Cool place with cool people and a super-cool crew. There's no school like old-school 🦖
Just love everything about this place. Super friendly people and fantastic Bartenders! Great place to grab a good drink.
Always a pleasure eating here! Emilie was very sweet and diligent in making sure I got the vegan meal, some bread with no butter, and a vegan dessert! The vegetable Wellington was to die for! So sweet with a corn puree and savory with the grilled vegetables. Also their blackberry sorbet is amazing, one of the best blackberry sorbets I’ve had.
I was exposed to the Shreveport Club through BNI. It is a great venue. We utilize it for a meeting space for 2 hours on the 3rd floor and it is ideal for our purpose. I'd highly recommend using it for receptions or just as a place to meet.
Fun place to go! My kinda bar. Easy going, not pretentious at all. There's a pool table and some poker machines in the back. Bathroom is surprisingly clean. I've been a few times and always had a good time.
The bartender really makes the experience worth while!
My man Neal goes there all the time. Great place to hang out good people. Good food love going there.
Great place with great staff. Very accommodating to the comedy community.
A new stage and sound system. A very good music venue. I will be back.
I went there for the first time last Friday for the Metallica tribute band. I have heard stories about the bar being a bit “rough” in the past, but I have also read and heard that they have done a lot of work to change the image, build a nice stage/music venue, and create a safe environment. I am here to tell you that those stories are true! So true, in fact, that I brought my 22-year-old daughter to that show, and we felt completely safe! We had no issues with anyone. The bar tenders were great, and the fellow attendants were nice and respectful. I will be attending more shows at Bayou Thunder from now on, and whenever my daughter is in town again, I have no issue with bringing her with me.
Veteran gay bar featuring regular karaoke nights & drag shows in an unassuming space on the corner.
As the new guy on the block, I decided to check this place out based on reviews. It was not a regrettable decision. The bartender Jason was very hospitable, great drink prices, splendid music selections. The local patrons were neighborly, very supportive and inclusive as I felt right at home within minutes of walking in. It's a great place to kick off the evening/ night for pregame, chill n chat, vibe out, before venturing to larger venues if that's your thing. 😁
The Korner Lounge is hands-down one of my favorite local spots! The atmosphere is always welcoming, the drinks are strong (and reasonably priced!), and the bartenders know how to make everyone feel like a regular—whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth. There’s always something going on—from karaoke nights and drag shows to theme parties and special events—and the energy is unmatched. It’s a true staple of the LGBTQ+ community in Shreveport, but everyone is welcome here. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, dance, laugh, and make new friends, The Korner Lounge is where it’s at. Cheers to great vibes, even better people, and a place that always feels like home!
This is one of those best kept secrets kinda places. Celebrity Lounge gets all the attention but Allure is essentially the same bar, just upstairs. Same band or entertainment, but with a balcony view. It's also a little quieter, a lot more intimate, and very rarely crowded -- no fighting for service! Give it a try next time you're at the Eldorado.
Not a bad view to over look Celebrity night club. Allure is the top half of Celebrity, and if you want Hookah its only at Celebrity. It cost $5 to get in Allure up stairs, not sure about The bottom half.
They had a selection of bourbon, I’ll say that. Every bit of this bar insinuated it’s for a college crowd. There’s maybe 5 tables not at the bar and about 8 TVs as the backdrop to their liquor selection. We had to prompt the bartender for a drink menu. When we order off the menu she had to reference it to make a standard old fashioned. She also couldn’t find a bottle of Jefferson’s off the shelf. But she was probably new and I have grace for learning a new trade. The drink was about half simple syrup and half bourbon. The default tip was $10. Not 10%… ten dollars. For an $11 drink. There were signs posted that no tip is an automatic 20% tip (illegal). And they reserve the right to add gratuity to any bill (illegal). I would honestly not recommend going here. Despite their top shelf Blantons proving too aloof for the bar back, you may have better luck elsewhere.
Customer service is always excellent. The limited food menu is on par with a small bar. They have the BEST Old Fashioned!!!!!! 👌🏾 Plenty of tvs for sports watching.
Relaxed pub offering craft cocktails, whiskey & live entertainment in a traditional space.
2025 ~ After visiting and enjoying hands down the best smoked Old Fashion, we added Fatty A’s on our route to Gulf Shore, AL. We again had amazing service & and enjoyed the smoked Old Fashion, it’s more than a drink it’s art folks!! To watch the smoke gun fill the glass bottle and watch the smoke swirl, and inner mix with the whiskey, bitters, secret brown sugar simple syrup, will have you salivating… Thank you again from Kansas 2024 ~ We had the best time at Fatty’s, once we found it. The signage is not the greatest so it blends in with the restaurant next to it. It was well worth the search!! The Old Fashions are hands down the best, be sure to get smoked!! Our bartender was so knowledgeable, he even gave us a lesson and never acted annoyed actually seemed to enjoy our questions. We are from Kansas so he also made food suggestions for us.
Best Old Fashioned in Lafayette. Mixologist knows his stuff. Our favorite spot for a drink when we are in town.
Lucky joes is a great early morning / mid day dive bar.. they have wonderful people here. It's got video poker machines, comfortable chairs, one pool table and a very wonderful bartender everyday of the week. I frequent this place. If you like good people, that welcome friendly conversations no matter your age or where you are from.. come here for the cheap drinks and great neighborhood bar like environment.
The bartender was very rude..8 feel like it was because my friend was accompanied by her black husband, and I'm not find off the man at a person but she didn't didn't really know him so who was she to judge. I'm just saying. Any wAy BAD VIBES. W atmosphere.I COULDN'T EVEN PLAY MICHAEL ANGELO.
Awesome. Live miscues and open floor dancing on fridays. Karaoke on Monday and a fabulous party gathering on Saturday. You can find them open and not a lot of folk on Sunday so the space is all yours. Sunday participation isn’t as those of the other days of the week, but I think this is duet mother fact that had been closed on Sunday’s for a number of years and just recently started Sunday operations again and it just hadn’t caught on yet. So if you like the adult scene, this is your spot up until about midnight. Then, the music changes to the booty shaking sound. It’s packed, it’s cool inside and patios on the front side and back side of the establishment. The owners a very friendly and are very active in the day to day ops, and they know everyone that partinize the business. Been around for years and it is worth the 10-15 dollar cover. Five dollars on Monday.
I personally love this place and sang here a few times in the early 2000's. Let me clarify, it was karaoke but I can sing a pretty mean Barry White, for a lighter skinned fella. 😆 I went the other night on a whim, not realizing what night I went on, yeah, it was Juneteenth. As I said earlier I'm a little lighter and I could definitely got the, "All eyes on me" vibe. I've almost always been the only wyt guy at certain clubs so I was good, but I definitely could have picked a better night. 😆 But yes, I still love this place. ❤️ and the 90's R&B was point. Recommend to any and all who are good people. If you're about the B.s stay where you're at. 😉
Love the atmosphere, and live band! Could be more strict on the women dress code! It a conservative, classy vibe! So everyone that steps in should be what the club atmosphere gives. I only came once! But that alone took away the classy, conservative feel for me! I enjoyed the band, my drink! Those 45 minutes don't owe me anything👌
Good atmosphere. I went on a Friday night and there was a live band.. This is a smoke free place so that is a plus. I also had the chance to try the chicken wings and stuffed shrimp which both were great. I would recommend if you looking for a laidback place to enjoy food, friends and music..
Multilevel nightlife spot in a former train station with drink specials, drag shows & other events.
I came from out of town (from California) for the holidays and decided to stop by for New Year's Eve. Best decision ever! The building itself is charming, spacious, and beautiful decorated with three separate bar spaces and lots of room to dance. The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were delicious and far cheaper than I'm used to which was a blessing. I admit I have pretty bad social anxiety so I was wary about going (as I went alone) but everyone was so friendly and kind- I truly felt like I belonged. Not often I can go to a club/bar and enjoy myself so freely. But something about this place, it was magical. Patrons were so welcoming and I felt right at home! One of the older regulars even gave me a tour of the place and helped wingman me until I found other people closer to my age to dance with! The drag show was fantastic as well- the Queens were intensely charismatic and so talented and hilarious to boot. I highly recommend stopping by whether local or from out-of-town! I wish I lived nearby so I could come more often
Friendly welcoming staff, fun atmosphere, three different bars under one roof in a charming historic building. Fantastic drag shows, old train cars and a darling stray cat.
Been coming to the Round Bar for 35 years or longer. Wondering how many times the motor that powers the bar has been replaced over the years? Any who, its low key, great place to grab some cocktails after a great dinner next door at The Cub. Lots of top shelf selections and great music playing in the background. Bring your friends and have a few. Remember to take an Uber or designate a driver if you have too many. Easy to do with all the fun this place is.
Kaitlyn and Nicole were the worst bartenders I've ever encountered at a bar or restaurant at that. They were some of the worst bartenders you could imagine lol. It was so ridiculous. They had the worst attitudes I've ever been across and I go to a lot of bars. They were so put off on customer service and customer equality that just baffled me. Kaitlyn and Nicole! You need to hire some more bartenders that give a darn about patrons and from what I've seen they are the worst. I asked them what their name was and they almost through a drink at me which I thought was pretty crazy. Do not come to this place if you want to have a good time, just don't do it it's horrible
Pool tables, arcade games & beer pong draw a lively crowd to this multilevel venue with a full bar.
This is five star review for the type of bar that this is... This is a straight up oversized dive bar with the usual dive bar dirty, dark, and black paint feel but weirdly in a good way... the staff was friendly and the pizza was actually pretty good.
Staying Down The Street stopped inn For a pizza.went Back And Was Going to Hangout until I Followed A Bar Back Down to the Club Down stairs and was Told You're not Allowed Down Here Asked Him Why And Got Nothing But Attitude. So I Decided to Leave Before I Snapped on This Power tripping fool! Andrew the Bar Back was Very polite So was the Opening Bartender as well as the Blonde Bartender wasn't there long enough to get Names. Thnx The Guy From Seattle Via Dutch Harbor Alaska
We reserved for Saturday, we couldn’t leave until later in the evening, thinking we could go have dinner. Our reservation was at 11 we arrived and got taken upstairs to like a club environment so we were confused. However, we drove a hour so we were going to enjoy ourself. The server did let us know we could order food, even though we were in “club area” My only complaint really was when you are reserving online, they should definitely make it clear, we had no idea again we live a hour away. We all ordered the fish and it was probably the best fish I ever had. But just make the website clear, so we can know if we are in the “club” section, when we wanted to sit and eat dinner in the dining room section not the loud club.
Very cutesy. A great place for brunch, lunch or dinner. I food was good and the drinks were….strong. Great service and such a vibe. Music plays in the background and there are about 6 TVs showing movies and sports.
This sophisticated nightclub plays happening music & offers bottle service to a choice crowd.
Simple dress code to follow. Most sneakers and jeans cost the same as dress shoes and pants. If you can't dress to impress, stay home. Women don't want scrubs and face it, you're here for the women.
I was told since I had a tshirt on I couldn't get in but I seen plenty of people in the club with basic t shirts on at least mine had a design on it seemed a lil racist to me I will make sure I spread the word to people of my color not to go there
Atmospheric was good. They have a giant screen for watching games. Drinks are a bit expensive. We went to vintage but there was a kind of weird smell & had to shift to the Celebrity lounge. Did not try any food here.
Lounge is not great with re-entry. Takes a while to get through line to get in. It is a small dancefloor that is usually mostly empty. The seating is usually reserved and taken. Nothing like an actual club. This place features bands and DJs depending on the night. Suitable for the older crowd that insists on clubbing well past 40s.
Phoenix is the nicest and biggest club the SBC offers, with MASSIVE dance floor, multiple floors with a large staff ready to service you with cocktails and a fun SAFE environment. It's a high classy establishment, with a smoke free environment. It has several VIP sections , $200k light and sound to make your experience an unforgettable one. If you are just passing through or visiting Downtown Shreveport for the casinos.. this is not a place you will want to miss out on. Tell them Cody sent ya!
Terrible experience. MUST HAVE ALL IDENTIFICATION if you want to get in. Even tho these people are ratchet and have fake ids. Do not recommend. Go to Big Country down the street.
