Went for my first time for a meeting. It was an excellent meeting, excellent speaker. And a mix of people from different areas. I will go back.
Good people, good meetings, caffeine a plenty, good food and a fellowship that has saved my life. Great for younger people as well
Cons: need more visual display outside to signify the establishment is open. Close the curtains at least half way inside to obtain a darker and more speakeasy atmosphere. Pros: OUTSTANDING food, customer service, and drinks. Cannot recommend the place enough. If you are in town for just one day, stop by for snacks, a meal, or a drink... you will be happy you did 🤣
This is a must visit if you’re stopping through Annapolis or if you’re a local. The vibe is 1920’s, both in terms of decor and the cocktail menu. The appetizers are absolutely delicious and creative and there are no TVs to distract from good company. It’s located in the heart of Main Street in downtown Annapolis. You’ll enter from the stairs on the left of my Vida Taco Bar (see my photo). The drinks are great and the appetizers are absolutely delicious. The patio faces the state house so you feel like you’re getting a historic experience. Can’t recommend this business enough. (I was here at 1pm so my photos don’t show a big crowd, but at night it comes to life). If your server and bartender is Omar, you’re in good hands.
Convivial pub featuring classic Gaelic grub & American standards in warm, brick-walled environs.
Always love dining here. Food is great, service is great, atmosphere is top notch. If you catch the times when live music is playing it is a wonderful relaxing place to hang out. I pop in here almost every time I am in Annapolis. Highly recommend giving them a try.
Galway Bay is an Annapolis institution...a classic Irish pub serving delicious food like their exceptional Rueben and hand-battered fish and chips The creamy whiskey tomato soup is a treat. Reliably good for decades!
We have eaten dinner at this restaurant twice in the past two months. The food is phenomenally good. The wait staff is great, too. They offer a wide selection of fresh oysters and so many other seafood options. The mixed drinks and wine were all delicious. The first time we went, Kristen took care of us. She recognized us last night! She has a great memory and is a wonderful server. My only advice would be to have a few more non seafood options for the one or two people in the dinner party who aren’t sea food eaters.
I went to Seasalt for my birthday dinner and it exceeded all of my expectations. When we walked in we immediately felt the energetic vibe of the restaurant packed with locals accommodating large and small crowds with a packed bar and a swanky lounge. We also appreciated our server who was bright, bubbly, and incredibly knowledgeable on menu items and wines. We got the octopus and ceviche to start. Our servers recommend we take every element of the dish and eat it in one bite to get the full experience and she was absolutely spot on. The crispy salty capers, chilis, and citrus complimented the octopus so well. The ceviche which featured grouper was some of the best I’ve ever. Light yet packed with flavor. For mains we got the special which was the branzino and the king salmon. Both dishes were delicate but so delicious. We opted for the White Bordeaux which complicated every dish nicely. Portion sizes were perfect for us. By looking at the plate sizes we were initially skeptical but we felt completely satisfied and full by the end of our meal. Overall, Seasalt is great for any occasion. Every element of each dish was carefully curated to highlight the fish. It’s upscale dining yet casual atmosphere made it the perfect evening to celebrate my birthday.
Firehouse-themed pub featuring 40+ draft beers & live music nightly, plus casual seafood & burgers.
This was a neatly decorated pub in honor of law enforcement and the fire department. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered the chicken sandwich and soup and salad. The chicken was dry and flavorless. The only way it had any flavor was with the cheese and bacon on it. The chili soup was good but could have been a little spicier. The salad was good. This was a decent restaurant but we would probably not return.
A good place to get cheap beer and it has a nice selection of craft beers but the food is disappointing. My wife got chicken strips which were good but you got such a tiny amount. I got a reuben sandwich with fries which was just okay. The waitress was quick and did a fantastic job.
Intimate nook with 1920s flair offering bourbon & beer, plus refined takes on American comfort food.
This place is great! I just don’t throw around 5 star reviews unless things are exceptionally great!😊 great cocktails, steak salad ( cooked to my temperature request) burgers and the hand cut truffle fries are great!!!! Go chat with the bartenders, learn about bourbon, try something new! I had a Rattlesnake rye, lemon juice, egg white and absinthe! Wonderful!
Didn't get food, but hear it's outstanding. Impressive bourbon selection. Robust drink menu with prohibition cocktails!
Long-running (since the 1920s) neighborhood joint known for its crab cakes & creative pub fare.
Spectacular pub. Awesome food, friendly staff, and a great selection of food. The pub tots were our favorite, but our entrees (a pulled pork sandwich and house salad) were also excellent. We live in Virginia, but will DEFINITELY be coming back! Additionally, the nearby area is very cute and nice to sit and enjoy the marina.
This is just a dive bar. I was excited when I heard the description for the crab pretzel being fluffy bread with crab meat on top, but much to my disappointment, this is just soggy bread with cream cheese and too much salt. The three staff members I attempted to communicate with seemed too busy and disconnected overall a horrible waste of time and money. If you want a real crab experience, there is a much better bar for sailors that is just two blocks to the northwest.
Easygoing, wood-accented haunt offering eco-friendly New American small plates & creative cocktails.
recently visited Level with friends – A Small Plates Lounge in the Annapolis area and had a wonderful experience. I tried several vegetarian dishes and was truly impressed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their vegetarian options, not just as an afterthought but as a highlight of the menu. The ambiance was cozy and lively, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for creative and delicious vegetarian food in a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
We just hosted our daughter’s baby shower upstairs at Level, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The drinks were exceptional, the food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect—warm and cozy with exposed brick and charming string lights, yet still spacious and functional. We loved how the layout worked for us—we set the guys up near the bar in the back and the ladies up front. Everything came together beautifully, and the staff was truly first-class—attentive, kind, and on top of every detail. Highly recommend!
Got takeout a pretzel with crab dip and half order of deviled eggs. Good food, fair price, friendly service. Plan to return to try some of their other items. Edit: Returned to try their fish & chips, came with ketchup and tarter sauce, enough food for 2 people and very good!
Today… still great - I’d say the best local bar in Annapolis! Great food, good drink, friendly folks and tonight great music by Moon Cherry! 4 years ago…Best Fish Sandwich (I’d show you, but it’s gone!), mac-n-cheese and tots! Never had a bad meal here since it became the Dark Horse. Great people and service too.
Chill sports tavern offers American bar bites, game-day specials & a weekend lineup of local bands.
This place checks all the boxes of a local, fun, dive bar. Lots of drinks, darts, patio, live music, great service and the game was on. Loved it.
Great service and atmosphere for drinking and meeting new people. Update August 25. I stand ten toes down and double down on my previous review! Unfortunately tonight I tried another spot down the street food was great but service wasn’t and I returned here. Everyone is welcome and I feel it!
Spacious sports bar with burgers, wings & other grill staples, along with draft beers & lots of TVs.
Such an awesome environment to hang out and eat some delicious food! Monica was amazing and super welcoming! The food was TOP TIER!!!!! I had the Honey Sriracha Jalepeno Chicken, which checked ALL the boxes. Chicken was super tender and well seasoned, and the honey sriracha sauce was perfection!! I even took my hubby a plate home, which he loved!! We will definitely be back!
I was there for a bridal shower. The wait staff was present to help with anything we needed with being obtrusive. The food that was served buffet style and was kept warm or cool. Take home containers were brought out to take leftovers home. We had a lovely time.
Pet friendly restaurant!!! We were able to bring our 2 dogs inside and enjoy a nice dinner together. We had the Winter Special Bison Burger, Spicy Pasta, kids chicken strips, and grilled cheese. The waitress was super helpful and nice. She was able to answer questions about the menu and recommend things. Seating and vibes. Was just a really cool place. Definitely worth the trip.
I had the pleasure of visiting the bar at Graduate Annapolis and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is stylish yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Service was excellent across the board, but I’d like to give special thanks to Michael, who stood out for his warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness. He made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great bar experience in Annapolis.
Brick-walled tavern with a wisteria-covered heated patio serving pub fare & regional seafood dishes.
If you're not paying attention, you might miss it, but this is DEFINITELY worth a stop in. What a cool building and a really neat vibe. I'm so glad we stopped in! Great beverage selection, excellent service, and definitely try the crab puppies. Sooooo good! If you're in Annapolis, this is a must see!
This place has gone downhill. Crab dip has very little crab (tastes like a bowl of warm cream cheese), they have no beer glasses available, and the veggies are dried out / brown around the edges. There are to many great places nearby to eat here again
A local favorite, bi-level tavern in the former city jail serves cocktails, seafood & classic grub.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD!!! I ordered the double crab cake dinner. It came with a fresh, vibrant green spinach and delicious mashed potatoes. The crab cakes were large and packed full of crab meat. These days a lot of crab cakes are filled with so much breading (not the case here at all)! My wife ordered the fish and chips… that was equally fabulous! The serving size of fish was enormous. The outer breading and the fish was so light and fluffy….Not a thick, heavy, greasy coating. This was made fresh and came out hot. Not greasy at all. I almost forgot, we had the crab dip appetizer also. The bread was perfectly toasted and the dip sported a layer of fresh crab meat throughout….soooo good! This is a cozy environment right on the bay. I wish I lived here so I could frequent this place all the time. Staff was super-friendly and attentive also. Forgot to mention, great portion sizes. I forgot to take photos until after we started to eat (especially fish & chips).
I had a BLT sandwich and curly fries. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. It was very good. They were pretty busy but they took care of everyone.
