The food is amazing, especially the mac n cheese and the salmon! Friendly staff, gorgeous decor
New watering hole in town…great food, excellent selection of NM beers on tap. Atmosphere feels nice and cozy. Although it’s in a hotel, it’ll definitely find itself being a locals’ best kept secret. Try to catch Scott if you can. Super rad guy to talk to while you’re hanging out. I’ll definitely be coming back.
I didn't get to try the food but great place. I went to see Doug Stanhope last week. The view from the back patio was phenomenal.
This is my favorite place in Taos. Located just out of town and always welcoming and friendly. The food is great and happy hour is Mon-Wed 4-6pm.
Had a nice time listening to good music (2 guys on guitars) and sipping a great bottle (from Spain) of wine. Those in charge were willing and able to accommodate our needs to ensure we were well served. Finished off the night with a charcuterie board which was a little pricey but good! All in all, the place to be on a Saturday night 😊 5🌟
This place is a gem! We stumbled upon it after visiting some museums and galleries, and it was lovely! Some locals joined in a Celtic music jam and it was so much fun to eat, drink delicious wine and enjoy meeting new people and listening to great music!
Very chill vibe and laid back. Singer with a guitar kept the live music going until about 45 minutes to closing. Food was really fresh and drinks were great... they made me a mocktail that started out blue but once you stirred it, it turned pink from the reaction with the lemon juice!
Best margaritas in Taos- hands down! Great live music and dog friendly.
On our last night in Taos, we ventured out on a stormy night filled with lightning ⚡ strikes and downpours. Wifey was acting nervous and apprehensive as we sat in the car parked a half block away from The Lounge by Rolling Stills as sirens blurred and rain 🌧️. pouring down along with high winds. After about 20 minutes of waiting in the car it lightened up enough for us to literally run to The Lounge. To our surprise their were about 10 people there. Call us The Brave... Or crazies. Anyway we seated ourselves on an available couch. Nice and comfy and was immediately greeted by Tamara, our server for the evening. She was sweet and gracious and super attentive. After menu-ing we decided on a charcuterie board. Oh it was filled with all the goodies. The drinks came soon after. Old Fashioned Whiskey for me and wifey did the Moscow Mule and wine route. We had a great time chatting, and Tamara would come over and entertain us with stories related to things we were familiar with. They were also playing salsa music, most of the songs from my country of origin, Puerto Rico... The unofficial 51st of the USA. Citizens of this great country since 1917. Well it was a great night after all. Thank you Tamara for being such a great host. 5🌟 in any weather!
We visited the Lounge by Rolling Still Distillery after dinner. The drinks were handcrafted works of art that were beyond delicious. The staff are incredibly talented, knowledgeable and friendly. This is a must visit.
Intimate watering hole at the Taos Inn with eclectic live music & a small New Mexican menu.
This is our go to spot for good drinks and atmosphere. We had the trio(salsa, guacamole & cheese dip). They were all so good. The cheese dip reminds me of the one my mom made when I was a kid so it takes me back to a happy time. They have live music, I think every night.
The drinks were great and were only surpassed by the atmosphere. The only thing that was a bit off-putting was the fact that they wanted to charge us to add a little salsa for our tortillas chips. We were paying $17 to $20 for margaritas, and we had several rounds. We asked the server to add a little sala for our chips, and she said there was a charge for that. You got to be kidding me... ridiculous! We won't be going back.
Homey spot for drinks & sports on TV along with shuffleboard, pool & frequent live music.
Fun place for a late snack, staff seems friendly with the locals. They got live bands playing. Margaritas were delicious and nachos were served fresh and warm. The chicken cesar salad was outstanding. I was not very satisfied with the tacos though.
Will return. The Adobe architecture, also known as the Pueblo Style has a few sections, with a pool table. Our tour manager took us there. It sure doesn’t disappoint. Casual atmosphere. The drinks are fresh, food portion is large and yummy.
In Taos for a couple days and decided to grab a bite to eat. We ordered ciders & salad & pizza. It was delicious. Glad we stopped in. Our server was a great guy too!
The beer is actually quite good. I really like their pizza too and I don't eat much pizza. Being able to get just a 6-in personal size was perfect. Nice door patio with shade and sun
Casual, comfortable place offering an extensive menu of American comfort food, beer, wine & tequila.
My husband and I enjoyed an excellent meal here last night. The fish and chips, which my husband ordered, were probably the best we have ever had. I had the burger and it was cooked perfectly! Our server was amazing: attentive, quick and pleasant. We even got dessert to go, which we never do! This will definitely be a repeat spot for us when we come back to Taos.
As a long time customer I will not be returning. I ordered two items for take out, a Hamburger and Shrimp Alfredo. $53 dollars later I returned to work to find a hand full of "Shrimp Alfredo", just enough to satisfy a 10 year old, maybe. $28 dollars is excessive for the amount of food the in the Shrimp Alfredo plate. When I called the manager to understand the situation I was just given a huge story about tariffs. Tariffs have become a huge excuse to price gouge and give the customer less. I usually have decent service when dining in. It's unfortunate we could not come to an agreement so I will no longer support The Gorge Bar and Grill.
