Great cocktails in a beautiful setting. The 1864 Tavern is not to be missed when in Reno, NV. The seating areas are thoughtfully arranged for groups or an intimate date night for two. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Classic atmosphere like that of New Orleans' better cocktail lounges. Reasonably priced crafted drinks and service was great. Emelie was attentive and clearly proud of the establishment. Definitely worth a stop.

Came here earlier in December after wanting to try it for a while. Really cool atmosphere and great drinks. I wish we got the bar tenders name that night. He was super attentive and friendly to everyone. One of the best spots in town especially if you’re looking to get away from the more “college-y” type bars.

Was recommended the place by a few friends so we decided to come here as a large group. Nice cozy spot with couches to sit down on. It's not extremely spacious but if you ask to move some furniture around to make room, they should let you. Good drink menu. Had a great time here

My wife and I came here at 10p on a Friday night, it was moderately busy but there were still plenty of places to sit. The bartenders are really friendly and are eager to help you find a liqour that is right for you! My wife got a hot buttered rum and I got a reno special (bartender chooses the drink, you choose the alcohol) with a Santa Teresa 1796 rum and we both were impressed with the drinks! A bit on the pricey side, the atmosphere was delightful and the overall energy of the place was great :) Gloomy enough to be goth friendly!
