I went to Code tonight, and honestly, the atmosphere inside was solid — the music was jumping, and the event itself was fun. But the way the staff handled things completely ruined the experience. First, the security and front door workers were absolutely disrespectful. After my friend got her bag checked, security found a tin with weed (which they allow inside), and instead of just handling it, one female security guard loudly announced she might be “in the mood to smack someone.” Super unprofessional. Then at the second check-in to scan QR codes, everything was chaotic. The staff was yelling different instructions, couldn’t manage the line, and it was just a mess before the club even got crowded. On top of that, the club advertised online that a table purchase included 8 free entries for this specific Saturday, but when we got there, the guys in our group were told they had to pay because of an “event.” That kind of bait-and-switch should’ve been made clear ahead of time. Inside, things didn’t get better. One man in a fedora — who I assume was working there — kept grabbing my friend aggressively as we tried to move through. He wouldn’t stop until she finally turned around to confront him. A bald security guard actually apologized for him, which says a lot. I asked for a manager because, as a woman, that situation was way too much to just brush off. Instead of apologizing, the woman “organizing” the tables (long dark ponytail) laughed at me and made excuses. She wouldn’t call a manager for me, so I had to track one down myself. The manager offered free hookah as an apology, which I appreciated, but honestly, the entire staff needs retraining. To make things worse, later on another tall, heavy-set security guard was pushing through looking for people smoking. He actually put his hands on my friend and moved her with two hands — she’s small, and there was absolutely no emergency happening. The way the security handled themselves all night was completely out of line. Overall, the music and vibe were there, but the staff was so unprofessional, aggressive, and disrespectful that I would second guess going. Bottle service was amazing tho great ladies they had for that department.
Food is not good, don't waste your money. People only come to get drunk and get into fights. Overpriced. False advertisement. Have you ever questioned why the metal detector is at the door? False advertisement. Many reviews are by the owner's friends and staff. I wanted to give zero star.
Love this place! Been going for years. One of the best bars in the city and a hidden gem. The food is AMAZING and the service is great. Even when they're packed, you get a drink surprisingly fast. The food is great and super cheap. The $9 chicken nachos are a steal, the spice bag is great and so is the burger, but the chicken Caesar salad with Brussels sprouts and fresh burrata is PHENOMENAL! MUST TRY!! Great atmosphere for sporting events. The owner is very engaging with his guests and has created an amazing atmosphere. It's a massive Mets, Bills, and WWE bar. They're also a Notre Dame bar now and can't wait to see what GameDay Saturdays are like.
Nice local sports bar that was very welcoming to an outsider! I will definitely come back. The food is good and bartender Aaron, was knowledgeable of the area and a pleasure to chat with.
This formerly hidden speakeasy-style bar serves refined cocktails & snacks.
What a perfect modern yet classic loungy speakeasy. Such great vibes along with impeccable cocktails, great music playlists and the servers really do care and put forward their best effort. Hands down one of the best outside of Manhattan.
Gorgeous spot with amazing martinis The place is absolutely beautiful: stylish, cozy, and with a really nice vibe. It’s the kind of place that feels perfect for a romantic date or a laid-back evening. The music was a bit too crossover for the ambiance and my personal taste, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The martinis were outstanding, easily the highlight of the night. I’d love to see a few snack options on the menu to go along with the drinks, but overall, it’s a great spot I’d definitely return to
Relaxed taproom hosting weekend DJs & serving numerous whiskeys, jumbo cocktails & pub grub.
I discovered this place on the same day I lost my apartment to a fire in neighbor's unit. Cold and broken -- i found this gem to bring warmth back to my life. I call this sort of a establishment a dive bar PLUS which translates to just my kind of place. They had great local options on tap. Bartender was super friendly. There were nuts on the ground! A proper time indeed. And there's old tap handles on the ceiling, never seen that before. The food was also phenomenal and the atmosphere had a welcoming, communal vibe. Perfect for snagging regulars. Will be back to say hi to Dolly Parton.
Bartender was very nice, service was really good. Great drink selection. No food, unfortunately, but the cheap drinks and big menu selection was great. They have a dart board and a jukebox as well. The bartender there was playing great music and I felt very welcome here. Definitely recommend.
Cozy Mediterranean-style bar with cocktails, hookah, weekend DJs, karaoke parties & bar grub.
We got the chicken pizza and fries it was delicious. For drinks we got the cucumber mojito and punch colada, which were both great. For hookah we got the blueberry mint and it was very smooth and high quality. Everything was great, Thought the music could have been better but we did go early in the night. We were there from about 6-9pm would come back though!
I’ve been coming to this place for years, and it never disappoints. During the week, it’s definitely a lot more relaxed, but always still a fun time to be had. Weekend nights are always crazy. Amazing music! Hookah, drinks, and service are all great. I personally love the sujuk appetizer. My go to hookah is watermelon mint. Drinks…… everything. Owner and staff are fun and attentive. They always make sure you’re having a good time. I recently had a mini after party at Deja Vu for a birthday. Everything was perfect.
Sports bar with 40+ TVs offering elevated pub grub, a solid beer selection & weekend breakfast.
A true sports bar. True to the old school sports bar where the wings and food are awesome and the beers flow! Harry, is the best!! His staff is wonderful. Everyone always with a smile and actually glad to see you visit their establishment. I can’t even count how many TV’s there are playing everything, all sports all the time. It’s so cool!!!
The food is delicious, with well-balanced flavors and fair portions. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for hanging out with friends, having a beer, and enjoying without any rush. The service was attentive and efficient, which made the experience even better. A great spot to unwind and have a good time.
The Atmosphere was beautiful, the music were a vibe. But it sad to say that me and my party waited over an hour just to get our order taken. We did bottle service and they kept saying the liquor on the premium section was an up-charge when we were getting two premium bottle package ! We were sat at 6:30 and didn’t receive our food or bottles until 8:40 and when I told the manger my concerns he told us he will give us complimentary shots in which he didn’t give us! 2/5 I would recommend going to another brunch spot with more accommodating servers/mangers !!
I enjoyed brunch on 4/5/25 and it was amazing I really enjoyed the The pasta and French toast the atmosphere was great. I enjoyed the waitress. She made sure my partner had her bottomless drinks. I was trying to get A to go play today and they’re closed on Sunday so sad.
