The Second Chance Tavern is a hidden gem in the Henderson/Cadence area. The look inside is very sleek. A bar, restaurant tables, and a mini-lounge with comfortable sofas exist. Their soft tacos are delicious, flavorful, and come in chicken, carnitas, al pastor, and one other I can't think of now. I've eaten restaurant tacos all over the nation and these are the best tacos I've ever eaten. I also had the chicken buffalo dip which was to die for. It's huge and serves 2-3 adults. Their staff is always friendly and attentive. It's definitely worth the trip to their establishment.
We stopped in not expecting much because the place doesn’t look that impressive from the outside — but wow, were we pleasantly surprised! The food was great, fresh, and flavorful, and the service was excellent. Our waitress, Karen, was incredibly friendly and helpful, checking on us often and making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a sports bar — tons of TVs, all tuned to different NFL games, so no matter where you sit, you’ve got a great view of the action. Highly recommend this spot for good food, great service, and a fun game-day vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

Very chill and the staff is very friendly with each other! They will treat new customers like a regular from what I have seen and been through myself. Food is way better since they have been under new management. I mostly get the same breakfast burritos but I’ve noticed the menu has been updated / upgraded with the owners. Bar top gambling is also good and by good I mean it feels like it’s fair and not cheating you out of your wager. I definitely recommend getting out and trying it for yourself!
Probably had the best salad I’ve ever had in my life here. The place is new. Love the high ceilings, friendly service and most importantly the amazing food.
