Long-running, family-owned sports bar known for steak tips & other hearty American plates.
We drove specifically for the reputation on how great the steak tips were. I got half beef and lamb tips with fries and it comes with a salad (dressing was great). It did not disappoint, lives up to the hype about the tips. The place is small, but it had a lively atmosphere. Everyone just doing there thing and eating. We sat at the bar. It was a Sunday and it was packed. We had to wait until two seats opened up, but not a big deal. I would definitely go again.
My customers tell me regularly they have the best steak tips around so I decided to finally try them. Absolutely NOT disappointed! The marinade is incredible and the tips are tender and juicy! Staff is friendly, service very nice! I will be coming back most definitely. 😍
If I could give it a 4.5 I would. The steak tips were great and had a nice glaze on them. The cuts were lean, tender, and juicy. These are the best steak tips we've ever had. The drive getting there was a bit precarious due to bumpy roads and detours, yet worth the trip. What it lacks in ambience it makes up for in food quality.
The best steaktip meal I’ve ever had. Darn right amazing. You get about 6 chunks of steak smothered in their homemade marinade. It’s super filling! I think the side of fries is better than their onion rings. And watch out for their side of hot peppers. They’re very hot! A nice little pub place on Foster Street in Peabody! Prices are fair. Staff is great. I always go here for lunch and it’s never that busy, good time to go! I’ve always heard this place is known for their steak tips, and that’s the only meal I will ever order here! I even order a steak tip meal to go and bring it home for my wife, nice little bonus. They have a small little parking lot to the left of the restaurant. Probably fits about 20 cars and there’s also street parking available. Overall, I would recommend a yummy steak tip lunch at Champions! Come and enjoy!
A Knockout Lunch by Champions pub.. Not the biggest place but absolutely stunned by the quality of the food. The staff moves like synchronized swimmers in a mini kitchen—fluid, focused, flawless. I watched the steak tips get sliced with the precision of a ninja warrior. The steak subs? Bursting with flavor, dripping in cheese, nestled in fresh local Piantedosi rolls that practically screamed with taste. They don’t skimp on sides either. Mounds of fries—wide or skinny—leave you satisfied and then some. They also had onion rings added to my in the future order. A bunch of taps pour liquid gold, and yes, pumpkin spice makes its seasonal appearance. What really struck me was the scene at 10:45 AM, before they even opened: grown men standing outside, drinking in the aroma of a great lunch to come. That steak? I didn’t leave a scrap. I’m usually rushing around all day, barely nibbling. Not today. Today called for a full-on flavor assault. Front-row seats to the grill had me already planning my next visit. I was eyeing the sausages, grilled chicken, and other sizzling options. It’s a small spot, but it delivers a heavyweight punch. Great staff, great vibes—a perfect place to catch a game with friends. New Tv's and I like the booths on the back wall. Word of advice: plan ahead. This place gets busy fast. The chef isn’t playing—he’s a seasoned pro, and it shows in every bite.
