Came up to do my karaoke song he calls me up and as I'm walking up he starts the song. By the time I get to the mic this song is already singing the lyrics so I am totally caught off guard. I turned to tell him that wasn't fair and he just tells me to keep singing I get very uncomfortable I just tell him I'm all set and I still tipped him $5 even though he was horrible. 0 out of 10 will never go back
I ate from the food truck. The food was OK. Docs place itself was fun as heck. I'm too old to be out past 9 but the crowd was too cool!
Wish they played actual music in between the karaokes. They should definitely split into sessions so people could actually enjoy the music as well
I love Doc's Place! It is a perfect neighborhood, semi dive bar establishment, and I don't mean that in a negative way. I have nothing but nice things to say about the bartenders. I'm a friendly easy going guy, and I feel they respected and returned my kindness. I've been to Doc's on Fridays and Saturdays, but my favorite are Thursdays because you can sing more songs than during the weekends. The KJs are good people, and I don't know why people complain about them. I've never had a bad experience requesting and singing a song.
