This has quickly became my favorite bar in town. I've tried almost every drink on the menu, and all of them is excellent. We've also had an old fashioned and margarita, both excellent. If you think you don't like old fashioneds, try it here (I've always hated them, but clearly I just never had a good one). The servers and bartenders are excellent. Check their facebook page for events, they do so many fun things!

Oscar's was suggested to us while visiting as we had been to Thomas's in Mandan, which we loved (same owner). Definitely my new favorite spot in Bismarck. Loved the atmosphere, the service was great and the drinks were all delicious. The Espresso Martini was the best I've ever had.

This place is such a fun and vibey place to hangout with all your friends! So many good photo opportunity spots! They have amazing drinks and also have a very large selection of alcohol free drinks that are so delicious!!! The staff is all so wonderful and friendly.

Ah, wow. From the moment you step foot into shakers, it’s as if you’re transported to a whole new place. You’re greeted by a warm, welcoming staff; who seemingly are eager to say hello, which is refreshing as it didn’t appear to be a chore for them. (Even if it is, they did a great job making you feel invited!) The entire restaurant is such a modern, current vibe, that it truly is hard to believe this gem is located in Bismarck, North Dakota and not a hidden amongst a city. From the decor, the ample seating options from outside next to a warm fire-place, to sitting on a balcony enjoying the vibes below. Inside and out, there’s a vibe for everyone. Their drink menu is not only articulate, but unique and different; which just adds to the characteristic charm of this place, in my eyes. There’s truly a drink for everyone; which is also a win in my eyes. Can we also please talk about that perfectly curated playlist? Incredible. There was not a single song I did not recognize.. I couldn’t help but jam out to each banger as they played back to back. It was so nice. Not only that, but it was a wide variety of music. From early 2000’s pop, rock, metal, reggae, they had everything we totally used to listen to back in the day. Which was nostalgic. This place feels safe, warm, and a place I’d recommend to anyone. The decor in the bathroom?! To die for. Love the walls, the portraits and the super cute station full of goodies?! An absolute win. From all basic women hygiene products, to lotion, sunscreen, feel good essential oil spray, to mints to freshen your breath; this place has it all. It is a gem, a vibe, and a place I could see myself returning quickly to. I will be so saddened the day winter hits, as then it’ll hit me for sure that we are in Bismarck, not a fun, warm city. (Lol) If only summer could last forever!

This was FUN. It took just a little bit of looking to find where we were going, but that's the whole point. It was small, dark, and cozy inside, just like a speakeasy should be. Our server didn't know much about liquor or the drinks, but he wasn't afraid to ask the bartenders for clarification (who where totally great). Our drinks were amazing. I had a Corpse Reviver #2 - my first absinthe drink - and it was spectacular. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Bismarck.

My boyfriend and I were staying the night in bismarck on our way home from a road trip! We found this place to check out as we both love quality cocktails and speak easy vibes. it was immaculate; the slight challenge to find the entrance, the decor, the music, everything! Piper helped us that evening. she was very knowledgeable and made the experience personal & comfortable. i asked for a suggestion on my second drink and was met with a delicious unique cocktail that my boyfriend and I both loved! Overall would recommend to anyone who appreciates a quality drink & atmosphere. (the menu asks to take minimal pictures but i just had to steal this one for the memory.)

Irish bar near the downtown of Bismarck. Great easy choice to get food or drinks for lunch or dinner. They have lots of seating, a bar and friendly staff. We visited in between lunch and dinner so it wasn’t too busy. They had Guinness on draft and lots of classic Irish dishes. We chose the Sheppard pie and it was great. I would love to come back and try more food on the menu.

Never had a bad experience here! Great food, pleasant atmosphere. I love the brunch, especially! I want the baked beans recipe! When it’s nice outside, it’s wonderful to sit in the open patio area.

Really cool place with creative atmosphere and drinks that had to have been designed by a mixologist. Absolutely delicious. Great experience would highly recommend.

LÜFT Rooftop Bar is a really cool place! The atmosphere is awesome and the drinks are good! Service is very friendly as well. I always have to stop here when Im in Bismarck. I highly recommend stopping here. Great place to meet up with friends and have a drink.

Service was great. Pizza has a thin crust. Could have used a little more sauce. We probably should have ordered sandwiches because they look awesome on the menu. Great sports bar atmosphere-TV’s, darts, pool tables, Blackjack, slot machines, pull tabs, free popcorn, and background music. Parking lot was convenient.

I have never had the food. But the environment is perfect for a chill hang out spot with pool, darts, and a patio. The lighting on the patio and the fact that it is heated and covered, perfect for winter.

Great bar with $2 taps til 7pm. Definitely stop by and get a very cold beer.

Food was excellent tonight. We come here occasionally for lunch and are always impressed with the food and cleanliness of the space. Burgers were a perfect medium, food was incredibly hot when delivered. Compliments to Chef Theron!

Delicious food with great specials throughout the week. Tons of liquor choices to make your custom cocktail from bar rail to high end tequilas, bourbons, and whiskey. Definitely worth the stop!

The drinks were on point..... BUT If you are not the right demographic the service will not be great.

Love this place makes you feel relaxed the lady that is the bartender is always making sure you have what you need and is very nice . I recommend that you stop in there and check it out you won't be disappointed.

My friend and I were greeted as soon as we walked in the door by the bartender Matt. We sat at the bar as we are from Canada and wanted to get a feel for the place. Let me just say, he is an exceptional bartender. He was chatting with everyone and staying on top of everyone's drink orders. The Tavern was filled with great energy, great people and great staff. Not only that, but they had karaoke, and it was lots of fun listening to everyone sing their hearts out. 10/10 will recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back soon!

Went a few weeks back and had an amazing bartender. She was welcoming and gave fantastic service. So we decided to come back two more times. If you aren't a regular, you will get stares and very delayed service. No greetings, no anything. The bartender will just look annoyed and hand you the beer and then pretend like you don't exist again. Outside the terrible service, the bar is fun. Darts, pool, etc.. just don't feel welcome at all. Just don't dare go here if you are not a regular.

Their claim to fame is Bismarck’s oldest dive bar. We came in for the Burger Slam. Our server Abby was fantastic. She suggested the wings, we got them, they are incredible. The burger, the Roundhouse Kick, a 1/3 lb burger topped with cream cheese, jalapeños and bacon, raspberry jalepeno sauce and candied jalapenos. The bacon on the burger is thick and crispy, excellent! The burger was not too spicy, the right amount of kick. This was one of our favorite burgers of the burger slam. There is gambling, pool table, many big screen TVs.

My friends and I loved the Elbow room. Atmosphere was good was a little crowded but it was good. The security was awesome they checked outside and were quick to jump in and do the job. Clear everyone out safely but firm about it. Will definatly come back
