I have been going to Rob’s G Bar for years now and I truly love the experience. It’s like Flint’s version of Cheers where everybody knows your name! It is a fun and inviting atmosphere. The music is fun, the food is delicious, the bartender Gavyn gives great service and makes the best drinks in town! In an area where gay bars are few and far in between it is like a safe haven for the community. I would definitely recommend anyone to stop by for a visit!
i’ve been coming here for a few months now and i’m so glad flint has a place like this to spend time. gavyn always hooks it up a strong drinks and good vibes. great place to go and dance and spend time w friends. karaoke on thursday is so fun and everybody seems to be having a good time and drag shows every other friday are always a joy to watch :) i encourage everyone to go check it out
I attended the Flint Roller Derby Prom last night. The spot is nicely light for after dark and great for day time. Quiet little spot that's like Wonka chocolate factory. Beautiful decoration, blends of art and culture. Comfy setting and a quick switch to a dance for. A beautiful spot with great food, spirits and experiences. Definitely a fun time. We'll be back for the wine flight.
Really enjoyed this place! Great customer service! Food and the atmosphere was awesome! Overall, a very nice spot in downtown Flint and I hope they continue to do great things.
Excellent food! Especially the thin crust pizza...no matter the toppings...delish. Chili is awesome & not too hot😊.Service is great ..the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming just like an old friend. Prices are good...I'll be back soon....
I absolutely love this place! I grew up eating here and when I eat their food it tastes like home! The owner Tom Beaubian is amazing. He's there in the restaurant every day and not just office work he will be right there helping in the kitchen. Don't be intimidated by the location because the food definitely makes it worth it!!! From their insanely delicious thin pizza to their amazing pastas and homemade salad dressings. A lot of the staff have been working there since I was a child so the wait staff are pros and fantastic people in the kitchen, management and wait staff 👌🏻🥰😄💯 I have worked there myself! Restaurant family Atmosphere!!! Definitely highly suggest making your way this amazing restaurant/bar, you won't regret it!
Cavernous venue for metal, outlaw country & rock bands features 25 kinds of Michigan brew.
I've seen several shows here and have never had a bad experience. The quality and variety of acts they bring is awesome. From the bar staff, to the merch staff, to front door staff, everyone is very helpful and great to deal with. Great place to see a show.
Awesome venue to see your favorite artist. Small but not crowded, t-shirts were so cool had to grab a couple. Drinks were affordable, will definitely be returning.
Personally, I love the idea of this place. 5 stars off that alone. Food all looks great, budtenders/staff are all super friendly. Good environment and chill setting. Place could use some fixing up and some spark but for what it is, can’t say nothing bad. I’m a regular now. As a 90s kid I have dreamt of a place like this since I was 12! Haha great place to wind down and relax.
Everytime I go to Vehicle City I am greeted by the most loving community of people not just the workers but the other customers. If you don't fit anywhere, try going to Vehicle City where everyone forgets your name and smoke on the best locally sourced ganga in the country
Have been here a couple times now. Cocktails are a bit pricy but good. Sat on the patio for a bit and played uno inside. My only complaint is the trash hole in the middle of the tables....fill those in or get a tiny vacuum. Hopefully next time I visit, it'll be taken care of...
They rock it out! From bands to special events , great beverages, plus amazing food options it's always a fun time at Market tap
A nice Break from the Local pubs, the Sports Coupe is a Great spot to catch up on Your favorite sporting event and have an Ice Cold Beer. Two Shuffle boards await your skills, come on over and Celebrate with Vic and Deb Reyna!
First time going there and loved the atmosphere. Went to watch some friends play Shuffle Board and loved the regulars.. Will be back forsure.. Felt like that bar on Cheers....
Our neighbor recommended them and we thought we’d give it a try. He said the steak was amazing but we decided on the burgers with fries and potato skins as an appetizer. Honestly this is the best food I’ve had in genesee county. Their burgers are so darn good I don’t have words and they are humongous. Highly recommend and we’ve eaten here at least once a week since our first visit.
came in after Apollos refused to serve us we had a large crowd. Not sure of the Young Ladys name but she was awesome took or drink order got our food and even got a group photo of all of us together. We had just come from a funeral and wanted to sit eat and catch up. Thanks for an awesome experience. When I back home I will definitely stop for a meal.
Great little place to enjoy a great glass of wine or a great IPA great food with a little bit of a twist if your looking for a new spot or want something different stop on into this gem you won't regret it arcade center in the corner great patio setup,
Service, food and atmosphere are phenomenal! Great place to grab a drink and a snack. There are 20 taps and many different canned coctail options. The new owners are very welcoming.
Love all the old pics on walls n people are great that work there the lunch buffet is always different n soup is so good n homemade delicious they also do party's n large groups n has a out side area that is great for get together
Its a local bar that has a good vibe to it. Cheers 🍻
I have been hearing great things about this bar and they are all true. It is always great to find a bar burger that is well made and served with a great drink. I grabbed a porker burger because I can't pass up pulled pork on a thick beef patty and bacon. This was a full on 3 napkin experience. I also had the poutine fries and a Moscow mule to finish the meal everything was exceptional. The atmosphere is great located downtown flint. I'm so happy to have found a new lunch spot
Great food, and service! Id definitely recommend them.
Draft brews, bar food & live music in an old-school atmosphere with brick walls & an outdoor patio.
I heard my cousin was there so I popped in to surprise him. I ended up staying a while because the atmosphere was great. I didn't catch the young waiters name but he was awesome. He stayed well past his shift to take care of us. You guys have the best customer service!!
Great food, quality service and drinks are good too. Love all of their bourbon options. They make a solid old fashioned. Disappointed when I tried to order their featured cocktail for the weekend and it's Friday at 5 and they don't have the mezcal that goes in it. 😔 It should be removed from the board. This place is so nostalgic. We had a waiter who gave service which mimic the old Neworleans. The level of service was compared to a goodnight kiss. This is the torch of this city a must try.
What a great bar! Don't be put off by the alley or dark stairway. On entering you'll find a cosy dive bar with friendly people and the best burgers cooked to order and at great prices. Loved the Chimay Belgian beer that is hard to find outside Europe. Chris, the manager was so interesting sharing his brewery knowledge and secrets. We were just passing through Flint but we will make sure to pass that way again. Really great place. Thanks for a wonderful evening! Love the t-shirt!
Adorable and very inclusive bar! Prices were the best I've seen in similar settings. I went on a Saturday for karaoke and it did not disappoint. The sound quality was spot on, the music selection was versatile, the employees were entertaining, encouraging, and helpful. My guest even got up and sang a few songs! Overall they'll see me again.
Great Bar! Staff is very friendly, wonderful selections of drinks! Overall great experience time after time
This chic wine bar in a vintage building offers eclectic American & European small plates & entrees.
Until last night, I had never had a bad experience with this restaurant. Now, I and everyone at my table has no desire to ever go back. We were promptly seated because we had a reservation for 6:30. We placed our food and drink order at the same time within 10 minutes of being seated since we were attending a concert down the street at 8pm. We received our drinks and salads in a timely fashion. And everything tasted good. Once our server cleared our salad plates, she stopped attending to our table. 30 minutes went by and she walked by our table numerous times, even when we repeatedly looked at her and motioned that we needed something. I finally asked another employee for the manager. I explained to the manager that our server hadn't been to our table in over 30 minutes and that she had ignored our several attempts to get her to attend to our table. I explained that we had a concert at 8 pm and that we needed an eta on our food. Server was sent to the table and I explained the situation and our frustration that she ignored out attempts to get her attend to our table. She claimed she never saw us. Not sure how that's possible since the final time she was attending to the table right next to us and all of us we're waving our hands and saying hey and excuse me to her and she walked right past us. By then, we had been there an hour with no main course. We watched the table next to us get their food and have it cleared even though they were seated after us. Same server as us. The server stated that the kitchen was behind. I explained we had a concert at 8 pm and we to know when we will be getting our food. She said she would check and then left and didn't come back for another 10 minutes. She finally came back to tell us the food is being plated now. Food came out and there was a ton of stem coming off the mushroom risotto. It was too hot to eat and we were out of time. We boxed up most of our food and got our bills and left. Unfortunately, we missed the beginning of the concert. It should not take an hour and a half to receive your main course. Never again.
Amazing on all levels. Perfect atmosphere quiet enough to talk without issue and beautifully decorated. The food was amazing. The mango chutney with the shrimp app was divine. The pork dinner was tender and flavorful. The Raven is a must have drink. Thank you for a great night with friends.
This was my 1st time eating here, and I must say, it was really good! I ordered beef nachos and my bf ordered the shameless burger and onion rings. The nachos and onion rings were amazing, and my bf said the burger was delicious too. I ordered 2 Jack and Cokes also, they were perfect! This is a cute bar, with a pool table, a dart board, a jukebox, a vape vending machine, good food, great customer service, and a loaded bar. I recommend checking them out!
Updating again everything has changed. I was back in and ordered the fish dinner with onion rings. The fish was store bought frozen fish, the onion rings were also store bought. Both used to hand made. We also were in during happy hour but were charged full price for our drinks which were weak and made by a totally inexperienced bartender who was left by herself when she clearly didn't know what she was doing. I say this because she made our drinks in tall glasses using a shot glass as a jigger and only one shot in a very tall glass, and she didn't know there was cranberry juice in the soda gun. She thought there was no cranberry juice and neither did the cook so the cook ran to the gas station next door and bought a single small bottle of juice that was just enough for one drink. After this experience and the change in food quality we won't be back. Update since the ownership has changed: We were greeted immediately. There weren't many people in the bar, but it was a decent crowd and it still seemed like our server was only waiting on us. I ordered the walleye special, my boyfriend ordered the wet burrito and our daughter ordered a burger. None of us were disappointed. The portions were great and the food tasted great. The service was amazing. My boyfriend spent a lot of time prior to the change with his dad and was reminiscing and the manager noticed he wasn't eating and stopped to make sure we were okay. Even being a regular under previous ownership we didn't get that type of service. As we were getting ready to leave our server even brought out a sample of stromboli for us to try that was absolutely amazing! I'm sure we'll be stopping in more frequently. This is a great hole in the wall bar. They've got great drinks and food at reasonable prices and the staff is always friendly.
Upbeat sports bar offering pizza, tacos & American grub, plus live music, motorcycle nights & more.
Found this place when we flew in late for business. It definitely has more of a bar/club vibe; dark, loud music, & very eclectic decor. They had fantastic live music, a very happy crowd and bartenders & wait staff that were working hard. Our meal was fantastic; loved the French Onion Soup, Garden Salad, & Smothered Chicken. Good meal.
Stopped in on a dreary Michigan fall morning. Must have been early as we were the 1st ones in the door. Sat in a booth and Amber came out and got us menus and coffee ☕️ and juice orders. After some discussion we settled on a Big Biker Breakfast, a Celtic Biker dish, and some Biscuits & Gravy. Turned out to be a lotta food. But we forged ahead. Scrambled eggs were just right as were the hash browns (nice crust on them). Was happy and English muffin was an option (and they even had tomato juice!). All the Meats were really tasty too. Biscuits & gravy were quite tasty too.
Alex and her team have done a complete remake of this rooftop bar in 2025, and the space is wonderful. Comfortable couches, firepits, amazing food, and the best view of Downtown Flint around. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great spot to hang out in good weather!
Good overall dining experience. Food portions were a bit lite even for small plates but were of good quality and taste.
Ordered a pizza on a Sunday. It was excellent. I don't always go for the thinner crust but maybe I should more often, because it really was delicious. I will have to keep it in mind for future pizzas. They have a great looking menu so I want to try some other things (breakfast and burgers). Wonderful, timely service, I definitely will be a customer in the future.
First time, no complaints. Food was good!
Circa-1973 family-run pub serving breakfast, American faves & 10 beers on tap, open until 2 AM.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here after it was recommended by the B&B we were patronizing. Reservations are not required, but we made them just to ensure a seat. They do recommend calling 24 hour ahead for reservations. We had a couple of drinks (pretty good), but no appetizer due to a late lunch. I had the ribeye, which was slightly overcooked, and a baked potato (yummy). My wife had the salmon, which she loved. She also ordered carrot cake to go and to be enjoyed at a later date. A note on the decor - there is a lot to appreciate with the stallion wall murals and the tree art on the floor. They also have patio seating, which we did not partake.
I've been here several times now. I'm never disappointed. This last time, it was a Thursday, I think. Had a large pizza and a pitcher off brew for like 20 bucks. I'm definitely going to get back for that deal again. The atmosphere is great. This place has been around a long time from what I've learned. The folks there take great care of the place and my family and me at every visit.
Nice chill atmosphere. Not much of a drinker but I love their tacos. My brother and I come there to visit and catch up from time to time. Edit: Went back and got the tacos again. Skimpy pathetic little tacos now.. Won't be going back again. And I waited 45+ minutes for 6 tacos. Oh and a junkie that pissed himself needed to use the bathroom and was kicked out by another customer.
Great laid back pub with live music on the weekends and the food has been really good so far, typical bar fare. Service usually good as well. The right mix of nice but also laid back
Food was good and the folks running the place seemed cool. Great music! I'll be back!
Great place to go on the weekends. Lil small town feel see people you have not seen in years. Older crowd, but do not get the drinks big mistake. Food too expensive 20 dollars a plate not worth it at all
Pizza, burgers, wings & beer on tap provided in a welcoming hangout with DJs, pool & trivia nights.
The food was good with a decent amount of choices. The place is pretty clean also. I recommend checking this place out. Good spot for watching a game also.
1. Overcharged. Pulled pork nachos, on your website says 8.99. I was charged 12.99 each for 2 orders of them yesterday on a to go order. 2. Stale generic chips. Couldn't even chew them. 3. Tons of lettuce tomatoes etc but barely any pulled pork on them at all. 4. Asked for the bbq sauce not to be put on the nachos, and the were smothered in the sauce instead. 5. Ice cold. Sitting at the end of the bar when I got there and not under a warmer. I will be calling to talk to the manager today about the overcharge and how 98% of it had to be thrown away it was so un edible.
I honestly don't drink & only had to use the ATM there to help my friend but it looked clean inside 🙂
This is a "Dive" like pub on the southside of Flint. I immediately felt uncomfortable but then everything became kinda laid back, until a fight broke out. They have a great patio with ample seating. Its very easy to have a good time at this bar. Its also very easy to get caught in a scuffle. The owner is very personable. The staff could use a tune up, or rehab.
Very very clean. Free pool all night is a plus
My joint. My big homie Red is the owner and I never pay to get in! Drinks flow and women ate beautiful!
Gastropub in a former men's apparel shop with exposed-brick walls & the original steel ceiling.
Beautiful restaurant! Catchy phrases on the shirts of the staff. Nice outdoor seating and indoor. Delicious food! Large portions. Lots of options to pick from! We had salads, meats and chili and all tasted great! I'm not from the area but if I go back I'll definitely remember this place and stop in for a bite to eat again!
Stopped by Blackstone Smokehouse while in Flint and had a great experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting—perfect for a casual night out. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick. It really added to the overall experience. The food was solid. Not the best BBQ I’ve ever had, but definitely tasty and satisfying. You can tell they put care into what they serve, and everything we tried was well-prepared. Overall, it’s a great spot with good food, a nice vibe, and even better service. I’d definitely go back.
I have so much fun at this bar. You can always count on the regulars to make you feel a part of the family. Very affordable alcohol and food prices. One of the best burgers in town. For $5 dollars you can get a burger chip combo. Caring atmosphere. This bar has come through for so many patrons, raising money for funerals And fundraisers after accidents. I've never seen a bar care so much about it's customers.
Bartender that was working Monday night was acting unusual hyper, pulling a knife out saying how he wanted to stab people while standing behind customers.., (not cool) but the bud light is $2 on a Monday. "Please investigate" 4/25/22
Rock and Roll Baby! 🤘🏻I'm glad to see this place open and thriving. Bands playing every weekend keeping the music scene alive 🧟♂️🖤
The staff at CRB are amazing people! They let us have a live celebration dinner there, and I can't thank them enough for their generosity for letting us be there. The bar patrons were pleasantly friendly. The restroom was very clean. There was live rock bands playing. Still a great Great staple of the Flint area.
Nice atmosphere. The food… is bar food, not bad for the price but it’s not everything. I think the one thing that makes it great is the people everyone seems to pretty much know each other.
Loved the outside patio with Jenga and comfotable booths. Very cozy, bartender was attentive and prompt!
BAD SERVICE! Honestly me and my friends were having a decent time until she got another drink and there was this weird black substance/thing in her drink I saw. She simply asked the bartender to remake it because our waiter walked away and didn’t come back for a while. She said that she wouldn’t remake it and couldn't refund. She had no explanation of why she couldn’t remake a drink that had clearly something foreign in it except that her manager wasn’t here and she couldn’t. I literally have never been to a bar and they couldn’t remake a drink especially when my friend didn’t drink one sip. I am so glad I saw that gross black thing floating in her drink. I am so disappointed in this establishment because I heard good things but this truly killed the experience the bartender wasn’t apologetic at all and was on defense right away. She didn’t want a refund at first she just wanted her drink remade. Will not be back here ever and I advise no one else to. Its dark in here and there is no telling whats in your food or drink.
J.W.’s Music Factory (Whiskey Hill Bar & Grill) is an absolute standout in Flint’s nightlife scene! The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by an electric, friendly atmosphere—whether it’s karaoke night, live music, darts, or pool. The staff and owner are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Drinks & food are affordably priced, with generous shot pours that go beyond expectations. The setup is clean, organized, and the stage is ready for a fun night out. Truly one of my go-to places for a lively, memorable evening!
Great dive bar. Cash only-be prepared. Lol!
A great classic bar a hole in the wall one of those places you looked to get out of sight want to have a great authentic experience and a genuine Flint bar no trouble here shuffleboard available everyone is welcome and, Lottery. camaraderie is running rich well recommended bar staff are very quick at service and know their stuff bring your cash and have a great time
Stopped in during the Lions game and had a great time. The food and service were solid, and they even had a free raffle with some awesome prizes just for being there. Between the Keno and pull tabs, there’s always something fun going on. I’ll definitely be back!
Food was good. More of a bar than a restaurant. If you're looking for a place to have a drink and grub this will do. Service was good. Friendly staff. Atmosphere is sports bar themed and looked very nice with a lot of televisions. Food was spot on! I would recommend for people looking to socialize while having a drink during a sports event! 💚💯💯
The owners clearly have no respect towards the residents in the area they’re located, every weekend after hours they make so much noise people can’t sleep and the neighborhood dogs are barking because of them, mon-thu they’re fine fri-sun expect police calls from now on, cause if I could Attach all the videos I have of all the chaos id do it, knock it off
Always a vibe this my spot
Other than our server not checking on us. (She was chatting with friends) Everything else was great. The food is always amazing!!! I had to get our table silverware and napkins, and then I had to keep asking the bartender for items and refills. I tipped the bartender also for being so helpful.
Super impressed with this place. Everything we ordered was fresh. I mean... even the queso was homemade. Steak tips appetizer was enough as an entrée My nachos were fresh, even the chips. The meat was taco seasoned. Beers were quick and cold. Service was professional and spot on. We came in a Tuesday but looks like it's s fun Saturday night. Volley ball, pool tables, lots of outdoor seating, partly heated. 5 club couches with fire tables outside. And a large band area. New favorite spot
Had to wait between a wedding and reception so IStopped into a little dive bar called Peppermint’s in Flint and had an awesome experience! I ordered a Blue Pucker Island Punch (Malibu, Sprite, pineapple, and Fruit Punch blue pucker) and it was absolutely amazing. NO FOOD HERE- but you can certainly bringing your own the gentleman down the bar here has a big JOHN steak and onion that I am jealous of! Secretly wishing he would share, but of course they’re not offering lol Big shout-out to Sara, the most excellent bartender-friendly, attentive, and makes the best drinks. The atmosphere here has that classic dive bar charm, but with service and drinks that go above and beyond. Highly recommend if you’re in Flint and want a great drink and great service!
A friend of mine wanted to go here because he does often. So I drove him up and we had a beverage. He paid to have a meal cooked for him. He was pleased with it. It's a smaller older bar with several locals chatting.
It was my first time here, and I can honestly say, I had a good time. There is no alcohol, but I understand why, and it helps keep not only the entertainers safe, but the staff as well. All the staff there are very friendly, and the cover charge I think is fair. I will definitely be back again
Fun time! Pretty girls, just wish some Asian girls were there. Fair cover charge, Free parking, and free popcorn! Staff was friendly. Will visit again soon. Wish they had fantasy football parties.
If cheers were real life in Flint Michigan, that's where it would be. There is honestly no reason to go unless you have already been there. Everyone, there are people you grew up with. If not, they were brought by someone that you did grow up with
Had a great time people were good music was great same for the beer
Beautiful CLEAN club with GORGEOUS girls, great management, and customer service. Happy hour is from 10PM-11PM. Friday and Saturdays are the best nights to come. Lots of girls to choose from of every size and color, great music, and drink specials. Very family oriented.
The new manager James offers top notch customer service, makes you feel like you are in a Vegas / Ybor city club.
