It stopped in with a friend to grab a drink and maybe get a quick bite to eat. They don't serve any food (I'm only assuming that because the bartender never approached us) so we left.
Empty as Fuq on a Thursday evening. 11:50pm and there's 3 people in the bar. decent service ofcourse, heard the food was good. and the atmosphere was paramount to entertaining
Friendly staff and regulars. Lots of space to have a party. Pool table, Dart Board, board games, lots of TVs, Back Yard, jukebox, karaoke nights, trivia nights. They don’t serve food there, but you can bring your own in, as long as you are buying drinks.
Great local neighborhood bar to unwind from work, watch a game, hang out, and/or meet new friends. They have a pool table, dart board, and board games for additional entertainment. Or if you want something livelier, they also have karaoke and trivia nights. The staff are all nice and friendly and the drink selection is huge. Non alcoholic options are also available. They sell some snacks behind the bar, but you’re allowed to bring food from outside or have food delivered as long as you buy drinks from the bar. And they open early at around noon so you can catch an early game or come in for a drink in peace.
Thumping, spacious Latin nightclub with dancing to DJs & live music, cocktails & theme nights.
I felt like it was very irresponsible for La boom to use a broken rope to separate general from VIP . Its for sure a liability, just be wary if you get VIP and coming into the bar area in General (if anything thats an opportunity to sue them, if you end up tripping) Besides that it was hard to obtain the bartenders attention. Come prepare with patient and all your senses on point to protect yourself from getting hurt here. Also a tip for whoever is reading this - it’s easy to go from general to vip from the bar side. Its my second time here (this also happened the first time I was here) where the entire right side of vip walked in slowly one by one and sat down to buy a beer- the staff was okay taking the orders. It could save you money, no need to buy vip section when you can just get in general and go through the bar side into the vip where you can purchase just beer no need for liquor to be bought. Just a tip for whoever reads this ☺️. (Included photos as proof)
The VIP section at La Boom definitely delivers on energy and vibe. Bottle service was smooth and the staff was attentive — made the whole night feel more exclusive and well taken care of. The crowd was lively, music was on point, and the VIP area gave us space to enjoy it all without being overcrowded. Only downside was the pricing — it’s on the higher end, but that’s expected for a NYC club. Still, if you’re going with a group and want a more elevated experience, it’s worth it. Great for birthdays or a night out when you’re looking to go all out.
