A fantastic crew of friendly bartenders who are excellent at their craft. They always have a variety of tasty beers and cider on tap (note “variety” not just 10 IPAs that all taste the same) and a good selection of liquors and cocktails that are mixed with precision. I never go to Ithaca without stopping at The Bike Bar
Bike bar is a great addition to downtown and nice to see the expansion. The menu is simple and more geared towards cocktails than lots of beer options. The service was inconsistent. One bartender was friendly and nice and another was curt. They have 2 snack options but we did not get any.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at bike bar. The staff displayed clear racial bias and treated me with unnecessary rudeness and disrespect. I was ignored, spoken to with attitude, and made to feel completely unwelcome. No one should be subjected to such behavior, especially in a public space meant for hospitality. I hope the management takes this seriously and addresses the lack of professionalism and inclusivity.
What a rad setup. Not much better than grabbing a good beer and a good bourbon (Weller, Eagle Rare, Buf Trace, all reasonable) while watching Crankworx. Split space with Old Goat, loads of vintage gear, staff obviously rides, great seating.
Awesome place to grab a drink or two by restaurant row! Super cozy, awesome tap/wine/liquor selection, and a super friendly staff! Great for a group or if you just want to wrap up work alone with a pint or two!
