We go every Monday to see Kylie and the truths. Open mic night, she's an amazing person and extremely talented. My favorite bartender is destani, they're all great, but she's been there for YEARS she knows what she's doing for sure. The drinks are wild, I recommend getting the Persephone martini, it'll absolutely get the job done and is really tasty. Wish I would've taken a picture of that one. Next time I'll upload the cocktail and drink menu. They also have a food truck parked out back, they're only there on weekends though, but SUPER delicious and worth every bit

I've visited other bars and was impressed by the gimmick of this one in particular. The atmosphere is nice along with the live music performed occasionally. The drink selection is great with cocktails named after book characters/movie characters. I intend next time I make a trip to Lake Charles to stop by.

Love this place. Great people and bartenders. One of the FEW places you can get dressed up for and not feel overdressed or out of place. Classy establishment with great variety of drinks. Try the baby beer shot served in a baby beer mug shot glass!

Had an amazing time at Ray’s Lounge Friday night. Loved the live entertainment with Jasmyn Monique. It was amazing. This is the only concern I have. It specifically states that no shorts are allowed and that the strict dress code would be enforced, no exceptions. However, several people walked in wearing shorts, but they were not turned away. It’ll be nice to continue visiting the lounge, but it could quickly lose its elegant and classy atmosphere if the dress code restrictions are not adhered to and the patrons are not addressed. Enforce your dress code. It was shorts Friday, but soon it’ll be backwards caps, sagging pants, mouth grills, and everything else that is not supposed to be.

Nice quiet place to stop in and have a beer or drink. And got some nice pictures at sunset.

No greeting when I walked in. After I stated it was my first time coming there and wanted to know how to get into the club, the bartender said you cant because im the only person working and said to me, “you cant go sit over there” which was a room with worn out sofas and 4 young girls running around taking turns turning the music on and off. After 30 minutes when I realized no one was coming to serve me, I left. Btw, this was 11:45 pm on a Saturday night. This place is a joke! Do not support them!

Me and my friend Anita came here just off a whim and had the best spicy pickle shots I've ever had and the bartender was a super nice girl she was friendly and chatted us up and showed us around the bar and the lounge areas. It was a very nice experience.

Been dropping by this place since I turned 21, it's been my favorite ever since. They keep out there riffraff and kids. They cater to industry folk and patrons, whom are treated and served with respect. Great beer selection and talented staff for your cocktail needs. I recommend this place first when it comes to getting a drink.

My Place; great place. Simple pub with chill aesthetics and a small stage. Friendly staff and a welcoming crowd, usually casino employees winding down, enjoying a few. Usually no cover charge unless a band or something is playing. I like to include this one when I'm "vibe-surfing" across Lake Charles' nightlife. Ordered over phone and when we arrived to pick up orders staff was courteous and friendly. Have ordered here before and food was excellent. Picked up orders and returned home Upon opening sandwiches I noticed light bags when normally sandwiches have weight. Open sandwiches and noticed my Papa Special was significantly light on meat and plentiful cheese and mayo. The order was incorrect also pictures posted

Came for the poboy and was not disappointed, will return. cold beer on tap. loved the aluminum cups. suggestion: get some taller barstools

This is a nice little bar right on the casino floor. $5 beers , full bar ! Best if all Live Music! Dance floor and nice candle lit couch lounge seating. Great place for a drink and people watching. 8 TVs to watch your favorite games as well . Sound is great in here you don’t hear any casino noise at all. Good ventilation from smoke as well . I will definitely return to hang out and listen to a live band.

Randi, Jose, and Brandon were the most attentive and helpful tenders to us. We were celebrating our 14th wedded anniversary and first trip ever without kids. They made our time not only pleasurable but memorable. Prices were reasonable but service e was remarkable. Will definitely return

The atmosphere of this place was pretty awesome, but they were out of far too many items far too early in the night to consider coming back. We traveled cities over to this place for my birthday night with some good friends to see a show. I ordered a drink that is supposed to come with a guitar pick garnish because I wanted the guitar pick as a memorabilia of the night. Neither I or anyone else in our party got a pick and the drink is fairly expensive. That was a pretty big let down and I think that the venue should change the menu if they aren’t going to dress the drink as stated. I would have left a 5 if not for the costly drinks and left out pick.

Had a fun experience deciding which flavor to pick! The Frosty Factory reopened in Lake Charles a couple of months ago after remodeling from the flood last year. Lots of tables and seating! Lots of flavors, and the bartenders were so great and patient! Stop by & check it out!

I only came for a frosty drink. I had a horrible Monday and was just boo hoo crying. I've been through a LOT lately and the dam just burst. I could barely get my order out of my mouth but I was being taken excellent care of by Kagan. He was so patient with me. He was kind and thoughtful. I was immediately served my drink order and off I went. I just wanted to tell everyone to ask for him because Kagan is absolutely amazing. Thank you for being so kind to me on such a bad day!!

My favorite little bar to come to catch a vibe and eat good food! I have been on both sides at night with the turn up but now I prefer daytime its a very relaxed/mature atmosphere. FireCracker Shrimp are always good.

They wouldn’t honor the happy hour meal because I didn’t eat inside when I have gotten it 3 times before. They said 15 minutes I get there and they don’t start til I actually get there. So much for convenience in and out

I had such a great experience at Lux. The service was absolutely amazing, everyone was friendly, attentive, and made me feel really welcome from the moment I walked in. The food was outstanding, full of flavor and clearly made with care. On top of that, the atmosphere was fantastic, relaxed yet vibrant, the kind of place you actually want to hang out in for a while. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!

Lux has such a great vibe,modern, stylish, and still super comfortable. The food is amazing (the tacos and fried green beans are a must), and the cookie butter waffle is unforgettable. Friendly staff and a fun atmosphere make it one of my favorite spots in Lake Charles.

Called to make sure they were open and served food past midnight. Little girl that answered the phone stated they did until 1:30am. Mind you,at this time it is only 10pm. We showed up, went in. Was not greated by anyone. 1 bartender behind the bar had her back to us and didn't even turn around . We wait and wait and then she turns and walks past us to a register and dosent even look at us then proceeds to the register right beside us with no communication whatsoever. We were 2 of the 4 people there. So she wasn't busy with customers. Thats what really pissed me off. I will never come back to "On the rocks bar and pizzeria". And I will never recommend it either.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at Cowboys Venue during Mardi Gras and the Keith Frank concert! This place is definitely a five-star venue in my opinion. The drinks were reasonably priced, and although the bar was really packed, I felt like I got my money's worth. I wish I could remember my bartender's name—he was the one closest to the stage at the very end near the exit door. He was a really cool guy! Even though it sometimes took a while to get my drink, he made up for it with his engaging personality and friendliness. The atmosphere was great, and I truly enjoyed myself. Keith Frank sounded amazing, and it was a thrill to finally see him perform indoors in one of my favorite cities. The last time I tried to see him in Texas, the event got rained out, so being inside this time was a huge plus! Overall, my experience at Cowboys Venue was wonderful, and I highly recommend it. Huge shoutout to the bartender for his excellent service, and of course, to Keith Frank for an unforgettable performance! Can't wait to come back!

I haven't been to a club in 6 years. I had so much fun. The bartender was absolutely amazing. As a former bartender I give her props. Very difficult to get to the bar tho.
