The Trolley Pub was lots of fun! From the kind and welcoming gentlemen at check-in, to our driver Joel, it was a great experience. Joel was entertaining and asked if we wanted hype or chill bars to stop at. The first stop had 3 bars next to each other to choose from. The second stop had a live band with great music. People on the sidewalks waved and laughed at our singing as we passed. We had a blast! It was the perfect activity for a friend's birthday celebration.

So glad to have this little dive bar in Raleigh. Expect to get treated like a regular, even if you aren't, with cutesy drinks and a comfortable atmosphere. Their beer selection is good and they have drinks with glitter in them. GLITTER DRINKS! And, not to brag, but I was having a particularly bad day and was handed a tiny resin axolotl. Glitter drinks, sea creatures, chalkboard, cow couch, and an Alan Jackson cut out (not the one that was in Kmart in the 90s). Come hang out and see what's up. Good times await.

Literally my new favorite bar in the world, not just Raleigh! It fills one of Raleigh’s most lacking niches of being a space that feels divey without feeling like it’s just old and crusty… a dive bar for girls if you will!

The bartender was fantastic and it was our first time there on a date night. We placed a reservation and played games while enjoying some fantastic drinks. It was a great vibe and very relaxed. Would definitely go again. It only cost $5 total play games for as long as you want.

Excellent game bar in downtown Raleigh. There are usually plenty of tables (and you can make a table reservation beforehand if you want). Table fee is $5/person. They have a substantial game library that's fun to borrow from. The themed cocktail menu changes every few months and it's awesome, creative drinks with quality ingredients. Only light beer is Miller which is a bummer. The food is snacks and stuff that can be made in a microwave so I wouldn't plan to "eat" here, just snack.

The drinks were good as was the atmosphere. This place is a bit small but they accommodated 4 of us without any issues. We've been coming here the last few months, at least once every other weekend. We usually like to sit upstairs by the bar. Good music, good drinks - if I don't drink my usual titos soda splash of sprite, I like the Red Eye, and friendly staff! Plus, if you're hungry they have bags of chips to snack on.

This place was amazing and I’ll def be back again. Came on a weekday, the place was moderately packed which was nice because it didn’t make it awkward just being us two. The noise level is medium with everyone talking but nothing too crazy. The workers were super friendly and attentive, answering our questions and making sure we understood the menu. The drinks here are also very delicious and presentable. We also ordered an ice cream sundae for 2 which was very yummy; I def recommend you stop by for drinks and a good time.

Dram & Draught in downtown Raleigh, was highly regarded spot to me for drink enthusiasts, boasting an impressive selection of over 300 whiskeys, hand-crafted cocktails, local and regional draft beers (which I like to try), and a variety of wines. Reviews and word of mouth praise its diverse drink menu, catering to whiskey fanatics, craft beer lovers, and cocktail enthusiasts alike. The bar’s location makes it a convenient stop for locals and visitors. The atmosphere is described as lively yet classy, with a backlit wall of spirits creating an upscale vibe and outdoor seating ideal for date nights. The layout is relaxed and accessible, I was greeted with quick, friendly service from knowledgeable bartenders. Overall, Dram & Draught earns strong must visit for its drink variety, ambiance, and service, making it a top choice for a chill night out in downtown Raleigh.

Didn't actually have any food but the drinks were really good! Especially the Edward Teach! Good vibes, great service. I had planned to go somewhere else for a quick drink but the place I was originally going to was, ironically, covered in kids so I backtracked to this place cause I'd seen it on my walk to the original location. Great place for a few good drinks!

After 🥘 dinner, decided to walk around to explore a bit on this crisp August evening to help my food digest. Stumbled upon a line that drew my curiosity. Watts & Wards is easy to miss or pass by if not paying attention. Though if you are alert /aware, this is a cool hidden gem. There’s a small membership fee to gain entrance. The vibes are cool. You’ll go under ground to lead into an oasis of good 🎶 music, cool 😎 & chill people and bar stations placed strategically throughout. This was absolutely a happy 😊 accidental find. Met 2 other new visitors and chatted a bit before heading out. I’d definitely return. Unika B. & Co.

First off for those not from the area, there is a law that requires you to be a "member". Don't worry you can join at the door and it was $2. It ensured no issues inside as everyone shows an ID at the door. The cocktails were great as was the service. Inside and outdoor seating options. You really feel like you are in a speak easy.

Popped in here my first time during Bluegrass Fest to get a Sip and Stroll roadie. Cute bar. Several regulars hanging out in the afternoon with a couple dogs in attendance. Everyone very friendly. Bartender was nice. Pours were good. I’m going to give this place several more tries as I figure out what bar is going to be my sip and stroll regular bar for bourbon soda and vodka soda. I can't say enough amazing things about this place. On our last night in Raleigh, my husband and I decided to skip out on the quick bites and take the evening to enjoy a nice dinner. We were wildly impressed with the amazing and welcoming staff, the unique atmosphere, and the stellar food! We had the baked provolone which was the perfect starter. We also enjoyed the bone marrow appetizer, which was definitely my favorite part of the meal. It was literally melt in your mouth and super flavorful. We also enjoyed the squid one pasta and crab pesto dish. Lastly, we highly recommend their unique cocktail, Dr's Orders...pretty sure that's what it was called....either way it is a MUST if you enjoy bourbon. Thank you Flour and Barrel team for such an enjoyable and memorable meal!

Seems like a lovely, inclusive dive bar. I tried going for karaoke, but it ends at 1 AM. Google indicates that closing time is at 2 AM. From speaking with people present, they close at 1 AM on karaoke nights - which are Thursdays and Sundays. So definitely don’t show up for karaoke at 1230AM. 😅 The bartender was super helpful and cleared up their hours for me: they are closed Monday and Tuesday; open until 1 AM on Wednesday and Thursday; open til 2 AM on Friday and Saturday.

My brother and I arrived shortly after opening sat morning trying to kill some time before the game while our wives went shopping. We were quickly greeted at the bar by Conor and Kayleigh and served with a few drinks. The place was already starting to amp up, as it continued to pick up We still never saw the bottom of our glasses. Bartenders had great personalities and were very easy to get along with. Our family showed up about an hour later and we decided to eat there as well. It's bar food, nothing crazy, but was pretty good nonetheless. I will definitely return, if for nothing else, because of the amazing service from Conor & Kayleigh, top-notch!

This place is the best. I come here a lot to watch sporting events and the crowds during NC State games are so fun. If you can't make it to the game in person, go to Mitch's. I see a lot of good reviews on this place but sadly i did not get that same service. I came here for my dad’s show and to watch them play. Me and my girlfriend come inside and there is a white guy wth long brown hair who asked for our IDs it caught me off guard bc this isn’t a club and I’ve been to over 20-30 bars in Raleigh Zebulon Clayton Wilson knightdale all over and never gotten id’d. But this isn’t the issue. I explained I was here for my dad I have some music equipment let me call him so he can come get it. They guy says “well doesn’t that suck you should’ve thought abt that before hand like who doesn’t bring there id to a bar” I said I’ve never been id’d to go my dads show and they play at bars all the time calm down you work at a bar dude it’s not that serious. Then he explains that it’s also 12$ to get in allowing us entry without IDs then a Girl comes over and says uhm no they dont have ids. So this guy id’d me complained like a toddler bc I didn’t have an id then proceeded to let me in still. If anything this guy should be fired. I’m sure yall are a great establishment but I don’t mind being told I can’t com in I would’ve left no problem after giving my dad his music equitment I hop I can see a better bouncer for yalls bar instead of a white dude who thinks he’s better then everyone else. He also told my dad to punch him in the face which is kinda weird

1st timer with the family. First off the atmosphere was nice and serene as well dined outside on monday afternoon. Was an annoying fly but we were outside so...aside from that it was perfect. They have board games to enjoy while awaiting food. We got a game of uno in. The service was great. Our server Luke is the man. Top tier Arnold palmer and the "playa azul" cocktail was amazing. Now for the food. Got the beef nachos and added pimento cheese. The family loved it. We all got iron oak burgers. Those 2 smash burger patties with the crispy buns were insane. They got truffle fries, they were really good as well. Also tried the tenders, omg. 5 stars across the board loved this restaurant

Love that our inner child got to play and the adult could enjoy a drink while playing. Great combination. Clean place. Pinball machines all worked, and I love it. Flogger and Ms Pacman were sensitive joy sticks, which the Pacman machine for 4 players (sit down) blue joy stick would not good down. Only machine that didn't work. Again, overall, great experience. Thank you.

Dogs are the best, bartenders are awesome, any negative review is crazy. Atmosphere is cool too but it’s also a drunk bar so keep it in mind if you go late night or don’t want that environment. Doesn’t bother me at all. It’s always a vibe

I had the worst experience ever with bartender called Kelley. She was rude and not doing her job. Every time me or my friend ask her for something she ignored us and she even told us to call the owner if we have a problem. I really like the atmosphere and vibe of the place but not the stuff especially like this girl. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a peaceful evening.

No food options, which is fine for a bar of this caliber. Free pool which is a huge plus, went on a Friday night around 8 and the crowd was a perfect level. Reasonable drink prices and good selection of liquors and beer. Friendly bartenders and they were willing to make and try some different drinks which was great. Had a good conversation with a manager and appreciated the patronage.

The Miracle Bar / The Haymaker’s Christmas time alter ego was decorated beautifully in 2024 and had the best and most festive drinks! This was such a fun and cozy spot to enjoy delicious liquor drinks with a fun ‘instagramable’ touch to it. It’s not a huge spot and is tucked away a little bit but if you know what you’re looking for and where to look, this place is it.

One of the best shows I've seen in a long time! The venue is beautiful and well situated for seating! Please don't sleep on Mike Goodwin, he's the best! Thanks to the staff and bartender who served up well made drinks and food was hot and crispy 😋 if you're in Raleigh north Carolina, this is the place for you🫡💙

People please pay attention to your bill when you go out to places! I been going to Goodnights comedy for years! I probably go to a show every other month! I was there seeing Bruce Bruce. Tonight, I was very disappointed along with others! A lot of the customers were questioning their bill! I ordered two strawberries margaritas with sugar on the rim, no salt! I didn't order double shots of anything! Just a regular margarita with Patron! Which I totally understand that most places charge a up charge for Patron. As you see on the menu an Ultimate Margarita with 1800 Silver Tequila is $15.00 and $1 for strawberry! On my first receipt, before I complained and asked for a manager, I was charged $65 for two patron margaritas and $3.50 for it being strawberry! I also was charged $3.00 for curly fries and $1.50 for a side of buffalo sauce. The waitress asked if I wanted regular, curly or waffle fries. Not once did she mentioned it would be an up charge for curly fries. I ordered a side of buffalo sauce instead of the honey mustard that comes with the meal! I was charged $1.50! Long story short, I felt like you charged us what you wanted to charge! I was just there seeing @latrezanderson and I always order the same drink! I never ever have paid $32.50 for a patron margarita at Goodnights Comedy. The manager never came out, but the waitress adjusted the two drinks to $41 and said the manager said prices went up! I didn't even address being charged for the curly fries and buffalo sauce, or even when you charged $3.50 on my tirst bill for it being a strawberry margarita! I do not care if you're on a date, by yourselt, or anything, pay attention to what you're spending your money on! I work hard for my money, and what you won't do…..is play with me when it comes to that! Goodnights Comedy do better!!! You should NOT be charging $32.50 for a patron margarita! You're only using regular Silver Patron! If you want to charge those prices make it with Patron El Cielo!!! Tonight, just made me look at this establishment differently! I been going here since it was located in the old building! Tonight 7:00 show was a sold out show! Just imagine how much they made over charging customers! Charging customers for double shots drinks, when they just ordered a regular drink!

This was our first time dining at this restaurant after hearing good things about the food and atmosphere. Overall, the experience was mixed. I ordered the 6 oz Wolf Pack Burger. It was decent, though nothing that really stood out. My wife built her own burger, and her first comment was, “We should’ve just made burgers at home.” Unfortunately, I had to agree. On the positive side, the wedge salad I ordered was fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant. However, the fries with my wife’s meal were dry and lacked much taste, which was disappointing. While there were a couple of bright spots, the food as a whole didn’t live up to expectations. For us, it’s probably not a place we’ll return to, but others may enjoy it depending on what they order.

I loved their plátano relleno! I would highly recommend getting that! I had tried their lychee martini which is really good but to sweet! My complaint is that they don’t have coffee but have espresso martini…this shows me that they don’t make a true espresso martini just full of syrup and sugar. In order to make a real good espresso martini; it requires an espresso machine…

Downtown has so many great spots for food, and this one ended up being a surprising gem for us. There was an older man already inside who wouldn’t leave us alone, and it took our server stepping in to finally usher him out—it seemed like something they’ve had to do more than once. Kerry, our server, was kind and patient with our son, which we appreciated. The food was delicious across the board, and we liked the unique spin they put on some of their dishes. We’ll definitely give this place another visit and think it’s worth stopping in if you’re nearby.

He was helpful and constantly checking in on our table and gave his recommendations. I ordered the Tuna stack which was amazing and my Partner ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries which he enjoyed. Our drinks were definitely good. I wished I remember the names. My daughter and I had dinner here on Saturday, and I must say that the waitress was the best; she was very kind, helpful, and friendly! However, the food was terrible; the barbecue boneless chicken my daughter ordered tasted so stale and disgusting that it actually made her feel ill. This ale house location charged me extra for ranch dressing, extra for salad dressing which I really despise, and the ceaser salad was so chunky that I couldn’t almost chew it! Additionally, the salad dressing and the ranch dressing should be complimentary and included with the meal. I wouldn't advise anyone to visit this ale house location.

Booked a table with no context on the rules. Paid $80 to only be told that we all have to be 30 years old and up. When I spoke very politely to the owner she said we should have asked even though Kevin did not let us know the rules. The vibe was off from the beginning and we will never be back.

I always have a wonderful time at the Blue Oasis. Gwen does an excellent job running the establishment—she’s professional and attentive, especially when it comes to maintaining order and upholding the dress code, which I really appreciate. It creates a classy, respectful atmosphere where I generally feel safe and welcomed. One small area that could use some attention is the front door experience. On a few occasions, I’ve noticed the security guard interacting with guests in a way that can come across as being sarcastic. While I completely understand the importance of maintaining security, a friendlier tone would help enhance the overall vibe and make guests feel even more comfortable from the moment they arrive. That said, the Blue Oasis remains one of my favorite places to enjoy a night out. The energy is upbeat, the crowd is fun, and—best of all—people actually dance! If you’re looking for a spot where the atmosphere is lively and inviting, and where the gentlemen aren’t shy about asking the ladies to dance, this is definitely the place to be. Update: it’s apparent the owner spoke to the Security Guard as he now presents much friendlier. Way to go Gwen!

We really enjoyed this place, which was recommended by our hotel as a non-chain restaurant. My husband and I loved the laid-back atmosphere and noticed guys in there who look like "the regulars" just hanging out and having a good time. Lots of sports on different TVs, so you're sure to find something that interests you. Not only was the atmosphere great, but the food was fantastic!! Our server, Makee, recommended the chicken salad sandwich, and it was delicious with a side of onion rings. My husband had to order us a second basket of them, because he kept eating all of mine! Makee made us feel right at home and was attentive to whatever we needed. I am from Houston and have been to plenty of restaurants, and this place has the triple threat of great food, atmosphere, and friendly, fun staff. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Slow. I mean really slow. Walked in and sat down at the bar, there was a bartender doing some cleaning. She went into the back and didn’t come back for 5-7 minutes. No menu to peruse no acknowledgement that I was even there. Then when I got the menu I asked for a beer on the menu and they no longer have it and was given a dismissive response that “they haven’t redone the menu like they should have”. Why did I order food and didn’t just walk out you ask? I just had to see what was coming next in this adventure. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it actually came out SUPER FAST and tasted good. Overall Score: 4.1/10 – A clean and busy draft house with a decent atmosphere but underwhelming food and lackluster service. Atmosphere and Service: 4.3/10 – The restaurant combines tavern-style elements with a more traditional booth seating setup. The space is clean for the most part, with a long bar and a decent outdoor seating area where patrons can bring dogs. However, the server was disengaged, rarely checking in or refilling water. The bathroom had a slight odor, detracting from the overall experience. Bacon Burger: 4.1/10 – While edible, the burger was disappointing. The patty, although offered with a choice of how to cook it, was served undercooked. quality of the burger was decent, but the dish wasn’t worth the price. The mac and cheese side, offered at an additional cost, tasted generic and felt like something easily made at home. The Grilled Cheese: 4.2/10 – This dish fell short in both presentation and taste. It looked overly basic and lacked any standout flavor. The price was far too high for what was essentially a simple, underwhelming plate that could be easily surpassed by a homemade version.

Visited for the first time this past weekend and had a great time. The owner is very personable and welcoming. There are two rooms so if you're not feeling the first room on entry, spin around and head into the room in the back. There's definitely a vibe for everyone. I had juice and was it overpriced? Yes, but the bartender was very pleasant and understanding. The afrobeats DJ was mean mugging everyone. You're playing music for entertainment and fun and you're there squeezing face like someone beat you up. Good thing I know that the DJ isn't a representative of the place or its owner.

Loved the cozy speakeasy vibe and intimate atmosphere. it’s such a cool spot to hang out. The cocktails were nice, though they didn’t quite stand out as much as I expected. Still, service was friendly and the overall experience made it worth the visit.

I came in here during a visit before a planned move to the area. The owner and bartender were really nice. Atmosphere is divish but clean. Only thing is this is essentially one of your two choices of gay bars in Raleigh, and this place didn’t open until 7 PM on Friday night. The crowd was light at that time, and with me being more conservative looking and preppy not really my scene. Would try again at a different time.

Still FIVE STARS for 10th and Terrace atop the Residence Inn on Salisbury Street in downtown Raleigh! The eastern view (enjoy sun and moon rises) and looking down on Memorial Auditorium are great! The staff is very good and the mock-tail (DD) and food were above average. We had the Short Rib Tacos and Roasted Thai Brussels (see menu). The chocolate desert special was super! Street parking and deck parking next door are easily available. See menu and photos...

Went here with coworkers on a Friday evening and the views were amazing. It’s a lowkey spot and not crowded. It’s upstairs of the hotel. Easy to find and parking across the street. The fish tacos were amazing! My coworker had the short rib tacos I believe and they loved it. I would come back in. Service was good. We did make a reservation beforehand.

The pricing was decent. However, my server didn't seem very interested in our table, which meant he missed the opportunity to sell drink upgrades and earn a generous tip. The manager ended up assisting us with our checkout and even cleared our plates. On a positive note, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We didn’t have to wait long on a Saturday night. I came here using a gift card.

My husband and I ate here on a Saturday. We walked in very shortly after they opened, so the place was completely empty. We were seated right away, and the waitress took very good care of us... Now the food; the grits were the best I have ever eaten. Truly. The fried chicken was crispy, hot, and fresh. I was able to get Texas Pete seasoning on my fries, and it was so good! I have never seen that on any menu before. After we ate, we played pool, darts, and a few arcade games that were in the game room. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back.

First…. The food…. Every bite of everything is IMMENSE pleasure! It’s Southern cooking raised to an exquisite level of perfection! I was at a private event for about 40 people upstairs with a buffet. The first thing I saw was the CORNBREAD and OMG it was thick, moist, rich, and I savored every bite. Everything on the buffet was packed with FLAVOR! Our attentive, always-smiling server was Ty, and we were so fortunate she was assigned to us! I was a co-host of the event and she knew where everything was and she communicated so well with us as well as with other staff to get whatever we needed quickly. There are stairs involved to get to the private-event area and she did not mind the countless ups and downs. Easy Public Parking is right across the street for $3 in the large parking lot of the now-closed 42nd Street Oyster Bar (to pay you have to scan the QR code on the sign at the street after you’ve parked before entering the Tobacco Road front door). There’s also limited on-the-street parking right in front of the restaurant. The next time someone says, “Where do you want to go?” I’ll say, “Tobacco Road!!!” (There’s this one in Raleigh and another one in Durham). Thanks Tobacco Road for the fabulous experience!

Overtime Sports Bar is an absolute must-visit! The laid-back atmosphere is perfect for unwinding, and the food is nothing short of amazing. Today, I decided to take on their chicken strips with the hottest sauce they could make, along with their homemade fries. By the second chicken strip, I was already breaking a sweat—and loving every bite! The perfect blend of heat and flavor showed they really know their stuff. The staff here is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always on top of their game. You can tell they genuinely care about providing a great experience. Needed somewhere close for lunch and decided to try Overtime. Place was very cool and as it was early, only a few customers. Wait staff (Aerial and Luke) were extremely pleasant and helpful. They even put a pot of coffee on just for me. The coffee was very good (loved the glass coffee cup). Food was really excellent - freshly cooked and perfectly done. Portions were generous but I ate it all. Really enjoyed our lunch and would recommend it to all that appreciate a good sports bar.

This bar gives off the exact fun dive bar energy you're looking for- however beware the prices are NOT DIVE BAR PRICES. It is 7pm Friday and we are the only people in here for that exact reason I'm sure. Be ready to pay $2 for pool games and 10$ per beer. I might be back due to the location and good vibes but you're more likely to find me at my local dive with a $3 beer and $5 shot instead. I will add that unlike the other reviews the staff was fabulous to us! But if I wanted a $15 drink I'd go to the excellent martini bar across the street over my plastic cup ranch water here.

Atmosphere was superb and the food was delicious. I had the bbq bacon burger and the ginger island drink. The drink was a little watered down though. I wish there was more food option but besides that everything about this place is amazing. It's more of a lounge vs a restaurant. It was a little difficult to find at first bc it's located inside a hotel on the 7th floor. I would definitely be back. However, parking can be a hassle.

I recently visited this restaurant and was impressed by the overall atmosphere. It was very clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe. Our waitress was friendly and provided great service. The view was beautiful, and I loved that you have the option to dine inside or enjoy the rooftop seating. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The cedar chicken salad was a little chewy, and the seasoning was quite overpowering. The chocolate torte dessert also had a strong flavor—more like thick chocolate pudding than a traditional dessert. However, the fries were tasty (though a bit salty), and the hamburger was absolutely delicious! One downside was the wait time for drink refills. It could take up to 30 minutes, depending on how many servers were available that day. Despite that, I’m definitely open to giving it a second chance. The atmosphere and some of the food were worth coming back for.

My Husband and I have been residence now for two years and backyard bistro was one of our go to’s. I must say we were reluctant to go back after the change. Tonight we came prepared for the change and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is much more open. Felt very open to new comers and upgrades call for all classes and groups of people. Previously the bar felt very unwelcoming although the staff was all lovely. It felt like it belonged to one team one family and old friends. I’m happy the prices weren’t drastically affected. The price is right the ambiance is pleasant the food is great if not better.! The chicken fingers are sooo juicy and tender and filling! The hush puppy seem to be the same but lighter not as heavy so delish! The famous brisket Mac is still great and presentation in the large round deep dish is perfect and here to stay. I’m sad there isn’t any sweet potato fries but I was pleased 😀

The atmosphere here is what you would expect for a local bar, well decorated, TVs with sports playing, pool tables and dart boards. The staff was very friendly. I did not drink however, friends did and the service was prompt. No complaints on selection and everyone enjoyed their drinks My only real issue was some of the food - not all of it. The chicken sandwiches were good, tater tots that came with it as a side were good. I got a basket of fries - nothing fancy, they were good. I think something happened with the nachos though.. I don’t know if the cook was brand new, or what. But we were essentially served tortilla chips with microwaved shredded cheese with slices jalapeños. Which honestly? The fresh Jalapeño looked really good, it was just on a kinda sad plat of chips and microwaved cheese. I would for sure suggest this place to someone who wants a drink and your usual bar food. Would not suggest the nachos that were $9 as pictured.

Sharky’s Place in Raleigh is seriously underrated! We grabbed some Texas Tots to start—absolutely delicious, crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. I had the BLT and it was loaded with super fresh bacon and ingredients—honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. Our server, French, was awesome—super friendly, on point with everything, and just made the whole experience better. We sat out on the patio and the vibe was perfect. Chill, welcoming, and just a great spot to hang. Also, major bonus—they play the Canes games, so it’s the perfect spot to catch the action with good food, drinks, and a solid crowd. I’ve been reading the negative reviews about people being mistreated, thrown in the trash, etc and they align perfectly with my experience at this establishment. My girlfriend and I were having a good time dancing and minding our own business and when she walked away to get drinks I was suddenly snatched up by 2 bouncers and dragged violently to the stairwell where I was then thrown down the metal stairs and rolled all the way to the bottom. After being dragged out to the street I was then attacked by the doorman and two other people and was punched repeatedly. I had a big laceration above my eye that required multiple stitches and will scar. My occipital bone was broken which caused blood pooling under and behind my eye which could have resulted in losing eyesight in that eye if doctors didn’t catch i in time. I am covered in bruises and cuts from falling down the stairs and being attacked. I spent the entire night at Duke Raleigh and Duke University Hospital being treated and under observation. Meanwhile our dog remained locked in a crate in our Airbnb without food and water and unable to use the bathroom. We also missed checkout time at our Airbnb and had to pay for an extra nights stay. My girlfriend had to call out of work because we wouldn’t have made it back home in time, so now she will face disciplinary action. My work responsibilities will also be impacted due to the fact that my face is so swollen, I have a black eye and stitches sticking out of my brow. The owner or manager had the audacity to come out of the club and tell tell the police that this was all justified and that I wasn’t mistreated. A lot of pain and suffering was caused because this club prioritizes its pride and ego over the safety of its patrons. This seems to be a pattern for this establishment, a sort of “shoot first ask questions” approach.

Came in to watch football with my family on a Sunday. 1/3 of the TVs has really awful music videos on. Bartender who put our order in decided to smoke a bowl and leave before our order came out. The food took an hour and my brother’s food was missing (never put in). The next bartender who was taking over for her called my brother a liar when we confronted about the food mistake. He was very unapologetic about how awful our experience was. Place and staff was a total joke. Plenty of other spots in town to get actual service at.

Terminal 8 Bar & Lounge Nightclub is one of Raleigh's best hidden gems. This trendy Latin Nightclub is spacious, tastefully decorated, well ventilated and serves some of the most delicious cocktails in town. I'd compare it in quality of drinks and decor to another favorite of mine, C. Grace, Jazz Club but you can dance here. It has a beautiful bar, outdoor heated patio and spacious VIP sections. The owner, Pierre Casapia is obviously very detail-oriented and has a lot of pride in his place. You will find him usually checking-in on his customers or looking after some other detail. I found him last night in the men's room making sure they were clean and well supplied. You just don't see this attention to detail anymore. Unlike other night clubs which basically serve a plastic cup filled with ice chips and weak, evaporated alcohol, Terminal 8 bartenders serve your cocktail in a glass with the proper ice for your drink. I ordered an Old Fashioned and a Negroni which were served in proper cocktail glasses with one large cube of ice and attractive fruit garnish. I wish I had asked my bartender for his name so that I may recommend him but all I can say is that he was the head bartender. Although a bit pricey at $14/ drink, it was worth it because they used quality alcohol they didn't skimp on. I thoroughly enjoyed my New Year's Eve celebration with my friends in this beautiful place. This is a sophisticated place you dress up for to dance the night away. The sound system is exceptional and there is a large stage for live music which I think would be a great place for a private function. I throughly recommend Terminal 8 as one of the best if not the best Latin Nightclub in Raleigh.

The owner, I believe her name is Vanessa (I'm not certain) but the skinny AA lady. She definitely has a nasty disposition about her. I was sitting on the patio amdnwas preparing to leave. The back entrance was roped off so I asked if I could leave that way... She rolled her eyes amd waved her hand as of yes girl..leave. I looked atbher and asked what's up with the nasty attitude? She turned her head and I just left. I went on taco Tuesday, the tacos are street sized and only options were beef and chicken although the flyer read vegan options would be available. I definitely will not be returning to this place!

This place gets a three solely because of the server service 🙄. We didn't get as much assistance as I hoped. I needed refills and sauces with my fish, but about the time the waiter brought it back to us, our food was cold. The waitress also had an attitude 😒. Overall, the food was good.

I used to like to come here often, but the last three times I came to get some food. My food was either not cooked all the way or I ordered something and they made me wait for 30 minutes to tell me they did not have it. I believe that the waitress do a pretty good job for overall the atmosphere is always gloomy and the service far as food is a hit or miss mostly miss. I don’t believe in leaving bad reviews but when you can’t get it right three times then that is called a strikeout! I remind the waitress twice, I would like the wings to be well done.

If you’re ever at The Avenue in Raleigh, you have to grab a drink from Molly! She’s easily one of the best bartenders I’ve ever come across — hardworking, experienced, and lightning-fast behind the bar. No matter how busy it gets, she somehow remembers everyone’s order and makes you feel like a priority. On top of that, she’s incredibly friendly, beautiful, and has an amazing energy that makes the whole atmosphere even better. Molly is the kind of bartender who keeps people coming back. Highly recommend stopping by and seeing her in action!

No prices listed for anything..you have no idea what they’re charging you, so the whole bill is questionable!! Ordered a Long Island and barely a splash of alcohol in it. Shots were a quarter of the size they should be. Music was bad. Atmosphere was bad. Went there at 8pm and at 10pm they started a silent disco…$20 for a headset!?! Maybe 2 people in there besides the group I was with.

If you’re in Raleigh and want the best bartender in town, look no further than Maria. She’s not only quick and efficient behind the bar but also has an incredible way of making every guest feel welcome. Her cocktails are always on point — balanced, creative, and made with care — but what really sets her apart is her personality. Maria remembers names, favorite drinks, and always has a smile that makes the whole atmosphere brighter. Even on the busiest nights, she keeps the energy fun and positive, while making sure everyone is taken care of. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction.

NEVER IN MY LIFE has it happened that security forced me to chug the beer I had just bought. The DJ announced at 1:50 a.m. that the bar would close at 2 a.m. I bought a beer at 1:57 a.m., and at 2:03 a.m. security told me to finish it quickly because no one could drink alcohol after 2:00 a.m. It makes no sense at all—terrible service and an awful experience. The place itself put me at risk of having a problem with security even though they were the ones selling alcohol right up to the cutoff time. Unbelievable, very bad venue. I honestly wished the security guard would hurt me so I could file an amazing lawsuit and shut that filthy warehouse down. One star only because I can’t give zero…

We have enjoyed legends in the past but are going to rethink going in the future. After waiting in a very long line, my wife was told her bag was too large and she couldn’t come in. She was carrying a normal size purse, mind you that was nearly empty, and the lady refused to let us in. We’ve gone many times before with her carrying the same bag and had no issues. Not two seconds after we walk away, we see two girls carrying TWO huge tote bags walk out. We snagged a photo and showed the woman at the door, confused they those girls were allowed in. Her response “guess we missed seeing their bags earlier.” Like ma’am I’m sorry that my wife and I present very femme and straight-looking and our aesthetic didn’t match your vibe, but refusing to let us in for no actual reason is WILD. I am all about safety so totally understand having a bag size rule, but 1. You need to enforce it to everyone, not who you hand select and 2. after leaving we checked the website and then measured my wife’s purse and it is within the allowable size of bags allowed. This was going to be our last stop for Pride and we had a massive group of friends coming to meet us who we told to go elsewhere instead. This really ruined the mood for our Pride weekend. We’re disappointed legends.

Okay honestly never had a better experience. I never write reviews, but this one deserve it. Being from Louisiana and coming to Still Life for a good night was definitely worth it! A HUGE THANK YOU to Justin, the manager, for being so great to me & my guest. We accidentally went to the wrong bar and paid a cover, so he covered our charges getting in. He was so helpful and kind to us the entire night. Even when we had to step outside to take a breathe of fresh air, he allowed us to skip the line to check out the roof bar. Definitely a manager to go above and beyond for his customers. 10/10 recommendation for anyone trying to enjoy a night out.

Best night I've had in a while. We did run into some issues with someone in our group not being dressed properly (he was wearing joggers), but we simply weren't aware. We were able to work it out in the end and get my friend a change of clothes. I'm glad we did as we all enjoyed our time here. This place has awesome drinks, music, and a high energy vibe. Will definitely be back. Edit to add: As for everyone getting upset over the dress code.. Whether or not you agree or understand, it's there for a reason. I think the dress code makes the place even better.

50$ a dance is insanity, 50$ could get me a full steak meal from an upscale restaurant. I understand they have to make thier money but 50$ for a dance? really ? you can literally go to any club in raleigh and get normal girls to dance on you for free 🆓 mannnn on the bright side the girls are hot at least

Probably the best club in Raleigh. The have a lot of staff members considering how big the club is. But all the staff from bouncers, floor guys, waitresses/bartenders, etc. are all great they definitely look out for you. There are also plethora of dancers especially on the weekends. They have a couple of dance stages and variety of dance options if you want one. Also if you want to chill and play pool they also have a room for that. I’ll definitely come back here when I’m in Raleigh.

$20 cover seems fair since they have dancers and bartenders don’t take tips, gets a little crowded and a lot of 18-21 crowd, besides some guy throwing up everywhere in the bathroom and the puddles of spilled drinks all over the club it’s a decent environment

E.R. WELL & Plumbing, Services53 months ago

$20 a head-(Male & Female) Big spot- but Definitely gets very crowded after 1am. There wasn’t any fights, and any shootings which is always a plus. From What I seen-I didn’t see many security guards-(or they blended in very well because they don’t have a neon color shirt to tell where they’re at) - “NO SECURITY” in the bathroom or outside the bathroom- (me personally-I think that’s an “L”) And lastly- I would say, that I wish that they added more alcohol to their drinks-(but that could just be the bartender)-(Orange & Capital Morgan-$12 each).

First off $20 and cash only to get in is ridiculous. The girl at the door has an attitude and looks like she hates you when you walk in. The other girl patting you down was polite and smiled though. The bartenders really need to be fired. They never make good drinks and always look angry. The bathrooms are so disgusting and smell like sewage. You see the same old tired wore out drag queens over and over that think they run the club. The DJ always plays slow depressing music that nobody likes. ALSO CHARGING $20 TO GET IN YOU SHOULD HAVE BETTER AIR CONDITIONING.

Dont Waste your time or money here I recently went to the "Trey Songz" concert if thats what you want to call it. First thing is they open the doors at 9:00 pm. If you dont spend extra money on VIP or reserving a table there is no where for you to sit so you basically have to stand the entire night. Bartenders were nice, staff was rude af. Every one started lining up to the stage around 10 the host basically kept saying Trey songs was in route and he was 5 mins away. Trey didn't get there till 2:00 am and only performed for like 15 mins. It was hot af, a girl was about to pass out and staff literally kept walking by her. But let some one even get close to a VIP booth and they literally come over yelling. One girl set on the steps by a vip booth because she was tired of standing and they made her get up. Sorry excuse for a club, I will never go back and when I wrote a fb message they didn't even reply back. They are over priced for no reason I spent 50.00 just to stand around. THEY SUCK

I was kicked out of Alchemy after someone intentionally threw beer on me. When I tossed my water back, I was immediately told to leave the club instead of being heard or understood. If anyone could see me throw water, they could also see that beer had been thrown on me first. The security guard physically grabbed me and escorted me out, even though I remained calm and tried to explain what happened. I did not show any anger and did not touch anyone. This is completely unacceptable. No one should be subjected to being handled like that. I understand being asked to leave if necessary, but I should never be physically touched for something I did not do. I was sober and simply trying to enjoy my night. I will be pursuing this fully, and based on my experience, I would not recommend coming here if you are concerned about being treated this way. Here’s a picture of the security guard who decided to put his hands on me for whatever reason.

Tristan Payton1a week ago

Big dumb security guard claims there is a dress code based solely on shoes but it’s not clearly posted anywhere and generally when you look it up online it says there’s isn’t a strict dress code. They should really keep up with who they are hiring and how informed they are.
