It’s like getting drunk at your cool grandmas house! This is quite possibly the cutest comfiest bar that has ever existed. It’s decked out in funky 70’s style decor and filled with funny knick knacks and board/card games for entertainment. The seating is a good mixture of comfy couches and restaurant style tables and booths for whatever your vibe is. The staff are so friendly and funny you’ll want to be their best friends by the end of the night! The drinks are a fun combination of classic cocktails and fun novelty drinks on the sweet side of things that you get to pick from a “kids style” menu with coloring pages! Overall an entirely unique and perfect experience that I can’t think of a single way to improve upon.

Visiting Peoria from Chicago and had the absolute best experience here. Delicious drinks, wonderful atmosphere, and standout service. We came as a group of 5, the staff was incredibly friendly and gave us complimentary delicious Jell-O shots and offered to take a photo of our group. We accidentally knocked over and broke a glass and not only were they so friendly about it, but they replaced the nearly full drink free of charge. I cannot recommend this spot enough! Everything from the menus to the cozy couches and booths were carefully curated. Must check it out if you’re in town.

I went here for the first time for a scrap and yap, it happened to be a smaller crowd than previously but it was so much fun. I will definitely be returning for more activities! (And... My drink was delicious!)

Junction City Pub always has a basket of candy on the bar! Their barstools are the best in town, and they have darts and slots! They serve delicious Weavers pizza. JCP is locally owned and located in Junction City Shopping Center. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well! Check em out!

Pub has a bit of an identity crisis and lacks the services of a pub. Pubs generally serve alcohol and food. Also, most pubs have a dart board. The sports memorabilia is good, but the rustic walls create conflict against a granite bar counter. There are NO beers on tap, but we were able to get a frosted glass. Service was good. Oh, and they have plugs to recharge your cell!

Friendly Valley Tavern is truly a gem in Central Illinois. The atmosphere is one of a kind and Sean Kenny and his staff have created a space that feels like a mini festival every time you walk in. From the live music on the lawn to the way the crowd gathers under the stars the energy is always welcoming and uplifting. It is not just a bar or a venue it is a community. Local and touring musicians love playing here and the crowds are some of the friendliest you will find anywhere. The sound is always great the staff takes care of everyone and the whole vibe encourages people to connect laugh and enjoy themselves. Whether it is your first time stopping in or your hundredth you will leave with a smile and probably a few new friends. Central Illinois is lucky to have a place like this.

What a hidden gem! This place is the best. The bartender, Brian, was super laid back and easy to talk to. He made us feel like one of the regulars even though it was our first time there. This place has bands, volleyball, food trucks, a back deck, a fire pit, and even a couple of disc golf baskets. I would make the 2 hour trip just to come back here and have a couple beers.

A nice place to get drinks with friends. They have a great selection of drinks you can get. I got The spirits of Peoria, Fun Fact (I guess), etc. they are very good!!! The staff is very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxing here. Me and my friends very much enjoyed it!!!

This place is the "Cheers" of Peoria! Jessie, Cassie, and the entire crew are wonderful! The drinks are so creative and food is delightful! My husband and I love this place, it's always a great time!

The best cocktails in Peoria, next to the best coffee shop in Peoria. Bartender is affable and a tree mixologist. Quality is downtown-Chicago level, at Peoria prices. Love it.

The local pub everyone wishes was right down the street. Great beer, friendly service, top notch burgers and pub grub. Excellent place to get a quick bite or spend a long session. I am not a big fan of hand cut fries but these are crisp and delicious.

Such a cool place for dinner. Definitely a date-night spot. 👌 All of the food was yummy! 😋 Everything had a perfect combination of flavors. The fritters and aioli were delicious; however, the chevre dumplings are hard to share. 😂 The brownie sundae was the perfect finish. The service was excellent, and getting to view the distillery is an added bonus while dining. 🌟 The wife had the Dragon's Breath, and I went for the Pineapple Express - it made me feel like I was back in Florida with the umbrella. 😂 Very cool spot. 👌

Excellent place for drinks 🍸 and conversation 👌. The bar was staffed with 3 bar people. My friend had the whiskey mule and a couple of house bourbons. I tried the Pulp Fiction cocktail. It was great 👍. My friend ordered the New Orleans chicken wings as an appetizer. The wings were excellent, a little spicy but perfect.

Amazing Place! Met Bob a local 70yr old guy that was fkn awesome. Michelle the bartender owner is great people!! My Kind of Town Bar...the owner went to Loyola and DePaul...she recently purchased this St. LOUIS Cardinal bar & is turning it into a Chicago Cubs Bar....with Chicago Beefs & other Chicago Staples on their way!!!

My parents came here when it was Ray's Patio Inn. I left Peoria over 40 years ago and recently moved back. I had visited a few times over the years, and enjoyed the atmosphere and food. We came in Friday, 6/25, hoping to grab a bite to eat and a few drinks. Unfortunately, the bartender informed us that they didn't have a kitchen staff and no food would be available. Something just seems off about the place now. The atmosphere has changed and it doesn't have that neighborhood bar vibe anymore. So sad to see how much the place has deteriorated.

Day dancers all called out. Waiting for the night crew, but bartender Britt was good people and company. She's hot, guys! Night shift girls showed up. Great company and friendly. Super hot as well :). Velvet is a little hottie and took great care of me. Gotta try the payday shot. As the night progresses, the place livened up. The dancers exceeded my expectations. First smile from me in a week.

Revel and Maker sets the bar for what a cocktail lounge should be. Innovative and high quality drinks (well worth the price), friendly staff, and delicious snacks and appetizers. And not to mention the atmosphere is like a chic prohibition time capsule. It’s hard for my boyfriend and I to go anywhere else to enjoy a drink. We feel like we have friends behind the bar. Kostas is personable and wants to ensure you have nothing but a seamless experience. This has quickly become a regular visit for us.

The best upscale craft cocktails in Peoria! Revel & Maker is a one-of-a-kind beverage experience. If you are looking for a Cosmo or a Long Island Iced Tea this is not the bar for you. Kosta has meticulously curated a unique cocktail menu that you will not find anywhere else. Over multiple visits my wife and I have sampled the majority of the cocktails. Each is extremely well balanced and totally delicious. They are focused on serving the best drinking experience. That is why they don’t do substitutes or rando mixed drinks! My personal favorites are the Elenor and the Another Caucasian Gary. High recommend!

I know Steve and Reba, They are a great couple. They've ran this far very well, they have awesome staff, it's definitely a neighborhood spot which I left to would love if I grew up in the area and this is where everybody knows your name whenever I'm in the area. I have to take a moment to stop and say hello to old friends And also to enjoy the ambience They always have good service. And when they do serve food, it's awesome. Totally enjoy the Time I spend there.

If wanna feel like everyone knows your name, This is the spot. Not much to look at but good place to get away. The slots have paid off and the atmosphere is one to remember lol.

We saw a great 60's-70's band (Nikbeats) here last night. Friendly atmosphere in a cozy pub setting. Going back soon to try the Italian cheese steak.

Good drinks, beer is cold and they always have TVs with sports. A great place to stop in on your way home from work to unwind. Press your luck on the machines but you might have to wait. They are usually full.

This place is absolutely amazing. The beer is really good and the food is amazing. The staff is very polite and the they have both indoor and outdoor sitting with great ambience. The outdoor sitting is perfect for a cool summer evening. Their shandy beer is a must try.

Went twice in one week because the first time I was so impressed. Good selection of beer and much better than average brewery food. Highly recommend the loaded waffle fries. If you're not a beer drinker they have a full bar with all the standards. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Sit outside if the weather is good because there's a lot to look at. Bring your pooch too. They have a doggie play area or just park your mutt next to your table. Fire pits, beer tap waterfall, ax throwing range, and a seating area above the outdoor bar. Great vibe and friendly, knowledgeable servers.

Located in downtown Peoria,this place is not real easy to find due to poor signage in my opinion. We stopped in for a late lunch on a Monday and we were just about the only ones in the restaurant. The hostess seated us at a dirty table so our server noticed and had us switch tables. They have an extension Bourbon list so I started with an Old Fashion. They make theirs with Old Forester bourbon which is not my favorite. I should have asked for something different. My wife was pleased they had a nice Gluten Free menu so she ordered the Bison burger with side salad. I ordered their Smoked Meatloaf sandwich. Our meals were brought out by the chef and he noticed he put croutons on my wife's salad which is a big no-no. He also brought her a turkey sandwich? The server admitted it was her mistake so while I ate my sandwich,my wife waited about 10 minutes for her meal . My sandwich consisted of smoked meatloaf on a hoagie roll topped with mashed potatoes,crispy onions and smokey tomato sauce. It was very tasty but I did not really see or tasted mashed potatoes. When my wife received her Bison burger there was blood from the meat on the plate .not very appetizing! She said the burger tho was very good and cooked medium well. Thyme Kitchen offers a variety of unique food items as well as an extensive bar menu but they just need to get their act together.

My husband and I just happened to be in the area and decided to have lunch here a couple weeks ago. I'm a little behind on posting my pictures but the review is still going to be great. Upon walking in we were seated right away, there were quite a few people there but there was still plenty of tables available for a Sunday afternoon. When the waitress seated does she also brought us a large glass bottle of water and two glasses. As you look around the restaurant you notice that there is a loft with more tables and chairs where people are enjoying their lunch. We got the perfect little table, caddy corner right in the corner of the room. It almost felt as if we were the only ones there. We were greeted right away by a waitress and somebody that she was training, both ladies were very sweet. We told her that it was our first time there and she suggested we try and appetizer so we tried the Wisconsin cheese curds, they were beer battered, had white cheddar on the inside, and was served with ranch. They were great! We love going to places and trying different cheese curds and giving it a rating. These are fantastic I would come back just to have them again. For our main entree we both got the fried chicken sandwich. This came with pimento spread, fried onion, chipotle BBQ aioli, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and a potato bun. It seemed a little bit pricey to order this for $17 but I mean, it really seems like the going right now when you do go out to eat. Whike we waited we had some cheese curds and water (that came in a glass jar.) Honestly the water tasted fresh and clean but having it be room temperature water was very unsatisfying. I usually only ever drink water but I guess I could have asked if they had some ice. It just wasn't very refreshing to have it be room temperature. The chicken tasted great I never had one before with pimento cheese on it, it was a really nice addition. I didn't have any room for dessert this time but this was a great meal and we will definitely be returning to try something new on the menu next time!

I did an engagement session in downtown Peoria, and Kenny's staff was so friendly! I treated the couple to an after shoot drink, and the staff allowed us to take a few photos because the couple enjoys date nights here!

Chicken strips DO NOT come out fluffy like the ones in the picture. I got them like that ONE time. The last 3 times I ordered from here, they came out extremely overcooked, batter stuck to the chicken, crunchy/hard, dry... completely non-edible. These are going in the trash just like the last few times. The problem is, they won't even take your order unless you pay up front, so there are no options when they aren't cooked right. I give up. Never again.

On Saturday, I got a chance to visit with some family. I don’t see often. I had mild wings and the homemade chips. Did I mention the drinks? The Pour House gets a 10/10. Thank you!

Just visited this bar to play some slots, made friends with a couple local guys on my way in and though it was great. I was watching my buddy play the slot machine for a few minutes, I hadn’t even put money in yet and the bartender approached us and asked for our ID’s. Mine is a CDL so it looks different and she asked us to leave. My buddy cashed out and tried to leave with me when a guy at the bar took his ticket out of his hand and told him to leave. The bartender followed us out and wouldn’t do anything about the ticket. Tried calling to make it right and was hung up on. Not the place to go.

Mmmm. I know people do black flips for this establishment. Not a huge fan. Service was good. Little more attention to detail on food being served. As far as my entree was concerned 😧 Every one’s else was good. I will be back.

Nice location and ambiance. The cheese bites, corned beef sandwhich, and bangers & mash are all good choices, but the standout was the shepherd's pie. Nice selection of beers and ciders.

9-20-25 Been here several times over the past couple years and each time it's a great experience. The food, atmosphere, service and patrons are all great! It can get very busy at times so be prepared to spend some time waiting on your order but believe me it's well worth the wait. The fact that it's in an over 100 year old church is awesome in itself. We'll definitely be back soon!

This was our first time going to Last Chance Bar and Grill and they were very busy for Mother’s Day but the customer service was incredible! The ladies were running around like crazy trying to take care of everyone and did a great job at it. They also had wonderful food that was served fresh and their hand cut fries with actual cheese not nacho cheese was delish! Hometown feel with great food.

Food was ok....service was slow....short staffed. The waitress was trying her best and very nice and apologetic. We frequent this place a lot so we will always come back. I got the turkey club with waffle fries. Stacked to the ceiling sandwich.

Food was a bit of a letdown. My chicken breast sandwich was so dry it was like leather. Onion rings were very good, though. Coworker had the lunch gyro. He said it was OK. The chips were good. Food did take a while coming out, especially for lunch time. Service was a bright spot. Our server was very attentive and polite.

This was a really nice sports bar. The food was great and so was the service. I had the Olympia Burger, Gyro and Spanikopita Egg Rolls. First the eggrolls were delicious nice and crispy and the four cheese filling was tasty. 3 Eggrolls for 12$. 9/10. The Burger was cooked to perfection and tasty solid Burger. The fries were perfect. Cost 15$ 8/10. Last but not least the Gyro. It was good fresh and had plenty of meat. Cost 15$ 8/10. Food Game 8/10. Price Game 7/10. Presentation Game 7.5/10. Overall Olympia 8/10. Shout out to the Chefs/Cooks in the back.

Nice lively bar. Not too expensive. I've met friendlier bartenders, maybe it was because it was my first time and they seem to cater to a small local community. But hey, I learned what "borscht" is.... and the fried catfish was pretty good!

The service here is phenomenal. Owner is attentive to customers and checks on everything frequently. Food is good. Only comment is I’d like to see more fresh veggies/potatoes besides just salad. The salads are great! It would be nice if they played music other than the tvs but they have a jukebox so you can play it yourself. Overall I recommend the place.

This is by far my favorite pizza in the Peoria area! Great food, excellent outdoor space and good beer options on draft! 4 stars on atmosphere because it can get really loud in the dining area. I prefer outside or the bar. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is amazing! Yummy thin crust, white sauce, tomato, bacon and buffalo chicken tender pieces. Really delicious and the other pizza are great too from Hawaiian, 4 meat, supreme, etc. Can't go wrong!

$12 for this salad? Was it a mistake? My Chicago kids came back in town. We had 2 good pizzas but the salad was laughable.

The Basket Case is easily my favorite place to frequent in all of Peoria. Great music selection with a surprising amount of amateur and some not so amateur singers. If you want to have an amazing time with fantastic drinks, I'll see you there on the weekend! P.s. If you want to have the most mic time as possible, Sundays might be your night! Nice enough place I guess. The parking lot is a nightmare if there are more than a few cars there. It looks like it was decorated at the height of 2010, but, then again, most slot places usually do. They do not offer free snacks like most gaming places but they do have an actual menu with real food, however if you plan on ordering any make sure you brought or have access to enough cash to pay for it, as they only accept cash as payment for everything there. Their food is decent (at least from what I've tried) BUT it tends to learn a tad bit overpriced, to extremely overpriced. They run out of several things on their menu frequently and never seem to be able to provide a solid answer as to when they will be getting said food back again. Also, the bartender/game area attendant is the cook as well, and they don't keep their fryers or ovens or something running unless its peak meal time so if you order something make sure you have time to wait, especially if the worker is busy or occupied by a different issue or customer. They did not have bottled water while I was there, I do not recall them ever having anything but tap water. There are probably 6 or 7 machines, It does feel a little cramped in there because the machines are all along one wall facing the same direction, the only other place I have seen this particular design has been inside gas stations like Thorton's.

Out of food when we got there around 8pm Friday night. Thinking we were staying for some food and video games, it seemed odd we had to pay for the beer at the time we got them. Slots were pretty cool, but that's not the places fault. Hoped for a better experience. Funny side note. Bathroom had a Tazewell County washing hands sign. Told to use paper towels but offer a hand dryer!🤣🤣🥰

Ive gone twice. Once a year ago and there were 3 of us in the whole bar. Once recently with a very large group. Upon getting there we found the bar already had a very large group inside. There was a single bartender working, did not get her name but she's short and red headed. She did such an incredible job handling so many people by herself. Ive seen bars with less patrons and more bartenders provide far worse service. Also its beautiful inside. Photos are from my first visit when the place was nearly empty!

We love going to Diesel every time we go to Peoria. In fact, most of our trops to Peoria are specifically to go to Club Diesel.

All the bartenders are extremely quick and prompt. Josie works the entire back bar by herself with 100s and never skips a beat. Kyle, Justin, Brandi are phenomenal in the front bar as well. Friendly environment Nd safe. Wouldn’t choose anywhere else to go enjoy my self any day of the week.
