Cozy, kitschy tiki bar with creative, fruit-based rum drinks, hand-carved furniture & bamboo decor.
A local friend of mine brought me here…at 10am…on a Wednesday. This place slaps!! I loved it so much, I HAD to bring my wife back to experience it for herself. This is my new favorite part of a visit to Vegas. The drinks are strong and go down waaaaay too easy. Be prepared: It’s dark in there and take your time. Two drinks here go a long way. Thank you Frankies, and see y’all soon!!
This place is perfect. It’s small, perfectly decorated, the perfect tiki vibes. The drinks are strong and have the perfect ice/drink Ratio. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town .
There was only one employee and she was hustling behind the bar, so the tables didn't get cleaned between guests which meant you couldn't set your drink down. The drinks were good though.
In Las Vegas from Australia I was advised I must check out Frankie's. The drinks were really good. The atmosphere was perfect, dark with nice coloured lighting and vintage tiki Decore. Surf and exotica music as every real tiki bar should have and I picked up a few really cool tiki mugs, matches and souvenirs, possibly the best bar so far I've been to, we went to the golden tiki after that but I drank so much at frankies that I don't recall going to the golden tiki, I just had a couple of photos in my phone from there the next morning.
I love tiki bars! And I had been here years ago when I was in Vegas. I had been meaning to get back and my wife and I finally did. Drinks were awesome just could not make up my mind. Service was outstanding and we were there early arvo on a Friday and one of the owners was stocking the bar and he was a real nice guy as well. A great mix of locals, other out of town types like us aka tourist and even a band who was in town to play some joint was in getting a little relaxing beverages on a Friday. There are no sports on TV which despite the NCAA tournament going on I found a huge plus and needed change of pace. How many places put tvs all over and you never really pay attention to the actual place? There are TVs but they are playing old tiki vibe videos and very retro stuff. I added a couple of swizzles to the collection a cool t-shirt and great mug. It was the only souvenirs I brought back from Vegas. Again I was there 25 years ago or more and it was still awesome. It is a true tiki bar and does not try to be a tiki bar and something else. They do it right. Intimate and dark when you come into from a sunny Vegas arvo and it has the total package down right. I wish I was better at names but the gal behind the bar was helpful getting me the right rum combo that I was looking for with the taste my head was looking for. I started with a hint of berry then round two and three went more pineapple. All were perfect! I hate to give away secrets but this place beats any lame casino bar by a billion miles!
