The revamp is gorgeous! The drinks and mocktails are delicious, and the food is so good after a few. Plus the shows!! Stuff you'll never see on other drag main stages. This place is what we needed.
Such a cute place, love the set up and decorations!! Definitely will recommend to anyone looking for a fun night thats different than your typical bar experience!
Food is so good, came out fast and hot! We ate it too fast to be able to take a picture.
Great place! Food is amazing, service is top notch and it’s all good vibes. Feels like a place where everyone knows your name. I
This place is TOP-NOTCH. Ken is so welcoming! He makes you feel like family ❤️ The food is amazing, the atmosphere is so chill and relaxed and THE MUSIC - I can't say enough about the music! I appreciate the mature crowd as well. I can't believe we came upon this place while riding our bicycles, and just decided to check it out. Now we are repeat customers. SCORE!!
This is not your typical bar, this is a chill vibe bar. Food and drinks are amazing, along with live music and karaoke events. The bar gives you the no judgment chill type vibe. Demographics are very wide and welcomed.
Excellent brewery!!! So happy we stopped here. Amazing, huge selection of their beers. They will can anything on tap as well as they have plenty have cans to go. They played spectacular music! Atmosphere was top notch! Love repurposed old buildings. The food was amazing! Get the pretzels & beer cheese, you won’t be disappointed!
We tried out the recently revamped menu tonight, and the entire family enjoyed everything. We usually get at least two orders of the pub pretzels with beer cheese dip 🤤. And tried a variety of build your own bowls. Great variety of meat, vegetarian, or gluten-free options. And everything so fresh tasting. The IPAs, local kombucha, and non-alcoholic options are fantastic 😍
Only popcorn... as far as food. Drinks are good. The line dancing is out of this world. The DJ is top-notch... and Melanie Kempton, the line dance teacher, is definitely the best line dance teacher I and my friends have ever met. Melanie not only makes newcomers happy and comfortable, she keeps the experienced dancers up to par. It was such a fun evening. We are looking forward to next Wednesday
Great pizza! Richie took care of me well, too! Pool and games, various fun times like line dancing and good drink specials!
10/10 experience every time I come out to the Switchboard. Excited to come out and watch all the Detroit Lions games & enjoy drinks with friends in the fall!! The outdoor seating area is really spacious with a lot of live music. The art gallery section attached to the bar is also a fun lil twist and a great photo op! Definitely an underrated bar in our city that deserves more hype. BRB Run Club stopped by on our 4 mile night run & Switchboard was the perfect vibe for our high energy group!
Very chill bartender and reasonably priced drinks with a good selection. Big TV and relaxed crowd with live music every once in a while. Doesn't serve food here which is ok. There's also a gas station around the corner which takes 5 minutes to walk there if you need cigarettes.
I walked in for five minutes to say hello to my friend who was getting ready to do some techno there. I was amazed at how cool it was in there. Walls have tons of music posters and framed pics and there is a 2nd story with couches and pool table. The vibe there is so chill and just so neat looking inside. Had a dark dim setting with bar and floor to dance if you wanted. I have driven past this place 100 times at least and always wondered what it was. Now i am hip to it and WILL be coming back in the near future to support a musically talented friend. Overall Just check it out it’s sweet guys.
The Best And only Grateful Dead Themed venue in the region! A Grate place to see live music with the best regional and local upcoming talent around. And the patio in the Summer is the spot to be!!
This place gives me West Coast vibes!! I don't live in this state, but I didn't feel like I was in Toledo. The signature and custom drinks were amazing. They had a Christmas theme, and they didn't over do it. It's a bar/lounge/cozy place to enjoy some drinks. The basement looked cool, and I wish we sat down there. Overall, this place deserves recognition. Enjoy
I love this place. The food has been decidedly Asian lately which I think they went a little too 'all in' on but it's good stuff. The drinks are where it really shines. They're so good. And served by great staff in a hip setting. I like to sit on the couch if I can, and relax with a few drinks.
🌟 Must Visit!! 🌟 Great Food, Drinks and Staff! 🌟 Wild Side is the perfect downtown Toledo spot when you’re craving great pizza and a fun bar vibe. Its prime location makes it ideal for meeting up with friends or grabbing a casual bite before catching a game or show. We’ve visited on several occasions and have loved each experience. The menu is packed with so many tempting options, it’s honestly tough to choose but no matter what we order, the food always comes out hot, fresh, and delicious. The pizzas are top-notch, and the variety ensures there’s something for everyone. We LOVE the bruschetta, wings and Chicken Greek pizza! The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, adding to the laid-back, upbeat atmosphere. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite, a leisurely meal, or drinks at the bar, Wild Side never disappoints. A definite go-to spot in Toledo!
Stopped in Wild Side Downtown for dinner and a drink before the Mudhens game. Chose to set outside and was seated quickly. Appearantly understaffed, our server did an amazing job hopping table to table. We ordered a couple pizzas and they were an outstanding hybrid between Chicago deep dish and standard pizza. Strolled inside for a couple of pics and the bar looked spacious with a few TVs with a bit of a casual, contemporary, and trendy atmosphere vibe. There is an arcade room accross the hall loaded with games. The place was clean however the mens bathroom needed attention.
Georgjz419 is truly the best gay bar in the US. The staff (and owner) are the kindest, sweetest people. The drinks are unbelievably fairly priced and the atmosphere is like a gay Cheers. You cannot miss this stop in Ohio- all gay bars should be like Georgz. It's a destination for us - we travel 8 hours just to visit!
Servers are TOP NOTCH, and the atmosphere is INCREDIBLE!! George is the best!!! 🥰🥰🥰 Friendly, and SAFE atmosphere, and very accepting, safe-space environment, non-judgemental, and always fun!!
We were struggling to find a place that was open and serving food after 5pm. We walked past and noticed they were open. They make pizzas here, so we ordered one. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, they recommended we get the chicken alfredo pizza... Chat, it was delicious. If you're in the area looking for some good company or a place to get drinks I highly recommend stopping in. It's a little loud in there, but it's a bar so it's kinda expected. Don't forget to try the alfredo pizza!
We weren't sure what to expect everything was closed and we were hungry we went in and were immediately helped they gave us recommendations for what to eat and we were not disappointed we got the chicken Alfredo pizza and it was worth it I would recommend anyone to go there I didn't drink but the prices for the drinks were very affordable from what I saw. it has a club like vibe going on with the low lights and loud music but I don't regret going
Such a cool little place in Downtown Toledo. We've been here a few times and enjoy the Speakeasy vibe. Jordan is a great Bartender, and makes an excellent Dirty Martini. Tip: go during happy hour for $5 off Wine and Martinis.
I wish this place was located where I actually live - super cute and everything we had was delicious! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and our Orange Mocha Latte and Chai After Dark were great. Highly recommend.
Sports-bar chain known for its waitresses, serving American comfort food in lodgelike surroundings.
I had a great time at this location! My steak was great and my husband loved his wings. I got the sirloin stake and he got the hot honey naked + Nashville breaded hot wings. We had great very attentive servers autumn & serena ! Food Was also a good price/value.
I love this place and have been going for many years. The food is always great, the beer- coldest beer you can find. I like to mix the pineapple and blonde together! My absolute fave. My fave app was removed from the menu, so now I just get boneless wings and put em on loaded fries with blue cheese = amazing. Also, the celery is banging, odd comment, but it's great. Never a piece left from me🤷♀️
This is a cool local small restaurant. It has good vibes and a very limited menu. We both ordered roast beef and neither one of us really cared for the taste. The nachos had some interesting toppings but overall where the star of the show. I originally wanted the Reuben but they were sold out. I think I would try this place again and just stay away from the roast beef. It wasn't bad by any means it just wasn't my cup of tea. The owner was very friendly as well.
The atmosphere is amazing. Updated yet still a bit old school. I think it's from all the wood they used. The staff is amazing! And the menu .... Good luck choosing your meal as there are SOOOOO many great choices. And the drink i posted, Jameson with a pickleback .. A SINGLE. Also, the owner is a hands on, have always seen him on the floor. The music is also great. Not too loud but just perfect so that you can talk over your table.
Had a much needed night out to blow off a lil steam. And it was a great experience. Would really like to give a shout out to my waitress Serenity. She was very attentive and fun. From drink orders to getting me singles to make it rain. Highly recommend the experience.
Stunning ladies, exceptional staff, mouthwatering food, and an unforgettable atmosphere – a truly incredible experience!🎉
The girls are beautiful and super sweet. Dj Wayne is phenomenal playing a wide variety of music keeping the energy high and welcoming. You have to come see for yourself!
Came in a couple time last week and really enjoyed myself! Can miss out on $2 Tuesdays! Good drinks and the ladies put on a show! Will definitely start making my way over her more often as it will be a weekly destination for me and coworkers!
Good local bar! I enjoyed hearing metal core music for once at a bar! Bring me the Horizon was playing as soon as we walked in. We were able to get drinks easily and talked to some other people at the place. My male friend said the men's restroom smelled of urine and the stall had no door. Great experience overall!
The vibes were great, giant disco ball for the win! If you are a millennial, you'll know almost every song you hear overhead in the best way. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Definitely recommend for a fun night out!
Very Nice & clean place Big Dance Floor & atmosphere. Great Drinks & Bartenders. Will go back
Love this place. I know I'm always safe when I'm here. One of my go to places for a night out.
Rustic upstairs pub with pool tables & arcade games, plus a glass-enclosed balcony & sandwiches.
Walk upstairs and you'll know your going to the attic. Good atmosphere, friendly service and patrons. I think you are encouraged to graffiti inside.
This is a spot my friends and I have frequented and loved for years, and I’m writing this review to share some recent observations and feedback. The food is great, the drinks are amazing, and the staff—especially Cory—have always been warm and welcoming. However, I’ve noticed a recurring pattern with one of the bartenders, William, that I feel compelled to address. On several occasions, I’ve observed William selectively asking Black patrons for ID while not requesting the same from white patrons. This has happened to me, my friends, and other Black individuals—and only when ordering from William. To be clear, I fully support ID checks to ensure compliance with legal drinking laws. What’s concerning is the inconsistency—and the implication that race might be playing a role in who gets carded. If ID checks are necessary, they should be applied fairly and consistently across all patrons. As much as I’ve enjoyed this place over the years, I don’t feel comfortable supporting an establishment that appears to judge or treat patrons differently based on race. I hope management will take this seriously and work to ensure that all guests are treated with fairness and respect. Thank you kindly.
One of the best kept secrets in Toledo. Charm, talent, atmosphere and a very welcoming staff make this a go-to for live jazz and blues music.
Haven't seen music this intimate since Rusty's. Phenomenal staff and very welcoming. Drinks were proper and reasonable.
The atmosphere is awesome. One of those mom and pop bars that ends up making you a regular.
Good food, great people. If your biker people it's the place to be.
Laid-back neighborhood haunt offering a sizable beer menu, old-school arcade games & a patio.
If you want a fun musical Thursday Night out join in with open mic night! The variety of musicians and singers was great. Full bar and hard working bartenders will be sure to serve you quickly with a smile!
A great local hangout place! Friendly Bartenders, great drink selection, and a fun place to gather with friends or make new ones! A place where there is broad diversity, yet everyone is kind and respectful. They also have a Great patio , which has awesome live weekend music throughout the year, weather permitting. Thursday is open mic night inside. I enjoy that they always keep some local and craft beer on tap. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a outgoing, yet not hectic environment for a place to fit in and enjoy the company of others while enjoying a refreshing drink after a long day.
Irish-style hangout, serving creative pub fare & lots of brews, plus music Thursday-Saturday.
Went here before Monster Jam at Huntington centre on St.Patricks weekend and it was the best place to stop to start our day. Our server was Kristen S and she was fantastic. Told her we were from Ontario for the days events and she made us feel welcomed and had real conversation with us. Explained the menu items in detail with her recommendations. Went with the fish n chips and even though every place usually has that on their menu for an Irish establishment, it was down right excellent. She took good care of us and had the extra time because the crowds were not coming in at our early arrival, before our 1pm event. Place is well decorated not just for St.Patricks weekend but great decor through out. Lots of space with outdoor covered patio and clean bathrooms. Great location and easy access to surrounding areas.
Went in for a fine Irish meal after a training session for work. Was greeted by a friendly waitress and served a cold Guinness draft. Food was great and finished it off with a baseball game next door. 2 thumbs up!
How is it I missed this place for years living only a few blocks away? Glad I finally stopped in. Great bar menu with a decent amount of choices. I went with a BLT and fries. Couldn't have asked for better. Perfectly cooked, generous helping of bacon, with fresh tomato, and crispy lettuce. Nicely cooked fries with just the right amount of salt. The bartender makes a fantastic whiskey sour too.Juke box kicked out Slayer,Iron Maiden, Grandmaster Flash, and The Cult so cheers to the fellow diners and drinkers for good song choices. Looking forward to warmer weather so I can leave the car home and dropping by for a meal and maybe an extra drink or two.
Local bar with a great atmosphere and a Black and Bleu Burger that's simply fantastic! One evening I was asked to play Euchre and even though we lost because of me, I had so much fun! Don't forget to try their delicious hot dogs 😋
Traditional tavern in an 1867 building with an extensive menu of creative burgers.
Food was top notch. My husband got a chef special cheese steak with fries and I got chicken salad sandwich on croissant with Brussels sprouts and we shared a beer. There was plenty to take with us for later! Fantastic service! Loved the atmosphere. Really cool building, clean and historic. We will definitely come back if we ever drive through Toledo again.
The food taste great and is nice and hot and full of flavor. The service was kind and calm while taking there time but getting their job done. They were playing some broke heart music so it wasn't so upbeat but after a bit it was changed. (Food photo is a meatball sub)
Breakfast, gourmet burgers & an extensive beer list in an unassuming sports bar.
A good friend of mine and I swung by after the Maumee Film Festival to end the evening. Its a good place to go to near uptown (especially if you don’t want to deal with the traffic/parking of uptown). Ambiance reminded me of a bar near home, but this place was more delightful and spacious. They have a NICE pool table (free pool and Sundays and Mondays too!) The bartender who served us was good. I ordered the Bourbon Pulled Pork (Under Doc Specialty). I was surprised to be honest, I didn’t expect the portion to be THIS big?! I had to use both hands- I used the fries to eat what dropped out. The sauce was better than the food truck we stopped at earlier in the day during intermission. If you haven’t eaten much during the day and want something to pair well with a beer, this would be it! Thank you Doc Watson’s!
The ribs was the best I ever had fish was a little greasy inside need to cook it with hot oil the steak 🥩 was a little chewy onion rings were great 👍 fried pickles was excellent to I would go back again and give it a second chance
Lively alternative music & DJ club offering a full bar, plus a small patio & pizza kitchen in back.
I couldn't love the Ottawa Tavern any more than I already do. I've attended shows here, I've promoted shows here through the NWO Metal Militia, and I've stopped in just for a burger and a beer. I've never experienced anything less than a great time in this building. If you're looking for a comfortable, laid-back evening of dinner and drinks or maybe some entertainment, look no further. The Ottawa Tavern can meet and exceed your expectations on every level! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
First time here for Bane and perfect venue for small shows! Every employee was fantastic, super clean bathrooms, parking was easy, security was great, solid atmosphere
Great neighborhood bar. Excellent prices, has jukebox, billiard table, darts, patio. Nice clientele when we were there. Didn’t eat anything. All 4 of us were there for the first time and would definitely go back!
We just stopped in for a few drinks. Bartender and other guests were very friendly. Had a good time and got to play Keno.
Food review: The Garlic Parmesan wedges were delicious to pair with "The Nextdoor" Sandwich (that is huge)! The loaded nachos did not disappoint :) You will definitely need to try the pepperoni egg rolls to top your night off!! Cute little bar with darts, great food, and atmosphere
Cool little spot mostly locals. Lots of TVs the food is really really good. They have board games for you to play. 5$ boneless chunks on Thursdays. Smashburger was good as well. patties aren't thin at all but the burger was good overall very good value. Bartender was very helpful and friendly and just made our experience all that much better. We will be coming back they have a whole page of pizzas I want to try. Update pizza is great and it has crispy pepperoni.
Great Local bar with stiff drinks and solid food. Great dive atmosphere with friendly people and staff. Roll some dice for $1 a roll to win big money! They offer a covered somewhat heated patio for the smokers. The Club is 🔥
John's is a nice neighborhood bar that is clean and has no problems. It is an enjoyable place to have a few beers with friends at a reasonable price.
Met up with a dear old friend for a couple games of darts, had a fantastic time, and the bartender was very pleasant along with the other patrons.
Any day other than bike night is great...lovely staff great people good food good times good music... Most of the bikers are cool ...just a couple of egos that can ruin your night
Maria (bartender) was very friendly and relatable. The atmosphere and the other patrons were very welcoming. 10/10 will visit again!
Triple Crown is a friendly hometown bar with a great jukebox, occasional live music, and a pool table. The drink selection is basic but the bartenders are friendly and efficient. It's surprisingly clean for a local dive.
Only a bar. On Mondays free food that a customer always brings in. No set menu. Bar said is o. It serving you
I've been going to this bar for years now & it's never a bad experience. No drama, clean, great service & friendly faces!
The staff is friendly and very nice. The service was very good. The place itself needs to be cleaned, and the menus were wet and sticky. The ceiling fan was very dirty and needed to be cleaned. The place smelled like cigarette smoke because they had a smoking lounge attached to the main dining area. The beer was cold and delicious, but the food was mediocre and tasted like the fryer had old oil in it. The burgers were good but they are only cooked well done. The wings were expensive as you only got 6 for 13 dollars. The fries were greasy, and the tots were crispy. The French onion soup was actually really good. Overall, it's typical bar food that goes well with a drink. The manager was very nice and courteous and asked about our experience. If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends, it's a good place to go. You can also play the lottery here and the jukebox. They have a pool table, but it is in the smoking lounge. The lounge needs better ventilation to be more tolerable for non-smoking patrons. They also have tvs to watch the games if that's your thing.
I see I have to start leaving a review EVERY TIME my husband and I come in here. I do not know what is going on in that kitchen recently. But I know it is irritating my absolute soul. My husband and I are regular takeout there. The money we spend there. I will not stand for poor quality. Especially when I know what it is supposed to be. I paid for extra veggies. I got onions and some tomatoes. Where are my cucumbers and Mark barely had any fries. Which he said wasn't a big deal. Because they sucked. My fried pickles are mushy as hell. I have issues with certain textures and that is definitely one of them 😞 $50 spent and very disappointed with the food. I promise for now on I am leaving a review after every visit. I believe in being fair. My husband and I have been going to this place for awhile now. Find it very disappointing when you know how good the food actually is and end up paying for something else is all I am saying.
Me and my husband went here on Saturday 6/8/25 when we were out for a weekend just to spend time together. Then he shared with me that he had never been to a strip club before. We picked a good one to go to. The girls were so sweet. We got to talk to one of the girls and my husband got a private dance that he had to make sure I was part of. Thank you for making his first time in one memorable. It was a really good time. And the girl who talked to us knows who she is. Thank you for being so great. Your awesome.
Incredible atmosphere, staff and dancers. Best spot in toledo/southern Michigan area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a positive experience. If you just wamt to stop in during the day for some drinks, Tamara definitely has the best day shift anywhere.
A beer was $5 then I saw the cashier put $4 in the register and took a dollar and put it in his tip jar so I guess he just made me tip him never again
Cute place. Good music. Lots of fights though.
Local hangout, founded in 1965, with over 60 beers on tap, sports on TV, karaoke & trivia nights.
Great place for food, drinks and pool tables. Huge menu with top notch bar food and meals. Espresso martini was perfectly mixed.
Good food and a fun menu! The taco spring rolls were absolutely delicious, and I had a chili dog that was really good (even though I made a bit of a mess eating it 😅). They even have NA beer, which was a nice surprise. We came around 2–3pm and there was no wait, so it was the perfect time to stop in. Great spot overall!
For a dive bar, this is a lovely little place with standard drinks, a lot of good local options with alcohol coming from local breweries and local distilleries. The service there is outstanding and the mix of people is a little bit eclectic and changing day by day. I will definitely be coming back again. The drinks are inexpensive and delicious. It makes for a great option at the end of the day.
Great dive bar! Friendly service, staff and patrons. Good selection of brews and booze too.
Burgers, pizza & beer served alongside many large-screen TVs showing sports & music videos.
We stopped here on our way back home and it was incredible. Haley was our server and she was amazing! Always made sure our drinks were full, super sweet and attentive. All of our food was amazing. I definitely recommend the BBQ Chicken pizza and the garlic knots🤤. We will definitely be back!
Food was great Pam was great she came out to table and talked to us made sure everything was good. She really went above and beyond. Can't wait to come back and try more items.
Delicious cheeseburger in a great atmosphere. This place really goes in for the Miami Dolphins; so if you like that team it's the place for you. Lots of TVs to watch sports. The waitress was right on top of things. I would definitely come back.
We had a large party so we purchased the ‘cater’ type deal. It was awesome. Lots of sandwich options and sides. Our waitress, Traci, was great. She did an awesome job of making sure our kids were well taken care of as well as the rest of us. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and an awesome staff.
Just moved here from the New Jersey shore area and heard this was an east coast pizza joint. It was close but not quite there. The meat balls were good but no where worth $13 for 4 little balls. The pizza was ok but to have a good east coast pizza you need to use the r right oven that is brick lined, a chewy inner an crispy outer crush, then lots of top quality cheese and a simple sauce. Their sauce was good light on cheese and crust was off, no flavor and too much flour. No sure when they opened or if they will survive but $6 for miller lite 16 oz. CAN, this isn't downtown. High priced for sure. I'll keep looking for a good pizza joint that has better food and prices or I'll just open my own Jersey Shore pizza parlor so I can get great pizza.
My brother lives close to Stubborn Brother, so I have visited several times. He will be disappointed by my review given that he loves the restuarant and always insists on taking me. It's a huge restuarant with lots of areas to hang out. There's a huge bar, several dining rooms and then a main dining area with booths, tables and bar seating. The service has always been good. Typically it's a college student that you want to tip well because you know they are a student. Huge menu. I love that you can order by the slice. Cold beers. Just not my cup of tea, but as I said, my brother loves it.
Unfussy sports bar offering beer, liquor, pool & traditional pub fare, plus a rear patio.
Always poppin and we play beer pong here, also corn hole. They’ve got billiards upstairs and just redid the felt (I think you have to pay for it now). My boyfriend and I go here with his coworkers and it’s a good time! Took a cool picture too so I’ll add it to this post.
Quite a place great outdoor garden. Music does not fit the bar on a Saturday
This busy neighborhood bar offers typical American comfort food, foosball & pool tables.
As with most places, service can be hit or miss depending on your server and what day it is. Service and food literally could not have been better today. Cajun chicken nachos were so good that I almost ordered more to take home for later. - Happy dude with a full belly
I ordered the Mexican buffet as a takeout for our lunch group. Service was very fast. The food is excellent. The people like the chicken and the beef. The beans I like as well as the rice also. Thanks to Ashley, the catering manager for organizing a smooth lunch.
I love going to bingo here but lately I feel like things have been a little fishy on the winning side I hear other customers talking. I personally feel like there should be some type of verification when someone wins. Like the person who calls bingo say their numbers out loud or something because for all we know we pay our money to play and if the caller knows someone they could say bingo and it don’t be a valid bingo but win the pot and split it with the caller. Which isn’t ethical or fair however we as paying customers will never know if it was a legit bingo or not. I know it’s the luck of the draw but I see the same person winning every week when it’s a certain person calling the numbers and it just don’t seem legit it’s to coincidental
A. This place is super close and B. The food, specials, and atmosphere is amazing! The SPECIALS are amazing! They have events that you definitely need to come in and check out!
The appetizer, ruben balls, they are manufactured and mushy inside. Skip this appetizer. They are nasty and a waste of your money. The perch dinner....the perch was very good. The fries were limp and greasy. The coleslaw was very good. The service was good as well.
Nice little tavern that serves traditional bar food like burgers and fish. I had the perch and shrimp dinner basket with fries and cole slaw. Shrimp and perch were done well, fries were solid, slaw was ok. Got the hot pepper cheese balls, I liked those as they had some decent heat. Nothing fancy, but a solid place to grab a bite and a brew.
I visited this establishment for the first time on 7/22/25. It was my first and definitely last visit. The bar manager was very rude. The service was horrible, and the tacos were even worse. I cannot believe how rude the guy was. It was three of us and we all felt the same way. We hurried and finished our drinks and left. I wish I had taken pictures of the tacos. They were disgusting. It didn't even look like real meat. I would give this place zero stars if I could.
Wanting to give people the benefit of the doubt and patronize black owned businesses. This is the third time I've been in this establishment twice the price was different in ordering the same items off the menu. Today when I asked for an explanation, I was informed that the prices are different depending on if the owner is in the establishment or away due to him giving discounts Nevertheless, I had ordered french fries. I have a bad shellfish allergy. Hindsight, I normally ask, but I checked the menu over carefully and did not see shrimp on the menu. I reached out to the establishment the server Sylvia informed me that they have not had shrimp on the menu in over a month and a half, and that the oil had been changed. I requested to speak to the owner of the establishment and was informed that he will reach out to me later the server not only had a negative attitude over the phone, but when time to pay, I had given her my credit card and she had given my credit card as well as my receipt to the individual who I was with. As a business owner, the need to be conscientious of service rendered to the public is imperative. There's a multitude of things wrong that have occurred. You do not render anyone's credit card to anyone other than the person who gave you the credit card. When it comes to the attitude of the server, that is her prerogative, she works at a bar understood the influx of individuals that she deals with however the unprofessionalism the abrupt irritation in her voice is unacceptable. I caution anyone who chooses to patronize this establishment.
Upbeat, family-friendly sports bar & American eatery featuring local rock bands & a covered patio.
Went here for the first time today as I am new in town and was checking out local places. I ordered the plain Jane burger with cheddar and ketchup, side of mac & cheese and the buttermilk cheese curds with ranch. To say, I was disappointed in the quality of the food would be an understatement. The burger Was… acceptable, I guess. It didn’t have the right cheese, but that was whatever but for $12 I expected something that had a better taste/texture than the frozen burgers from Gordon’s food service. My real beef was the cheese curds. I love cheese curds and was very excited to try them up here in the north/Midwest. They came out charred. That is the best word I can use. I understand the servers don’t have any control over the food and how it’s cooked, but I would not have even bothered to bring those out as a Server— you know no one wants to eat charcoal cheese. I can’t even say that maybe they forgot about them because they were busy as there were at most 13 people in the restaurant at the time and only two of us were eating food. It was pretty clear that I had not eaten any of them, but neither server asked if there was an issue with them. Also, that’s on me. I didn’t bring it up, but i’m generally non-confrontational, and it was very loud and stressful in there, and I was getting overstimulated, and as I knew I’m definitely not gonna be becoming a regular, there wasn’t really much point. To speak on the overstimulation, again there were maybe 13 people in there and the music was at a volume more suited to a full house of over 100.
Food was ok, soft taco shells and chips were stale, but the spicy queso was amazing. Service was super slow and it was not busy. Bartenders were too busy talking to one couple and each other. Music was great!
Club Evolution has the best Oxtails in Toledo! The Greens and Green Beans are fantastic as well as if I cooked them at home without having to do the work 🥰. The portions are large, I can never eat it all. My price selection included the tip.
I like the atmosphere. Everyone seem nice and happy. Food looks good. The drink is good it's mango and strawberry. I mixed the favors. This is going to be my only drink. I heard the tacos are good.😊😜
I love this place. It's so affordable and staff is awesome. HOWEVER. the sewer smell is insane. The second you walk in, you are hit with the smell of raw sewer gas. It is STRONG. The only way to escape it is to go outside, which is what I do every time I am here. I do not know how people can hangout inside or work here with the smell of ancient Toledo sewer permeating the air 24/7. It's bad. ......And I'm a plumber, I can handle this smell....but holy crap. It's hard to eat a pizza and smell the feces of the city at the same time. Besides the smell of malfunctioning plumbing and old sewer, this place is 5 stars on service, affordability, and yummies!
Went in for pizza. Absolutely terrible service. Server (sat behind bar on her phone)and barmaid saw us sit, not until we left did they act like they were coming to help. Whole place smelled like cannibas smoke. We will not return.
I visited a club in Toledo where you can play darts, enjoy authentic local music, and hang out with bikers. The atmosphere is fantastic, the music is always great, and the fun is guaranteed! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great night out!
Bands they have are to loud the music equipment is WAY to loud, LIKE SERIOUSLY TURN IT DOWN especially when you have an older crowd. The singing is good that's about it. Turn down your amplifiers, this is the 4th time we had to walk out and leave before we even finished a drink. Which sucks because we use to adore the place. : ( disappointed.
👍🏾
Always a fun time and a nice atmosphere at Agenda. Beyond excellent food, excellent staff, and now for football season, an awesome spot for the Dallas Cowboys Nation of Toledo watch parties. What's an added bonus is when the bartender is also a Dallas Cowboys fan. All love.
This is the only place I've been that get upsets with you for NOT being happy with your order when THEY screw up your order. I have stopped going there on multiple occasions for this reason. My coworkers and I have frequented this place, off and on, for nearly 8 years, SOLEY BECAUSE OF CONVIENCE. They are within a mile of my job so it's a good spot for a quick lunch trip. Every time I call in certain orders, I ask for them to be FRIED HARD. If they don't fry them hard, they will be mushy and greasy by the time we get to eat it. Today, after expressing my dissatisfaction with my food, the cook, in so many words, told me to stop ordering the food that way because they're going to continue to make it the way THEY want to. He had a whole attitude and was completely rude to me because I expect to get my food the way I order it. My friends/coworkers and I easily spend hundreds per week on lunch at this place. They just lost a valuable customer and I intend to spread the word about the mistreatment of their patrons.
Stylish, rustic-chic bar offering cocktails, global bites & panoramic views of the river & skyline.
A very nice restaurant with friendly service and a very interesting interior. It has huge windows and is located on a high floor, so you can admire the beautiful panorama of the neighborhood. There are several rooms and a huge terrace with tables. It's clean and spacious, and the service is very friendly. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was very tasty, and the fries were amazing! I went with a group of friends and everyone praised the food! The prices are reasonable. I really recommend it. The only downside is that it's crowded, so I recommend making a reservation.
It has a lovely view from the 12th floor overlooking the river. The staff were friendly and answered the questions promptly. We were with our pup and we were accommodated accordingly. We had a great time, our pup really enjoyed the view and friendly hi's. The service can be improved as we had to wait over 30 minutes for our pizza. Overall well done!
We love it there, Miss Georgia and Miss Carrie are our favorties... The atmosphere is great and the D.J is always Jammimg, and the drink are always on point...
It can get wild in there. I don't go anymore at 55 I'd rather cater to the older crowd
Sports bar serving classic pub grub along with steaks & ribs in an upbeat space with daily specials.
Love the bartender Kelly! She is awesome! Foul balls are the best, lightly honey barbecue! Yummy. Don't forget tip your barmaids good! They work hard! Love you Kelly!😘❤️🙏
My friends and I haven’t been here in a minute, and I was kinda hesitant… however, I am thoroughly glad we did! The service was friendly and actually very attentive, our orders were exactly how what we wanted and the food was perfect, hot and fresh! More than anything though, it was VERY clean, bathroom and all! So happy the right changes have been made! We can start coming back again!
Gastropub with build-your-own burgers, karaoke, live music 6 nights a week & a large bourbon list.
Food is solid.. good portions and definitely worth it, though not the tastiest I’ve ever had. Mondays are my favorite with the dollar wings deal, and I’ve never had a bad experience with the service here. The staff is always friendly and on point. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the atmosphere at the bar. I’m a bar girly, love to sit and eat/drink there, but smoking is allowed right at the bar. Nothing kills a tasty burger or plate of wings faster than a cloud of cigarette smoke drifting your way. I really wish they’d limit smoking, especially since food is such a big part of their draw, or at least push it back to after a certain time. That said, I’ve always had a good time here and met friendly people, so I’ll definitely keep coming back and just *hope* no one is smoking at the bar lol
The wings and pretzel bites were so delicious! We had plenty of left over wings for the next day too.
Sports-bar/restaurant chain with signature chicken wings & a family-friendly vibe.
The ribs are dry and hard with barely any sauce taste like they were microwaved. The bread that looks like a hamburger bun(it is) was the “roll” that came with the meal. The wings and fries were pretty good but the service and food took forever. The appetizers came out with the main course and were cold and hard clearly reheated after they had been sitting. We waited an hour after ordering our food for anything to come out, so we ended up being there almost 2 hours as it took over 15 mins for a server to come over to even get our drink order in which we order food and drinks at the same time. Wouldn’t recommend and don’t plan on going back overprice for crappy food and service. Also the bench stool are to small so they are uncomfortable especially to be sitting for over an hour in.
Great food, my first visit. The best wings I have ever had. Can't wait to go back.
The staff there was really cool. They made sure we all had a good time. Made me feel safe. Catered to our requests. Cool little spot. Oh and spacious!
Awesome food and they play good music all night. I love the mixed drinks they have and their margarita is the best!
We had a blast here! Went out after a Shinedown concert and closed the bar down for the first time in probably 5 years. We even out lasted the college kids that were out on a Thursday! DJ and bartenders were a good time.
Had a great time there when they opened up their roof seating. Thank goodness they play more with than just country music. I love country music. Bar staff and security are friendly and fair
Went to support an event Dope Tee Shirt Party. Drink prices for a Day Party/Happy Hour were VERY HIGH in comparison to the local bar scene. My chicken wings were smaller than my shrimp, shrimp was the only saving grace of my visit. Kitchen staff and bar staff were inattentive and uninterested in providing a quality client experience. I'll never go back, with the possible exception to pick up an order of shrimp and fries.
Had a great time with friends. Drinks a lil weak for the price. DJ was on point with music and played some hustles.
Bartender Riley and Keke are AMAZING. 5 stars, music 10/10 ALEKTRIC dj is so fire! Such a great spot to dance. Arabella the bottle girl is such a sweetheart! Also the manager Aaron was very helpful and professional. Best dance club in downtown Toledo!
Blatantly discriminatory. This is the second time our group has been denied entry, and both times it was clearly because we have gay members in our group. The bouncer actually said he could tell “by the way my cousin walked” that we weren’t getting in. When confronted, he changed his story and claimed it was because my cousin was “swaying” — which makes zero sense considering he was our sober designated driver and we were approaching from around a corner in a crowd. The last time we were turned away, we let it go. This time, it was too obvious to ignore. This place is not welcoming, and the discrimination is real. If you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community or support inclusivity, I’d think twice about giving them your business.
