Weldon Mills Distillery is such a gem! From the moment I walked in, the service was fantastic! Friendly, attentive, and they really know their stuff when it comes to the drinks. The cocktails are top-notch, all crafted with their own spirits like rum, gin, whiskey, and tequila. I tried a couple and each one was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the food? Absolutely delicious! The brisket nachos were loaded and full of flavor, and the elotes deviled eggs were such a fun twist. One of the best parts is their $10 tastings, such a great way to try out their gins, vodkas, whiskeys, or tequilas without breaking the bank. They’ve got their original spot in Weldon and a beautiful location in Durham, which even features a full-service event center and a private tasting room. Both locations have a great atmosphere and make you want to hang out a while. Overall, Weldon Mills really does have it all, amazing drinks, tasty food, great vibes, and outstanding service. Definitely worth a visit!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had such a great time doing the tequila tasting at Weldon Mills! The vibes were amazing—super chill, great music, and everyone was really welcoming. The tequila was smooth, and they really knew their stuff. And don’t even get me started on the chocolate beignets… SO good! Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in Durham.

This is a place worth checking out. It's a cool vibe with comfy chairs right in Durham's social district. The service is fantastic with a masterful bartender. It is worth a pit stop before dinner or whatever else the night holds.

Super cute place. Dog-friendly (possibly just limited to outside, not sure, but that’s okay because their rooftop patio is so nice!). You can order from your table with a QR code and they just bring everything to you. No worrying about slow service or having to flag someone down. Can also go inside to the bar to order, but I love the option of just relaxing at a table and ordering as you finish your current drinks. Their seltzer selection is awesome for someone who mostly can’t drink beer, and they have an extensive list of cocktail options and even some nice NA options. Will definitely be back — too many seltzers to try in one go, but so many of them were intriguing!

Great spot! My friends and I went in and purchased almost one of everything! Andy and Ragen were amazing and super accommodating! 12/7/24 - a spot that's open until 2am! We had fun getting some drinks and playing darts. The bartender was super cool and nice. The atmosphere felt like where locals go. They had some other games to play like pool, and arcade games. They even have an older Juke box.

I have been eagerly awaiting High Dive to open in downtown Durham and it did not disappoint. It is located in the old Quarter Horse location, and has the same owners as Bar Virgile and Annexe. I loved the Durham memorabilia inside and the casual atmosphere. They have several TVs playing sports as well as lots of games such as pinball, pool, foosball, darts, and Golden Tee. There is also a jukebox and free popcorn machine. Aside from drink options, patrons can also order nachos.

Killer Queen is an absolute gem in downtown Durham! When I was moving to NC, I worried if there would be wine bars that featured natural wines (my kryptonite) and Killer Queen does not disappoint! They have a fantastic rotating selection of White, Red, Rose, Orange, and Sparkling wines for you to enjoy. The ambiance is so cute and cozy; you feel as though you walked into your best friend's living room with plenty of counter seating to boot! Everyone that works here is so knowledgeable and friendly and willing to work with you until you find your perfect pour. There's also a small but mighty food menu equipped with charcuterie boards and warm chocolate chip cookies. When I tell you this place is one of my absolute favorites in Durham, believe me! Killer Queen for the win!

I've been waiting to try this bar and finally got the chance on a hot Wednesday night. They were pretty busy for such a small, "hole in the wall" kind of place but the staff were attentive and quick! I love the atmosphere in here, from the decor to the music, to the friendly vibe of the staff. Shout out to the bartender for being so knowledgeable about the wines on-hand including the notes, brand stories, and pairings. I got the Lebanese wine, Cinsault Syrah Canernet 2021. I love a shiraz so this did it for me! I also ordered the trout dip and it hit the spot!!! Not too cheesy, and just enough protein in it to make me feel full. This spot is working its way to being one of my new favorite bars in downtown Durham. 💕

Unhinged and Dangerous Bartender – Avoid at All Costs I’ve put off writing this, but after what happened tonight, it needs to be said. One of the bartenders at this place, Karen (ironically) has had a clear problem with me for a while — for no reason other than I don’t play into her insecure, petty power trips. I don’t buy her attention, her bs, or her validation, and apparently that sets her off. Tonight, she crossed a line. She tried to physically attack me — knocking a drink out of my hand — and this was after she deliberately added other people’s charges to my tab. This wasn’t a mistake. It was targeted, hostile, and completely unacceptable behavior. Multiple people saw it happen, and not a single one of them was surprised. That should tell you something. No one I know who goes here likes her. She’s known for being problematic. Management needs to get serious about who they let represent their bar before someone truly gets hurt.

Congress Social Bar 4.7 (61)

471 S Driver St, Durham, NC 27703, USA

Julian Foster53 months ago

Even a mid-June downpour couldn't dampen the spirits at Congress Bar, where a vibrant Juneteenth celebration unfolded on their expansive patio. What began as a mere drizzle quickly intensified, yet the festive atmosphere, fueled by a live DJ and an enticing array of food trucks, only seemed to grow more animated. The air buzzed with conversation and laughter, a testament to the palpable energy that permeated the space. Despite the inclement weather, the patio remained a hub of activity. Patrons, undeterred by the rain, found shelter under awnings and in covered sections, creating a cozy yet lively communal experience. The choice of beverages perfectly complemented the relaxed, celebratory mood: ice-cold Coronas provided a crisp refreshment, while the classic daiquiris, a true standout, were remarkably well-executed – a delightful balance of sweet and tart that lingered pleasantly on the palate. Congress Bar's patio, even under challenging conditions, proved to be an ideal setting for such an event. Its comfortable and inviting layout encouraged lingering and socializing, making it easy to forget the world outside. This Juneteenth gathering was more than just a party; it was a testament to community spirit and an undeniable good time. A return visit is not just likely, but eagerly anticipated.

A little expensive but the vibes and overall atmosphere is amazing we wanted to show up for their Read and Sip event but accidentally came a week early. Had an amazing time chatted with the staff, they had amazing cocktails as well as mocktails and even offered to change the music for us since we all came in to read. We declined but they did play some calm tracks while we were there which was super considerate on their part definitely going again

This place is hands down one of the best local spots around! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly faces and an atmosphere that feels more like home than just a bar. The bartenders are absolutely amazing—attentive, fun, and they always go the extra mile to make sure your drink is perfect. The food is just as impressive—delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor (not your typical “bar food”). Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for the night, the menu has something for everyone. What really makes this place special, though, is the vibe. It’s the perfect spot to watch a game, laugh over drinks, or just hang out with friends who truly feel like family. Every visit is a good time, and it’s quickly become my go-to place to unwind. If you’re looking for great food, incredible bartenders, and a welcoming, family-style atmosphere, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Atmosphere and staff are nice, very knowledgeable and skilled and attentive. Everything is definitely on the expensive side. Drinks and custom cocktails are around $15-20. We got the Mexican Herbalist and the Alley Cocktail both were very strong. The Alley Cocktail was a little overpowered with the whiskey flavor. We also got the fried chicken biscuit they made for the Biscuits and Banjos music festival. It was a sweet cornmeal biscuit in goat fat but it was a bit burnt, mild but nice fried crunchy chicken piece, and some tasty collard greens which could have been added in a higher quantity for its flavor profile. ******I noticed our biscuit chicken piece was half the size of the other customers, which I did not appreciate for paying $16 for it.

Club Era is a new and fresh take on the Raleigh-Durham area, club and nightlife. Even though it's relatively new, it has started off with so much more to offer than several other businesses that have been here for a long time. It's very positive and inclusive towards LGBTQIA+ customers, but also businesses and other groups looking a great spot to provide more entertainment opportunities. The staff is not only always friendly, but several have worked at other very successful similar businesses in the area over time. It is looking to be the start of a new special place for Bull City natives and visitors from all around. Highly recommended to drop in on different nights and seeing which events and themes suit your interests, but also trying out hanging with the regulars and dancing too.

I've been here while visiting my friend twice now and I enjoy everything I get each time! I especially LOVE the deviled eggs. Our waitress was very nice, helpful and attentive to us. My only negative review is how dark it is inside. This is a great place to sample a massive selection of brews from ciders, lagers, IPA’s and wines. There's even CBD seltzers. Its priced by the ounce so a 14 ounce glass can set you back a bit. Its self pour though so you can gauge if you want to sample a few or dive in. The tech is great. Easy to use and the beer is cold.

A favorite place to stop in at while downtown. The pour-your-own wristband system is more or less custom flights, which is great for trying out new stuff, and if you're wanting to keep your alcohol intake relatively low it's easy to just get small samples to taste. I've discovered a number of very interesting beers and ciders here. Staffing tends to be minimal, as you get your own drinks. They've recently started experimenting with adding in kombucha to the lineup, for non-drinkers in a group. Overall, one of my two go-to bars in Durham.

This is a really cute place with a great vibe. The food was fresh and delicious. Please note they have more of a small plates menu. I could tell the server was new, but she provided good service. If you are even in the area, it's worth stopping by. This place is located across the street from the DPAC.

A great place for a pre or post show drink when going to DPAC (unless you go on Sunday because they're closed that day). Great vibes and the cocktails are incredible, with a rotating menu every few months so you get to try new drinks frequently! They've expanded their food menu but it's still usually more small plates but anything we've ever gotten have been great. Charcuterie boards there are usually really nice! Limited seating and when they're busy it can sometimes take a while to get orders put in, but for the most part everything there runs smoothly. I enjoy sitting at the bar so that I can watch them make the drinks, especially the smoked cocktails! And their themed menus and special events are a lot of fun! We recently went to their Grinch pop-up and it was super cute!

Very bad customer service. This waitress was rude and made my drink wrong. I asked her to remake it because it was suppose to be a double shot of Jamison and a splash of Ginger and she gave me this, half Jamison and ginger ale. She tried to charge me $17 again to remake it. (The picture attached was taken after I started drinking). I DEFINITELY wouldnt recommend this place.

This place is pretty dope. Laid back vibes, kind of “hippie” to me but it was great. They have cat head honeysuckle vodka which a lot of places I go don’t and I LOVE that. The bartenders were great and the prices were very reasonable. I love that they have signature seasonal specialty drinks, that were banging btw! Only complaint was that it had like a basement smell and the bathrooms weren’t well kept the night we went. I still recommend if in Durham try this little down to earth bar.

TThis is ridiculous I am banned because I asked if somebody paid the same as me because they didn’t have the identification to prove they paid. I was kicked out by Wayne for questioning him allowing someone to play without the proper proof. Even though you only recently have to pay, for years it was free. I said ok , no problem I didn’t know and he continued to ban me without cause because I dared to question. If you are a woman who stands up for yourself this is not the place to go. All night men were dictating who could play and in what order but I ask a quandary and I am insulting Wayne. This is ridiculous! All I was questioning was fair treatment. When it was explained I backed off but Wayne’s drunk pride was hurt and he banned me permanently and he tried to fight me (a woman).

The Velvet Hippo is exactly the kind of place that makes you feel like you accidentally stumbled into your new favorite hangout. We dropped in on a Sunday because (a) they’re proudly LGBTQ+ inclusive, and (b) they allow dogs—which, let’s be real, is a massive win for any spot in Florida heat. First impression? Packed. But in a good way. The energy was high, the patio was buzzing, and every table felt like the cool kids' table. It was one of those effortlessly fun environments where you can’t help but vibe along. Food-wise: I went with the tostadas, which were absolutely brimming with flavor—crispy, fresh, and loaded with toppings that weren’t just filler. My husband ordered the Cuban sliders, and full disclosure: I immediately regretted not doing the same. They were juicy, savory, and had us doing the polite “just one more bite?” dance until the plate was clean. Drinks: His old fashioned? A+—perfectly balanced and smooth. This isn’t one of those bars that half-asses the cocktail game. They know what they’re doing. Would we go back? Without hesitation. Great food, great drinks, a fun and inclusive crowd, and our dog was treated like royalty. If you’re in St. Pete and want something casual but full of personality, The Velvet Hippo is the move. Pro tips: * Get there early on Sundays—it gets crowded fast. * Order the Cuban sliders. Trust me. * Patio is dog-friendly, so bring your pup for bonus smiles.

Perfect place for a celebration, catchup date, or simply a random party with the community. It's the perfect blend of intimate and urban, rooftop and cozy, stylish and warm and welcoming to all. Food just keeps getting better, cheese board is especially nice: pretty, fresh and tasty. If cocktails are your thing, I think this is the funnest place in Durham.

Friendly, inviting, welcoming spot. You can feel the good vibes when you walk in the door. I love the gender-neutral bathrooms, as they say on the door "whatever, just wash your hands!" The cons are that is it is very very dark in the bar and our drinks were so-so. Regardless, I would still visit this place again.

Favorite place to go in Durham. It leans into a New Orleans style mystic vibe with Tarot readings, live music ranging from Jazz to folk to the occasional goth/industrial DJ night. What's really nice is that it has a nice group of patrons. It's the kind of place you can hang out, have a drink, meet new people if you want or be left alone if that is what you prefer. Everyone is welcome except people who don't understand boundaries. The crowd tends to be more adult and eclectic than some of the other bars in Durham that cater to the tech bro and more traditional folks. The drinks are very good. Kind of like the place itself, the drinks are simple, good and easy to enjoy. The prices are reasonable and the bartenders are very nice and professional. It's just a great casual place. Still a great place, post pandemic.

We loved Dram and Draught so much we went twice in the same day. The staff was super friendly and informative, and the drinks were great. We even got to try some unique things as we chatted with the bartender. The location is a decent size with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating, booths, bar stools, pub tables, and a lounge area. Highly recommend stopping here, as they seem to have a drink for everyone. I also loved that the menu showed the type of glass the cocktail would be served in. Just a nice added touch!

Phenomenal cocktail bar! We got seated pretty much immediately at the bar late on a Friday night. Super nice vibes and tasty cocktails: smooth but still reasonably strong. I also appreciated that they weren’t outrageously priced even for some of the signature cocktails - would definitely come back to try more of the selection! There was energy but never felt too crowded - do note that there was 20% built in gratuity.

First time going Saturday night. It was an amazing place mix of classic arcade games and arcade food with a grown up feel. The menus have me so wanting to go back and try more things soon. Ms. Tyler was on register when ordering my pizza and her interactions were amazing. Her vibe made the experience from order to eat amazing. She went way above on customer service and I appreciated it a lot. A+ customer service bar and pizza side. We got the 2 pair pizza and pasta combo and it turned out to be really cool in a new modern way that I wasn’t expecting. Got the hot honey sauce on cheese, and for one who don’t like spicy at all it was good.

If you're ever in the neighborhood stop in for some good wings and affordable drinks!

Showing up at 9pm on a Saturday night, to enjoy a burger... or any food for that fact. Just to be told that "They decided to clean the hoods and the kitchen is closed". So... either the owner neglected customers and has no idea how to run a bar at peak hours... or they done messed up somewhere with staffing and had to make up excuses to cover said owners bad staffing choices. I've been here before and have never seen such a lack of customer service. Something as simple as food at a establishment that just said "nope"... well moving on.

I actually feel deeply disturbed that I have not posted a review yet for my top 5 Favorite Place. This place is the perfect mixture of local watering hole, delicious/indulgent/slightly-healthy food, football club watching, limitless beer option place. Like ever. I can't emphasize enough how much I like the food here. And the single first picture is all you need to know really for food. This is the coup de grace of the food choices. The "digger" sandwich with a side salad w ranch (not pictured) and a side order of sweet potato fries with the literal world's best honey mustard dipping sauce. I mean The. World's. Best. But I've actually eaten almost almost everything on the menu and I honestly love each and every item. The whole menu is diverse and unique and has healthy options and creative options. Really next level. And the cornucopia of options on the beer side coupled with the endless sea of tables to sit and enjoy, or invite friends and gather together, the cultural Soccer vibe from The Back Room, and everything in between. This place is a small slice of heaven, on like 15 different levels.

The regulars will do their own thing but if a conversation strikes up, they are approachable. I should also note the food is always good. Good portions and worth the price. I had seen this place before and it had always caught my attention. Now that I had the chance to go in, I loved how it looks inside. I went on a Saturday and there was a live band playing. If you’re looking for a place to have long conversations, it would be hard here since the music is pretty loud. The first band we heard wasn’t very good, but the second one was really nice. They have beers, wines, and ciders. The bathrooms are kind of weird.

Durham Native. As the city grows so do the dining options after spending a decade or so traveling and being away from home. We started exploring the new Downtown Durham which has changed a great deal over the years. Alot of the restaurants in the area are cheap gimmicks, pretentious and disappointing. But what remains a constant is Devines. It stands out in this new world offering the same classic hoemtown sports bar vibe that i grew up with. But it does not stumble on delivering good food, spirits great friendly staff and events. We no longer have to explorer the new downtown cause Devines will always home to us.

Literally my new favorite place in Durham. Pure ghetto-grunge-casual goodness. First time I went I got the two taco plate with Birria beef for $10 (all plates are $10) and a shot of whiskey for $7. I watched something like cannonball run on the backdrop of the bar and thought I had died and straight up gone to heaven. Second time I got the Birria beef burrito, served with Fritos corn chips and watched Galaxy Quest on the backdrop of the bar. Good lord. I had died and this was, in fact, heaven. The Birria burrito was better than the first. i'm going to do a separate review for the taco stand in the back, but it's all of it. It's one perfect combination of awesome atmosphere dive-ish bar, classic retro 80s movies on the backdrop, good alcohol and/or cheap alcohol, and literally to die for $10 Mexican plate options. Once you go you're gonna want to go every night, and lucky for you you can afford to

We used to love coming to Bull McCabe anytime we wanted good sandwiches or burgers and some drinks. The atmosphere remains great with plenty of seating and nice lights on the lawn. But the one star is still justified because of how disappointed we were in the food tonight. I was craving my go to mushroom Philly and Caesar salad and my husband was wanting a burger. But we discovered they changed their menu to be an Indian inspired menu but also with random bar food (none of them vegetarian) or Mediterranean (falafel, hummus). It was so confusing. As a vegetarian who was in no mood for Indian food (despite that being my favorite cuisine) and not expecting it at an Irish pub, I was forced to get a kids mac and cheese and hummus and falafel. The pasta was gross. The falafel was so overly fried and rock hard. You also can’t order beer with the QR code like before which was so convenient, you have to go up to the window. It was SUCH a disappointing meal. The only good thing was that we discovered this horrible change tonight so we no longer have our anticipated plans to come with a large group next week for my birthday. I really hope this is temporary and they bring back the Philly and all the other popular dishes.

Outstanding service you couldn't ask for more. I believe our waitress was Emily and she was beyond excellent. We have never eaten here before which she recommended the 2 chicken breasts on top of mashed potatoes, with grilled veggies and a honey gravy and my with had the shrimp and grits which she couldn't stop talking about. WOW!!! I know you usually only give 5 stars for the service and food but I would give at least a million stars. Usually we don't eat desert but it was highly recommend to get the brownie with vanilla ice cream, a little chocolate sauce and cherries. Really it melted in your mouth and the brownie was slightly warm which really topped it off. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to go and enjoy the atmosphere, the outstanding service and the wonderful food. Best of all it is not expensive which really surprised us.

A cool and convenient place to get something to eat and drink. The atmosphere is spacious and the sound carries so if you are trying to watch the game you won't have to worry about the crowd talking over it. I sat at the bar and checked out the pool and volleyball court across from me. This looks like a community center with a restaurant which peaks my interest. I tried taking photos of the ambiance and the beautiful assortment of bottles but I fear it doesn't do justice. I had a Honey Puloma mocktail which was sweet, crisp, and had a slightly bitter aftertaste from the grapefruit used in it. The waitress, Anna, added a little lemonade to make it a little sweeter. I also ordered a firecracker shrimp which is my new favorite now, and the feta melt which was devine. The meat was juicy, zesty and salty just the way i like a burger. The service was excellent in person. My only feedback was that I tried the number and no one had answered. The answering machine said the place was closed which seemed off. I tried calling in my order so I can come and pick it up so if you try to do the same just be mindful of that. Otherwise, the staff, was welcoming and Anna was informative with her drinks. Her recommendations for mocktails were impeccable. Overall, I was well taken care of and WILL come back with folks. I HIGHLY recommend. 🖤

Great gathering place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even an early dinner. Mock- and cock-tails never disappoint and neither do the coffee and tea selections. The plates r well done and the biscuits r clearly handmade and baked right in the kitchen and hold their own as a side to any breakfast brunch option. (the pairings on drizzles and jams make them extra special!). I’ve been there w friends and plenty of times w family (infants and toddlers in tow ) and ALWAYS have a great time! Games and lively atmosphere keeps all of my guests happy during our time there. Certain popular times result in a wait but if u call ahead u can plan accordingly. Outdoor seating and indoor setting options r a plus. We’ve been patrons since it opened and there’s a reason we rtn over and over. Keep up the great work!

Came In for a bit before my flight to Chicago and it was a lovely experience. Alex the bartender was amazing. My Alfredo pasta was divine and good drink specials. Highly recommended for those in the area

This place is known for their rolls and I had the Sicilian roll. Kind of like a Stromboli but in sliced pieces. So much flavor, it was very good. Nice folks behind the bar roo.

The only reason I'm giving this place a 5-star is because of the receptionist Lauren. This señorita was super sweet and beyond gorgeous to my eyes her whole demeanor from being sweet to taking care of business🤤 . Anyways back to the review before I got sidetracked the club has a nice dark setting with a nice island bar and plenty of drink options 😌. 6.2/10 in my strip club experiences with my bro. The only downside to this night was the bartender charged my bro for a drink he didn't consume.... will I be coming back? Maybe, but idk how I feel about being called Javier 🤔

If you're black just go ahead and go somewhere else. Management and workers are really nice honestly. But you could literally be a nice looking minority and the dancers will not come up to you. Itd be different if they had upscale white men they're choosing id understand them using their best judgement bc they gotta get paid...Great prices honestly but the dancers obvious prejudice (even the slim amount of black dancers they have do it which is crazy like love yourself ma'am) just ruins it. I've given it chance after chance because it's a nice little chill spot, and ill have money just burning my pocket and truly wanting to spend it on the dancers. 1 star for the dancers, but I give 4 stars for management.

!!! Avoid this place at all cost!!! Pun intended. Charge me 18% percent gratuity even though I finish my food before 10pm. The charge me $4 extra dollars on top of the gratuity tip. Smh....now I see why this place is empty these days. Oh the food was trash too! But the Bud light was awesome!

My Cobb salad was ENORMOUS with all fresh ingredients. The blue cheese dressing was full of chunky blue cheese. They make all their dressings in house. My buddy had the AMAZING western double smash burger. I felt like he had entered some kind of food challenge when saw it. The food was great. Koodos to the cooks! Our bartender / waitress, Chioma was very polite, made sure we had a drink at all times, and was up for conversation. Every where you look was a flat screen with any sport you're for your fix. If you're in Durham, you gotta come in, grab a bite, a drink, and good conversation. Thanks guys! I will be back.

This place is not for everyone. It appeals more to the late 20s to late 30s latin working class community. They play corridos, trap, reggaeton, merengue, bachatas, and similar music. When I went, there was no entry fee but the drink cost was not cheap. At the end of the night, I spent about 75% of what I will spend in other clubs. They sell the beers in packs - bottle bear buckets (with 4-6 beers on it). The location is in a street mall but it appears to have plenty security and light. Like in most clubs, they search you every time you go in. If you are concerned about Security, they have tv monitors at the bar that show the parking lot. This give you additional peace of mind. I didn't know that I parked in front of the camera but it gave me piece of mind knowing that my car was secured and that I could see my car. They should invest on their tables on the floor because all of them seem very worn out. The tables seem to be part of the theme (working class, younger latin community) and most of the chairs are stools like the one in the attached foto. I'm in my 50s and went with my wife, so we go early to bed. The place doesn't start getting crowded until just before midnight. By 12:30 it's packed. So, this worked great for us because when it started getting crowded, we left . We didn't eat food but there was a taco truck right at the door. I didn't see any one entering with food but I have the feeling that they are partners or belong to the same owner. By the vibes of the club, I don't doubt they will let you walk in with food from that truck. The place is not very sophisticated. At the end of the night, we danced few songs and felt comfortable but this was not the type of club we are used to. Most say that the bartender and people in general seem very respectful and kept mostly to themself.

I went on a Thursday when the advertised free wings and their drinks specials. I’ve been before and the food was good ! What I didn’t appreciate was the bartender telling me that the wings were for “paying customers “ which I was had she given me a chance actually. I came in and got my wings to sit down and THEN order my tower w my friends. Before I could sit down she rudely told me they were only for paying customers. Which wasn’t advertised , does. purchase need to be made before getting wings idk ?? I would’ve spent more but her attitude was off putting. The other bartender was nicer and made up for the experience.

Not enough bartenders and it is SCORCHING HOT IN HERE!! People were literally passing out. Everyone including the staff was dripping sweat and it was hard to breathe, I couldn’t even dance. The bartenders looked tired and were moving sooooo slow. No toilet paper or soap in the bathroom and only 2/3 stalls were available. I’ll never come back here again.

From start to finish this was not the place to be. So pulling in there was someone in a ski mask, blocking the entrance, charging 35$ to park on the right side of the venue and 40 to park in the front. Reminder: this is Durham y’all be for real. The line outside was more crowded than inside the club and we showed up at 1230. We were able to bypass the line but once inside the doorway they were trying to charge 40$/ pp. ordered 2 drinks 50$. Ordered hookah, another 50$. For a Durham club to me these prices are crazy not to mention the club as shown in the video was super dirty and empty until about 1am. The crowd was pretty young. I would definitely not recommend this spot to anyone. On the positive side the dj low key was hitting, and the staff were all beautiful very friendly women.

I am not someone who writes lengthy reviews, but this place needs a good description. First, it's not a bad place to be if you're under 25. The price is fair and the parking isn't difficult. The inside is very akin to a frat party. A very young crowd, mainly Duke students with a few from other colleges because it's 18+. They are very clique-y so don't expect to mingle much. Like a Frat party, the room is overly crowded, stick and muggy. The students have no qualms vaping inside and will blow the vapor directly into your face. The music is bad if you're expecting any level of professionalism. The dj doesn't blend tracks, just plays the next song with a slight cross-fade, no tempo adjustments. It also is not always dancing music, just outdated popular songs. The drinks are reasonably priced, but again, more similar to what you would get at a house party. There are beer pong tables and a few booths. They do not have the mechanical bull out every night so ask the bouncer before you come in. Be sure to have 2 forms of ID, as the bouncers will sometimes assume one is fake and keep it. Honestly, I wouldn't go again, but if you're young and just wanna move it's great for that.

This place is 18+, but if you’re under 21, you have to pay to enter. $21 for unc, Duke, and state students, $31 for other ppl under 21. Honestly for this price I would expect more but you get nothing more than live music(I’m not professional in music but the music transitions are kinda abrupt). Vibes are good and the place is pretty clean.

Arrive an hour late if you’re going for an event. “Doors open” time is for an imaginary world. Literally the worst concert I have ever been to. I will never book tickets there again and do not recommend too. Absolutely no concert etiquette and no one enforcing any rules. Could not breathe and instead of controlling the crowd they encouraged the crowding. Go to Dubai night club in Charlotte. So much better with rules actually enforced. Security is on top of things there.

This place won't be open too much longer.... Dead club Expensive drinks And big artist no show Went to the nesi show..... cookout had a bigger audience than this place Updated review: Came back on Saturday for the show, was iffy if the same experience would happen Saturday. However, was pleasantly surprised. Great time, but what stops it from being a 5 star is the people, it's just weird how empty this place is. More people than last time and better energy, but still felt weird all the empty space
