Cool spot to unwind and relax. Great views of the city while enjoying a cocktail. Sit at the bar or your own little cabana area. On the 5th floor of the Marriott Hotel. Bartenders were friendly. Also has a pool behind the bar if you’re a guest staying at the hotel. Awesome place to stay of meet up for drinks with friends or coworkers. If you’re visiting charlotte I recommend checking this place out !

I didn’t have a reservation, but the host was still able to seat me—right around 5 p.m., just as the happy hour crowd was rolling in. Spoiler alert: the rooftop view overlooking the city is absolutely worth it, so I’d recommend making a reservation to secure your spot. Since this was just a stop before my dinner plans, I kept it light and ordered the spicy guacamole (and yes, it lives up to its name—spicy but so good!) along with the burnt end lollipops (smoked brisket). To sip, I went with a refreshing Charlotte mocktail. Another perk? During happy hour, all appetizers are $3 off, which makes it the perfect time to sample and share. What would have been this establishment a five star for me would have been attentiveness and hospitality.

My first time at Fairweather was an amazing one. First, our service staff was attentive and friendly. Second, all the cocktails for my table were high quality and tasted amazing. Third, the food…I don’t have a favorite because they all tasted amazing. If I had to pick one, I would say the mussels dish. The food elevated the cocktail experience. If you haven’t been to Fairweather yet, make your way. I have a feeling that it will get so busy with the cocktail enthusiasts who enjoy dining with cocktails, it will be hard to get tables. I hope to return soon to experience few more amazing cocktails and food to go with them.

The Ugly isn't ugly, it's quite beautiful. This is a neat bar near the tracks & Chamber by Wooden Robot. If you aren't looking for it, it's actually quite easy to miss. Inside, there's old time bar mirrors & decor which fit the bar perfectly. The bartenders are quick & do a solid job. There's option of different types of ugly cocktails but let's be honest, the $2 Narragansett is the best deal in Charlotte. The cocktails are affordable for Charlotte which gives them an edge over many other options nearby. I'd recommend coming down, getting a gansett & a shot, & enjoy your time chatting with the locals. PS: The Charlotte map on the wall is really neat.

Stopped by Conspiracy Tapas Bar around 6pm on a Friday — still early for dinner, so we were able to get a table right away with no wait. The place wasn’t too busy even when we left, making for a laid-back atmosphere. We ordered a good variety of small plates to share. Everything was solid — nothing mind-blowing, but no complaints either. The Cuban was definitely a standout among the dishes we tried. Drinks were good and complemented the meal well. Overall, it’s a nice spot for something quick, casual, and sharable. Great for low-key outings when you want decent bites and a relaxed vibe.

Kelly Rog56 months ago

Such a cozy spot with amazing food! The turkey meatballs were a standout- perfectly glazed, generously portioned, and made with turkey for a healthier twist, which we really appreciated. We also tried the trio plate featuring a crab cake, short rib, and shrimp scampi. The crab cake was flavorful, though not made with lump crab. The short rib was tender and came with two nicely sized pieces. The cauliflower lettuce wraps were a fun, hands-on option with bold, delicious seasoning, definitely a hit at our table. To top it all off, we shared the dessert trio, and everything was delicious. Surprisingly, the apple turnovers ended up being my favorite! We love this place and think it offers great value. Most dishes are around $15, with the exception of the trio plate, which includes more food so is priced a bit higher. Two plates per person is a good sweet spot, making it a reasonably priced option considering the upscale atmosphere and quality of the food. Of course, adding drinks or dessert (which we recommend!), will bring the total up a bit, but def worth it.

The Thirsty Beaver is... officially one of my favorite bars that I've ever been to! The inside of the bar was so cool, it was like a 1940s combination of a diner and bar. They had so much cool memorabilia, from the pool tables, neon signs, chairs & tables, posters, jukebox, hand games, etc. The bartender and other patrons were so cool, welcoming, and easy to talk to as well. I had such a fun time talking to them for a few hours. Overall, as previously stated, Thirsty Beaver is one of my favorite bars that I've ever been to, and it almost makes me wish I lived in Charlotte so I could go more often. I can't recommend it highly enough!

I don’t live in Charlotte, but when I stumbled upon a post about the Thirsty Beaver on Facebook, I was instantly intrigued. The history of this bar is so compelling that I thought, “I need to visit this place ASAP!” As soon as I had the chance to come to Charlotte, I made a beeline for the Thirsty Beaver, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! If you haven’t been yet, what are you waiting for? You need to visit it, period.

My recent visit for a late lunch proved to be an exceptional culinary experience. Dustin, who served me, provided outstanding service. The meal included duck fat pretzels with Cajun queso, and pickled deviled eggs with bacon and habanero pepper jam, both of which I found to be particularly well-executed and flavorful. Additionally, the smoked turkey club, notable for the textural contribution of its sprouts, was quite enjoyable. The establishment certainly presents itself as a noteworthy, albeit understated, culinary find.

Stopped in Sunday at 9am as we heard this was a place to watch Formula One and I was visiting my son at UNCC and we needed to good place to watch. The atmosphere was great, the local F1 fan group (where were heard about Dom's) was there and it was fun to be among other fans. The server and bartender were pleasant and very responsive and once they could legally serve me a beer, the did right after 10 am. Overall had a nice time there, exactly what we were hoping for. I hope Dom's does well.

Jenny was able to accommodate hosting an event at the last minute when my brother passed away. He spent a lot of time up there due to their atmosphere and it was wholeheartedly endearing to host his wake at their establishment. They were able to provide options either inside or outside, as well as tables and the necessary room for our PA system to be used. The staff and other patrons were all incredibly nice and supportive at an incredibly difficult time and I have nothing but the highest regards for this establishment.

The Loft at Duckworth’s is an all time favorite cocktail lounge! The atmosphere is mid-century and spot on decor. The music of the ‘crooners’ makes me smile and the service is top notch. The manager even stopped by our table to ensure everything was to our liking. The Loft will be our go to cocktail lounge in Charlotte. Well done!

Tipsy Pickle 4.7 (463)

Recent Reviews:

Jessie Carty53 months ago

This was my first visit to Camp North End and we decided to circle back to the Tipsy Pickle for some lunch after browsing the shops. Granted, there aren't a ton of shops and the maps are a little confusing, but still overall a good wander and vibe. We opted to just have lunch after our warm walk 🥵 and shared very reasonably priced wings and chips with salsa. We loved being able to scan the menu to order and cash out our tab later. Both items came out very quickly, although no one offered us any plates and we were only provided a few napkins. We opted for a coke and an unsweetened Arnold Palmer palmer to drink, which arrived first. I should have asked about the tea used for the Arnold Palmer as it may have had artificial sweeteners which I'm not a huge fan of personally. We enjoyed hanging out and would love to come back to play some pool or maybe even try out playing pickle ball itself. There are also some arcade machines scattered about and lots of varied seating indoors and out. Cons: the music was very loud and no one asked us if we needed anything once they left the food. That being said, we'd definitely like to come back. I loved seeing a diverse clientele.

Brad Kosar55 months ago

Great spot to play pickleball and enjoy a drink. Camp Northend is a fun atmosphere, and you won't be disappointed with the ambiance. Excellent spot for a date or group outing; it's a huge space, so it never felt crowded. The food menu looked good, and the drink menu had quite a few offerings. There are pickleball courts both inside and out. Parking can be tight on the weekends, but there is an overflow lot a block east; be sure to lock your car doors. Overall, it was a great alternative to your standard bar or brewery, and we really enjoyed our time. I look forward to returning.

This is one of the coolest bars I've been to. When we walked in we were immediately seated then greeted with water. The server then explains how it works and you tell them exactly what you like. What flavors or liquors and they make a drink based off that. All of our drink were soooo good and we will be back.

Taylor45 months ago

The atmosphere mimics a prohibition era but with a new twist! You can be casual or dress up and you’ll still feel IN PLACE. You don’t order a drink. You tell them what you like and the bartenders make a craft cocktail. It’s a cool concept. However, one of my friends didn’t like his second drink. It was almost like the bartender made the same drinks each time for each person with just a different syrup flavor. We were looking for something completely different each time! Now, for me, I loved my first drink and ordered the exact one again! 🩷

Incredible! My husband and I stopped by one Saturday for cocktails before our fancy dinner reservations in the neighborhood. Sneak was the highlight of our evening by far! The owner was behind the bar and made the experience so personal. He was genuinely interested in our preferences and making recommendations that we would love but may also push us outside of our comfort zones. It’s clear he loves what he does and is super knowledgeable about spirits and his craft. The jams were awesome and had us dancing in our seats. The setting is intimate and cozy. Sneak is absolutely an unexpected gem- can’t wait to go back!

SneakCLT has been on my radar 📡 for a while, and it was worthy of the trek. The bartenders are incredibly welcoming—genuinely pouring heart and soul into every cocktail 🍸 . I went with a Vesper and a Kangaroo 🦘(loaded with extra blue cheese olives 🫒 ) and both were exquisite—unexpected spirits, expertly balanced. Tucked in the corner of a plaza, it’s easy to miss, but parking’s pretty solid 🅿️. No full menu, just snacks—but the ice cream sandwich? Ridiculously good—I almost doubled up. Check it out next time you’re in the area.

We came yesterday to celebrate our anniversary! The atmosphere was good! The food was awesome! Our waitress was absolutely amazing! I can't recall her name but it was the black waitress who made our experience flawless!! the mango crumble needed a lil love to it though.

Crestin Green54 months ago

My recent visit to Crunkleton was an absolute pleasure, offering a fantastic blend of sophisticated ambiance, delicious food, and exceptional service. We kicked off the afternoon with some fantastic cocktails. My Pain Killer was a tropical delight, perfectly balanced, and my Mai Tai was a strong, well-crafted classic – definitely more on the potent side than overtly sweet, which I would have preferred. Our server, Hannah, was truly a standout. She was not only incredibly informative about the menu but also genuinely interested in our food allergies, making us feel completely at ease. Beyond her excellent service, we were particularly impressed to learn about Crunkleton's membership program, which offers tastings and priority services for $20 a month. Even more commendable, a portion of the proceeds goes towards a fundraiser for an employee battling cancer, a truly great deed that speaks volumes about the establishment's values. The ambiance at Crunkleton is a highlight, best described as a very "whisky cigar lounge" meets a "bougie casual experience." It strikes a perfect balance, feeling both luxurious and comfortable, ideal for a relaxed yet refined evening out. For our entrees, my wife enjoyed the spicy chicken breakfast sandwich. It was a flavorful and satisfying choice, with just the right kick. I opted for the Charlotte Hot Brown, a local take on the classic. It was a rich and comforting dish, truly a hearty and delicious meal. The only minor misstep was the salad, which was a bit too fresh, tasting as if the leaves had just been picked and washed. While freshness is usually a plus, in this case, it felt a little too raw, perhaps lacking a bit of dressing or seasoning to truly shine. Overall, Crunkleton delivers a memorable dining experience. From the expertly crafted cocktails and inventive dishes to the exceptional service and inviting atmosphere, it's a place I would highly recommend for a date night, a special occasion, or simply a sophisticated yet relaxed afternoon with friends. We'll definitely be returning!

Went to Members Only Tasting Room & Social on a Monday night. It was dead but I get it. The space is super cute and they have hookah and they have a really good cocktail and liquor menu. Their beer and wine selection isn’t so great but I get that. I got a cocktail and it was very good. My only complaint is that they add 20% gratuity to the bill (which I’m fine with) and our server didn’t mention that and almost got double tipped if I didn’t see it on the menu. Will definitely go back.

I was cool with the spot but once they started doing pay to play for karaoke, it kind hurt my feelings. I used to go there an the d.J's would never budge on pay to skip the line. If you don't have a passion for the craft, don't do the job, you never know what, that one karaoke song, some shy person who normally doesn't sing karaoke or is not outgoing, that's their platform to let loose You don't know that you could literally save somebody's life by letting them do that. One karaoke song. If it's your standard to let people skip the line let it be known from the front. If that's the regular practice, let it be known. It's no different for me. If you do automatic gratuity at establishment. To see multiple people get skipped that have came before the other people signed up on the sheet and waited patiently to sing their song to only get pushed to the side by somebody who has more money than them is kind of sucks. Everybody doesn't necessarily have the budget to spend the extra money or spend extra money on drinks.Or what have you just to wait around to sing their song. They really don't have food as far as I know of it's privately owned, so i'm sure nobody really cares. But I just had to make a review because of my experience there today.Nobody.I have a great time and I see a lot of people that I know i'm not trying to cause a strife, but at the end of the day, if that's how you guys play just be honest. And don't have people sitting around waiting, hoping to sing their song or participate is something that they usually wouldn't do. They don't have food that I know of it's probably old.So nobody probably really cares about my post.I just had to make a review of my recent experience at this establishment.

2/2/24 - Another great time with the great folks at Snug! Snug Harbor is a unique venue in Plaza Midwood area. We were seeing a show and a friend advised, knowing I'm disabled, that I contact them ahead of time to ask about accommodation. They were amazing. Day of, they knew me as soon as I gave my name. Made sure I was OK. It really makes going to a show so much different when you are treated well. Thank you. Plus, the indoor room is not the only attraction. In back there was a DJ and bar. Out front there are picnic tables. The interior is decorated with lots of unique, fun, almost reminiscent of my goth club days. Huge Props and I look forward to the next show here.

Between this bar and the bar next door I sat there for 2 hours and literally watched several people come in and out high on drugs. This entire alleyway has went downhill. Between the homelessness the drug use and open sale and violence. The city needs to shut it all down and start from scratch.

Phenomenal service and food! The truffle fries were mind blowing and the short ribs melted in our mouths. Also highly recommend the cheesecake for dessert— it’s on the softer side but absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was a bit dark and louder than expected, but the experience was still fantastic.

Popped in real quick just to make time waiting for a friend. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night when I went around 9:30pm and still plenty of seats to choose from. The bartender was nice and efficient. Nice ambiance. Right on the corner of Graham St. So if you do live around here, super easy accessibility. Wouldn't mind popping up again and staying longer. Very chill spot. I didn't try their food. I did get a glass of sparkling wine. This is in uptown, so parking is an issue on a busy weekend night, but of course, side street parking and parking lots around the place.

I had a great experience. It was a bit chill in the beginning from like 10pm-12:30am. Then it got really lit from 12:30-1:45 when I left. This was my first time going so it was an experience ✨. I will say if you are claustrophobic, and don’t like people surrounding you or have epilepsy … find something else. There was a lot of people close to me at all times walking through you and finding the tiniest gap. Also while people are dancing they may hit you but if you can understand the atmosphere and what comes with going to clubs like this it’s great. The smoke and confetti was top notch and I had such a great time.

Went here for the first time recently with some friends and we all had a great time! Everyone working at the bar was super cool and nice. The dance floor was nice and roomy with plenty of VIP areas around. The music itself along with the different DJ's were all fantastic and had some killer mixes. For the $5 cover to get in, it was totally worth it. My one gripe would be the drink prices, but it's also the price you pay for night life.

I attended this place to watch the Panthers viewing party. Which while spending over 3 hours no asked me if I wanted to ordered something to drink. As far as the food menu they only had 4 items on the menu. Now if you have dogs and you like to drink beer then absolutely the Two Buck Saloon is a great place to go to. But if you are looking to attend a sports bar with great food items to choose, from with plenty of waitress and not self server sports bar then unfortunately the Two Buck Saloon is not the place for you.

Enjoyed Lucky Lou’s Tavern in Charlotte, North Carolina! My friend recommended it to me a while ago and finally got to try it. She said it was one of the best burgers she’s ever had, and I totally agree! We shared the pimento burger that came with fries! The burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned really well! The bacon on there was crispy and not greasy. The fries were really crispy and not too salty! The ambience was pretty cool! They had a few sports video games and two pool tables! The bathroom was super clean! The staff were very, very friendly and the bartender Andrew was very quick and accommodating! They had tons of drink specials and a lot of beer, wine and cocktails. Will absolutely go back and try other things!!

Lucky Lousy Tavern is hands down one of my go-to spots in Charlotte! I always come here for drinks, wings, and football, and they never disappoint. The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, the staff takes great care of you, and the food is consistently on point. The wings are some of the best around, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Pair that with a cold drink and a game on the big screens, and you can’t ask for a better experience. Whether it’s game day or just a casual night out, Lucky Lousy Tavern always delivers. The Lodge reminds you of a bar the locals know about cause it's hidden in a small strip mall. The tables are wooden with a couple of booths but mainly tables. There are also seats at the bar which is fully stocked. Also, there are TVs so you'll never have a bad seat if you are there to watch a game. There is a WFNZ sports radio sign over the door. The service was great! The waiter kept my glass full of water and checked to see if I needed anything. There are daily food specials for a very reasonable price. I had the Thursday special which is ribs and 2 sides. The ribs had black pepper, salt, and paprika dry rub topped with bbq sauce. The ribs were cooked perfectly! The meat fell right off the bone and tasted amazing 👏The sides were as delicious as the ribs. I have to give a special shout-out to the bartender. He greeted me at the door, seated me, and took my order. He talked to all the guests and even knew some of their orders because they were regulars. He made everyone feel at home at The Lodge. If you're passing by Colony Place stop in and pull up to the The Lodge. The food, the service, and the atmosphere are great!

We had a disappointing experience at this tavern. The food was just okay — flavorless and dry — though the pricing was reasonable. We sat outside, but unfortunately, a cockroach crawled onto our table while we were eating, which made us leave immediately. Service was lacking as well; we had to go up to the bar ourselves to collect menus and call for the waitress in order to place an order. Because of these issues, I would not recommend this place.

They're food is cost efficient and it's really good..most of the time I get chicken tenders and fries or the philly...the price of their drinks aren't bad either. There is so much to do here..they have 2 bars inside and outside. You can order food and drinks at both...awesome patio with booths or table and chairs. You can play ping pong, corn hole or pool. Stopped by the Canopy bar Friday afternoon during my walk on the Rail Trail. This was my first time at this bar, we chose to stop here because they were playing 2000's R&B music which was calling out to us. As we walked in we were greeted by a lovely hostess who sat us down outside at the bar. The bartenders were so cool, they are really the reason why our experience was very great! It was my dad's birthday so they gave us a complimentary first drink. The St Germain Margarita was so delicious I had to get it a second time, my dad tried the WU-TANG CRAN! It was very delicious - the black pepper and habanero rim gave the drink a sweet and spicy taste. I highly recommend visiting this bar on a Friday or Saturday evening - that's when the crowd comes in and the music is very is turned up louder. The parking in the area is mainly paid parking so prepare to pay, there are also parking garages around the East/West Blvd rail station. Park Mobile app is very easy and convenient for paid parking in SouthEnd. Cheers!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely, professional woman (Ashley)…she was so sweet, made us feel right at home with her smile and kindness. She showed us to our table, and was quick to get us situated and get drinks on order. Thing is about Sharon’s Lounge, it’s not a full restaurant, but has exquisite small bites…and most importantly, you feel like you are at home with a personal assistant getting you exactly what you want. I would give the atmosphere a perfect 10, gotta check it out to understand the sense of home that you feel, the service was another perfect 10; couldn’t ask for anything else. The food we ordered was also very good. Portions were in order, quality of the cheese, meats, fish were all perfectly fresh. Look at the pictures, judge for yourself. Also, if you didn’t want to park, they also offered a valet service which was perfect as well.

I had my 60th Birthday 🎊 🎉🎁 celebration in a private room, the Library Lounge, amazing is an understatement; it was just FABULOUS!!! The decor was top tier; a big shout out to Kyle. Kyle’s gifts and talents are unmatched. When I say it Wowed me, it left me speechless. From the planner, Marissa, who walked me through the process, step by step, to the bar tender, Kelly, and the rest of the staff that were so personable, attentive, and welcoming. My guest was very pleased. About the food…it was scrumptiously delicious! The Chef did a fantastic job. I had the Southern Journey, Buffett style. The deserts, key lime pie and the chocolate layered, toffee cake was a dream. I stayed at the Ivey hotel for the night in the Executive Suite; just Wow!!! It was exquisite, a weekend to remember. From the time I walked through the hotel doors to confirm my stay, the staff was like no other. Let me not forget the gentleman who was in charge of Valet Parking, he was so very charming and welcoming. A big thank you to Christy for escorting us to the Library Lounge for my celebration, I just loved her attentiveness and bubbly personality. I highly recommend this establishment. A night to remember! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 💕💕💕 Yvette

Attended a 2000's Limewire party and was impressed by how spacious the place was inside. Arrived around 9:30pm & there was no line at all. Walked right on in, went through security, got checked in and the vibes were on. There is a bar to the right of venue. The dance floor is right in the middle of the space with what looked like VIP seating on the sides. Bathrooms are all the way in the back though so you do have to maneuver your way through the crowd in order to get to them. They have an outside patio with tables in case you need to smoke or just get out of the craziness. Overall pretty impressed with the efficiency of all the workers and the place was very clean. No food sold here only drinks. This is located right beside the Fillmore in NC Music Favtory. They have street parking and a parking garage as well. Great experience and wouldn't mind coming back for another event here.

The bar staff and overall service are commendable. While the wings are enjoyable, the tenders are considered superior. This venue is highly recommended.

This place is a vibe! The ambiance is elegant yet comfortable. Lots of seating, either at the bar, high top, low seats or vip, there are plenty of options. All of which are within perfecting viewing of the large monitors that display several sporting events to appease everyone’s sport of choice. There’s also music playing and a DJ that comes and spins after 9pm on select nights. For drinks, I like to get the bottle of prosecco. It’s not too brut, not too sweet. Perfect for if you know you’re going to want at least 2 glasses. The food, phenomenal! My favs are the spinach dip, tater tots, funnel cake fries, and the meat on the tacos (which is also the same meat on the philly cheesesteak) it’s super flavorful and juicy! This bar is a must visit. Our host Angel was hilarious and attentive, he made sure we had everything we needed.

I had an amazing time at Onyx in Charlotte! From the moment I arrived, the experience was top-notch. Kriss, the manager at the door, was incredibly professional, welcoming, and made sure everything went smoothly. The atmosphere inside is stylish and vibrant, with great music and a fun crowd. The food was a pleasant surprise — not just “club food,” but genuinely delicious. Everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. It’s rare to find a place that combines a great nightlife vibe with such high-quality dining, but Onyx delivers on both. Whether you’re going for the nightlife, the food, or both, Onyx is a must-visit spot in Charlotte. I’ll definitely be back!

The ambiance of the restaurant is quite pleasant, and even the restrooms are well-maintained. I had the opportunity to meet Shelby and another gentleman whose name I did not catch. I am uncertain if I visited at the most opportune time, as the cook had left, and they were awaiting the arrival of a replacement, which may have led to some issues with my appetizer. This was my first visit, so I cannot be entirely sure. I ordered the Buffalo chicken dip, which consisted solely of buffalo sauce and shredded chicken, lacking any cream cheese or creamy flavor. The overall taste was overpowering and rather unappetizing. However, I appreciated that they brought me freshly made tortilla chips to replace the stale ones, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction under the circumstances. Additionally, I ordered the Wagyu burger with fries. The onion jam was exceptional, likely the best sauce I have ever encountered. The brioche bun was well-suited for the burger, as it did not become soggy despite the considerable amount of juice and sauce. The fries were also exquisite. Overall, I have no substantial complaints and commend the staff for maintaining their professionalism despite the challenges posed by the absent cook. While I typically prefer to try new items rather than reorder, I can only hope that the dip was a result of an atypical day in the kitchen.

Crave Dessert Bar is pure temptation in the best way possible. The second you walk in, the atmosphere wraps around you, setting the mood perfectly. The staff knows what they're doing—they were attentive without being intrusive, which I loved. But let's talk about the main event: that chocolate cake. It was absolutely sinful and worth every bite. Paired with a Chocolate Crack martini, it was a taste of heaven. It’s the kind of place that leaves you wanting more. A little heads-up: the bathrooms could use a little more love, but trust me, everything else is so good you won't even care.

First off the bouncers were super nice , the brunette bartender was nice as well , service was poor but she was nice , now the blonde…. Complained about my girlfriend not tipping on a $77 tab but we were coming back….. and did within 30 minutes with more money to tip. I feel that she was very rude and entitled and this type of service should not be in this bar.

Anthony (ASM) got physical with a member of my group for calling him out on cutting in line multiple times for the pool tables. I had to pull his hands off said friend and step between. Upon realizing he’s outnumbered he went to the bouncers to kick out said friend. I asked Anthony if there’s a learning moment here I’d like to hear it. He got in my face. I said, “You don’t seem like a rational person.” Anthony said, “I’M NOT! I’M NOT! I’M NOT!” My friend has never been kicked out of anywhere. I hope Anthony gets the help he needs - it doesn’t seem like management is it.

ATTENTION DELIVERY PERSONNEL This establishment practices tip bating. or this was my experience when shopping for them! The order had been sitting for awhile, it was very late but I managed to make it to the store prior to closing. I selected the items carefully making sure none of the items were spoiled or blemished. Upon delivery, the bouncer help me locate the person who ordered or similar which took more time than anticipated, but found him. Later I noticed the tip amount went from $6 to $2. Contacted support for further assistance and they shared no complaints for the items, nothing noted. Although customers have every right to change the tip, I didn’t understand why the drastic change. Had I known up front, I would not have accepted and delivered due to compensation of time, extra effort, etc didn’t align with payment.

Went to Duckworth’s tonight after several locals told me it was a good place to eat. I sat at the bar (with more TV screens in one room then I think I’ve ever seen, but they were, oddly, not in the least distracting), and ordered a local Charlotte beer (Better Days Pale Ale- delicious, floral, aromatic and crisp). The staff were wonderful. They were all incredibly attentive, polite, never hovering, but always checked in. They served me quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I was impressed with their overall attitude, attention, and friendliness. For food I ordered an 8oz center cut sirloin, med-rare. The entrees come with two sides and garlic bread, so I chose tater tots, and a salad with ranch dressing. The side salad was fresh, cold and crisp. It included red onion slices, which I love. The dressing was very good - a classic, thick and flavorful ranch (not the watery, thin and light flavor kind that some places have). The tater tots were absolutely fantastic. Golden crispy outside, and soft, almost melt in your mouth inside. They didn’t taste like they were previously frozen, and tasted fresh and delicious. I could have eaten those all night. The steak, however, was disappointing. The cut of meat was good quality, and the char-grilled style was smoky and flavorful. It was perfectly seasoned. But it wasn’t cooked properly and was totally dry. Now, having grilled steaks and a substantial amount of meat in my life, I know that grilled meats are tricky. They are hard to get right and easy to mess up. A second too long and it’s dry as cardboard. It wasn’t that bad, but as I ordered medium rare, I felt I should have ordered rare instead. The one saving grace to the meat was that it was served with a finger-licking BBQ sauce that I thought was excellent. Not too smoky, not too sweet, not too savory. Truly fantastic BBQ sauce. Overall, I had a nice time by myself, and enjoyed the experience. Next time, I’ll order the Carolina BBQ Plate and will probably rave about it.

I hosted my best friend’s bridal shower in the private single barrel room at Whiskey Warehouse this weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. I think every person that came in complimented how cute the room is, making it easy to create a beautiful event atmosphere when additional decor needed was minimal. Mark (GM) and Mack (bartender) both outdid themselves. They were so helpful in making sure everything ran smoothly and all of my expectations were met. Mack was so sweet and funny, our guests loved her! So many compliments on the food and drinks from everyone as well. There’s nothing on the menu you could order that wouldn’t be delicious. This place is a hidden gem, somehow they haven’t been getting many event inquiries yet which is astonishing. If you’re looking for a place to host an event, do it here! You’ll be in great hands. Order from here routinely, today the Greek salad was supposed to have cucumbers and no artichokes. No cucumbers plus artichokes on a soggy bed of lettuce. All that was in there was lettuce, purple onions and feta. They tape the boxes shut on their pizza so it's a cold soggy mess once it's delivered. It was a quiet Saturday evening on the rooftop. Everyone visibly was there to relax. My drink was good and the view nice. My only critique is that the machine systems on the rooftop, maybe the ac or heating, was a little loud and constricts the mood. They cover it with a greenery surrounding to block it from view. The location is also a little further from uptown. Overall, still nice to check out.

Friday night was a nice vibe. The roof top was cool and the DJ was playing good music all night. I’m not really into the new club scene being heavily influenced by “section culture” because it makes the experience extremely anti-social. I miss when clubs were for socializing and dancing and not just smoking hookah and paying for a section to buy overpriced bottles of liquor. Anyways, I enjoyed my time here because I know how to fun. Not because the club knew how to host.

Stopped by here on a whim when we were walking by the hotel on a Tuesday evening. There was an event going on at the time so the outside seating was more limited but still enough seating. As it was hot out we preferred to sit in and enjoyed a cocktail. The drink was good but it is pricier here, like $18-$20. It’s nice but to sit outside and actually appreciate the view I would have to wait for a cooler day and/or when the patio area is not reserved to see what it’s like there.

Went in on a Saturday night for friends birthday celebration. All staff members including security were very polite and accommodating. I was able to make my way in to the establishment with my knee mobility scooter no problem at all. The vibes were great, with a DJ performing catchy unique beats. There is no dress code here which is nice especially when you are just venturing around the charlotte area looking for something to do. There are both open seating and reserved areas all with wonderful views of the city. After looking around for a few minutes for somewhere to sit, a staff member spotted us, kindly explained how the seating areas worked and guided us towards some open seating areas. Although a bit crowded, I had no issues making my way throughout the area with my mobility scooter. Our party of 3 was able to find a lovely open seating area at a cozy tabletop fire pit. The cocktails we ordered were beautifully crafted with fresh ingredients & candied cherries for a garnish. Perfect location if you are looking for an upscale yet casual friendly date night or somewhere to decompress with family and friends. Added to my list of places to drop in again whenever Im back in the area.

What a cute place but the service was not what I expected. I sat at the bar and it took a while for anyone to greet me. I was then handed a clipboard with like 6+ pages of taps and drinks. Some of the pages were exactly the same. I had to ask for a food menu. Not one person checked on me during my visit. I had to ask one of the bartenders to order me dessert. Food was tasty and would have given the place better stars if service was better. Seemed to be a good spot for locals as they seemed to have all the bartenders attention.

We finally got a chance to stop by before her headed to the stadium and we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We tried the nachos and lemon pepper wings and mambo sauce wings. EVERYTHING was great. These were definitely some of the best wings I’ve had. Perfectly seasons and cooked. The staff was friendly and helpful also w/ questions we had outside the menu. The nachos were also a favorite for my little humans. We’ll definitely come back to try more menu items.

Ok, as always, please go try for yourself just because your taste buds may be different! However, I got the strawberry hot wings, with blue cheese, and chips & salsa. We sat outside which the establishment is right next to the baseball field-so you can catch fireworks which was nice. Served took a while to check on us and the original one left work at some point during our dinner. Wings- barely spicy and was told it doesn’t get hotter with anything in the establishment. For someone who likes spicy, I feel like it was a mild Texas Pete. Perhaps try another flavor. Blue cheese- was very cream tasting, couldn’t taste blue cheese at all and very few crumbles seen Salsa & chips- don’t order them at all. Store bought South of the Border salsa in the jar & tortilla chips are way better. (Friend had fries and they were good!) Drink- I had the blueberry lemon drop(2 or 3) not strong but super good!!!

Please make Marcus a bartender. I spoke with him very briefly and he gave me a tour of the outside patio and the upstairs area. He noticed me sitting at the bar and decided to stop me and show me the other areas I had access to. This type of customer service should not be wasted on Janitorial Services. He should be in a position to provide this type of service to everyone. He needs a bigger role. He changed my entire experience. Thanks Marcus. I will be coming back because of you and your customer service.

Place itself is fine but the bouncers are ridiculous. Stole my ID on my 22nd birthday because “my reaction said it was fake”. The bottle girls go outside and try to sell you a bottle for a price and you get in for free but they will sit you way in the back. Then they still charged one of the guys a $10 cover charge. The bottle went from $175 outside to $325 all of a sudden trying to finesse us. That won't fly with us NYC dudes. We shut her down and negotiated the original deal. I been here 4 times but I don't think I'll go back. The worst thing The bottle girl did was make us drinks how ever she saw fit without asking👎👎that was it for me.

First time at the interesting venue. I was forced to pay an entrance fee to an empty venue, it's nice and pretty but a waste of time and money. The professionalism is questionable, the staff shouldn't smell of drugs. Destini productions is to blame here and not necessarily the venue.

Never been country line dancing and saw on Wednesday night this is the place to learn. We got there about 7:15 and there were two lines for entry with security checks- one for women and the other men and women. $4 charge for men, no charge for ladies. Initially there were people dancing on the main floor and didn’t know if this was going to be the lesson but soon the instructor went on the stage and everyone rushed to get a good spot. There’s no dancing space really so some stepping on toes by accident happens. He taught us a basic dance routine easily learned after repeating many times. He then continues teaching different routines for the next couple hours so you can decide when you want to try. There was also another dance lesson going on in the back with less people. The place is very spacious with a bar at the front then after 9 pm the bar in back opened as it became more crowded. It’s a laid back friendly atmosphere and Im glad I had the chance to go while visiting Charlotte.

Came in on a girls weekend. None of us know how to line dance but we enjoyed watching and listening to live music! Plus a few in our group rode the bull! The place is huge!! My only 2 complaints is that the bar is CASH ONLY! Plus you are only allowed 1 drink at a time and cannot buy drinks for others unless they are standing there with you.

Kayla Gjata1in the last week

I booked The Royal Tot in Charlotte for a very special family occasion – my daughter’s surprise birthday party – and initially had a great impression of Tom, who I believe is the owner. Before payment, he was really pleasant and accommodating, assuring me we could arrive early to set up so the surprise would be seamless. Unfortunately, once the booking was paid in full – a very high amount, especially given the evening in question had almost no other guests – communication changed dramatically. Leading up to the event, prior commitments were forgotten, and his responses became inconsistent. On the evening itself, instead of the promised early access, we were made to wait. When we finally entered, the room appeared to be a storage room and was quite cluttered with miscellaneous items that needed to be removed, leaving very little time for setup before my daughter’s arrival. A request to clear the space, made with only minutes to spare, resulted in a surprisingly hostile and unsettling reaction from Tom, who raised his voice and demanded a family member to leave, and then demanded of us to leave. With only moments before my daughter’s arrival, I had to beg him to calm down so the event could proceed. It was over a week ago now and I’m still frightened from that experience. The two staff members that arrived later were polite, but it was clearly their first day, and there seemed to be significant staffing turnover and challenges. The venue itself did not justify its high prices, particularly given that every single item ordered also carried a mandatory tip. I do not recommend this place and would suggest looking elsewhere, as there are many other wonderful venues in Charlotte that offer far better service, communication, and professionalism.

Came on a Monday for a few drinks before dinner and had an amazing time. Sam the bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable and made the most delicious cocktail I’ve ever had in my life called the Saturn. He really showed us a great time and make our experience special. We also had the sally sells seashells, a pain killer, and a mai tai-all phenomenal. Oh and it’s gorgeous on the inside and the roof. This establishment presents serious concerns regarding customer safety. An incident occurred in which an individual was shot on the premises, raising questions about the adequacy of protective measures for patrons. In addition to the safety risks, the pricing structure at this business is notable. Admission fees at the door and the cost of drinks are set at a level that suggests a premium experience. However, the quality of the environment does not reflect the financial expectations placed on customers. The combination of unsafe conditions and elevated pricing creates a negative overall impression. Customers should reasonably expect that personal safety is prioritized, particularly in establishments that operate at premium cost levels. Unfortunately, this has not been the case here.

Friday night was quiet, but Saturday drew a full crowd. You’ll have a better experience if you book a table, as the lounge is mostly furnished with sectional sofas, leaving limited space for those without one. One major downside was the condition of the venue and all the parking spots that were reserved. The sofas were covered in burn marks, which was a big letdown, and some of the tiled designs were missing pieces. Considering how much we spent, I was disappointed by the lack of upkeep and attention to detail. That said, the DJ was good on Saturday, so we still managed to enjoy ourselves.

We came on a Thursday afternoon. Patio was so beautiful and the chairs so comfortable!! We started with the pretzel sticks, wings with a few sauces on the side, and Nashville hot mozzarella sticks. All the apps were delish. The mozzarella sticks had a spicy seasoning and it was different than I expected but still good!! I got a chicken ceasar wrap add bacon which was perfect and all the signature drinks were 7$ which was even more amazing. I'll be back!

I attended a comedy show at this lounge. I must be honest it was okay. It’s a bar/lounge with bar food. The wings and shoestring frozen fries were decent for keeping the stomach coated while drinking🥳There are no “cocktails” 😲but there are drinks. There’s a big difference. The bartender was cool! I’m a great tipper so I’m usually in command at the bar. 🍹 I prefer cocktails but I can also drink whiskey straight. Gotta be flexible in life 💯 We were seated on the stage which had several missing boards in the flooring. That could be a potential claim should someone trip and falls off the stage🤦🏽‍♀️. At first the young man’s attitude was dismissive however he redeemed himself, as my girlfriend used her voice to remind him of being the patron and essentially “his aunties”. He did make it better - but why go through all of that? The servers were friendly and thoughtful. The lady at the door had good energy. The comedy show was fun. The comedians did a good job. I’m not sure that I would return. However I send peace love and blessings forward 🙏🏾♥️

I absolutely loved the decor and setup of this place. They have outdoor seating with fire pits. This place is rather small so I wouldn't recommend if you're wanting to dance. The only thing that stopped me from giving a 5 star rating was the service...our server was dry and not personable...other than that, I'd come back.

All American Pub provides a average experience for those seeking a casual spot to grab a bite, especially if you've already been drinking and are in a jovial mood. While the waiter service and lack of depth in flavor in its food left something to be desired, the reasonable prices and differing specials they sport everyday make it a decent option, particularly when you're looking for some late-night munchies. Let's start with the positives. The prices were great for the location, making it stand out in the area if your looking for a casual meal at a good price. It's also centrally located, making it a great late night spot to grab some greasy food after a night out with friends. However, the service provided by the waitstaff was average at best. While they were courteous, it was evident that they were either overwhelmed or lacking in efficiency, resulting in longer wait times. When it comes to the burgers, they were good but unfortunately fell short of expectations for a full american experience. While the patties had juiciness and were cooked well, they lacked flavor and the toppings were nothing extraordinary. If you're a burger aficionado, you might find yourself a bit underwhelmed by the offerings. I believe it was best said by my friend at the table that the fries stole the show over everything. However, if you're already in a jovial state, the burgers can still satisfy a craving for something hearty. In summary, All American Pub may not be the top choice for outstanding service or memorable burgers. However, if you're already a little drunk and looking for some late-night sustenance without high expectations, it can be a suitable option. The reasonable prices and greasy food are the main highlights that make this pub worth considering for a casual outing.

Bill Mote32 years ago

So much potential given the location, the available space, and the patio. The beer was cold, and the tater-tots stole the show. Probably the saddest Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich I've ever had. The wife's Chicken Parmesan was no better. Not bad or gross mind you, but all around meh. Sonny (sp?) was friendly (lunch visit). Jasmine (sp?) was pleasant and kept our beers fresh (afternoon/football visit). Those 2 kept the review from being lower.

If I could assign zero stars to this establishment, I would have done so immediately upon arriving at the club for a birthday celebration. Upon arrival, I noticed that the birthday individual had reserved two sections. Despite arriving after 11:30 and being on the guest list, both my plus one and I were required to pay for admission. Furthermore, my plus one, who is 22 years old, was charged an additional $20 due to being under the age of 25. Upon entering the club, I was underwhelmed by the aesthetic and found the music selection to cater primarily to individuals under 25. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I do not intend to return.

Parking? Grab the spots across the street, next door or in the adjacent plaza. They offer seating even if it’s for 1 person and you can still see ALL THE TVs. ( I ended up joining a group so I got a booth) - FOOD WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS - Our server was really nice, attentive and fast. It was packed and she absolutely took care of us! - Be warned, inside- front row booths have a spending threshold of $300 per ( if you’re with a group you’ll reach that easily.) You can’t just sit “anywhere” see the hostess or you can just stand at the bar, but you can eat and drink while standing the outside area is awesome too!! *** Yeah the music is loud and it can be a younger crowd.. think Sunday Brunch.. but I liked it.***

Cindy was an excellent server! She was very sweet and very professional. She made sure we were good all night! (We came for the Warriors game.) My drinks weren’t as sweet as they could have been, but they were very strong. So that’s great for ppl that don’t want watered down drinks. My smash burger was pretty good too! Only complaint would be more customization. I would have liked different cheeses and maybe a more medium temped burger. But overall the vibes were there and the food and drinks were enjoyable.

Cover charge $10. Multiple bars, multiple huge dance floors, even a billiards room. The big downside was the bathrooms, they were clean but only like 3 stalls for that many people was impossible to get to the bathroom in a reasonable amount of time. Wide range of All latino music. Lots of security but didn't seem to care that guys wouldn't leave us alone. Loved the food stands outside. A lot of people dancing it definitely got so packed but everyone was having fun. Didn't see any drama.

Chaotic and disappointing. While it may boast big-name DJs and flashy events, the reality is overcrowded rooms, poor ventilation, long lines, even for VIP, and overpriced drinks that don’t match the hype. More concerning, though, is the atmosphere: it doesn’t feel safe. There are frequent reports of underage guests visibly intoxicated, young people using drugs openly, and young women passed out or stumbling without any support. It’s not the kind of place you’d ever want your children to end up. Despite the music and potential, the overall experience is mismanaged and unsettling.

Walked out of the door to the club with my drink in hand standing over the trash can getting ready to throw it away when a security guard came up & snatched it out of my hand spilling it all over me without saying a word then walked away. Extremely rude and disrespectful, he could’ve told me to throw it away and I would’ve just like what I was ABOUT TO DO anyway. Told two other security guards about it & one of them said “well you were doing something illegal soooo..” acting like I’m stupid. Regardless, rude & could’ve been handled differently then that response made it even worse. My friends have had issues with security being rude as well. Also, drinks are ridiculously expensive/overpriced.

Came here to have some fun and meet people for my birthday weekend and it did not disappoint. We had such a great time!! Shoutout to their security for making us feel extremely safe & being so attentive - very important in such a crowded place. Definitely excited to come back next time we’re in Charlotte! 🔥

I see the potential but it’s not all there. To start off, I love the music! They have 2 sides, one for more of the older side that like bachata, merengue, etc. the other side is mostly reggaeton/perreo, sometimes even rap/rnb. Negatives: the stairs at the entrance/exit can be dangerous. Needs a bunch of upgrades for sure, especially the bathrooms!!! In the ladies room, some doors don’t lock, luckily I had a couple of ladies that were nice enough to watch my back. The bathroom attendants were slacking a bit. The lighting of the club is not the best, they have outdoor seating and those bright lights interfere with the inside. Definitely should dim it down some. Last but not least, the bouncers can be a bit iffy.

A very nice place, Bartender Chelsea was super nice and inviting. Karen one of the girls there was very nice. Had a great time, we went early when they opened and had a great time.

Top tier talent at this place. My friends and I had a great time here. Only complaint was when the plus sized dancer sat at our table and shamed us for not actively spending more money when we had already been there for 2 hours and spent well over 1000 dollars amongst us. Made us feel like it was time to leave. Regardless, 100% will come back sometime in the future and avoid the one girl

I was here at a Brazilian Party with typical foods full Bar and Pagode, the Caipirinha was missing. Now let's talk about the location, it has a large parking lot shared with other establishments, a little dirty but it does its job. At the entrance to Dubai there is a metal detector that will prevent someone from entering armed with a security signal. Entering there is a reception and two lounges that can eventually be two different parties. Of course I was at a private party with a different atmosphere but I can't help but comment that the space is very poorly decorated, the place looks like a big kitchen it's not pretty or comfortable, I don't want to go back, I believe that what saves It is a good location with a direct exit to Independence Blvr.

Always misinformed about concerts entries posting 9pm but never opens at 9pm for entry. Singers leaves early. Doesn’t worth if your money

The club was nice and the music was fun, very crowded but the fire alarm started going off on all three levels. Being taught to exit when hearing this alarm, I proceeded to leave the bar and asked the door lady in the image below that if I exited for my safety, would I be allowed back in. She proceeded to tell me no and that I would have to repay the cover and wait in line to get back in. This bar put making money over the safety of the attendees and I would not go back. She proceeded to tell me that it was a false alarm without proof however fire fighters showed up and had to confirm everything was okay.

My two friends and I went to there at 10:00 we went up and the bouncers said we couldn’t let us in because we we’re underage. Then they proceed to tell us to come back at 12:00 and they would let us in. Later we came back at 12:00 and when we arrived one of the bouncers said pay me 40$ and I’ll let you all inside. My friend paid him and then we went inside a woman inside with black hair and tattoos said she couldn’t let us in because we were underage we told her we already paid the bouncers and she said they shouldn’t be doing that go get your money back we told him off and he gave the money back. It’s pathetic that the shady bouncers at the club we’re trying to rob young girls because those men think we’re vulnerable. I'm apparently not the frist group of people that this happen to when I’ve asked my other friends.please fire them thank you.

I paid a deposit for a section to enjoy my Bachelorette weekend on April 5th! Long story short, we arrived and they were closed! No notice, email, not even a post saying that they would be closed! 2 days later I saw a post that they were under “new management”. I called and spoke to someone stating that refunds would be made! A MONTH LATER AND STILL NO REFUND! Every time I call it’s a bunch of BS! Although we could have went somewhere else to enjoy a night out it was the principle that MONEY was paid beforehand and never returned! Bad business! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Legal matters will be taken into account! Definitely will be closed again!

The Hive was a fine time. Music, lights, accessible drinks…however…. The lights are entirely too bright. It looks like they put a lot of money into the decor and lighting system but none of it was really matching the music. Mostly felt randomly timed. The bar and restrooms were pretty accessible; although the bartender never pointed out that 20% tip was already included; so I was tipping on top of an already expensive tab. I also really am not fond of the VIP tables being between the DJ and dance floor. I think it causes an unnecessary eye contact with the VIP table guests and non VIP patrons. The bouncer was pretty cool with us despite the mixed reports I’ve heard. Bar accessibility 4/5 Restroom access 5/5 Line processing 5/5 Aesthetic and atmosphere 3/5 Music 3/5
