I’ve been in Woodlawn for 5 weeks now and I’ve been in Ned’s every day of the week it’s the best bar in Woodlawn

Zuppa is a Yonkers institution, and rightfully so. This was my first time dining here, and it instantly became one of my top Italian restaurants in all of Westchester. The space is stunning, warm, romantic, and elegant, with over 25 years of history behind it. You can feel that legacy the moment you walk in. I came with a friend and we shared a little bit of everything: • The burrata with pear carpaccio and honey drizzle was delicate and refreshing. • The duck sausage with grilled radicchio and orange cardamom glaze was one of the most flavorful bites I’ve had this year. • The signature pappardelle veal bolognese with mint lived up to the hype, fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced. • For mains, we tried the Nutella braised short rib, and the Atlantic salmon with artichokes and vino agrumato, both perfectly portioned and cooked beautifully. • We ended with panna cotta and zeppolini, followed by espresso and an espresso martini. Every dish was crafted with care and presented beautifully. Service was professional but never stiff, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The portion sizes were ideal: satisfying but not overwhelming. We left with no leftovers and no regrets. Zuppa nails the balance of classic Italian comfort with modern finesse. Highly recommend for a date night, special occasion, or just treating yourself to an elevated meal in Yonkers.

Upscale eatery with a fine-dining flare, but can be family friendly. The food was good, with some homemade pasta dishes, seafood, and steak options. Service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was a mix of family style and high-end bar, with a touch of romantic ambiance. Try the Panna Cota and the Pappardelle!

I would give this place more stars if it would let me. I travel for business and like to try as many places as possible on my trips, however I was hooked from day one and went back multiple times. Not only the staff but the regulars make you feel welcome in the establishment. It was very refreshing for a weary traveler. I have tried almost everything on the menu and have not had one bad thing. The Cornbeef Reuben is amazing with large slices of Cornbeef. I dare you to find a better pint of Guinness in the states. My only suggestion is bring cash. Although they do take cards, just like 90% of the places in the NYC area, a small surcharge is put on card purchases. If you're ever in Yonkers this place is a must

A very nice Irish bar and restaurant where friends can hang out, talk, and eat . I came in for corned beef, cabbage and carrots but they only have that on St Patty's Day so I had a delicious Rubem sandwich with fries, coleslaw and ketchup. Twenty minute wait. Reasonable prices (around $16 each)

Great service, great food ! Highly recommend for good friends or family dinning. Staff is very thoughtful and know how to take care of their customers. I would recommend this bar restaurant because it has a very welcoming atmosphere and it feels very intimate. Great for close friends get to reunions.

I stopped in out of curiosity one day and Mike, the owner, was working the bar. He was extremely pleasant. I've been going back and have never had a bad experience. The bar staff of ladies are amazingly attentive and accommodating. Best bar, best staff.

Local dive, don't expect anything more than that. Not bad though, pints were cold and the people were friendly. Parking can be a pain if you're not walking there.

I stopped by here looking for my favorite stock and found this place. The owner was extremely hospitable and introduced me to every person inside the establishment, not knowing it was the traveler he was being so kind to. If you’re looking for a new home and you want to be treated kindly and welcomed by a great group of fellas, this is the place. I think I’m going to rent a locker here just in case I’m in the area and need to sit back and relax for a while. This place and it’s patrons put a smile on my face. By the way, this place is well ventilated so you won’t go home smelling like a chimney.

Always a great time at central cigar lounge (especially when Lifestyle has events), very spacious and they have a nice cigar selection!

Amazing experience here! The food was so, so delicious and the service and atmosphere were splendid as well. The dessert in particular blew our minds!! It was great meeting Rory. We will certainly be coming back!

We reserved a table for five (2 children and 3 adults) this past Easter Sunday. Mary, who took my reservation, was also our maître d'. She was polite on the phone and in person. Our server was also polite. There was another gentleman on staff who checked on us while we were dining. The food was great (as has been the case on our previous visits). A nice selection of music was playing during our visit. Rory Dolan’s maintains the ambiance of an Irish establishment. We loved our experience.

It's been almost 2 years since I last been to Saints & Scholars, but it is still a great as it was then. The food and drinks are still amazing!!! The servers are always a delight. I will leave this review with just one more thing...Maple Bourbon Bacon!!!! Need I say more?

Tried this place out for the first time. The place was packed & we were able to get 2 seats at the bar. The inside was cozy and had a great vibe. Service was good. Drinks were excellent. Had the Mrs claus naughty martini and the porn star martini. The food was also excellent. We had the shrimp tacos and the short rib which was super tender. Only downside was that it was cash only.

This is what you'd expect from the bar name. Cozy joint with bar seats and a pool table in the rear. Tiny bathroom, friendly staff, good prices, great TVs. You can BYO food.

Just another bar in the area where locals come to chill. It’s great if you live nearby. The crowd when I visited was, well to put it lightly, amusing. Bartender was great though. And prices are even better. Wouldn’t really recommend this place unless you want to get sloshed on a budget.

Great neighborhood bar. We were looking for a place for a few drinks and to watch some baseball. Friendly bartender who poured a great drink for my wife and a nice selection of beers for me. Was able to bring food in from right across the street. Thankful for the friendly atmosphere. All the locals made us feel right at home.

It's been 25 years since I came to Nugent's. I was staying nearby, so had to visit. Had the best "craic" there. Really looking forward to going back some time. Wishing you continued success.

This place only serves drinks but you can bring your own food. We had a gathering with 25 people where they put us in our own private section. We had the event catered from whichever place we wanted. We later found out that they do have a grill if we wanted to have them cook hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, etc for a per person fee. There outside section only has largely distributed beers but the inside has a Yonkers brew and a Captain Lawrence. I didn't notice a large wine selection. The liquor was the standard stuff with the exception of some different Irish whiskey. I loved that there is both an inside area and outdoor garden. I'll definitely be back frequently.

Small inside dining area, so make reservations. They also have a beautiful outside dining area, and a small bar area. The food her is great, and portion are large. Great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or just your love for food. If you have not yet, this is a must go.

Not bad place is nice ambiance lovely. customer service with a smile.. very welcoming place. Will go back to sit on the patio once the weather is a Lil cooler bc the humidity is just too much for now.. I had spicy lobster with ribbon pasta not too bad needed more flavor. The mister had the hot honey pepperoni pizza which was smack!!! the pizza dough is so damn good. Highly recommend 100%

I loved this place, first of all because it is one of the very few places in Yonkers and even in New York that stays open until 4 AM since all the places close at 11 PM of course except for Friday and Saturday nights. You can have a great time in this place especially on Friday nights, where there is karaoke. Also, the food they serve is great, and their prices are really excellent. It is easy to get to and has an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy the atmosphere and smoke freely.

My husband & I waited for over 90 minutes for an order. Please note Seamless has excellent customer service. Obviously, too many orders or customers and lack of staff. You call and no one answers the phone? The owner Alice is very nice and great with parties. The food is delicious most of the time.

Katie’s Cottage is a hidden gem! We came here after searching for the best French onion soup—and Katie’s Cottage absolutely delivered. The soup was rich, cheesy, and comforting—exactly what we were hoping for. To top it off, we found the best wings since leaving Buffalo—crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The burger was also fantastic: juicy, topped with perfectly melted cheese, and served with crispy, golden fries. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and great portions. We’ll definitely be back—and bringing friends with us next time!

Friendly, welcoming personnels, well chosen relaxing playlist of songs on the background makes it homelike, cosy on a Sunday brunch. Love the small scones with butter that was served before the main menu. I had Savory Avocado Texas Toast and complimentary mimosa, was fulfilling and yummy. The best part of it for me was no one is rushing you to finish your meal, no one brings the bill as soon as you are do e with eating. Thank you for a chill afternoon @Katie’s Cottage🌻

Shot Out to this hidden gem and shot out to the owner Avian!! Grandma (from Brooklyn) wanted some soul food so since I now reside in the area, I've been wanting to try this spot.... I placed a large order for pick up... *Crab Bites, Fried Oysters and 3 Large Salmon Dinners, with yams, greens, and Mac n cheese. The portions were huge! And let me tell you, believe the hype!! Gigi APPROVED! She wasnt even talking just enjoying her food! 🥰 Food was BOMB! Avian and his family most definitely know what they are doing here. Now, Gigi gonna want a plate every time I go visit her. 🙏🏼❤️ Plus, I'm the type to travel for food and I agree this spot hits! From my familry to yours thank you again for the outstanding service and amazing food!!

Placed an order on grub hub and was extremely disappointed the lack of condiments and utensils. $90 down the drain and not even ketchup, tartar, lemons or napkins. Called in and only got an apology. The lack of accomodations lead me to believe it isn't any different if eating in. I hope they see this message and think about including these items. Do better.

Visited Aug 30, 2025. Order chicken Nachos and Korean chicken bbq and a few beers. We had also had a few friends who joined us as well and agreed with me. They had tacos and few drinks as well. The service was good but what was disturbing our waiter at the bar took our ordered but did not come over, except maybe twice. We had a number of waitresses come over to ask if we needed anything and were very kind and professional. Our first waiter was a male and not very attentive. We all sat at the bar. The atmosphere was a little dark but ok. We all left a good tip though the amount we left was not deserved. I have been here a few times and always enjoyed their food and services.

Had a play date in the area at Lego land and decided to have lunch here. We were NOT disappointed with our choice. Service was a bit slow in the beginning. We opted to sit outside as it was a beautiful day out. Staff were nice and friendly. Food was AMAZING ! Even something as simple as the pizza was a hit with both the kids and the adults. Their menu is extensive but not overwhelming and I love the way they break it down by various categories (forgot to take a pic). They even have a section specifically for those who want meals under 700 calories. I thought that was pretty dope. The pink dragonfruit margarita was so refreshing that we ordered another round to go. Yes, you can order a Togo drink. The ambience is quite relaxing mixed with the right amount of busyness. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

Best gay bar ever. Super warm and welcoming. The bartender Buffy was stripping on the bar while the owner Ronny was throwing singles in the air while the daughter or niece was dancing on the pool table. They had a nice meatloaf served that was delicious even after they dropped it on the floor. And I even left with a sloppy BJ. Going back this weekend👍🏼🍻

Your food & everything about your restaurant is perfect. I refuse to drive on Center St. any more to go there. This is unfortunate. It took me over 30 min to get there from the Faulkner Hosp. The back roads are terrible too. I wanted to go to your establishment with a couple of teachers of work. We could not even get on beyond Roche Bros. We all agreed to take our shopping elsewhere. Everyone where I work also agrees that this road is a big disaster for business on this steeet. The Mayor ruined a good thing for everybody.

A very quaint place for weddings birthday parties business meetings very clean very nice suites to choose from free breakfast everything your hungry self would want plenty of parking close to all highways. Ballrooms are beautiful gas stations about four available.But most of the best is The outstanding staff and the kind people at the desk. Bar as also available..drink wisely smile enjoy you stay or business meetings as well..peace VM

I had to wait over an hour to get a turkey sandwich, only to be told that I would have to wait since they had two large group parties and only one chef, I was leaving and the manger stepped up and assured me I would have my order in minutes, the sandwich was average and they gave me a piece of cheesecake for my troubles, honestly I would not go out of my way to eat here again.

Nice dining option in the Ridge Hill area that specializes in Latin fusion cuisine. The food was good on all counts and the service was prompt and attentive. I enjoyed the coconut shrimp appetizer very much as well as the Cuban sandwich. The drinks were well made and all in all, for what we got, it wasn’t too hard on my wallet. Would definitely revisit.

We had grilled Octopus for appetizer, it was delicious. We tried a couple different drinks, they were delicious and strong. The bartender made us a Hennycolada. It was great! Nice modern place, good music and great service.

This place was great. Came here with my wife, sister and her husband for some drinks and food and had a great time. The staff was friendly and the service was great. We got fish and chips. Wings. Mozzarella sticks. Curry chicken with fries and everything was delicious. This is a fun spot to chill and have drinks. The had a festival going on outside that we enjoyed. Would love to come back and try more dishes.

Be ready to eat if you come here, because the portions are pretty big. They have $4 mimosas during brunch hours, and their brunch menu has decent variety. I was able to make a reservation for a group of 20, for which they didn't require a deposit. We were very comfortable in the upstairs room. Prices are fair, and staff was very accommodating. Edit: Returned to Francey Brady's and liked it even more than the first time. They have some of the best popcorn shrimp I've ever tasted. Their BBQ pork quesadilla is delicious. The texture on the fish part of the fish and chips is perfect.

The portions of food are huge. I had leftovers for 2 days. The chicken was very good. They also make good drinks. It was such an enjoyable experience. I would definitely come back.

Had a real Irish brew. two actually. enjoy myself trivia night was tonight and the locals where here. athe host heckled me and I loved it. someone called me Brad Pitt but not a lady. either way epic place. 5/5. The corn beef and cabbage was way different than my west coast self had tried. the white gravy was not overly salty. but when eaten with the corned beef it paired perfectly. Holy moly I haven't even have the Shepard pie yet 😉 Sheoards pie was fire!!!!!!!!!!

This seems to be a hidden underground spot, I drove by twice and missed it. It's got good tables and a great rental rate. It does have food but only serves beer no mixed drinks.

The food was delicious. The staff took care of us and we were a table of 12 . All the food was delicious, fresh and presentation was beautiful. Mixed drinks were great too. The staff was attentive and personable as well. Music was also good. It was my sister and I, birthday. We took pictures, laughed, ate and had a great time. We were not rushed off either. I’ve seen Conley (Chicken) play pool, play darts and runs behind the bar and take care of customers. The way he attends to customers was great. That review about having only Guiness was BS he offered that and we drunk it. It’s your choice. Good job Chicken. I had a great time

Great Casino! My huband and I had alot of fun and enjoyed the live band! The only downfall to this place is that they took away the valet parking which is much needed in the Winter weather the shuttle buses are not enough. Please bring back Valet parking and not only for VIP/Gold members.

Nice bar overall. One of the girls that work there has Herpes. Doesn’t even warn you or anything. Seen that whole thing . Disgusting.

Girls looks good which is a shame, because this places only motive is to get every single dollar they can from you. Last strip club I went to had no cover and 15 dollar dances for a happy hour special. I had np dropping $300, $400 had a great time. My experience at this one: they charged my buddy an additional $40 at the door to get in because he had a temporary paper ID, then chased him around all night and asked for more, they told me im not changing $60 in 1’s you gotta come with $100, they told me you can’t get 1 corona you gotta get a bucket then overcharged me for a beer because I only grabbed 1. Is what it is, if you got disposable income and don’t care about the fact that they’re only goal is to gouge e you for every dollar you have, then hey, this is the spot for you.

$30 at door entry fee. Drinks are super expensive and there's no menu for them. $25 for a lap dance & the length of it is "one song". $35 for a hookah, which they will take away the second you get up to use the bathroom. Some of the girls are really pretty. I wound up spending a lot more on drinks than I had anticipated. If anyone is curious cause of the pandemic, no, the girls are not wearing masks... nor are the co-workers. And have heard some are vaccinated and some are not. I also didn't see any customers wearing a mask. My main complaint is, before closing, I gave a girl $25 for a lap dance. She said "yeah, I gotchu!" And never came back. There was definitely time for a lap dance. It was rude she took my money and left. If you're looking for a lap dance, definitely hand the money to the guy at the counter. The more people that come in, the more likely you are to wait awhile for a lap dance or not get one. I overall had a great time, just wish there were deals on the drinks and some of these ladies wouldn't take advantage. 💯💯

Service was good, our waitress was very nice and courteous also very knowledgeable of all menu items and specials, our food was cooked to perfection, my NY strip was cooked perfectly, we also had the loaded French fried and BBQ flatbread pizza, will definitely be back.

My table ordered both the BBQ/Thai wings and them things were slammin. The Crispy Chicken Sammich is banging. My girl said her bacon cheddar burger was delicious too. Drinks were def on point. Server is consistent and ensured we were good togo on every item. Just only wished they had more items on the menu for the 5th star. Would def revisit if I were to go back to Empire Casino. Renamed it “The Pub”
