Fantastic place. Two of my most fav bartenders work here. Shane and Mike. Love those guys. Great atmosphere and always a good time. Love coming here. Would definitely recommend visiting if ur in the warehouse district.
Love everything about this place- they created the perfect vibes and Shane behind the bar is the best in Albany! It’s in a great location near Lionheart on the Green. Awesome outdoor patio & balcony, there’s pool, cornhole and darts as well.
Good small venue that's (fairly) easy to get to and hosts great bands.
Really small and narrow venue. Beer is expectedly pricey. Decent spot for smaller-drawing acts. You'll have to find street or garage parking.
Really thrilled with this place!!! My friend and I booked a throwing session tonight and we ended up staying to eat and chat for several hours after because the vibe was SO amazing! Big shout out to Christopher who hosted us and had the most inviting energy, he really made our experience memorable! The bartender was a total sweetheart too! Highly recommend and can't wait to come back! 🩵🪓🩵
This was the second time I have axed thrown and I enjoyed myself very much. Chris was a great coach and made a hell of a drink (pictured). The summer is a lean time for them so let's show some love by ensuring we go out and support this establishment. Great vibe and I love the interior and exterior of the spot. Brings a new meaning to The Yard!!! Enjoy yourself and invite me. Tell em Vin Vin sent you I'm tryna see something. Deuces, Vin Vin
Laid-back hangout with a patio featuring New York-sourced beer, wine & spirits, plus regional grub.
What a fantastic place. The food was amazing. Small menu of items from all over New York, but everything we had was delicious! The on-tap beer selection was extensive and great. The bartender was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you’re ever in Albany PLEASE PLEASE stop in and enjoy a beer, a Shirley temple(my daughter had 3), and the wings or garbage plate!
I love their compost pile (vegetarian garbage plate). They serve their mozzarella sticks with melba and have Utica Club on tap. What else could you ask for?
Pint Sized - what a place. It’s cozy. It’s homey. Basically an extension of my living room. Great beer. Great bartenders. Always good vibes among bar guests. I always love coming when J is working bar. What a kind and tentative bartender they are. A Jack’s Abby truly tastes better when J pours it. Also love coming here for Friday karaoke. Good vibes all around!!!
This bar is small but quite fun. An excellent spot to chill by yourself or with a small group of friends. The bartenders are friendly and chatty. There are retro video games in the back room. Karaoke on Friday night.
Two-story watering hole with a rustic-chic vibe serving an extensive selection of beer & bar fare.
Great spot for craft beer! Extensive tap, bottle, and can list. There's plenty of option types for everyone. They have cider and seltzers also. Some of the prices are a little higher than average. The food menu consists mostly of different types of tacos, which are appealing. Tacos come 3 to an order with chips and sals for $16. We ordered 4 different types and shared. Three out of the 4 types were cold, unfortunately. Parking can be tough. Place is definitely worth visiting, and we will give them another chance.
Awesome spot in Albany, great bartenders- the building has a lot of character and charm
Lost & Found Bar & Kitchen is a great restaurant for family and friends. We ordered wings, summer salad and wraps. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend eating in the patio when the weather is good.
The best bar in the area by far! Staff is very friendly and vibes are always on point. They have a great food menu that changes regularly, and do not underestimate their ability to make a great cocktail! I had my bridal shower here and it transforms into a lovely event space as well. Bob, one of the owners, is great and helped make sure my event was perfect! They also do a cornhole league and trivia on Tuesdays. Highly suggest this bar to anyone looking for a good hangout spot!
Informal hangout for wings, grilled sandwiches & other pub food, plus martinis & TVs, in comfy digs.
Nice place, friendly attentive staff. Handled our large group smoothly. Food and drinks were very good. Few other sports teams hanging out. Will try to find an excuse to return.
I like the vibe here, it feels like a community hole in the wall in the best way possible; it feels like a hometown bar that everyone is welcome at. The owner, Lynn, appears to be a very nice and accommodating woman and a hard worker who isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and help her staff - atleast that’s how it appears from a customer point of view, obviously I wasn’t in the kitchen or behind the scenes or anything like that. The bartenders are willing to make different types of drinks for folks and even went digging for a certain liquer I was looking for. I will say - the drinks are on the expensive side . I’m talking like these are NYC prices . Or maybe I just don’t go out drinking enough . I’m not sure . The food is decent but please for the love of god, LYNN, can you use real cheese on your nachos ? Nothing ruins a good plate of nachos like canned cheese or whatever that is . I also didn’t care for the chicken on the nachos . I’m not sure if it’s canned or frozen or what - but it wasn’t it . Stick to the beef if you want meat here.
This place and everyone that works there, from the ownership down, is absolutely amazing. Friendly, warm, and kind, with great food, and great people.
Come see the girls, play some pool, have something to eat and relax and enjoy yourself.
Old-timey, wood-paneled hangout offering pub grub & craft draft beer, along with growlers to go.
Visiting Albany on our way to Cooperstown we were wandering about the town and found the Corning Tower and the Hill Street Cafe... liked them both. Great pizza, salads and decent wings. The waitress / bartender was wonderful and the regulars sitting at the bar were friendly and helpful. We had a good time and a good meal...two thumbs up!
6 of us enjoyed dinner here on Sunday evening before a nearby show. If you have an event in the area, this is a great option for a centrally located restaurant. And they are open Sundays, which was hard to find. Even without a reservation, we managed to get in. However, we were there early; I suspect a table might have been harder to get later on. Service was amazing! Drink refills without asking, servers checking in just the right amount, and overall great customer service. It is a small pub, which means it gets loud. This was fine for us, but if you are looking for a quiet spot to have long conversations, this will not be the place you want. Pub food and pizza seems to be their specialty. Boneless wings were very good; a medium sauce had just enough spice. Mozzarella sticks also good (great marinara!) and a decent amount of them too. The pizza was delicious! I snuck a piece of my hubby's pepperoni pizza and loved it! Homemade sauce, great crust, and a nice balance of sauce to cheese. Sandwiches we ordered were good, just not outstanding. If I go back before another show, I would honestly order some more apps and pizza (I was thinking about getting chicken tenders, but didn't. Bet they are great!). Overall, a solid choice if you are in the area for a show and looking for some great pub apps and pizza.
Was visiting from South Jersey. I was in Albany for the weekend and went here every day I was there! Couldn’t beat those $2 green tea shots + the DJ was great.
Clean, nice place. Back deck. Pool. Lots of tvs, sports. Affordable high quality drinks. Nice local people.
We rented a private room for a birthday celebration. We used up about 15 minutes of our time talking with the hostess and putting in drink orders and that took about 15 minutes to arrive. I think she was the only hostess working multiple rooms and helping at the bar. But the frozen margaritas were good. Very strong according to the drinkers in the party. The music selection was decent and sound system great. We didnt get any food. My only suggestion for improvement is with the floors. They were so sticky that i almost fell over when i had been standing in one spot for a few minutes and then went to move and only one foot came off the floor. I got a laugh and a helping hand from my son but, i think a strong cleaning solution to clean up those drink spills is needed. 🙂. All told we were happy with our night and would definitely return.
We were there for the karaoke. Overall it was a fun experience. I’m sure we will be back. There is an app to add songs to the queue along with a tablet that is there. Some songs we could not find on their list. If you use the app, make sure to connect to the correct room. I’m not sure if I really heard much of a difference with the microphone without the microphone when everybody was singing songs.
I came here for brunch and My server Ivy was really nice and made me feel really welcomed. Give that girl a raise! I ordered the kale Ceasar warp with truffle fries and it was DELICIOUS. The restaurant has a chill cozy vibe and is in a quaint part of town. If you're in the area definitely stop by. Highly recommend.
Great spot! Food was delicious and the vibe was perfect. Nick the manager was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. We stayed for Dove After Dark with a DJ from 10–1 AM and loved the fun late-night crowd. Will definitely be back!
I can't say enough about how incredible our experience was at The Copper Crow. We needed to make it happen in under an hour, and the team absolutely delivered. Our drinks and food were on the table in just 10 minutes – talk about speed! But it wasn't just fast service; the food was PHENOMENAL, bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. And the drinks? Even better! Every sip was a delight. This place definitely earns a 100-star review in my book. Can't wait to return!
Going here we expected an eclectic menu but upon ordering the Tom Yum Shrimp, Harissa Cavatelli, the Sushi Roll salad and the Ribeye we were underwhelmed and a bit disappointed. For me the Harissa was too spicy not indicated on the menu that it would be. The Tom Yum was too experimental and tasted weird to most of our party. The Sushi salad was the biggest disappointment being a huge bowl of mostly lettuce and ginger and hardly any salmon. The ribeye was the only dish really enjoyed. Service was average our drinks were refilled timely and we were given 2 pitchers of water at the start which were needed. But for the price we paid for our dishes we were left unsatisfied. Also the wait was exceptionally long as we waited 45min-1hour between ordering our mains and receiving them.
Unpretentious, family-friendly sports bar with TVs, hearty American pub grub & weekly trivia nights.
It's been 30 + years since I was last here. Same Great atmosphere & Lovely Linda!! Cheeseburger was perfect. Beer always 🥶 & service quick! Parking on both sides of building.
Lovely atmosphere, great food. Our waitress was incredibly kind and gave us advice on living here, as we've been considering it for a while. She even sat with us at one point, lol. Phenominal customer service. We got the fish and chips and a few drinks, all reasonably priced. The portions were big too!
Wood-paneled Irish tavern offering classic food & drink along with a patio & weekly live music.
This is my 120 th review. I have driven or walked by 275 dining places on 2 continents. I have visited about 175 establishments. Anyone who has read my reviews knows I try to write in an easily readable format. I try to make fair calls on ratings and realize that it is my feeling alone and only on the item I have decided to try. High class food is not a requirement. Frugality in all things has stood me well. I am fortunate to get a good quantity of views, both in photos and text. Thank you for indulging me in this prelude. Now for #120. A week and a half ago I visited McGeary's with some family before a young people's event at the Palace Theater, an icon of the city which i have also reviewed. We had various items and i decided on a standard bar food, a burger and fries. I get my burger well done so it can be hard not to cook it until it is a hockey puck. The chef did a great job and it was just the way i like it. The fries were standard fries. All in all, it was quite good. I had a beer and it was a short one and it is pleasant to me when establishments have smaller glasses available. The were no complaints from the adults and youngsters. A good time was had by all. Our waitress was Chrissy, in the photo along with Tess, the owner, holding one of the kids artworks. Christy was upbeat, friendly and worked hard to take care of our bigger group, always with style. It was fun talking to Tess, the owner, who always had a smile, also says Al, inside comment. It had been a long while since I was here, and I shall return. I hope this long narrative did not bother any readers.
Decided to try this based on the reviews. I wish. I didn’t. So I expected an Irish pub. With like bangers and mash or fish and chips. Nope, they have an odd menu. The best thing out of the group that was ordered was the steak. The burgers were not cooked correctly and my son got his burger after everyone else ate, maybe they ran out. The fries were soggy with grease. The server was good and kept apologizing for the delay as it wasn’t his fault. Maybe it’s a better bar than restaurant.
Refined quarters, some with kitchens, in a genteel hotel offering a cocktail bar & breakfast.
The place is so nice! The hosts are awesome too! We walked around the building when we first got there and it was amazing to see. There are great snacks available for the guests and water. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Literally the only negative is the walls are a little thin and you can hear a lot through them. Other than that, it was the best place ever!
Would not recommend staying here. While it is charming and cute from an aesthetic perspective, everything else about it falls apart upon your stay. If you need a roof and bed, this will do. If you want anything else like comfort, not the place to go. Rooms are not properly cleaned. There are stains on pillows and bedding. Found hair left over from previous guest all over bedding and shower. The carpet is pretty gross. The bed is rickety-crickety and incredibly uncomfortable. Makes a loud squeaking noise if you move a half inch during the night. Walls are paper thin. There is an area near rooms H4 and H5 labeled “Private Residence.” Whoever lives there screams while on the phone or Zoom meetings, late every single night (around 11 PM). They also own an incredibly loud dog that barks at every sound made in the hotel. If you open your door, the dog will be barking for five minutes. If you turn on your water in your sink, dog will be barking. If you turn on your TV, dog will be barking. Do not stay in H4 or H5, whatever you do. Staff is quite rude and rarely there. Lacks customer service. Acted like they were upset to have a guest ask them a question about their stay.
Craft cocktails, brunch & gourmet pub grub in a brick-walled tavern with live music & DJ shows.
I had a great experience at The Savoy in Albany. The burger was absolutely delicious juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Their drinks are no joke either, generously poured and well-crafted, which made for a fun and relaxed evening. We also tried the shishito pepper hummus, which had a nice kick and great flavor. The only surprise was that it was served cold, I wasn’t expecting that but it still paired really well with the assortment of fresh, high-quality breads that came with it. Overall, a solid spot for great food, strong drinks, and a cool atmosphere. Would definitely come back!
I stopped into this bar with my boyfriend and on Monday night and was pleasantly surprised. The music/vibes were great and we absolutely loved our bartender whose name I think was Joseph. It’s always smart to have an authentic and friendly person behind the bar and we had a great time chatting with him all night. Looked like he was the only person working that night, which was surprising, but he seemed to handle it with grace. Also, that man knows how to make a good strong drink! The cocktails were beautifully made and aesthetically pleasing. The food was served quickly and fresh, however, the garlic aioli on our burger was super overwhelming. The burger could’ve been 10/10 without it. We also had the butter chicken Mac and cheese which was pretty good. Overall, I’d come back for the drinks and vibes any time.
What a great bar. Owner Joe and bartender Korine (sp?) were awesome, welcoming and attentive! Great tap selection. Cool vibe and laid back crowd. Dog friendly. Definitely checking this place out again while in town.
They don't have a kitchen so you're allowed to bring your own food in and a pizza shop is like 40 yards away. It has very respectful clientele for the working class right near St Peter's Hospital 🍻
Eat at Savoy tonight. Get the slushy drinks. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been(the back patio or dining room). Listen to someone you think may not like Steely Dan talk about Sade. Order the steak frittes rare. Eat a burger. Drink a Summer Boy. DRINK 5. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the movie playing above the bar, but have a drink and watch it anyways. Eat slowly. Drink Fast. Tip Joe and Hailey. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy Savoy, its really quite good.
Stopped here while on a business trip. Great food, service, and specials. Definitely recommend. Friendly and attentive staff as well :)
Bavarian food, beers & weekend brunch served at indoor picnic tables, plus European soccer TV.
Visited this place so many times but it has always been crowded. This was first time it was quiet but good part was we didn’t have to wait long to order. It was my partner’s birthday and they had free bier boot (2 ltr) on the house for birthday customers. That was interesting. I had tried their food and cocktails in my earlier visit. This was only for beer, and we were so happy to get free beer, so just paid for my drinks 😄. Their large drink options must be tried so will be coming back more often and esp on the day of birthday, not going to miss it.
They have great hangover breakfast sandwich. Awesome spot to catch a soccer match and friendly bartenders 🫶✨ cheers
Susies is awesome. Great pub with great bartenders. Very cool outside patio seating too, with games, live music, etc. Also great food at their sister place, The Local 217 Taproom, right next door. Check it out!
Neighborhood pub with character Great bartender. It seems like an inviting locals bar hiding in plain sight. Was here decades ago (the Griffin at the time) and nothing has changed except the floors aren’t nearly as sticky!
Wednesdays are the best . Have to go see Sammy from 1130am to 5 Very personable Very friendly You will love her...🩷🩷
Believe the hype! Casey Finn’s delivers for service, the finest Miller High Life and Jameson whiskey, and I heard that the Ruebens on St Patrick’s Day are the jam. Was sincerely hoping for the rumored bartender vs customer fight (see review from a few years ago), but despite a brief genuine moment of concern (“are you ladies lost?”), we made friends and will be back.
Hip spot in a historic building offering updated American eats, rotating craft beers & live music.
Met a friend here for lunch and a drink at The Hollow. Our friend was at The Hollow the previous night to hear a DJ and said it was great. I had a Ranch Water to drink as we looked at the menu. My wife had a 6oz beer. For lunch we shared the Tennessee Hot with the Chicken (southern aioli, house sweet pickles, brioche $15.50) with the chips and a Kale Caesar salad (baby kale, grated parm, fried capers, house caesar dressing, grilled croutons $14.50. Everything was delicious and the bartender was friendly and attentive. I would go back there and try something else to eat and would like to go when they have music.
I was told to try the vegan steak dinner so I made a reservation and it was 10/10 amazing. The presentation wasn’t the best but the steak was so delicious the potatoes were seasoned very well and the greens were so good. The customer service was great I had a waitress covered in tattoos and she was so beautiful and kind her customer service was perfect! The vibe was great and I was greeted when I arrived and when I left. The meal was $30 and totally worth it I’m coming back for sure!
An absolute institution here in Arbor Hill! Laid back place, great to watch a game or host a quiet party. Staff is charming!
This is an establishment for people 70 and older. Don't go with your friends expecting to have a good time. The owners daughter is the bartender and expects that you imply come to watch tv. Shut this place down and let the owner be at peace and enjoy his elder years. I would give zero stars if that was an option
I got kicked out because the bartender (racist, blonde, Caucasian woman) overheard my conversation and heard me telling my date that “I don’t feel obligated to tip”. Wasn’t talking to or about her, we were just having a general conversation. It was comical but I will never go there again. The music sucked anyway and I can get drinks anywhere….
The bartender Tzipporah is so amazing! She is very intensive she’s very sociable she’s engaging very nice and attractive! You have to come visit!
Pub grub such as fish 'n' chips alongside British beers & single malts in a 1730s brick Colonial.
The atmosphere is pure English pub right down to the low ceilings. Winston scowling down from above the fireplace. I had delicious fish and chips with malt vinegar. The waitress was possibly the most attentive I've ever had . Not overly intrusive but obviously observant of her tables and ready to fulfill any requests in a timely fashion and with a genuine and friendly smile. I ordered a sausage roll for later (pictured) the flaky pastry was sublime and the sausage just the right flavors that I remembered from my childhood cookery classes in my secondary modern 3rd year. A wonderful experience. Will definitely be back again. Maybe try the Kedgeree next
Absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick lunch and drinks this afternoon on our way home from Albany. This place feels as if you are walking straight into a neighborhood pub in England. The deco was spendid, the signs were the perfect blend of humor and "pay attention stupid", and service was friendly and prompt and the food and drinks were delicious. I had a proper shepherd's pie, and he had a wonderful pub salad. He was especially pleased with the beer selection, and my "bees knees" gin cocktail was one of the best I've ever had. BONUS: This place is within walking distance of the Palace Theater and easy parking. We will definitely be returning!
American grub, unique cocktails & craft beer served in an airy, industrial space with a comfy patio.
Had a very enjoyable experience, including our large, delicious entrées, and our quick, attentive server. Everything was on point. Everything tasted amazing, and our food came out together, and at perfect temp. The server was very courteous, and checked on us regularly, but didn't hover. We were very happy with our dinner, and will be back again soon!
The appetizer was excellent—full of flavor and a great start to the meal. However, the burger was a bit disappointing as it came out greasy and overcooked. Still, the overall atmosphere and service were good, and I’d come back to try other items on the menu.
Cozy, down-to-earth hangout featuring familiar pub fare, lots of TVs & dartboards.
Prompt, friendly service. OUTSTANDING food. Fair warning, the mozzarella logs are enough for the table 😂👌. Seriously delicious. Would recommend. Unpretentious proper pub fare. Little things stood out, romaine on the BLT 👍, asked for a to go box, the server brought a separate container for the au jus. The onion soup wasn't available because they were MAKING it, as opposed to opening a tin or packet. That speaks volumes. To the good.
Great local bar and grill, great food, great service even better staff
Festive beer garden & gastropub in a historic building, where drinks come with free pizza.
We came for lunch so it wasn't that busy. S.O. has Celiac. Waiter wasn't incredibly knowledgable about what drinks were safe, but the cook nailed the food. His burger was brought out without chips (which I could have and were some of the best I've eaten) because they do not have a dedicated fryer. Great food and atmosphere. Everyone was very nice.
Good food with great service! The burger was very tasty, a huge serving of fries, good beer, and the service was courteous and helpful. I will definitely visit them again when I return to Albany.
Easygoing gay bar featuring DJs, karaoke nights & burlesque shows, plus outdoor seating.
I've been going to Rocks for years. You're always made to feel welcomed, and it's a safe space. The owners care about their customers and treat you like family. Weekday nights the pub is open and has that small-town bar feel with different events, from drag shows to video games. Weekends the club opens, and you can dance the night away. When you need to get some air, the back porch is the spot to cool down and hang out. If you haven't stopped in, I recommend it!!!
Been going to Rocks for 17 years. At times, it was like a second home for me. And I’m so happy to say that nothing has changed in those 17 years. Still a warm welcoming and loving bar for the entire community. No matter if you are straight or lgbtq. Peter and team run an excellent establishment. I remember when it was only one side. They take care of you like family. Always have and hopefully always will.
Iconic Irish-style fixture since 1884 offering pub grub & draft beer in cozy digs with a patio.
A great rebirth of a Albany classic. Nicely redone with a real welcoming atmosphere and staff. Make sure to check hours of operation as they are in flux.
The loaded fries are absolutely goated. Compliments to Daylin for finessing some fresh cheese sauce for it, although i didn't get my added beef with it, but i ain't complaining. the wait was absolutely worth it. my friend Dani had an extra patty added to her smash burger, i think that's where the mix up happened, but this place is definitely the spot for some good grubs and espresso martinis. the tacos are an absolute banger. Get yourself a glizzy! 🌭 🤪
Kinda low key which makes it a promising place.. Top shelf drinks.. And they NEVER run out of Cognac.. #MyKindaBar Stiff drinks and the Pool table get me everytime.. Great bar ladies Cady N Bunni..
Eric the bartender didn't steal your money a guy that came in to play lotto did. It's all on camera, so call the cops all you want. What kind of idiot leaves $230 on a bar that is packed and walks to the other side of the bar and sits? You also accused another patron of stealing $100. I think you need to stay home, everybody is robbing you.
Laid-back local haunt dispensing burgers, beer & weekend brunch amid TVs & jukebox tunes.
We came for wings, drinks & sports! Drinks were good. Service was fast & friendly. Wings were outstanding. Had a great time will definitely be back.
Best food my husband and I have ever had. We ordered and everything was hot and on the table in 5 minutes. We’re stilling talking it about it the next day. Cannot get over how good and quick it was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Burgers & wraps are menu staples at this comfy bar offering trivia, karaoke & live-music nights.
I chose this place for the free clams on your birthday so that is a nice perk. You seat yourselves so there was no wait for a table. Our waitress was pleasant but we did have to track her down after a long wait to pay our bill. My son and I both got the French onion soup and yuck. The onions were cut very large and were hard, as in not cooked down at all. My son also had a chefs salad which he enjoyed. My other son got a burger which appeared to be a frozen preformed patty. My husband got the fish and chips and also didn't like the fish. I did enjoy my birthday clams. But based on the yucky burger, fish and soup, gross men's room (per my husband) and fairly slow service, I would not return.
Went for my birthday dinner and was so excited about the steamers. They were disgusting, I couldn't even make it through my first bite without spitting it out. Then I got the "fried chicken" sandwich. I asked our waitress how it was and she said delicious, really good. It came out and it was a chicken patty. Very disappointing is an understatement.
Cool bar for American craft beers & top-shelf spirits, plus a pool table, dart boards & live music.
Lionheart is solid but I definitely see the draw backs of it. Lot of reviews complain about the food offerings or lack there of and staff. I’ve enjoyed the few times I’ve been there but I do agree it’s more of a local vibe I wouldn’t come here if I was from out of town. There are great dart boards and a pool table as well. Spacious upstairs and many bars tops up there as well.
Great bar! Big space with a brewery upstairs.
Was visiting Albany and staying in downtown . Was hungry and stepped out for food . Saw this place - dawns cafe ! It was just 8 pm when we went there… they just had drinks .. no food ! Can’t believe they didn’t have food ! Service was ok…. Beer on tap was good. They had blue moon and it was good . They didn’t even have some finger food … there were seats outside and some seats inside . Average place overall .. 3 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️
The food is always good @ Dawns. The steak meal and the chicken parm meal were delicious. The drinks are great
Family-friendly chain offering a sports-bar-style setting for American food & arcade games.
I recently visited Dave & Buster's for the arcade experience and had a great time. There were plenty of game options to choose from, ranging from classic shooters to unique interactive games. A few of my favorites were Halo, Big Buck Hunter, and the Axe Throwing game (with rubber axes). I purchased the $55 credit package, which provided a little over 300 credits. In about 2.5 hours, I used about half of my credits, so there's definitely enough playtime for multiple visits or a longer session. The arcade was well-maintained, and the game selection was diverse, offering a mix of skill-based and ticket-winning games. Overall, it was a fun experience with lots of entertainment value. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a variety of arcade games, Dave & Buster's is a solid choice. I'll definitely be back to play more!
We love spending time here, so many games and so much fun, one of my favorite places to come back to. We played for like 3 hours and felt that fime flew so fast
Gay bar & club with 2 floors offering various games, karaoke nights, drag shows & a dance floor.
Gone here a few times on Friday nights and really enjoyed it. The only things I didn't love about it were sort of out of the bar's control. Like how at 2am every time on the dot, the dance floor just starts flooding with creeps and kills the vibe. Or how the bar gets so crowded that it's hard to close your tab at the end of the night. Those are just things to keep in mind if you go there, not really complaints. Also, the second floor needs better music. Remixes were pretty annoying and everyone would audibly groan when a good song would be remixed with something random that nobody's heard of and nobody could dance or sing along. We kept having to go back downstairs for a palette cleanser because it was either karaoke or one of the bartenders' playlists on Spotify which were a lot better. Other than that, it's a fun place to dance, do karaoke, or just hang out. Bartenders are very nice and professional. Very good about understanding what you're looking for if you tell them. Drag shows are also fun to catch.
The new Sunday afternoon bar tender J, is a very good bartender. He was attentive and he actually spoke to everyone in the bar. Refreshing to see someone who is young being a good worker and a great bartender. I stopped going to Water on the regular when I moved south. J gives me a reason to go up there on a Sunday afternoon.
Upbeat bar & grill with karaoke whipping up wings, burgers & finger foods, plus cocktails.
Food here was decent but a little overpriced. I had a salad and the French onion soup. Service was good, but there were not many people there. The bar tender did overcharge me for drinks. When I brought it up, she questioned me and once I clarified how many I had, she adjusted the bill
Atmosphere was amazing!. The crowd was so good. Everyone was appropriate, casual dressed, music was 80s,90s and early 2000's. Karaoke was the best. The drink menu was very unique. They had there own flair on cocktails that did not disappoint!. Highly recommend
Upbeat restaurant with a sporting theme, showing live games & serving classic American comfort food.
Amari, the Server/Bartender rocked the bar with amazing customer service and attentiveness! The food is under rated, and I am so surprised that it is not busier. I stayed at the Hilton 2 nights, on a Wednesday and Thursday ($5 Burgers😉) and it was the highlight of my stay.🩷
Not busy at all but ended up having to seat ourselves and after being ignored by 2 waitresses we got our own menus. Probably would have walked out but only restaurant that was near hotel. Asked for medium rare burger and arrived more well done. Brioche bun grilled but soggy from too much butter added. Subbed French fries for mashed potatoes and they were left too long under heat lamp and had a film over them. Fish and chips scored better. Fries crispy and two pieces of fish were small but crispy as well. Waitress kept disappearing so refill on drinks not an option or would have been there all night. I would understand if the place was packed with customers but it wasn’t.
Get place for vibes! Fun to hang out with friends and enough green space for kiddos to run around. Food was meh bar food but good place to chill and drink.
If you are going out in Albany on a Saturday night this is the place to be. Bar that's not hard to get a drink, lots of people to meet, dart boards, at least 6 cornhole courts, and fire pits. Such a fun atmosphere!
