back next time I am in the area.
I stopped in here for a couple pints and some food before a Cubs game. Great vibe, quick attentive service and some tasty eats! Decent beer options on tap as well! If I ever visit Wrigleyville again, I'll definitely give this place a go once again!!
Three chic levels of hotel rooftop drinking & dining with indoor/outdoor seats & sweeping views.
We were staying at the hotel so we Came up here to check out. What a fun atmosphere. Everybody was having a good time. Make a reservation. First come first serve. The place was full of people. Great place to meet up. We were going to eat something but ended up leaving quickly because there were no seats available for us. The staff seemed nice. Only 6 people allowed in the elevator at any one time so it may take a while before you can go upstairs. Fun place with great views.
I visited LH Rooftop and was blown away by the incredible skyline views, which really made the evening feel special. The cocktails were fantastic, but the food, while good, didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The vibe was chic and vibrant, though it leaned a bit too crowded and noisy at times
Sleek spot for French-accented American fare & full bar in low-lit environs with DJs & dancing.
Had a wonderful time Covington's club tonight. The DJ was going crazy with the reggae , afrobeats, and reggaeton vibes. Sadly, I had to leave before I was ready. Regardless, this was an amazing club, and did an amazing job making me feel special.
Went here with a few friends a couple weeks ago. We had a very litt experience. The DJ was definitely DJing playing all Afrobeats (which we had hoped for since this was a Afrobeats night) and didn't stray away and start playing hip hop. The lady checking people in had a serious look on her face that wasn't very welcoming but overall the vibes were definitely littt. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and actually was dancing and not just standing around. The drinks were pretty expensive compared to other clubs I've been to in the same area. The bartender had great customer service and took good care of me and my friends. Parking was horrible. Took us about an hr to find a parking spot about 3 blocks away no exaggeration.
Bustling sports bar with live music, bar food, billiards & a lively post-Cubs baseball game scene.
Hit up The Cubby Bear after a Cubs game—vibe was electric, crowd was hyped. Ordered the Buffalo Wings and Garlic Fries; wings were decent, but the fries were a bit soggy. Had a couple of beers, and the tab came out to around $50. Service was friendly but stretched thin—took a while to get our drinks. Great spot for post-game energy, but the food and service could use a little polish.
I love this place!!!! The bf and I walked in to jello shots (sold immediately), there's multiple different areas to grab food and drinks which is so inviting, and the FOOD was amazing. My boyfriend has never been to Wrigleyville before and he had never had a true chicago dog.. when we went to order food I noticed it was on the menu and YES SO MUCH YES. A true chicago dog in the heart of being at a baseball game = top notch. It was PERFECT. Ordered it as is, and I'll just mention that I don't like most of the ingredients in a chicago dog but all together? Mouthgasm!!!! He was in heaven, I was in heaven, the vibes of cubby bear, highly recommend coming here when in wrigleyville!!! And all the sports memorabilia to go along with it tops it all off
Sports bar with 7 10-foot screens, an American menu, extensive beer list & late-night hours.
I went on Sunday for the Chicago Bears and Cubs game. Several NFL games were playing, and the person next to me was a Jets fan, while the person on the other side was a Ravens fan—we all got really into it together. I'll definitely go again. It was a great place.
The energy was definitely in the room. My party of 8 entered and sat ourselves at a table. The bar was completely filled. We sat unattended for sometime. It was difficult identifying staff. After a few more moment I noticed a staff member, who directed me to the servers. It would be helpful if there was a uniform type garment available. Anyhow servers were engaged immensely at the bar. We eventually ordered multiple drinks and light food items. The services was quick and efficient. The food was cook to perfection. Drink were exactly what we expected. The server checked in a few times. Seeming the attention was to the bar area. It seemed that the server provided our check although we did not suggest we were close out.
I don’t usually leave reviews but this was such a bad experience that I feel like I need to warn other people thinking of coming here to watch the games this football season. We came on the first Sunday of the NFL season expecting to eat and drink and watch the games together as a fantasy league but experienced some of the worst service I've ever had in my life. We got there at 11:40 right before the first games started and were seated at a table in the back room, there were maybe 2 other tables seated but the rest were empty. We weren’t given menus and there wasn’t a QR code on the table. Finally one of us looked up the menu on our phones so we could order when the server got there. An hour passed, a server never came. A server came to some of the tables around us as more people got sat but nobody came to our table. Some of the surrounding tables who had been waiting just as long as us started getting up and flagging down the server or going to the bar to order. We finally flagged the server down and asked him if he could take our order and he came over and when we tried to order an appetizer platter he said « we don’t have that anymore » and left to get us menus but didn’t come back for like 15 minutes only to drop the menus off and leave without taking an order. Finally after another 20-30 minutes a couple of us went up to the bar to order some food and drinks because it had been 90 minutes at this point. I feel bad for the bartender because you could tell they were clearly understaffed and she was doing her best to keep up with everyone ordering at the bar and also coming up from the tables to place their orders with her. We ordered some waffle fries, cheese curds, and a double order of wings with Buffalo and garlic Parmesan sauce along with some drinks. We didn’t get the food until like 2:00, nearly 2 and a half hours after we got there. When the food finally came it was the wrong order but at that point we were all so hungry that nobody cared. When the food finally came we ended up getting wings with a sweet and spicy sauce, regular fries, and cheese curds and none of it was bad, but after waiting for 2 and half hours for the wrong order we were really just over the whole experience. I don’t think we will be coming back, and next week will probably just try to coordinate to meet at someone’s house where at least we can be guaranteed to get food and drinks within a reasonable amount of time.
Over/Under was one of my favorite stops during my Chicago trip. The bar is welcoming, inviting, and full of life. There or numerous TVs showing games and odds for every event. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and provided us a tour of the space. There is a front bar, back bar and a more private extra area, possibly for events. The food was good but a touch expensive in my opinion. They sold $8 22oz domestic taps, which thought was a good deal. I’d go back to watch any sporting event and hang out with fellow sports/betting fans.
Just went to Seven tonight and they turned us down claiming out IDs were fake and even though it’s an 18+ club didn’t let my 20 yr old friends in..RIDICULOUS. I understand security caring about their jobs and being safe but they turned us down for no reason and were very disrespectful for to us. It’s really upsetting to us because we’ve been multiple times before and now will never come again. And never recommending to others either.
I had an extremely uncomfortable and upsetting experience with one of the bouncers at this club. When I arrived with my two Latina friends, they were barely checked—bags not searched, and barely a pat down. But when it was my turn (I’m African American), I was thoroughly searched in a way that felt excessive and targeted. The bouncer dug through my bag without cause and shook my chest multiple times, which felt invasive and inappropriate. There was no reason for me to be treated so differently from the people I walked in with. Whether it was bias or something else, no one should have to feel singled out, disrespected, or violated just to get into a nightclub. I hope the staff is held accountable and that this kind of behavior is taken seriously going forward.
Amazing club atmosphere in the heart of Chicago. The bartenders are always fast with the drinks, have amazing service and the bottle service girls will get you right. They really provide the full upscale club experience. Can’t wait to come back for Social Saturdays 💕
This place is super money hungry. They still made me pay an extra $20 at the door even though I was just 5 minutes late due to my Uber driver pulling up a little after the early entry timeframe that prepaid for online (which ended at 11), despite trying to plea that it was my first time in Chicago as a visitor and I did not realize that the traffic would cause me to be a few moments behind. Every drink I ordered was $15, even though they were super mediocre drinks like a French 76, lemon drop, and tequila sunrise. There’s no seating throughout the bar, so they try to force you to utilize sections which cost $160 per person. Overall, I could’ve stayed in my hometown (Cleveland) and had a way better experience than this. If I could give this place a negative star I would.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Unforgettable Night! From the moment we walked in, the energy was electric! The music was on point all night every set kept the crowd moving without a break. The DJs clearly knew how to read the room and keep the vibe alive. The staff were super friendly and professional, and the bartenders made some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time—quick service, even when it was packed. Lighting and visuals were incredible, and the sound system? Next-level. Crystal clear, deep bass, no distortion even at full volume. You can feel the music, not just hear it. The crowd was a great mix of people just there to have a good time—no drama, just good vibes all around. Security was present but respectful and low-key, which made the space feel both safe and free. Whether you're looking for a wild night out or just want to dance your stress away, this place delivers. Can’t wait to come back!
What can I say about this spot? True drink pours so get your drink on (responsibly, of course)! Cute, friendly bartenders please tip them well! Go-go dancer yes see previous tipping policy. Music always on point! And to top it off a depictions of one of my best friends from back in the day Jojo Baby!
Great Club with great music. Excellent vibes, and usually fun crowd! Demo on the Younger side so if you dont like that don't come. Also Drinks are expensive but that clubs in Chicago for you.
Went for the first time & had a blast! The bartender was amazing, very friendly, on point with the drinks, fast for how busy it was too. Definitely would come back to visit the bartender Jay on a Friday night!
Middle Eastern fare in a flashy space with intricate Moroccan details, a tri-level patio & a lounge.
It was a nice evening party. Terrace is good for small party . There is not a lot of space but beautiful and wide open spaces. Also they have the rooftop terrace which is nice and with a lot of flowers 👍🏻.The club is also good one, cozy atmosphere. Pretty much clear in side. But the restroom is not very clean and comfortable because the man’s room is open and you can see everything 🙅🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️.
This is THEE place to go for music/dancing, food, & to connect. The vibes are always good and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Their motivation is making people happy and sharing the best music and food with all that enter. I highly suggest checking it out!
Cozy, established venue with a dance floor, a VIP area & a sports bar, plus weekly events & DJs.
This place is huge with lots of seating a huge bar pool table and lots of space. Great for gatherings parties or just a night out.
Karaoke Wednesdays are fun. Love Rosa at the bar, she is always super friendly and attentive. A welcoming place
Long-running hangout featuring pool, TV sports & late hours, plus a menu of burgers & draft beer.
My native Chicagoan friend took me here. The Boss has had the same owner for over over 30 years, and he was sitting right out in front of the place when we walked up at 4 in the afternoon. He even remembered my friend from back in the day! This bar is an established venue right downtown with great atmosphere and surroundings. A perfect place to have a drink or two and enjoy the company of friends.
Beautiful little patio out front to have a cocktail and we ended up ordering an appetizer for our group. Waitress was nice and the gentleman out front helped us out getting a table was super friendly. Definitely would stop back again.
Basement dance club where DJs spin electronic, techno & house music.
We had so much fun! The mixed beverages at the front bar were not the best, but having access to high noon and rebull was redemption! We loved the music, the sound system was good quality, the staff were attentive, I've never been in a club that kept the floor SO CLEAN!! fantastic, will definitely be back!
Buy your tickets in advance! Favorite spot in Chicago for house music. Entry is always fast, no matter what time it is. Bouncers are ethical, reasonable, and friendly. Bar service is speedy and kind. Their merch is the best! Also love that you can sit down without being a VIP. Vibe on the floor is consistently solid - everyone is there to move to the music. Love Spybar!
I wish i can gave negative reviews, i had been into worlds best well known clubs and this one is worst ever experience i had. Very bad experience. They don’t have a smoking room inside. I asked for one, and the bartender suggested I go outside. When I stepped out to smoke and tried to re-enter with a stamp on my hand, security still made me wait in the regular line. I ended up waiting for more than two hour just to get back in and rejoin my group. I just wanted to get inside because my whole group is inside. Else i left that place immediately. On top of that, the drinks are very expensive, the music isn’t that good, and overall it felt like a complete waste of time and money. Please consider other clubs if you don’t want your night spoiled.
Fame Nightclub: A Disappointing Experience marred by Unprofessional Bouncers My recent visit to Fame Nightclub was unfortunately soured by the incredibly rude and unprofessional behavior of the bouncers. While I had hoped for an enjoyable night out, the aggressive and dismissive attitude of the security staff made it an evening I'd rather forget. From the moment we approached the entrance, the bouncers exuded an air of superiority and disdain. There was no friendly greeting, no clear instructions, just a cold, almost confrontational demeanor. When we had a simple question about the entry requirements, we were met with eye-rolls and curt, unhelpful responses. It felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Throughout the night, I witnessed several instances of bouncers speaking to other patrons with similar disrespect, often raising their voices and using condescending tones. There seemed to be a complete lack of understanding regarding customer service, and an overzealous application of authority that bordered on intimidation. At one point, a friend accidentally bumped into another patron (apologizing immediately), and a bouncer was instantly on their case, delivering a stern and disproportionate lecture that left everyone feeling uncomfortable. It's truly a shame, as the club itself seemed to have a decent atmosphere and music once inside. However, the initial and ongoing interactions with the bouncers cast a dark cloud over the entire experience. A nightclub's security staff should be there to ensure safety and maintain order, but they should also be capable of doing so with a degree of professionalism and respect. At Fame Nightclub, this was sorely lacking. Until Fame Nightclub addresses the clear issue with its bouncer staff and implements some much-needed customer service training, I would strongly advise against visiting. There are plenty of other establishments where you can enjoy a night out without being subjected to such an unpleasant and unwelcoming reception.
Hopping, gay-friendly nightspot with DJs & a cocktail bar for late-night dance parties.
Great, friendly crowd, well managed bar -- come relax or get your freak-on, everyone has a good time ⭐️5
I’ve been a regular at Fantasy Nightclub for a few years, but I think it’s time to move on. Over the years, I’ve found other spots in Boystown that offer a better overall experience. The cover charge at Fantasy has become quite steep $50 is really hard to justify when other places charge less than $15. While I do have some favorite bartenders, there’s also been a noticeable shift in the staff’s attitude (young Latino man that is always on the right side near the stage) , which has made it less welcoming. Plus, the drinks are served in small plastic cups, which feels a bit cheap compared to other bars that use glass. And the security staff can be quite rude, which definitely makes for an uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, I think it’s time to say goodbye to Fantasy and explore other places.
First time here, glad the night went how it did, the chef Nesto tho, he knows what hes doing 100, i recommend this place for that late night tacotip... 100 date night spot my shawty loved it.
Being a house/ electonic music fan, I'm always on the lookout for good clubs playing house music. Places like Tao, Soundbar, Electric Hotel, Spybar, Prysm, Concord Music Hall and Radius are a few of the most popular, although some of these wouldn't technically classify as a nightclub, but more of a venue. Bodega is one of those few hidde gems you probably won't heqr about. Situated behind Barrio, this is definitely a great place to be if you're an EDM fan. The live music, especially the drums and saxophone was a lovely experience, really complementing the great music played by the DJ. And oh the music!! All classic EDM songs just when you think it can't get better, the DJ brings in a song that elevates the whole experience to a different level. This has become one of my favorite places to go. Unless you're looking for a particular name DJ's show, I'd go to Bodega for their in house DJ.
Sprawling warehouse nightspot with 3 music rooms featuring DJs, live performers & themed events.
Great vibe! Bartender Patrick was really helpful and attentive. He remembered our order, made excellent recommendations, and kept the atmosphere lively while making everyone feel welcome. Overall service was phenomenal.
Came to Chicago with some friends and decided to hit this club. It was such a fun vibe everyone was having a good time and being respectful. Service was really good and friendly, remembered my drink just how I liked it after one time! Super sweet staff 🩷 Security also made sure we got to our car safely since we were 3 girls, they walked about a block and a half with us to the car to make sure we got there okay!! Cannot express enough how I’ll be going to this spot again next time in Chicago!
Hip, energetic New American restaurant & cocktail bar with a roof deck & late-night dancing.
$20 Saturday night cover, bouncers frisk guys at the entrance. Big UFC fight night on first floor. Bar seating was full, tables set aside for big spenders. Pretty fun dance floor upstairs but getting up there is a 50/50 chance due to limited space, especially later into the night as it gets super crowded. Might not be best for groups larger than 5. DJ mainly plays TikTok songs for about a minute each. Music is WAY too loud, wear earplugs or you will absolutely get hearing damage. Loud music is fun, but these levels were excessive and honestly dangerous, my watch picked up 120dB. Impossible to talk to anyone, had to communicate with the notes app haha
This club looks great for your instagram story but it’s really not. I took my sister for her birthday with a few friends to check it out and it was genuinely one of the worst clubbing experiences I’ve never had. The DJ only played tik tok music (he literally played Messy by Lola Young; love that song but for the club??) and was extremely rude when I requested a Bad Bunny song (straight up gave me a dirty look mouthing the word NO!). The staff were also rude. The bottle girls shove into you (sometimes they straight up shove you), don’t say excuse me, and look like they hate being there. The security guards are on power trip. The club itself is small and gets easily overcrowded. I’ve been to a few clubs in Chicago that have been smaller, overcrowded, and hot but have had a blast. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. At least the sports bar is decent.
Sleek, sprawling dance club with 5 bars & DJs spinning progressive dance, hip-hop & R&B.
This place have been going from worst to worst. First the said my ID was fake. Which is the same ID I've been using before to go IN THIS PLACE. Then the following week I went with my friend. And the kicked us out just because my friend was throwing up in the bathroom and we were taking long in the stall. I got punched in the face by a white security lady just because I would not exist at their terms. After that about 5/6 security carried me out after being handcuffed. All of this just because me and my friend were feeling sick in the bathroom??? Worst placed ever. I would give this place a negative 10 stars. This place cares nothing for the people.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Very crowded even for a popular club. $20 for women, $30 for men. Only ONE bathroom available for the very large number of occupants which should be illegal. I was told by an employee that if a buy a shot ($10) they can let me skip the bathroom line. Absolutely shameful & predatory capitalism.
Upscale, buzzing hot spot with 2 dance floors, 3 cocktail bars, high-tech lighting & guest DJs.
Excellent venue and even better staff. I went for the first time on a whim on a Friday night and had a good time but the exceptional service from staff and security (especially Bravo) made me come back the next night on Saturday, and I had an amazing time. And I will be back! Edit: I had to come back and add that I cannot express how fantastic security is. Everyone is super respectful and friendly. I always have a great time here. Shout out to Ray, Eduardo, Rah, Row, Elijah, Antonio, and JC. They are top notch! Without these guys, it just would not be the same.
I hadn’t been to Prysm in 4-5 years and ai forgot how small it is inside. Bravo is my favorite bouncer! He’s always really nice. We went to see James Hype and it was an amazing set, the light show was also great. My only complaint is HOW LOUD it gets! I am a club kinda gal but this was like so loud you needed to have earplugs. We stood in the back on the main floor near the bar because it was the only way we could hear each other… but even then we were SCREAMING into each others ears just so we could hear. I’d recommend earplugs if you’re going! Great DJ’s, great bartenders, and great light shows.
Clubby hangout with DJs, light effects, bubbly, beers & scotch cocktails.
The overall experience was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We spent thousands on a table and still had to deal with an unbelievably rude and corrupt bouncer. He charged random amounts to people in our group—$20 for some, $40 for others—and then completely denied one of our friends entry unless he paid $60. When my friend questioned why he was being singled out, the bouncer got angry, kicked him out of the line, and left him freezing outside for over an hour in nothing but a t-shirt. At one point, we even got one of the security officers to come outside and help, but the bouncer was furious and refused to let him in. Even the security officer admitted the bouncer was being unreasonable and "tripping," but he still wouldn’t budge. As if that wasn’t enough, the bouncer stooped even lower and actually spat on my friend while he was waiting outside. Absolutely disgusting behavior. The DJ was awful, the drinks were watered down, and the entire place reeked of chaos and unprofessionalism. This is hands down one of the worst clubs I’ve ever been to. Management, do something about your staff—this bouncer is costing you business and your reputation. Never coming back.
Great Chicago night club, one of the best for everyone. Vibes were great and bottle service available
This vast River North nightclub offers multiple bars & DJs spinning a mix of tunes.
High end club, sometimes with popular performers. Snuck in here thinking it was a dungeon. Misty darkened halls and dancing shadowy figures. Odd elixirs and ensorceling music. Found one. Bring earplugs and their security don't play.
One of the worst nightclubs i’ve ever visited in my life. Most of the bar tenders won’t serve you water????? he said he didn’t have time to pour it for me and then said $7 for WATER. 4 shots is $50. and we paid $23 just to get in. $23 and it was basically empty. I highly do not recommend this club. bouncers were dancing with girls and letting them play with their flashlights. everything about this bar is unprofessional. Bar tender is pictured below.
Standard nightclub with a dress code, dance parties & event nights in a lively ambiance.
Terrible Experience at LITE Chicago - Rude & Aggressive Staff Ruined the Night I recently had the misfortune of visiting LITE Chicago, and I must say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a bar. The bartenders and bouncers at this establishment were not only rude but shockingly aggressive, completely ruining what should have been a fun night out. From the moment my friends and I walked in, we were met with an unwelcoming atmosphere. The bartenders seemed to have a chip on their shoulders, as if they were doing us a favor by serving drinks. Their complete lack of customer service skills was appalling, and they made it abundantly clear that they had no interest in ensuring we had a pleasant experience. To make matters worse, the bouncers at LITE Chicago were nothing short of bullies. Instead of providing security and maintaining a safe environment, they seemed to relish in intimidating patrons. I witnessed several instances where innocent customers were unnecessarily subjected to aggressive behavior. It felt like being in a prison rather than a place to relax and enjoy oneself. One particular incident stands out in my mind. I saw a bouncer verbally and physically assault a patron for no apparent reason. It was a horrifying sight that left me feeling disturbed and unsafe. The management did nothing to intervene or address the situation, which speaks volumes about the lack of professionalism and concern for their customers' well-being. Overall, I cannot emphasize enough how terrible my experience at LITE Chicago was. The rude and aggressive behavior displayed by the bartenders and bouncers was inexcusable. It is disheartening to see an establishment that should be focused on providing a welcoming and enjoyable environment instead foster an atmosphere of hostility and fear. I strongly advise anyone considering visiting LITE Chicago to think twice. Save yourself the disappointment and potential danger of dealing with their staff. There are plenty of other establishments in the area that prioritize customer satisfaction and safety, and I would strongly recommend exploring those options instead.
Only came here to support my girl's birthday. Not the best experience. Better vibes and people at other clubs. I wouldn't go back.
