Owner was super warm and friendly. Very open to feedback. The food was a mix. The fried calamari was great. Just the right amount of crunchy and chewy. The salad had just the right amount of dressing on it. The flavor of the slow cooked short rib was perfect but the meat was not as tender as expected. The lobster guacamole was not what we expected either and not sure how we felt about it. Was thinking maybe there would be lobster in the guac itself but was basically separate, which seemed a weird pairing. Drinks were phenomenal (and complex!). We will definitely be back to try different dishes.
✨ A Hidden Gem in Queens! ✨ This spot is pure elegance and truly a hidden treasure. The bartenders take their craft seriously and even showcase the art of cocktail-making right in front of you—it feels like a performance. I love that the drinks are made with top-quality ingredients, because unlike other places where I’d wake up with a hangover, here I wake up feeling perfectly fine. The food is just as incredible—the lobster avocado chips are to die for, and the meatballs are another favorite. The prices are absolutely worth it for the quality and experience. I honestly can’t wait to go back 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Alberto M. was our server and he was so great! We got the gold brunch pre-fixe package and our server was on top of it. He gave us pitchers for our bottomless drinks and refills before we were even done! The servings were really good sizes and the food was tasty. Some of the favorites were the fish and chips, chicken sandwich, and Shrimp Mac and cheese. All of the drinks were good and strong! DJ was a vibe too.
Gary made our dining experience unforgettable! Very attentive without hovering, genuinely warm, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Every recommendation he gave was spot-on, the pacing of our meal was perfect, and he made us feel like the only table in the room. Restaurants can have great food, but it’s people like Gary who turn dinner into a memory worth coming back for.
Brick- & wood-lined space offering cafe bites, charcuterie & cocktails along with live bands & DJs.
Stylish warm cocktail bar with indoor/outdoor seating. I’m staying in a hotel nearby and this place is my go to in the late evening. The cocktails are inventive and the food is fantastic. Loved the Daniele tartine and the charcuterie board with some pretty amazing meat/cheese options. Favorite cocktail is Night Bazaar. By far the best food I’ve had in the immediate area… great vibe (leaning toward hipster, but not annoying) - good people watching lol.
If you're looking for a clean, cozy spot near the train stations (QUEENS PLAZA) to grab a quick bite and a drink, GO HERE! The after-work crowd gives it a relaxed, social energy without being too loud or crowded. Shoutout to William, our server. Super helpful and knew the menu like the back of his hand. The starters were especially on point. They have sandwich selection too. Perfect for quick snacks or casual meetup. Whether you're winding down after a long day or just passing through the area, The Beast Next Door is worth a stop!
Classic & newly invented craft cocktails served with hand-cut ice in a dark, throwback-style space.
One of the absolute best cocktail bars in the LIC area. They have a great selection of cocktail choices and even offer a bartenders choice option if you’re looking for something off menu. They have lots of space at the bar, in some booths for bigger parties, and also an upstairs area. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.
I visited Dutch Kills for some evening cocktails during my trip to NY and had a great experience! The low light atmosphere this place gives off great vibes with a full bar to make pretty much any cocktail you could ask for. Dutch Kills makes a mean Old Fashioned that went down so easy. If I ever find myself back in this part of the city for travel, I’d definitely be back!
Neighborhood barroom offering sandwiches, small plates & weekend brunch plus a back garden.
The food was tasty but the real five-star experience is the service. Aaron went out of his way to make us feel welcome, he was super friendly and very attentive. Just based off of that, we will definitely be back soon! The location and atmosphere was lovely as well. Highly recommend for brunch or to have a few drinks(:
Snacks are better than the drinks. Nice backyard. Service was on point. The house margarita has room for improvement. I would totally come back for brunch tho. This place has some character. That chicken BLT was quality. Thanks Dominie
Hip bar & eatery offering small plates, sandwiches & brunch, plus craft beers & cocktails.
Stopped by to grab a quick drink while in LIC. I got the Milady's Spritz which was really good even though they ran out of the rose prosecco. The bartender made sure I was fine with the replacement. He was really friendly and had a nice chat since the bar was a bit empty during that time. It's definitely a laid back chill type of bar if that's the vibe you want.
Paula’s awesome and we love her and her team ! And we love her bar ! My husband and I were planning a happy hour to celebrate our legal marriage and we picked Gantry Bar. And Paula exceeded our expectations!! She was so easy to work with to plan the event ! And she brought flowers too! Which we never asked for but it was so prettty. The food and drinks were delicious - everyone had a great time! we definitely recommend others to book their events at Gantry!
Wines, cocktails & burgers at a laid-back bar offering a comfy, retro vibe.
Super pleased with the service very fast and efficient. Loved the burgers Adele and Wanda, drinks are great as well. Definitely coming back to out for more burgers
This place is a must-visit for burger lovers! The burgers are not only delicious but also uniquely crafted with amazing flavors that set them apart from the usual. The fries were the perfect crispy companion, and the wide selection of drinks made the meal even better. The atmosphere is casual and inviting—great for a night out with friends or a relaxed date. To top it all off, the service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable!
Hip gathering spot for burgers, wings & other pub fare with lots of whiskey & proprietary beers.
Came here to try out the food with my partner! Burger was decent, wings were great! Drinks were solid! Service was on point and the bartender recommended a solid beer from their variety of drafts! Came here on karaoke night accidentally and loved to see the vibes!
Very good experience, not too packed, very clean, good food. The bathroom decorations are top tier. The rest of the place has a good vibe
Laid-back hangout whipping up finger foods, burgers & pizza, plus cocktails & happy-hour specials.
Cool aesthetics!! Loved the unique vibes. Came for a bottomless brunch and drinks were good. However , food was just ok but Would try again for an evening vibe. A great mention: Their captain crunch, churro dessert (photo attached) was soooo delicious!! worth the calories 😅🫶
I came here after finding this location on Instagram with “The Brunch Guy”. I must say that this place is amazing! The drinks are equally on point as the food and service! The ambiance was awesome and I want to make a special note to the following team members who made the visit truly pleasurable. From “Nancy” the bartender to both servers “Ally and Natalie”. They made the experience really enjoyable and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and seeing them all again! Definitely recommend the Sunday Brunch, but I’d honestly love to meet the chef / kitchen staff because they in conjunction with the awesome bartenders & servers really make this place come alive!! SCP highly recommend!!! Enjoy!!!
Brick-walled corner watering hole that offers plenty of beers on tap, long tables & backyard garden.
Caught a Knicks playoff game here — the energy was electric! Fun, loud crowd with serious team spirit, solid drinks, and a chill vibe. Great spot to watch a game without the frills. Definitely coming back for the next playoff run!
This place was so much fun! The bartenders were friendly and the live music was spectacular, if I remember correctly it was @freesambrown. We didn’t get there early enough for food so I can’t speak on that.
Casual lounge bar, night club & restaurant offering brunch & dinner menus, plus cocktails.
I got the chance to stop into this restaurant and lounge for lunch. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a dimly lit place where music was popping. I was served by Eddie, and he was nice. I ordered: Smokey old-fashioned Lemon Pepper Wings Steak Tacos Doha’s Burger Grilled Chicken I enjoyed the wings the most! That old fashioned was great also! All in all I had a good experience!
The staff went all the way to make our Bachelorette party a success! Food was delicious, ambience also good and the photo ups amazing for decoration purposes. Thanks Doha
Welcoming rooftop destination at the Vista LIC Hotel offering city views, a cocktail bar & dining.
Ambiance was amazing, food was great, and great service. Served was super kind. We went during sunset time and stayed until like 10PM. The city looked absolutely beautiful. Just the views themselves are worth it. Recommend to go during sunset-evening times. Food was also better than I expected. I got lamb chops and my boyfriend got steak. It was perfectly medium rare and well seasoned. Overall appetizer, entree, and dessert were great.
Amazing views, especially during the sunset. A but pricey, the drinks really rack up the bill. The lobster Mac and cheese was outstanding. Definitely worth coming here for the view itself. The tables are very close together because it’s on a small rooftop so expect to hear other peoples conversations.
Amazing views and amazing vibes from top to bottom. The service is impeccable. The cocktails are divine and Naty the manager is a Queen!!! The waiter, Ivan will is also so attentive and super friendly! Totally recommend coming here for a perfect evening in NYC 👌
First time visiting this location and honestly, it didn’t leave the impression I was hoping for especially since we had made reservations for the 4th of July. The drinks were overpriced: margarita was $25, and when I asked for water, they sold me a $10 bottle. Meanwhile, a Heineken was $10. The view was definitely the highlight absolutely beautiful. The DJ set was okay, but they repeated a lot of songs. Not sure I’d rush back, but I’m glad I experienced it once.
