I Just Loved the Cute Quaint Little Bar. It is Inside of a Huge Event Space, but the Bar Itself is Like a Cozy Living Room Setting. They Have Specialty Drinks and the Bartenders Were Soo Nice!! It Was Fun Watching them Make the Drinks! And They Were Very Delicious! 😋😋
We love the house pick-the ability to give the bartender a prompt and they can make your best cocktail. Aaron and Dylan were great to mix up some purely delicious cocktails. They are very personable and ready to mix up your favorites!
Love this bar. Always come here when I'm staying at the embassy downtown Rockford. Affordable drinks and great atmosphere. Husband and wife operation, and they make excellent drinks
Amazing bar. Bartender is sure to make your evening great. Stop in if you have a chance.
Omg i came here for my birthday Sunday for the first time. I been wanting to go here since last year. I made it and when I tell yall the vibes here is pass GREAT! The owners alone is a vibe, the food is great the music is fabulous, the atmosphere is wonderful. I love this place and will be back the rest of the year. I had a great birthday here. Everyone thats reading the reviews just GO please u will love it!
I recently had my first experience at Sheila’s daiquiri lounge and everyone was so welcoming! The first thing you see when you walk up to the building is a row of homemade daiquiris in cool dispensers! There were two wonderful ladies to help me out, I was able to try some flavors before purchasing! Which I thought was so cool! You can mix your drinks so that you didn’t have to be stuck with just one drink! Will definitely go again but this time as a date location! Not only do they have daiquiris but they have food as well and I can’t wait to try!
Trendy taproom serving locally sourced New American small & large plates, cocktails & absinthe.
Great spot for an intimate gathering with close friends. They have a sublime craft cocktail menu, great atmosphere, and friendly/attentive service.
Always an absolutely amazing experience. Best Sazerac I’ve had outside of New Orleans and better than any you will find in the French Quarter. Staff is friendly, experienced and down right amazing. Food is insanely flavorful. A one of a kind vibe you either get it….or you don’t.
Decided to come here for the first time ever on 815 day! We waited a few minutes for a couple chairs to open at the bar. The live music was fantastic and not too loud. I’m really sensitive to loud music, so I was so happy I could just sit and enjoy. It was acoustic so I’m sure that helped. I got the Rockford Peach 815 special and it was very light and refreshingly peachy. My boyfriend got the pineapple cider and a shot of whisky 815 special. The pineapple cider was delicious and such a fun find! Overall it was a very cool experience!
Great little spot in Rockford, IL. I was greeted upon entering with a smile and a welcoming demeanor by the person checking the list of people attending the evening's show. Was seated promptly, and staff was there to make the round for drinks before the show. The lighting, acoustics, and general feel of this space was perfect. I would definitely attend this venue again, and look forward to the opporutnity to do just that.
Check out #unktacos
Friendly owners, good space for any event!
Stopped in before a concert and had a great time. The ambiance is cool, the bartender was a lot of fun and the other patrons were welcoming! The drinks are priced unbelievably reasonable, space is clean, music is good.
I had a great time here. Lots of cool people visit this bar. Nicole may be the best bartender in Rockford.
OMG Jess. The absolute BEST. Seriously the best drinks and the best company. Jess is the sweetest and most attentive bartender I’ve ever had (and I am dating a bartender) Jess always remembers what I like and will have it poured before I’m even sitting down. Plus she’s so funny and cute and I just all around love her. The place is great, love the garage doors and have met so many great people hear!
Rude bartenders and unprofessional behavior: My boyfriend and I went here for a late lunch and to check out the place, as we've driven by it before. After sitting, our waitress (I think her name was Jen) asked for our drink order. When we ordered only water she proceeded to give us a dirty look and asked if we wanted vodka in it. We were taken aback but continued to order our food. While waiting for our food (about 30 minutes) the bartenders took 2 shots each by themselves (it wasn't even 5:00pm and customers were watching). We got our food and it was okay, nothing special. I liked the brussel sprout and balsamic flatbread. When we asked for the check, our waitress stated to us "Shots?". We asked for the check 2 more times, each time the waitress pressured us to drink alcohol. She proceeded to finally give us the check after giving us an eye roll when we denied drinking any alcohol. For having a sophisticated menu, ambiance, mocktails, and more upscale drinks on the menu, the service was very unprofessional and rude. It gave off the vibe of a dive bar, when the decor and menu did not suggest this at all. The bartenders/waitresses should think about how they present themselves and represent the establishment. Pressuring customers to drink is never okay.
Great food and even better service. I stopped in for lunch here and had the carne asada and carnitas tacos. They were delicious!! Had a margarita to wash it all down. Very clean inside and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back to try more menu items and the ambiance of this establishment.
Stopped in for my first time on Saturday for some holiday drinks and may have found my new favorite spot. They had a meat raffle and won some amazing pork chops and the service and other customers were great definitely will be heading back.
Relaxed, popular spot offering a tavern menu & a big list of beer, wine & spirits, plus patio seats.
The service was outstanding. The food was great. Everything was generous and appetizing. The location is convenient and the atmosphere is clean and calming. My only concern was price. For basically a bar-food lunch, it was really expensive.
Well I got the scallops (they were AMAZING) paid $40 for literally 4 medium large-ish scallops with an okay risotto & NO vegetable. The plate looked honestly kind of sad. If the risotto was really good maybe that would have helped make up for it but it was just okay. I would probably go back it was a nice place but I defiantly wouldn’t order that again! French onion soup was good & very traditional. My honey liked his tavern steak & I likes the Demi glaze it came with. Overall a good experience had to get dessert as there was not enough food on plate & the crème brûlée was perfect.
Some friends and I went in for a nice meal after a long day of work, we got everything we asked for! We were blessed to have walked in on 25 cent wing specials! We added that to our burger orders, The Loaded burger was served with crispy bacon and a perfectly medium egg yolk. The food was outright amazing, theyre doing a solid job running this spot! Will def be back in the future and refer this spot to others! Ask for Abby! Shes a hell of a bartender!
Great neighborhood bar and grill with really fast and friendly service. We stopped by for lunch and each had a bloody mary. They were perfect: just the right amount of kick. I had a burger with smoked gouda and my husband had a steak sandwich. They were both excellent. Definitely give this place a try!
American bistro & market serving locally sourced, wood-fired pizza, burgers & fish, plus wine.
Everything was fantastic. And I don't say that, because there's always room for improvement. The Pizza was fantastic. The crust was crispy yet soft and not doughy. My wife and I chose to sit at the bar and it was a gorgeous bar with real bartenders who had skills. Everything's made in-house. To the shrimp appetizer which is delicious. And right down to the tasty pasta dish we had with tortellini. If we ever returned to Rockford, we are definitely stopping here for a Pizza and beer for sure.
The food here is amazing! I can be such a critic but this place looks casual on the outside but the food is absolutely phenomenal and the presentation is yummy. My sister ordered their truffle burger and we both agree it was one of the best burgers we have had in a long time. The flavor was bursting. My salad was very good and the ingredients are very fresh and made-to-order. They also have a delicious bar menu! Jamie, our server, was very bubbly and fun to talk to.
Upscale pub fare & beer served in old-fashioned quarters with outdoor seats overlooking the water.
Lovely upscale bar-restaurant with great outdoor seating! I’ve been here many times over the years, but the most recent was to celebrate my cousins’ birthdays. I ordered the Peacock Punch which was both gorgeous and sweet and fruity. And I also ordered the American Burger, medium well, no tomato. The burger was pretty good, I think there might have been a bit too much mayo as it kept trying to slide out of the bun. The potato wedges were very nice as well. I think I’d get something a little more adventurous next time, but it was still a lovely dinner.
All was perfect, except get rid of that damn "service fee". No reason for that. Food was excellent. Atmosphere on the river dock was wonderful. Staff was exceptional and so customer focused! We will be back. Everyone was sweet to the dog also. Very appreciative. While sitting on the dock, we could here tthe water splashing below to give a great outdoor experience. Get out there before Winter.
This is a great blue collar dive bar in Rockford that caters to bikers, where a good time can always be found. While I don't drink much these days, the bar is known for its heavy pour "Two Wheel drinks" and very reasonable prices. Believe it or not, you can get good Scotch whisky here if you know what to ask for. Great old school crowds can be found here on Thursdays when they have their weekly money drawings or when there's music or events. Other nights are a bit more urban these days with a DJ playing dance/pop/hip-hop music, depending on the crowd. Two pool tables are in regular use and gaming machines are available. Tacos are just $1 on Thursdays and they're pretty tasty. Other food is available, although I don't generally eat here so can't speak much to it. If you're looking for something fancy or upscale, don't go here. But, if you're looking for typical Westside people having a good time, with a touch of rowdy, this is the place. They also carry THE PAPER, which is always a plus...
Dive bar for sure. But in a bad way. Radio on full volume. She can’t turn it down because a repairman needs to come in. Only tv that has Packers game pixilated like a mf. Slightly cold Heineken bottles. Only other customer smoking at bar. I could go on.
Had never visited this spot. Our household enjoys pub trivia and saw an ad that Stumpy's was offering it. It's a cute little pub, can see it being a favorite after-work hangout for locals. Autumn was our bartender and she was just the sweetest. You can order food from Maciano's next door and enjoy it while you drink, or enjoy a beer, chips, and hot dog special from Stumpy's with homemade relish. I also saw their screen offered a "you get what you get" canned beer/drink special for $3. I tried that and thought it was pretty fun! Got a drink I would have never asked for, but I tried something new, and hey, getting to try little new things can be part of the spice of life. Also, this will sound absolutely nuts, but the ladies' restroom had the plushest TP I've ever come across in any bar/pub 😂 Sometimes, it's the little things that really make a cozy night.
Bri is my favorite bartender!! Not only does she make great drinks, but she’s also very sweet and attentive! You can tell she enjoys her job & cares about her customers. Definitely recommend checking out the place.
Large open gaming bar. Great bartenders and reasonable pricing
Didn't see food options, drinks were good. Bartender was nice and took care of us. Crowd was easy going, playing darts, shuffle board and pool. They have a few TVs with different options. Clean and good smelling bar! Definitely a little gem I would've never known was there if it wasn't for a friend.
Luv, Luv this place... Always something for everyone... Owners are wonderful and a great place to relax inside and outside- Luv the variety of music its awesome! RIP FRANKY your great smile and personality will be greatly missed!
The food was delicious. The burger was amazing, cooked the way you requested. The steak fries were a perfect side. Also, I have never had wings that I did not needed a dipping sauce. They were perfect! The customer service was friendly and prompt. I was served right away no wait with a great attitude. All around great bar. I will be back.
Longtime American taproom with 25+ drafts & creative bar bites, pasta, sandwiches, steak & seafood.
We went with a group of us and sat at the bar. The host and bartender were both very friendly. Great craft beer selection. Best apps; the cheese curds and nachos. I had the Reuben and it was delicious; so much corned beef! Fun bar decor and also great to-go beer options.
It’s our anniversary and we wanted to try a new-to-us restaurant, so we chose The Olympic Tavern. We both ordered rib eye steak with shrimp. It was delicious! 💜 The garlic mashed potatoes did not taste very garlicky, but the potatoes were still very good. As were the seasonal veggies.😊 Dessert was a flourless chocolate torte - fabulous! Everyone we met was very friendly and the service was good. My only regret is that I did not request a nicer table. We spent our anniversary dinner sitting at a cafe table that was lined-up along a bench shared with multiple people. Not my favorite part of the evening.🫤 ➡️Part Two - Summertime Visit: This time we were seated on the patio and it was lovely! They have worked hard to create a beautiful outdoor space, and we enjoyed the evening weather and atmosphere. I tried the Brussel Sprout appetizer (delicious), and my husband had the fish and chips (really good as well). Our waitress was very loud spoken, but super sweet and helpful. If you haven’t been to this Rockford landmark yet, don’t hesitate!
Food was meh, drinks are good and fair price. Interesting the 2 toilets in one bathroom... So you can hold hands, I guess. Never seen that before, maybe I will never see it again. Then I will not have to think about it
Cheyenne was amazing . She delivered excellent customer service . She kept me and the other guest entertained the entire time . Definitely will be back
Great place visit, historic, cool room for bands, slots, darts, ect...
Best open Mic in Rockford.. still! Every Sunday evening.
🕺🏼🍺The Office nightclub in Rockford is where the party meets the heat. The vibe is electric, and let’s not forget the shirtless bartender—definitely a highlight that adds some serious eye candy to the scene. The drinks flow, the music bumps, and it’s a cash-only spot, which keeps it old school but gives it a raw, no-frills charm. Whether you’re here to dance, drink, or just admire the view, it’s a spicy good time all around.
Awesome bar! They have karaoke every Sunday, and man the people that sing are talented. Very inclusive bar with very good folks there. I experience sexual harassment while there one night, and the staff were very responsive about it. I was immediately believed and sympathized with by bartenders, and they ended up kicking the guy out. Truly the people working there want to create a safe atmosphere, so even if you experience a problem, the staff and even strangers legitimately care about you. Give them some support, what a great bar to have in lil ol’ Rockford.
Burgers, pizza & wings served in an upbeat atmosphere with live bands, karaoke & slot machines.
Food was burnt!! Not edible at ALL!! I am so disappointed & pissed off. When I called them there only excuse was "Oh we had a big rush" Seriously like that's a reason to send not one but THREE BURNT ORDERS OUT!! Steak was supposed to be medium, it was past well done, charred, rubbery, not even sure if it's real? Never had steak taste like this! The plate with the black circle thing is one of the pancakes they sent us. All of them were burnt Even the hash browns were burnt! Never eating here again!!
Great spot to catch local bands. Friendly service, great vibe all around.
The burgers were fantastic! My kind of dive bar right here. $2 Beer deals everyday. Super friendly bartender! The food was terrific and super affordable. I can't wait to go back for lunch or grab a beer after work.
Kitchen was closed. Drinks were good. Atmosphere was comfortable. Overall I would say 3.5. May e it would be different t on another day. Would consider coming back.
This is a great place. I don't really drink much anymore, but I go here for their hand-breaded tenderloins. They're the best tenderloins in the area without doubt. My wife loves the crab Rangoon, too. They have clean bathrooms, there's plenty of parking and the staff is friendly, too. Definitely not the old Victory Tap from years ago. Certainly worth a visit. (Plus they always have copies of THE PAPER on hand to enjoy, which is a plus.)
Shayna was a wonderful bartender and provided excellent service. This is a very friendly, cozy and low key bar with surprisingly excellent food! Their mango habanero bone in wings were EXCELLENT. Not too spicy but just the right amount of kick. The beef loaded nachos were great too! Thanks for the excellent service and a great impression on my first time there!
Pretty decent laid back place, you get to pick your own music as well
It's a very nice clean regular bar where all the regulars come tell their day time stories or their week stories whatever and it's all been redone on the inside so it's very clean very nice looking. They also offer games like darts there's TVs and I was there for a birthday party so I imagine they have other things I just didn't get to see everything but like I said it's a great local bar and it's very clean and the regulars like to have a lot of fun yet I found that it was not cliquish at all and everybody was very inclusive and wants what your favorite drink to get to know you even wanted to find out what your favorite drink is, nobody was standoffish are snotty or playing Mean girls because it's their bar, that's not the vibe at all, the vibe is come in have fun enjoy yourself and then go home and have a nice night that's the vibe I got from there! They also have Dart leagues that go to Vegas! Let's put it this way if it wasn't so far away from my home I would make it my local Watering Hole but I'm still glad that I got to visit it. If anybody out there agrees with my review please just simply press the like button! Thank you
Big place, server Brianna was exceptional! So nice! A great place to socialize with a huge bar & many tables. We were there for lunch. Had reubon sandwich, a little too much saurkraut & the cornbeef (kind of fatty) wasn't sliced thin enough. The atmosphere is very lively and they have slot machines as well. It looks like they have a DJ on weekends. A clean place.
I really enjoyed this spot. The waitress was very attentive, and the burger was delicious 😋 they have slots and dart and pool table in the back and a great happy hour. I would recommend.
The food is always good and the service is always GREAT!
Love this place. Food always great at lunch.
We were a party of 2 who went in for lunch. The initial impression is that the interior is a bit dark which encourages you to sit nowhere but the bar which has plenty of spaces and comfortable chairs. The bartender was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu items. Many of the menu items include the same toppings just with different bases so we started with the taco totchos ($12, I believe). The tots were crispy and the taco meat topping was flavorful. I was not disappointed with the ratio of topping to tots and it was generally a good start. We ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich with regular fries and a bacon smash burger with onion rings. The tenderloin was pounded flat and fried but was still juicy. The breading was not heavy and was well seasoned. Fries were crispy and not overly salted. The burger was smashed but had none of the crispy edges that are expected with a true smash burger, it was just a flattened burger. The burger was delicious. The onion rings were bland and half were left in the container. Our sandwiches initially came out with sweet potato fries that we did not order, evidently an issue with the computer system so we were able to sample those free of charge and they were delicious. The large trays that our food was served on made our food look and feel minimalistic. The paper under the taco totchos did not hold up so it became saturated and disintegrated into the bottom of our food. The food plus 1 soda and 3 mixed alcohol drinks brought our bill to approximately $58 because we paid with a credit card (yes, they charge a fee). Overall, I was pleased with the experience and plan to return to check out their Friday Fish Fry. I am cautiously hopeful that the substance issues that plagued Dusty Boots will not return with Broadway Joe and this can be a local place we can visit often.
Dude I love these wings so i would keep coming back here. Even tried to make it our rugby bar to go to after practice. It was crazy last night we wait almost two hours for our food. Were offered no discount, the beer wasn't even cold it was room temperature. Dont offer cheap beer if youre gonna be salty when people order it. Cant believe a bar wouldn't keep beer cold?!?! The service is terrible waitresses have no Idea what they're doing and are over worked. Sad because like I said we wanted this to be our bar but 3 weeks in a row of terrible service we're all set
We sat at the bar . The bartender was amazing !! I ordered the prime rib sandwich and my husband ordered the broasted chicken. They were both delicious !! My husband said , best chicken he has ever had.
Service started off slow but the gal was amazing when I shared we had an event to get too. I really appreciate her taking such great care. The food was decent for a bar. Nothing exciting. Prices are average, too. I would go back.
Don't bother going unless you just want to drink. I called ahead of time to see about karaoke nights on Wednesday nights. He said it starts at 8pm. We got there at 8:25pm no one was singing. There was loud music playing one pool table, darts board that no one was using. We sat at a high rise table. No one came to take our order. I couldn't tell who worked there and who didn't. Finally after 20 min of waiting the bar tender who I could recognize his voice from the phone call earlier said that the kitchen was closed. I have three disabled sons and we were basically pushed out of their establishment. Once I told him who I was and that I would be leaving this review he started stumbling on his words and asking for me to not do this. He actually followed me to my truck too. Cause he knew what he was doing and that it was wrong. I told him I would give the review this place deserves. This is a bar and shouldn't be called anything else. I called ahead of time because I was asking for a pizza place that has karaoke. Clearly they don't do either. Don't waste your time going here. There's nothing special about this place. The parking is horrible as well.
My favorite place to hang out ! The bartenders are all attentive and friendly, the food is delicious! The neighborhood bar feel is so welcoming and warm. Come in knowing no one, leave with 10 friends. Great place and atmosphere. if you havent tried the Italian beef bites , theyre the bomb!
I walked into shooters this morning with my family of 6 a due to the tables only seating 4 we kindly asked if we could put two tables together a white bald older gentleman told us “I guess “ seeming bothered after he took our orders the youngest of the group had his arms crossed and head lying down on the table the waiter smacked the table and told to “wake up no sleeping at the table” and “ the owner is the building he wouldn’t like his head down” long story short we ordered $120 worth of food and cancelled the order and left. I am a long time customer long story short will not be returning.
Great service, great food, and fast service. I came here to get the massive 20oz pork tenderloin and it did not disappoint me. It tasted good, it was cooked well, and had a nice ratio of breading to meat. The table next to us ordered burgers (I'm not sure which ones) but they looked really good as well. I'd like to know what buns they use for the Big Porker tenderloin, because it was really really good. My only complaint is the lighting and seating inside of the restaurant -- none of the tables were very large and it was dark inside, and the bathroom -- which was missing common things like urinal partitions and a mirror.
We all enjoyed our meals at the Filling Station! I got the Hangover Burger, while my other party members got either mushroom and swiss sandwiches or cheese burgers. I was excited to find the Hangover on the menu, as it seems like a rare commodity in the bars and restaurants I've visited. While the food was great, service was slow and inaccurate. Our server kind of just blew off her mistakes and spent a lot of her time sitting at the bar seemingly on her phone.
I had a couple different food items. The most bland and flavorless burger, dry wings. No seasonings on the burger, no seasonings on the other foods. I did not enjoy it. The atmosphere was old and boring. Great night bartender, she was constantly asking if we needed anything and checking on us. Just bad food, poor cook.
Spacious, easygoing bar & American restaurant featuring DJs, trivia & lots of TVs for sports.
Today at Oscar’s my family and I came out for lunch and it took the waitress 20 minutes after taking our or to tell us that the fish we ordered was not taken out and we couldn’t get what we ordered. Then my husband had ordered lemonade and they brought him watered down lemonade and the waitress comes back and says that they didn’t have anymore. I have never had this type of experience before ever. Then she had the nerve to bring some Oscar bucks to compensate for the mishap and laugh under her breath as if that does anything for the lack of service provided. Then to top it off she brings out the order for the kids but forgot an order of fries and left us waiting an additional 10 minutes after saying yea I know I just have to grab them I didn’t have enough hands . This is unacceptable.
We were at OSCARS PUB Wednesday September 3rd for trivia and usually get a drink and a appetizer. Our waitress Rosa E was the worst waitress we have ever had there. She took our drink order and and asked us twice if we wanted anything at the time we didn't yet. 40 minutes passed and she never came back to check on us i had to ask the other waitress for a refill. At about 10 minutes to 9pm an hour at that time since we had initially ordered our drinks she finally came back and asked if we needed anything at that point I no longer wanted to order food so I asked for a refill and the check. She was very quick bringing the check. (It just seems amazing that someone can wait on every table around ours but completely ignore our table no matter how many times we tried to get her attention.)
Went here for food prior to seeing a concert in Rockford. We got lucky with finding seats at the bar however I definitely recommend making reservations if you have a group larger than 2 people. We sat at the bar, so we didn’t really get to experience the full view except when we walked around outside. The food was good however kind of pricey. This place makes for a swanky date night. They have premium cocktails and the food was good. They are known for “light fare” which is mostly appetizers and tapas style food. If you are looking for a full meal with sides, The Top does not offer a menu with that.
What a magnificent little spot right in downtown Rockford! The service was absolutely top tier, the staff there is on it! Friendly and knowledgeable, quick to make accomodations, just couldn't ask for better. The food? Holy moly. Think small bites so you aren't shocked by the plates, but there's nothing small about the flavors or the dessert! Do not skip the creme brulee cheesecake! Every bite is a treat, so even though the portions are small, the menu is dynamite! The outdoor area is incredible with the views and the seating. Just a top-tier place all around.
Casual hangout serving drinks & pub grub, with regular live music & other events.
**5-Star Review for District Bar and Grill – A Must-Visit in Downtown Rockford!** I absolutely *love* District Bar and Grill in downtown Rockford, IL! From the amazing food to the awesome atmosphere, this place has it all. The **fried ravioli** is an absolute must-try—crispy on the outside, perfectly cheesy on the inside, and served with a delicious marinara sauce. Paired with an ice-cold **Corona**, it was the perfect combo! The menu has so many great options, but this appetizer stole the show for me. What really sets District apart is the **rock and roll vibe**. The **"Wall of Fame"** in the back is incredible—covered with signed guitars and photos from diverse bands that have played here. It’s such a cool touch that adds personality and history to the place. You can tell this spot has real love for music and good times. The service was friendly, the drinks were cold, and the energy was just right—whether you're stopping by for happy hour, dinner, or late-night fun. **Highly recommend** District Bar and Grill for great food, great drinks, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back! **⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️**
Food definitely step up from the first time I went there years ago. And the mac n cheese variety is super yummy!! Lots of chicken options, too. Fully stocked bar with beer on tap including Guinness. Went in about lunch time on a Saturday. The place was not very busy, but the service was slow and the bartender seemed annoyed when asked to change the TV station (it had been frozen the entire time we were there until we asked her to change it). The prices were a bit shocking on the beer. $8 for a 20oz. Served in plastic cups. The food prices were not horrible for the mac n cheese but the southwest egg rolls were $13 for 3. Price of going to a bar in the city. 4 beers, 2 appetizers, 1 entree was $82. Plus tip and tax.
Sunday brunch and mimosas are the best!! The owner/chef hand makes his own twist in the croissants and french toast specialties. Fancy and flavorful. Nothing like these in the area.
It’s a fun place I had a good time. Drinks are stronger than usual and there’s always karaoke on the weekend. But make sure you go on a night when the guy is doing the karaoke. The lady on Friday nights is quite a witch and yells at you in front of everyone if you don’t understand her unclear instructions for signing up. She rudely slaps a barcode in front of you that takes you to Facebook which seems like a dead end. And when you ask her what to do she snaps on you. And she expects that everyone to know we’re suppose to message her on Facebook. The kicker was that she said I was like the tenth person to not understand. Remember Jeff foxworthy here’s your sign? I was appalled at her behavior and I actually am unsure if I would return because of it.
The negative or sub par reviews seem like disgruntled guests. To go to a club and complain that the girls come up to you too quickly is just ridiculous. One review, within 4 months, said he was there 4 years ago. Pretty dumb. Anyway, I gave 5 stars because door guys have been cool, bartenders are friendly and the girls are social while also being fairly attractive and respectful. Dances are cheap compared to most places around the country and you only pay a 1 time $10 fee to door person to get dances after the fact. Most clubs around the country charge a lot more for dances (which some goes to the house, not just the girl) and then the cover charges too.
This was around 4 years ago. As soon as I walked in and sat at the bar to get a drink, this black dancer sat next to me we talked for a bit. I ended up having two drinks as the manager was sitting at the bar, staring at me from across the way. Next thing I know I ended up in the parking lot, waking up from being roofied at the bar from either the dancer or the bartender. Word of advice don’t carry a lot of cash on you. They will find out and you will probably get roofied. Not to mention, it was 5° outside and snowing I heard that I was found three hours later in the parking lot in a T-shirt. I decided just to stop and get a couple drinks and this crap happened. Word of advice never go by yourself.
