Room 38 is very cool, hip, and sophisticated. Not where you want to take a young family due to its environment, but certainly where you want to land for a romantic date or night out on the town. The lobster mac & cheese, pretzel bites, and brussels sprouts are always fantastic. Lots of fun drinks like spicy margaritas.
First time dining at room 38. The service was great. The food was great. If you go to room 38 make sure and ask for Stella she’s the best server around in Columbia! Her recommendations were spot on.
We hosted a dinner for the UMissouri veterinary house officers at Room 38 and we had such a wonderful time! The food was delicious, the drinks were well poured and the patio was such a nice vibe! We really appreciate Soleil, Chef and Tyler for taking such great care of us! We will be returning for future events!
First timer, I’m from STL, here on a business trip with my three co workers. Starting off, Ghadi was the best, she was a wonderful server and very helpful when we asked her questions about the menu. LOVED HER! Food was delicious. The four of us started off with the spin dip, crab Rangoon dip, pretzel bites and ahi tuna. Everything was amazing, especially the crab Rangoon dip I would recommend every single time. We finished off splitting the candied bacon burger with truffle fries! Chefs kiss!!!!! Had a raspberry mule and a glass of wine :))) Bartender was also very quick and our drinks came out so fast and made with love. My colleague got the banana nut bread old fashioned and it was so tasty too. Overall 10/10 experience thanks again to Ghadi for making it awesome!!!
To be fair, I think we just got the bad waitress, who spent most of the time talking to her friends who were at one of the tables. It wasn’t busy at all, so she didn’t have excuse to forget about our drinks - she only remembered about us after she saw me getting up to go get them from the bar, where they have been sitting for a while. She also forgot about the food and spoiled the evening. Thankfully, the manager did everything possible to make the things right. Also, unfortunately because of the construction going on, the outside area was not well suitable and we had to sit inside.
