The perfect dive bar with the perfect music. Kayo is definitely the best bartender and a great vibe. It’s worth the drive. $3.50 for a shit to twirl its and I will definitely be returning.
Snugs is the place to go. When the people who work at the other places in town get off work, Snugs is where they go. The community there is strong as hell. It's New Paltz's own "Cheers" bar. Friendliest people you'll ever meet.
This fantastic bar may scream "Dive", but it is definitely a place full of character and hospitality. Solid beer selection, busy jukebox, darts and a pool table- what else could you ask for? A cool eclectic place to hang out and meet a variety of individuals! Beer is reasonably-priced and people are awesome! Had a fun time chatting with people out on the back deck about life! It might be considered a "dive" but those places can yield some of the best nights ever!
